I honestly wished I lived in New York just so I could catch shows like the one above. The CunninLynguists, along with a live band, seemed to have torn down the house at QN5’s yearly megashow which took place at the Highline Ballroom in NYC. CL’s next release, Strange Journey Volume Two, will hit shelves on November 3rd. Update: Thanks to Attevocai for the live band info.  Club Dub (who are also from Lexington, KY) are the live band that are performing along side CunninLyinguists.

What a perfect way to start off my official blog… Announcing the release of my Debut Album!

Yes Yes Yall, As some of you already know, I have been working on my album for the past 2 years. It has been filled with distribution disputes, money issues, nervous breakdowns and work. Im pretty sure I took a few years off my life during the completion of this project, But I am proud to announce ITS HERE! Thats right, The wait is over! And I have been sleeping much better since! I have just started the first phase of this release/takeover. The album is now being digitally through my own company (Solo For Dolo LLC) & IODA distribution. It will be carried in ALL major digital retailers (itunes, napster, rhapsody, emusic, limewire, verizon, amazon & more). I would like to thank everyone who has been showing love to my music over the past 2 years. Hopefully you will all show some support so I can continue to make more music in the future!!!

Continuing with the thrend of honesty slowly creeping its way back into hip-hop, my man PackFM got some well-respected emcees together to say why they F*ing Hate Rappers.  He also provided the fans with an opportunity to win some free stuff by saying why they hate rappers. Along with pack in this video, we have veterans such as Masta Ace & Sadat X as well as up and coming emcees such as Sha Stimuli & SkyZoo discussing their viewpoint. I hate rappers who are too cool and these superhuman characters that they made up in their heads. The rappers that are 25 years old with a college degree but rap about serving 15 year sentences and jail and killing a hundred people. I dont believe you. Based off what I’ve heard, CL is prepping another fantastic album for our ears to check out! I know it’s obvious to some of us, but I have to point out the amazing production from Kno. People sleep on him far too much. He’s easily in my top 5 still doing it today.
