I lördags kom släkt och nära vänner hem till mig för att fira min 40-års dag 6 dagar efter min födelsedag. Då jag bor i en liten etta på 39 kvm var jag tvungen att dela upp besöken. Vid 12-tiden kom fru Valröss och Lillröss då min syster skulle fixa kaffe till alla som skulle komma under dagen. Runt 13-tiden kom först min moster från Mariestad, min kusin Messal, min mamma och herr Valröss. Jag fick lite pengar, blommor och en box med 25 inspelningsbara dvd-skivor. Dvd-skivorna fick jag från herr Valröss och jag blev bra glad när jag såg att han hade köpt dvd-r då min dvd till tv:n bara kan spela in på dvd-r skivor. Nu kan jag bränna ut allt jag sparat på min inspelningsbara dvd, så som filmer jag spelat in från tv och allt material som jag spelade in efter AIK vann SM-guld och hela Svenska Cupen finalen. Vi käkade smörgåstårta och drack kaffe med kaka. Syrran hade verkligen lyckats med smörgåstårtorna och jag fick en ny favorit gjord med rostbiff. Mycket smarrigt! Vid tre snåret tackade alla för sig förutom syrran och kusinen som stannade kvar för att träffa kusin Zekes familj.

Vid 16-tiden kom Zeke med flickvän och dotter samt Zekes mamma, hans syster C med kille och deras två barn. Jag fick mer pengar som jag tackade så glatt för. Inom en snar framtid har jag råd att köpa mig en platt-tv. Det var skoj att träffa Zekes mamma och syster med familj då jag inte träffat dem på ett tag. Zekes systers son satte sig på golvet och lirade Fifa-09 medan vi andra pratade om allt möjligt. Jag fixade till i köket och sa sedan till att maten var serverad. Då jag redan hade käkat satt jag bara med och pratade med en god kopp java i handen. Alla tyckte att syrrans smörgåstårtor var goda. En stor eloge till henne för allt arbete hon lade ner på dem. Strax efter halv sex tackade Zekes familj för sig och åkte hem. Nu var det bara Zeke, hans flickvän och jag kvar. Nu väntade vi in mina vänner som skulle dyka upp vid 18-tiden.

Strax efter 18 började vännerna trilla in. Spoonman, Jycken, Älgen och Pats. Messal kom tillbaka efter att varit hemma och bytt om. Jag öppnade mina presenter som bestod av en flaska Famous Grouse 12-årig whiskey, en flaska Captain Morgan och en Bluetooth Music Reciever MBR-100. Riktigt fina saker. Tack, tack mina vänner. Vi skålade och tjatade och åt utav de goda smörgåstårtorna. Den tårtan med rostbiff blev utsedd till favorit av alla. Jag hade fixat till en Music Quiz som blev rätt lyckad och vinnare blev Jycken. Vinsten för honom var en riktigt stark grogg. Men då han var nykter kvällen till ära gav han den till Spoonman som mesade ur och försökte ge bort den till andra, men det slutade med att jag drack av den. Vid halv nio kom Gusten och hans flickvän A. Nu var alla som skulle komma samlade. Av dem fick jag ett fyllespel vid namn Drinking Ludo. Det är ett fia med knuff men med små shotglas istället för spelpjäser. Detta försökte vi spela under kvällen, men vi blev aldrig färdiga då det tog tid och de flesta blev lite smått berusade. Pats och Älgen drog hem lite tidigare då de bägge har barn att ta hand om. Vi andra fortsatte partandet. Kaptenen korkades upp och jag tror att den enda som smakade på den var jag. Whiskeyn var vi i alla fall tre som smakade på. Spoonman, Zeke och jag. Utav de tre lådorna öl jag hade köpt var det bara en låda + 6 öl som dracks upp. Bag in boxen öppnades inte ens, så nu har jag lite gott framöver. Ölen kommer räcka länge och det är perfekt inför nyår.

Någon gång vid midnatt tackade Zeke och hans tjej för sig då de skulle ta bussen hem. Vi andra fortsatte skåla till bra partymusik. Club, house, pop, metal, irländskt, synth, breakbeat, dnb, rnb, hip hop, rock, trip hop, downtempo och riktigt gamla godingar. Det var en salig blandning kan jag lova. Jag vet inte vad klockan var när vi skulle dra vidare in till city, men iväg kom vi. Spoonman gick hem istället medan vi andra vinglade iväg glada och berusade. Messal gick in på Bogrens och Gusten, hans flickvän och jag gick till Voda. Jag köpte en drink till Gusten då hans födelsedag var igår söndag och en drink till mig. Vi satt där och tjatade och skålade tills stället stängde. Efter det bar det av till Donken där jag träffade The New Yorker som bjöd mig på en QP meny. Jag tror att han bjöd för jag hade fyllt år. Det var lite dimmigt där. Vi satt kvar så länge tills personalen släckte ner och sa till att alla skulle gå. Jag har ingen aning om vad klockan var. Vid Sandtorget sa The New Yorker och jag hejdå och jag traskade hem på väldigt vingliga ben. Väl hemma tog jag av mig mina kläder och sedan vaknade jag upp någon gång på söndag förmiddag.

Bakfyllemunnen var vidrig och huvudet liksom exploderade så fort jag rörde lite på mig. Jag var tvungen att gå upp, ta en värktablett och lite vatten med en brustablett som ska återställa vätskebalansen i kroppen. Min huvudvärk försvann tillslut, men då kom de underbara illamåendeattackerna och svettningarna som skulle förgylla större delen av söndagen. Inte förrän sent på kvällen mådde jag någorlunda ok igen för att kunna käka lite smörgåstårta som blev kvar från i lördags. Jag kan säga att det var soffläge hela söndagen för mig. Men det är priset man får betala när man har haft riktigt roligt och ett bra rus.

Aca en Guatemala existen muy pocas radios que sean buenas o que uno pueda decir “tienen una programacion aceptable”, aunque la verdad tambien acepto que eso es algo subjetivo respecto a cada persona. Total en cuanto a gusto musical, me gustan varios generos y dentro de ellos no se encuentra el mierdaTon, grupero, texmex, rancheras o cosa que se les parezca, pero como ya dije cada persona tiene gustos distintos. Total en una de las radios de las cuales su programacion era rescatable, ultimamente se han puesto con muchas ironias que yo en un sentido mas directo les llamo estupidecez.

Hace algunos meses recuerdo que vino a Guatemala Mago de Oz y resulta que estaban regalando entradas, pero lo idiota del asunto es que si uno llamaba para pedir una rola de Mago, resulta que esas no las tienen en programacion, entonces dije WTF!!! o Que Putas!!! en buen Guatemalteco (primer Strike).

El otro dia tambien vino uno de esos mareros que cantan mierdaTon y en su programacion incluyen una aberracion cancion de las que toca ese cuate y tambien estaban dando entradas. Ahora resulta que viene ese otro marero, mierYanki, y en esa radio invitan a la mara a que vaya a ese concierto, pero si acaso algun ente humano llamara para pedir una idiotez cancion de ese marero, apuesto uno de mis testiculos a que no se la ponen (claro sin antes haber leido este post, sino lo van a hacer solo para que me trague mis palabras, jajaja ) -segundo Strike-.

Al ver este tipo de cosas me pregunto QP!!!, la mara no tiene una linea de comportamiento definido, es algo asi como dice un cuate… “Sos o no sos” y es que tambien el mierdaTon ha influido mucho en la mente de mucha mara, sino hay que ver como hace algunos a~nios quitaron una muy buena radio (quiza la unica) de rock (aunque no me defino como rockero, me gusta ese genero) solo para poner estupidecez al aire, utilizando una frecuencia radial que se podria haber utilizado para algo mejor y no someter a tanto usuario (como yo) del transporte urbano (o a cualquier lugar que va uno) a escuchar ese nivel de tonterias y todavia escuchar a mara desesperada que envia su numero de telefono para poder tener amigos QP?.

Tampoco hay que hablar pajas (mentiras) esa radio tiene 3 programas que si son buenos, uno los martes y jueves donde hablan sobre cosas sobre naturales, extra~nias, de miedo; otro donde tratan temas sobre sexualidad, que es bastante interesante por cierto; y uno mas donde pasan musica electronica (a estas alturas algun lector quiza sabe a que radio me refiero).

En conclusion la verdad es que cada uno con sus gustos, pero da risa/pena la falta de definicion de la mara en su comportamiento o quiza aca tiene metidas sus manos la se~nora llamada interesComercial.

Transmission Starts…

Peering over the hedges from inside the A or indeed the the D at the cars parked in the business park car parks 2 cars always stand out. They are often parked together, each totally confident within there particular type of existence.

The first is the pragmatic, the functional, the solid, the thoroughly Germanic Volkswagen Phaeton. It has a confident face set on those broad shoulders. One that speaks of great ability and an innate confidence. Of course you could buy the better looking, the more brutal Bentley Continental GT or the Phaetons true brother in brief; the Flying Spur, but really, if you are as confident as the underpinnings, the soul of this car, then you take the VW body-shell. You save 40k and gain a vehicle with the ability to be parked almost anywhere yet not attract any unwanted attention. It will almost certainly never go wrong and will look as good in ten years time as it does now with minimum of molly-coddling.

But for all of its great ability there is one glaring problem with the Phaeton. It feels nothing. It is passionless. It won’t ever coax you into taking it out for a quickie. It will always be the automotive equivalent of an Intercity train; Big powerful, impressive yet there for a purpose not a whim.

The second of the duo is also big, powerful and limo-like. Only this one is beautiful, feline, passionate, moody and fragile. It is the Maserati Quattroporte. Where the wise money goes on a strong, pragmatic diesel heart in the Phaeton, you have only one choice in the QP. A Ferrari V8. Nothing signifies passion in a motor vehicle than to know a Ferrari heart is pumping those wheels along. Invariably it will live hard and fast before imploding roughly half way through its expected life span. It is also likely that sometimes (though not always) the electrical systems of the QP will simply refuse to work. If the technology existed for a diagnostic device similar to the Star Trek Tricorder to be used it would quickly find that the laws of physics have been bent on some unknown whim of the collection of metals and polymers that sit before you.

Both of these cars are great, not because they fulfill an expectation of what a good luxury car is, but because they fulfill what it is to be who they are. They have been worked hard on being strong within the confines of there identities. This, really is what defines a brand. It is why an LS430, impressive though it is, is, for now at least, the automotive equivalent of an expensive fridge. It won’t be until Lexus finds its particular face that a little soul will be injected.

So, the inevitable question is which of the two would I have? I’d probably (with the right size pockets) take the QP until it drove me so far up the wall that I’d chop it in for something practical for the week and something balls out for the weekend. What would those be?
Well, that’s another story.

Como está o atual nível de prazer e satisfação dos brasileiros? Quais os atos e sensações que propiciam uma maior satisfação aos olhos, aos ouvidos e ao paladar? Para tentar satisfazer essas curiosidades, a Magnum, marca de sorvetes da Kibon, lançou no mercado nacional uma ação batizada de Quociente do Prazer (QP).

Hospedado no site oficial da marca, o teste já foi realizado pela companhia em mais de 180 países e parte do pressuposto de que cada indivíduo possui uma referência de estímulos e de coisas com as quais sente prazer. Além disso, o teste procura medir o quão satisfeitos estão os internautas e o quanto eles vem se permitindo aproveitar os prazeres da vida e se entregar às coisas que lhes fazem bem.

Desenvolvido pelo psicólogo e professor da Universidade de Leicester, da Inglaterra, Alex Linley, o teste do Quociente de Prazer é formada por sucessivas perguntas que procuram definir o perfil de prazer de cada um – Realização, Audititvo, Gustativo, Olfativo, Adrenalina, Relax, Social Solitário, Social em Grupo, Tato e Visual .
