<p>I was never aware of the Audi A8 until I saw Transporter 2.   I loved it because it was just a big slab of luxury sedan.  Well, Frank Martin, I wouldn&#8217;t worry about the cost of repairing your A8 after Transporter 3.  Just save your dollars.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t heard too many details about this car yet other than the drivetrain, but I will assume that it&#8217;s riding on an the same  frame as the outgoing 2004 &#8211; 2010 A8.  It&#8217;ll have adaptive magnetic suspension and&#8230;ya know what? Screw that boring stuff. Let&#8217;s get to it.</p>
<p>Audi is keeping the 4.2 liter V8 as the base engine, but they&#8217;ve done some fiddling with it and have pumped up the ponies to 372 instead of the previous 350.  Hook that up to an all new 8 speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode  and you should get a 0 &#8211; 60 sprint of about 5.7 seconds, says Audi.</p>
<p>As for the exterior, I do miss the understated nature of the 2010 model, but I do prefer the looks of this to one of it&#8217;s competitors, the all new BMW 7 series.   there&#8217;s more creases here and there, more interesting lines in this place&#8230;although i&#8217;m not entirely sure i like the  shape of the LEDs in the headlights though.  But, from a front on view, I love the way the car looks at you.  It&#8217;s the same look as the retiring model, just new clothes on.</p>
<p>Direct competitors would be the aforementioned BMW 7 seres as well as the Mercedes S550.  That said, it&#8217;s not looking like the new A8 is going to much of a match for either of them &#8212; at least where performance is concerned.  372bhp is a good number, as is the 328 ft-lbs -o-torque, but the Merc and Beamer both put out more horses and torques.</p>
<p>But do I really care that much?  Nope, not really.  I&#8217;ve never been a huge fan of the looks of the S550 and i&#8217;m not crazy about BMW&#8217;s new design language.  I&#8217;d take the new A8, but I want more power. Don&#8217;t get me wrong, 5.7 seconds ain&#8217;t bad, but you guys know you can do better.  Bring back the w12 and we&#8217;ll talk&#8230;.or at least offer a new S8?</p>

<title><![CDATA[This Driving Thing. It's So Last Year...]]></title>

<p>I read this week that Audi plans to do a spot of racing. Nothing unfamiliar there you might think. But get this; they’re planning to do a spot of racing, in a car with no driver. Apparently they’re using their new Quatto TTS in a hillclimb race to unveil their newest innovation of “Vorsprung durch Technik” which is German for “Advancement Through Technology.” But here’s the thing. There’s a lot of talk at the moment about the future of the motor industry, and how we’re going to cope with getting newer and better fuels for our cars. But nobody’s really talking about the technology that will help us drive better in the future. So my question tonight is this: A driverless car, would it ever work?</p>
<p><!--more--></p>
<p>Well, on principle the plan holds up well. If the technology can be fitted successfully to a normal car then surely being able to simply get into your car, and letting it drive you to work would be the very definition of heaven. There would be no morning rush hour because nobody would be in a rush. Traffic jams would still exist but the frustrations of them would be gone, we’d all be too busy watching DVD’s on the back seat, whilst the car up front does the thinking on how best to get you home. Surely this is the single best idea since the invention of the car? Well, no, sadly not, because there’s one or two problems that I can see happening.</p>
<p>Chief among which is the way that the system operates. Audi are suggesting that the aerial towers that exist now to provide mobile phone coverage could be similarly used to transmit instructions to your car, telling it the speed limit and where to go and so on. But hang on; have you ever tried using a cellular data network? It just doesn’t work. My iPhone for example is supposedly able to get a signal anywhere in the UK, and yet I know of at least ten different places where there simply isn’t any. And this might not be a huge problem when all you’re trying to do is send a text. But when you’re entrusting your life to a car, it becomes rather more vital that you remain connected.</p>
<p>Of course the other concern that immediately springs to mind is that of public transport. There’s all sorts of campaigns at the moment to get us to use the bus and train more. To avoid driving into urban centres like London and use public transport instead. But would you get on a bus that had no driver? Would you step foot on a train if you knew that all that was controlling it was a set of silicon microchips? Nope, me neither. The whole experience can be likened to air travel. We all know that 90% of the actually business of flying these days is done by a computer. We are told that, if required, the whole journey could be completed by the computer, and that the pilot is no longer necessary except in an emergency. And yet I for one would not dream of getting on a plane if the pilot wasn’t there. He could be out cold drunk, and be a recovering heroin addict, but as long as he’s slumped at the wheel of the plane, I’m happy. We require a human presence because it makes us feel secure. It’s quite strange really, we entrust so much of our lives to machines, but when it comes to travelling, we like to do things ourselves.</p>
<p>Audi maintain that even if the system does prove successful, and it is still in the very early stages at the moment, that it wouldn’t be used to negate the presence of a human driver completely. Rather it would be used as an on/off system for those times when your really can’t be bothered. So you could leave work on manual, get onto the motorway, and then cruise home without having to focus on the road at all. Like I say, in principle, the idea works like a dream. In practice however, things tend to be a lot different. I mean, in principle the idea of the London congestion charge was a good idea. But now look, all we’ve got is a lot of very confused and very angry people trying to get into the city.</p>
<p>But the biggest problem by a mile with this system, and with all ideas like it in fact, is that they are based around new technology which, inevitably, will go wrong. And that’s not just my own opinion, that’s a solid fact. Take my new sat-nav system for example. I recently used it on the drive from my home town up to Lincoln. It’s a pretty simply route this, straight up the A1 and if you get to Scotland you’ve gone too far. I decided to have the sat-nav on just for good measure. But halfway down the A43, it switched itself off for no apparent reason. And no matter how hard I tried, no matter how many times I smacked it or yelled at it, it remained motionless, unforthcoming with any sort of navigation advice. It was, for lack of a better word, broken.  New technology will by definition break. This means that you’ll be constantly waiting for the moment when your car packs up. You’ll be sitting there, hands mere inches from the steering well, ready to take action when the inevitable and total failure of the system occurs. So in fact, rather than making the process of driving any less arduous, Audi are succeeding in making it forty times more stressful than it needs to be.</p>
<p>So tonight I have a few simple words for Audi. Yes, I like your idea, and yes, if you can get it to work it might do well. But why bother? I mean, its not like driving is a chore. It’s not as if people get into their mercs and beemas in the morning thinking “god, this is boring, I wish I didn’t have to drive.” We like driving, so why oh why are you trying to take it away from us? It ain’t broke Audi, so don’t try and fix it.</p>

<p>Le stampe che offrono una certa continuità dal 1948fino al1989 toccano tutti i grandi stereotipi, non solo della Germania dell&#8217;Est, ma dei regimi autoritari in senso lato, così come i grandi temi e la retorica della Guerra Fredda: dall&#8217;agricoltura al lavoro in officina, passando per le grandi manifestazioni sportive, l&#8217;educazione, la scuola, le «città nuove» e i nuovi modelli abitativi dei grandi blocchi socialisti, fino ad arrivare ai cosmonauti (così si chiamavano gli astronauti nella Germania dell&#8217;Est).</p>
<p>«L&#8217;aspetto di interesse, secondo me, è che le immagini ottiche sono figlie più della storia che delle nostre mani, molte volte facciamo finta di ignorare che lo stile della fotografia è anche una funzione di un determinato tipo di pellicola e di una certa lunghezza focale.</p>
<p>Questo archivio ci svela alcuni segreti, di un certo sviluppo e poi di un bravissimo stampatore in grado di ritoccare le immagini».</p>

<p>Raffaele Marcielo e Alex Fontana sono due giovani piloti Ticinesi rispettivamente di Kart e Formula Azzurra  che si stanno distinguendo nei rispettivi campionati sognando un giorno di arrivare in Formula Uno. Li abbiamo incontrati per conoscerli meglio, fare il punto sulla stagione appena conclusa e conoscere i loro progetti per il futuro.<!--more--></p>
<p><strong>RAFFAELE MARCIELLO, SOGNANDO LA FERRARI</strong><br />
Riservato, ­­­a volte timido nella vita privata. Aggressivo, tenace e estroverso al volante del suo kart.  Messosi in luce fin dai primi esordi nelle categorie Baby, ha proseguito la sua carriera collezionando successi in ogni categoria affrontata. Raffaele è salito per la prima volta su un Kart a 4 anni per imitare il papà, la sua prima pista è stata il posteggio di casa. La F.1 è naturalmente l’obiettivo di Raffaele, che sogna di schierarsi in futuro sulle griglie del Mondiale&#8230;</p>
<p><em><strong>Come giudichi questa stagione?</strong> E’ stata una stagione sfortunata perché ero sempre nelle prime posizioni poi per vari problemi mi sono dovuto spesso fermare ma di podi ne ho comunque conquistati un bel po’.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Quale gara ti è piaciuta di più quest’anno? </strong>Sarno gara della WSK. Nella prefinale partivo 28 e alla fine sono arrivato secondo. In quindici giri ho recuperato  tante posizioni con un’ottima partenza.</em></p>
<p><em><strong>Perché hai deciso di cambiare squadra a stagione quasi terminata?</strong> Avevo problemi con il mio vecchio Team, abbiamo avuto qualche litigio. Il kart non era male, erano l’ambiente e il modo di lavorare a non piacermi più. Nel Team Morsicani, la mia nuova squadra mi sono subito trovato bene.</em></p>
<p><strong>ALEX FONTANA, UN FUTURO A 300 ALL&#8217;ORA</strong><em><br />
</em>Ama i motori a 360 gradi. Determinato, con le idee molto chiare e consapevole delle sue capacità. Alex si avvicina ai motori a soli tre anni e mezzo e a quindici sale su una monoposto di Formula Azzurra come pilota ufficiale. Anno dopo anno, Alex è riuscito ad affinare le sue qualità di pilota ed il suo personale stile di guida basato sulla combattività&#8230;</p>
<p><em><strong>Come è stato il primo impatto con una monoposto?</strong> Rispetto al mondo del Kart è molto differente. In monoposto sono otto gare più qualche test. E’ un po’ poco e quando poi si va in pista si ha molta voglia.</em></p>
<p><em>C<strong>ome giudichi questa stagione? </strong>Il bilancio complessivo è positivo. Purtroppo ho finito sono solo settimo, indietro rispetto alle aspettative a metà campionato.  Ho avuto problemi al motore e alcuni piccoli incidenti che ci possono stare in gara. Il risultato finale però va benissimo anche perché al primo anno di auto due vittorie, tre podi e tredici volte a punti su sedici è comunque un risultato positivo.</em></p>

<p>Così almeno sarebbe legittimato a dire no a nuovi contratti di lavoro, risparmiano così qualche euro.Eh sì, perchè dai dati registrati tra il 2007 e il 2008, nelle amministrazioni la prassi di dare lavori a esterni per rimpinguare le fila, talvolta sottorganico, degli uffici pubblici, o anche, più biecamente, per far entrare qualche «segnalato», non si è arrestata.</p>
<p>Secondo i dati forniti dagli uffici del ministro Brunetta, il numero degli incarichi di consulenza e le collaborazioni esterne, almeno quelli comunicati al dicastero attraverso la rete, sono cresciuti in maniera sensibile: dai 269.455 incarichi segnalati on line da 9843 amministrazioni si è passati ai 305.048 incarichi segnalati da un maggior numero di amministrazioni, cioè da 11.904 pa.</p>
<p>E, in soldoni, vuol dire che nel 2008 dalle casse di via XX Settembre sono stati stampigliati cedolini per buste paga per 1,537 miliardi di euro, quasi 200 milioni di euro in più in consulenze rispetto all&#8217;anno precedente, quando si era speso 1,354 miliardi (+13,49 anno su anno).</p>

By pushing a button, the driver can decide how comfortable he wants to move forward. So in the comfort mode it is very relaxed on the matter, soil roughness are very well spring-mounted, perfect for family rides. The dynamic mode is the optimal balance between comfort and sportiness. This mode makes you basically never get wrong.</p>
<p>If it looks sporty on the road, or even on the track, it should go ahead, just the push of a button and the RS6 is taut and tired on the asphalt. This allows the ESP to be switched off in two steps.</p>

Of course we can discuss about the meaning and purpose of such a vehicle, but the fact is that there is a market for such vehicles.</p>
<p style="color:#666666;margin:0;padding:0 0 10px;">Audi has been understood, to not transform the RS6 to a prole car. Instead, the RS6 is educated and well-behaved and is always good to handle. Also, the visibility was in positive. That is been rare. Ultimately you will probably get from A to B with a 2.0 TDI  &#8211; the only question is, who will have more fun.</p>

<p>To begin with, they get points for a catchy jingle!  And the women doing garden work in cute outfits with serious looking, albeit pink, tools is both entertaining and interesting.  It manages to blend the ultra-feminine image that is the bread and butter of the beauty industry with a kind of empowering view of women who are capable and independent.  That said, I have to wonder who really, honestly expects women to believe that all they need to do to cheer themselves up when they feel down is shave their bikini area.  Seriously?  There are a lot of ways they could have tried to sell this razor and even a lot of ways they could have tried to sell the idea of shaving pubic hair, so why choose one that makes so little sense?  Talk about how it is supposed to make a woman feel beautiful or how bare skin feels great or something.  Why sell a task that many women find annoying, frustrating or even scary (and a great many don&#8217;t think about at all, because they don&#8217;t do it) as something to do when you need to be cheered up?  You eat chocolate, watch a favorite movie, cuddle with a pet or smell flowers to cheer up, you don&#8217;t shave.</p>
<p>Still, it&#8217;s an impressive commercial and the jingle is catchy!  It just doesn&#8217;t make me want to buy a razor, it makes me want to pick flowers!</p>

<p>The long-awaited Audi RS5 is almost here folks. It&#8217;s yet to be confirmed but the word going around is the car will have an output of approximately 450 hp courtesy of a high-revving V8. As always, be expecting the RS5 to deliver all this power through all four wheels using the Quattro system.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>In 1980, Audi a prezentat primul sau model dotat cu sistem quattro si a initiat, prin victoriile sale in cursele de raliuri, o noua etapa in istoria tractiunii. Fiecare al patrulea client Audi cumpara un model bazat pe sistemul de tractiune quattro.</p>
<p>Ce este sistemul quattro si cum functioneaza? Quattro este un sistem de tractiune integrala permanenta care ofera mai multa mobilitate, siguranta si placere in timpul conducerii masinii, in orice conditii de drum (spun cei de la Audi). Principiul de functionare este simplu: patru roti motrice, actionate de blocul motor (in loc de doua in fata sau in spate) permit o accelerare optima si un nivel ridicat de manevrabilitate. In acelasi timp, in functie de drum si de situatie, sistemul quattro transmite forta de tractiune pe puntea spate sau pe puntea fata. In special pe portiuni de drum alunecoase, sistemul asigura o tractiune sporita si o deplasare mai sigura  &#8211; chiar si in situatiile in care masinile cu doar doua roti motrice nu mai pot inainta.</p>
<p>Sistemul quattro imparte in functie de necesitate intre 33% si 66% din forta de tractiune pe una din punti &#8211; fata sau spate. Daca, de exemplu, tractiunea este mai buna pe puntea fata decat pe puntea spate, atunci 60% din forta de tractiune este distribuita puntii fata, restul celei din spate. Daca tractiunea pe puntea fata scade si, in schimb, creste tractiunea pe puntea spate, distributia fortei de tractiune se inverseaza.</p>
<p>Gandindu-ma la exemple de utilizare eficienta a tractiunii integrale, vad intrarea pe o portiune cu zapada, caz in care aderenta scade si atunci puntea spate aflata inca sa zicem pe pietris impinge masina, urmata de iesirea de pe zapada, caz in care aderenta e mult mai mare pe pietris si atunci puntea fata trage masina. Similar pentru situatii zapada-gheata. Sau asfalt-ulei.</p>
<p>Ce mai spune Audi: tehnologia inovatoare quattro reprezinta un avantaj evident in privinta tractiunii, acceleratiei, vitezei in curbe si a deplasarii pe drum drept, oferind in plus o siguranta activa sporita. Pentru ca toate cele patru roti sunt motrice, masina este deosebit de sigura la manevrare, chiar si in conditii meteorologice nefavorabile si in conditii de drum diferite.</p>
<p>Cum va dezvolta Audi in viitor sistemul quattro? Lucrand la un sistem quattro cu diferential sport reglat electronic asa incat sa distribuie forta de tractiune in mod variabil intre cele doua roti din spate, prevenindu-se astfel subvirarea in cazul conducerii rapide in curbe si schimbarea centrului de greutate prin stabilizarea masinii. Lucru care va duce la o accelerare marita in curbe si o reducere semnificativa a sarcinilor soferului.</p>

Se si utilizza un <b>computer</b> portatile, verrà probabilmente visualizzato stanca con un touch pad con le dita sudate in un caldo giorno d&#39;estate. Concedetevi un mouse per <b>computer</b> e di navigare velocemente e con maggiore movimenti del cursore senza soluzione di continuità! </p>
<p> Qui ci sonoalcune cose che sono utili a prendere in considerazione quando si seleziona un mouse del <b>computer.</b> </p>
<p> * Tipo </p>
<p> Ci sono due tipi di topi: il mouse meccanico e il mouse ottico. Il mouse meccanico è il mouse vecchia palla che utilizza una palla per rilevare il movimento su un tappetino del mouse.
