Summary of Ephesians: Found in previous posts under BSF Acts. Question: 12) Ephesians 1: God

Summary of Ephesians: Found in previous posts under BSF Acts.

Question:

12) Ephesians 1: God’s great power (verses 19-21)

Ephesians 2: God’s grace (verses 5 & 8)

Ephesians 3: God’s riches and his Spirit in our inner being (verse 16)

Ephesians 4: God’s forgiveness (verse 32)

Ephesians 5: God’s love (verses 1-2)

Ephesians 6: Armor of God (verses 11-13)

Conclusions: Ephesians is a great little book that explains the gospel and God’s purpose for our lives. I got so much out of this. It’s also very encouraging when you are discouraged, contains many words of wisdom and advice for living, and reminds us to stay strong on this side of Heaven.

Summary of passages: can be found in previous posts. Question: 13) God’s incredible love for

Summary of passages: can be found in previous posts.

Question:

13) God’s incredible love for us overshadows all of God’s judgment. The clarity of salvation, righteousness, and justification. The history of the restrictions of the Old Testament before Jesus makes me that much more in awe of Jesus’s death and much more grateful. It makes me want to learn more about Old Testament life.

Conclusions: You all were right–Lesson 25 was definitely tough, especially Day 4. If you are like me and don’t have a deep understanding of the Bible and terminology, then you definitely struggled. But I learned so much and feel much more aware of the blessings of my life and how lucky we all are to live after Jesus’s death. God made our lives much easier by sending His son, which I will be forever grateful for.

I am at my best when I am learning or doing something purposeful. Otherwise, I fall into the trap of complaining and monotony of life. BSF has been a huge blessing in my life. You all have been a huge influence in my life through challenging my answers and encouraging me–something I would never have imagined 8 months ago.

I am grateful for this year as this study winds down. I am grateful for such powerful life lessons. I am grateful for God and the immense comfort He gives all of us in the trials of this life.

I pray this will continue, which only God knows, but in the meantime, I pray, listen, and learn alongside all of you. I truly can’t think of a better way to spend my time (okay so maybe with my kids who are just so cute and my husband who reminds me to settle down when the small things in life get to me–ha, ha!) than with the Lord in His word.
