Ok, this will be a straight-to-the-point, please-do-not-panic short, simple and sweet advice on some DIY how-tos today.

It’s ok if you’re unfamiliar with all the seemingly complicated beauty procedures your friends or colleagues are used to having. If it’s always been your habit to keep it fuss free, here are some tips that might help you with basic beauty preparation.

From about a month or two (preferably two) leading up to your wedding, drink 6 to 8 glasses of water daily. This will be good for your skin and may clear up blemishes, giving your skin a more radiant quality.

Don’t forget to top this off with as much adequate rest as you can get.

While you’re drinking all that water, try to reduce your caffeine intake if you’re used to having at least 2 to 3 cups of coffee a day. Caffeine is not your skin’s best friend, and may make you jumpy especially when it comes to a stressful crunch where it seems there’s so much to do but so little time.

For your pearly whites, consider having them cleaned about a fortnight leading up to your wedding. Two DIY teeth maintenence you can also consider, are going for strips you see in pharmacies. Be sure however to first read the box carefully beforehand and check with the pharmacist for any possible allergy / sensitive reactions that may develop, just in case.

Whitening toothpastes are also convenient. These take at least 2 months so you may want to allocate good time for this DIY procedure to have some effect.
