Design Inspiration 2: Light and Shapes in Perspective

As I was walking to a meeting at work I turned a corner and saw this view in the corridor ahead.  The shapes cast by the sunlight streaming through the windows on a sunny winter’s morning made me think about how I could abstract the shapes and perspective and turn it into a quilt design. 30 more words

I Made This!

I was pondering what to do with my FMQ practice sandwiches for a while. I don’t like throwing and wasting “stuff”, especially food and fabric. Then, it hit me: we were using a hot water bottle and feeling the boiling plastic isn’t a nice feeling. 277 more words
