I went too see Status quo tonight.. What an awesome gig it was a sellout at wembley and everyone was rocking.. Young, old whatever you may be you can still enjoy a bit of quo. There was all sorts of people there and all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Very pleased I went and Id recommend it too anyone, anyday.

You know how those makeup palettes that they sell at Christmas are always disappointing because they aim for the least objectionable shades — nothing fun, always slightly ruddy looking? Not this year my friends!

This past Friday I pulled myself together and went out despite being sick all week to see the Black Eyed Peas perform. They were performing at Hudson Terrace just as they did at Kiss & Fly earlier in the week. After a late dinner with my dad at Capital Grille, Kurshot and I headed straight for Hudson Terrace so we didn’t miss out on the night’s festivities. By the time we got there the booze had been flowing, people dancing everywhere and it was the perfect time to join in. After a round of drinks from Zach at the bar we headed to our table to start catching up. There was a lot of energy flowing through the place with girls holding nothing back on the dance floor, couches, anywhere they could squeeze a pair of stilettos to fit and hold themselves up. The guys referring back to our steps from “How Should YOU Approach a Woman at a Club”, were all over the place trying to figure out what they could say over the loud music that would bring down the girl at interest’s guard for a split second to give him a chance at a conversation. One partygoer was bringing 7 girls back to his place for after hours so he must have the secret everyone is looking for.

The Black Eyed Peas performed which had everyone going nuts. Hudson Terrace is doing something right and continues to deliver a great party with the appearances of celebs that everyone enjoys. We also picked up Quo on Fridays however I have yet to make it over there because of the high rate of success at Hudson Terrace. The solid roof(instead of the tarp looking one) is up for the cold months which will allow the good parties to continue.

But what if all those who stand the risk of being alienated come together? I can guarantee you there are atleast a few million others who feel like this. Isn’t there meant to be power in numbers?

Stop walking on egg-shells everytime you feel like speaking from your heart, cos forced political correctness can go #^@* itself!

Se ha detectado una enorme fuga de sonrisas en una localidad de Malro. Esta vez, la afectada es una fábrica digital.

Todos los directivos están aunando esfuerzos para volver a sembrar el caos y la desorganización. Pero la situación no es sencilla, las sonrisas se propagan rápidamente. Su contagio es tan grande que esta mañana un magnate inmobiliario que visitaba las instalaciones ha tenido que ser hospitalizado de urgencia por una mueca de sonrisa sincera. Los médicos aseguran que volverá a recuperar su estado habitual con una buena dosis de píldoras del miedo.

Los expertos comentan que este atentado al Statu Quo puede generar una epidemia irreversible.

Desde la Agencia de Control de Masas se ha declarado la alerta oscura en la zona.  Los efectivos de Control están infectando la localidad con nubes grises cargadas de estrés. Eso sí, advierten que serán tiempos difíciles, pues el virus que ya vuela por nuestros cielos es sincrónico e inmune al dinero.

A raíz de esta noticia se están desencadenando avalanchas de sonrisas contra el miedo en distintos puntos del planeta, aquí pueden ver un claro ejemplo:

Hope all of you have been doing well and enjoying life. I am writing a day or 2 earlier than usual due to a new addition to my weekly line up on Mondays.

Every Monday I will be at SU CASA in the West Village instead of Greenhouse due to it being a better party. After a complete renovation they have re-opened and started a weekly party. I have been asked to join the party from the same guys I work with and who also run the weekly parties on Thurs at CAIN and also Sunday at TENJUNE. It is going to be a strict door with a very heavy model crowd. Do you have to be a model to get in? Not necessarily however that will be the type of crowd present. This week will be the first week and we have a bunch of confirmed guests and table reservations already. We also have some FORD MODELS as well as some models from AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL stopping by to enjoy the party. HIt me up if your interested in coming out and checking out the party!

This past week was pretty much like every other week. Nothing out of the ordinary happened so I would hate to waste your time by reading the same thing over and over again. One party that I did want to mention was HUDSON TERRACE this past Friday. I just joined the team this past week and it was a very good crowd. They had a bigger turnout than expected so the door wasnt as smooth as it should have been but the kinks will be worked out. The first floor of the venue was closed due to a private party so the rooftop was a little too crowded for my liking, however it was still a good time. Come out next week and check out the party!

A couple new clubs opened or are set to be opening in the near future. One being SIMYONE(SL) from the owners of TENJUNE on 14th between 9th and washington. I have not had the time to check it out yet however I have heard that it is a great crowd, not that it is a huge surprise. The old venue by the name of PRIME was closed about a month ago. It was quite the ghetto party however some investors have gotten involved and are renovating the place to make a better party. They have approached us however time will tell if we decide to join the party. It is set to open within a month or so. I will be sure to keep you posted. Also the old venue by the name of ULTRA was reopened under the name of LA POMME this past week and I heard that it was dead. We will see if it picks up with time.

Upcoming Events:
-Wednesday, September 30th as I said before we will be hosting our monthly fashion show at NIKKI BEACH. It is our show so in order to come you will have to come with one of our promoters. Several designers, a couple of performances, good music and great fashion will lead to a great night. The event starts at 8pm followed by an after party at Marquee/Pink Elephant. Let me know if you wanna come.

He is also amazing with traditional medium such as pen and ink, watercolor and airbrush. He is currently featured in the latest issue of Quo magazine (it’s a Spain-based mag). Sono passati settantacinque anni da quel lontano 9 Giugno del 1934 quando, giovane anatraccolo, debuttasti sul grande schermo nel disegno animato The wise little hen (La gallinella saggia), con un look completamente diverso da quello attuale( becco lungo, corpo tiroidale) e come spalla al tuo fianco un tale Peter Pig, abile quanto te nello scansare qualsivoglia attività lavorativa; pochi mesi e il disegno animato venne trasposto con qualche adattamento in una storiella a fumetti, pubblicata a puntate nei supplementi domenicali dei quotidiani statunitensi, The little red hen, I due fannulloni in Italia( n.28-35 Supplemento a Topolino, Ediz.Nerbini), con sceneggiatura di Ted Osborne e disegni di Al Taliaferro.
Iniziava così la tua carriera nel mondo dei fumetti, ma mentre in America venivi affiancato a Topolino( Topolino giornalista), a volte anche insieme a Pippo( Topolino nella casa dei fantasmi, in cui appari “rinfrescato”, becco corto, corpo rotondetto, pupille più espressive), dove risaltava il tuo carattere di irascibile attaccabrighe, in Italia Federico Pedrocchi, redattore dei periodici a fumetti della Mondadori , intuì per primo, nel 1937, le tue grandi potenzialità e ti rese protagonista della storia Paolino Paperino e il mistero di Marte pubblicata a puntate su un settimanale a te dedicato; intanto il già citato Taliaferro nelle tavole domenicali stava man mano affinando la tua psicologia, facendoti divenire adulto con l’arrivo dei tre paperotti Qui, Quo, Qua(Huey, Dewey, Louie), figli di tua sorella Della, che te li affida momentaneamente, ma che non ti lasceranno più; colui che comunque ha affinato al meglio il tuo carattere, dotandoti di una personalità complessa, dalle tante sfaccettature psicologiche è stato il grande Carl Barks, permettendoti di levarti di dosso lo stereotipo della pigrizia, rendendoti impegnato in mille mestieri che purtroppo finivi per perdere causa la tua irrazionalità o la tua supponente voglia di strafare, ma anche protagonista di lunghe, splendide storie in giro per il mondo, coinvolto in varie avventure, ora in compagnia dei tre nipotini, ora del ricco zio Paperon de’ Paperoni( Scrooge Mc Duck), che sempre Barks fa esordire nel 1947, così come l’oltraggiosamente fortunato Gastone( Gladstone Gander), il tuo cugino a cui va sempre tutto bene, ma in fondo solo grazie alla Dea bendata, senza alcuno sforzo o sacrificio, quindi senza quelle soddisfazioni che tu riesci ad ottenere rialzandoti dopo ogni caduta, continuando a lottare sperando che la sorte ti arrida.
Tornando in Italia, molti autori hanno preferito puntare sulla tua originaria pigrizia, ma altri hanno saputo trarre profitto dalla lezione barksiana, come Romano Scarpa, Luciano Bottaro o Carpi, il quale nel 1969 ti ha graficamente dotato di una personalità segreta, il mitico Paperinik.
Ti sei mai chiesto, mio caro vecchio amico, quanto noi esseri umani abbiamo potuto identificarci, consolarci, autoassolverci, pensando alla tua straordinaria capacità di uscire in fondo vincente da ogni disavventura, giornata andata storta, qualsiasi grattacapo sopraggiunto all’improvviso, di continuare sempre a sperare che l’ ultimo sogno rimasto nel cassetto non si dissolva alla luce del giorno?
