Kyle Tait reblogged this on M-Braves Clubhouse Report and commented:

According to a Suns press release, former (briefly) Greenville Braves SS Rafael Furcal has joined the Jacksonville Suns for a rehab stint. Furcal played in three double-A games in 2000 for Greenville before getting the call to Atlanta and making his debut April 4 of that year. Per the release, Furcal will likely be with Jacksonville for the next week as he recovers from a left hamstring strain suffered during Spring Training. That means there's a chance--a small chance--he could still be with Jacksonville when they visit the M-Braves on April 30 at Trustmark Park. It's unlikely though unless there's a setback in Furcal's progress.  It's highly doubtful that Furcal would make the long bus ride from Jacksonville to Mississippi, and the Suns are at home until April 28 so that might mark the end of his rehab. -- Kyle Tait is in his fourth season as the radio voice of the Mississippi Braves.
