Hey guys! I finally bit the bullet last night (and this morning) and downloaded a whole bunch of stuff from MTS. I got these two really cool mods:

I do not use any other mods, have the latest patch (1.7), and both of the above mods are working great so far. I actually downloaded the Body Sliders when they were in the development stage, but they have since been released (sometime early today) onto the downloads page on MTS. I would definitely recommend taking a look at them; if they don’t work for you, it’s not my fault!

I also snatched a bunch of CC hair, clothes, eyes, tattoos, etc. so you will likely see (at least some of) this throughout the legacy. Thank you to everyone that posted their creations on MTS–you almost make me want to restart my legacy just so I can go back to CAS! I will not be crediting the CC each time I use it in a picture, but if you made it, you know who you are, and a million thanks continue to go out to you!

Been a long time since I’ve had a normal blog (as opposed to a MySpace blog or Facebook note).  Considering the huge changes that have taken place the last couple of years, and with a little suggestion from a friend or two, I find myself here, ready to take it on again. 

What will the Brain-O-Pj include??  I would imagine the regular run-of-the-mill stuff about relationships, marriage, teenaged step-children, fertility, work, and the random A-ha spiritual awakening type of thing.   As you can see, I also have a lot of links over there for you to explore.  I encourage you to check them out.  Send me some of your own, too.

How regular will it be?  I dunno. Randomly, for now.  Maybe more regular as time goes on and I feel… verbose.  We’ll see.

happy veteran’s day america.

Didn’t write my blog for a while… I am lazy even Aaron updates his blog once every few days. Anyways, not much going on so far for me. I am busy at work and weekend just want to relax and did nothing.

I have tried to bake egg tart and it came out alright.  I think I almost got a right recipe.

I baked the tarts last Wed and they were quite tasty but didn’t look good though.

They looked great but didn’t taste as good as last one. Quite disappointed.  Next time then.

Anatidaephobia – The fear that somehow, somewhere, a duck is watching you.

In the morning, here in Sharjah and Dubai for the first time I have seen such a thick fog. It was damn unrealistic. As I walked down the stairs of my Building entrance, holding my Tiffin-carrying-bag in one hand & iPod in another, fumbling all of them to check time on Nokia 5800 xpressmusic, I see a lot of fog greeting me to this wonderful morning. Am I missing something? Where I am?

It might be the smoke of fire nearby or may be a road mishap, I run to the nearest Road to check if there’s an accident. No, as I look over the road, its fog all over, blurring the far away objects & dimming the lights.  It was a great sight, reminding me of my days I spent in India.  I love fog and I love the winter days cherishing the fog in front of my home, my school playground & college park. I am very fond of fog and my heart has a special connection with it (much like the rain.) Fog reminds me of a Winter season in Punjab, which is like a festive season in itself. Special foods, winter arrangements, thick bed covers & blankets, electric heaters & indigenous developed ones (we call it Agithi in Punjabi) are the mementoes of winters.

I thought fog will be one of the many things that I’ll be missing about India. But apparently its not.  According to the people it rarely fogs here in Dubai, and according to my bus driver it is too early for the fog to be here in Dubai. Well, one of the effects of Climate Change is clearly visible now. It was such a thick fog, that otherwise fast moving traffic of Dubai came to a screeching halt.

Looking forward for more such fogs…

La crisis ha generado, entre otras cosas, la proliferación de esos locales de mala muerte presentados bajo el cartelón amarillo de “Compro Oro”. Me parece increíble como han surgido cuál hongos en todas las esquinas estos negocios, aprovechándose de personas en problemas, apoderándose de valiosas pertenencias por cuatro perras para que puedan salir del paso. En Santiago de Compostela ha abierto uno de estos sitios en Montero Ríos, y cada vez que alzo la vista para ver ese cartel, me recorre un escalofrío por la espalda.

Pero lo peor de todo fue en Madrid. En la Gran Vía, una docena de hombres-anuncio con sendos carteles de la compra del vil metal. ‘Los payos del Oro’, seica se chamaban. Berreando falsas palabras de esperanza, atrayendo a las personas más incautas y desesperadas. Y cuando vi a una pareja de jóvenes entrando en el negocio con uno de esos secuaces, evite pensar lo que pasaría dentro: les cogerían todo el oro que llevasen encima, los forzarían a fornicar a punta de pistola para poder grabar un vídeo porno a su costa, después los drogarían y se encargarían de robarles sus riñones. Finalmente, los violarían a ambos, tras apoderarse de su alma a través de un Brujo africano. Horrible.

Tal vez sea un exagerado, pero detrás de estos negocios creo que se oculta alguien muy, muy poderoso. En un contexto de crisis, en un panorama financierio donde los bancos y las cajas buscan las fusiones, alguien quiere cortar el bacalao a través de las ganancias que puedan obtener de las víctimas de las crisis. Todos los ‘Compro Oro’ de cada ciudad, de cada provincia, se encuentran conectados y reunidos bajo una misma persona. Alguien que ha tenido problemas a la hora de manejar el cotarro de los bancos y se ha quedado fuera. Pero recuerda, esto es sólo una suposición conspiranoica de un chaval desquiciado…¿o no?

SHINee will be down one member after today.  Jonghyun was diagnosed with influenza A H1N1 (Swine Flu) during a visit to the hospital after suffering from cold-like symptoms for 2 nights.  SHINee will continue promotions for Ring Ding Dong as a 4 member ensemble while Jonghyun recovers.

H1N1 has not only hit the K-Pop celebrities, but is definitely spreading around Korea.  According to The Korea Herald, the H1N1 flu alert was raised to it’s highest level yesterday, in all out efforts to contain the spread of the virus.

“All government offices as well as the Health Ministry should be involved in the response efforts against the new flu. They should closely monitor the whole process of the flu response so that the public’s fears could be relieved,” – presidential spokesperson for Lee Myung-bak

This kind of made me laugh – from this day forward, and if you live in South Korea, the purchase of G-Dragon’s Heartbreaker album can only be made by people over the age of 19.  Korea’s Youth Protection Committee declared She’s Gone and Korean Dream as unsuitable for minors because the lyrics of these songs are a bit on the profane side and have underlying meanings that were considered ‘harmful’.  And not only does this committee think that these songs are harmful to all minors, but to the general public as well, therefore they’ve declared that these songs be prohibited from broadcast before 10:00PM.  If radio stations, distributors, or any other media outlets break these rules, the consequences are not pretty.  I’m talking FINES!

YG Entertainment had something to say about this.  They’ve stated that they will respect the decisions made by the Youth Protection Committee, however, modifications to those specific songs will not be made.  And I agree.  G-Dragon’s album has been out since September, and just now is when they decided to analyze his songs?  If they had to analyze a song, it should have been Breathe, which is the track that has the most obvious sexual reference of them all.  >_>

There is so much going on with the SM vs DBSK’s Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun case, that I don’t know where to begin.  And I wont even try.  I just want to say that DBSK, as the same with many other fans out there, were one of the first Korean bands that I ever listened to.  They are one of the most popular bands in Asia, most talented men, and influential group that we know.  It would be a shame to see such talent crumble like this.  I want them to resolve their issues and remain as one.  That’s it.
