I suggested him to log on to the Toronto appliances where he could get the best opportunity to focus on their new appliances. All the products were bought according to your basic needs. There are different colors like white, bisque, black, stainless steel and many more. The features are designed in such a way that they can be easily cleaned.

While cooking, the spilling and dropping can be easily cleaned. The “keep warm” indicator settings help keeping our meals hot. In some models there are two oven racks which enable us to take two dishes at a time. The on-hot indicator light flashes and warns us that the cook top is hot to touch. And if we are not only sleek, but the grilling features also give us an opportunity and an ability to show our skills towards cooking even the largest meals with less effort.

When it comes to tackling everyday stains on carpets, you will be hard pressed to find a more practical way than using a steam cleaner. There is now a wide range available for home use, making the task of keeping your carpet clean much easier.

If you have kids and they are anything like mine they probably make it their, vacuum cleaner, mission, vacuum cleaner, in life to run around your home, vacuum cleaner, leaving track marks on every surface they touch. Despite my constant efforts, I do not always manage to get my daughter to go and play outside: unfortunately this has a knock-on effect which is clearly visible on the carpet. Between the little footprints, food and drink spills, dirt and smudges, vacuum cleaner, of every conceivable variety it is no mean feat to keep your carpet, vacuum cleaner, clean. In an ideal world you would call in the specialist carpet cleaner on a weekly basis to deal with the mess, but this would get very expensive very quickly, vacuum cleaner, . Parents like, vacuum cleaner, you and I are more than likely left trying to clean up the damage on their own. Fortunately help is at hand as nowadays there is a number of good quality steam cleaners readily available on the market.

In this day and age steam cleaners are no longer the exclusivity of dry cleaners. You can now find on the market a reasonable range of steam appliances designed specifically, vacuum cleaner, for the home user. One of the most well known manufacturers that I have come across is Hoover. After my daughter was born my wife and I made the wise, vacuum cleaner, decision to purchase one. It just felt like one of those things that came with the territory: we had heard that “children = stains”. As time as now passed I, vacuum cleaner, can reflect on our decision and confirm that our assumption was correct. No matter how many times you ask them to be careful or not to eat in the living room, somehow stains keep appearing as if by magic. It is rather reassuring to know that you can get rid of 99 percent of them by using a modern steam cleaner. I am yet to find a household stain that resists the steam treatment. Even coffee, which is a tough one, is no match for the appliance.

If you are looking for a steam cleaner you could start your search on Best Buy. The electronics outlet also stocks a range of carpet,, vacuum cleaner, vacuum cleaner, cleaners, as well a full range of vacuums. You can also have a look on the internet: you should be able to find a decent selection of quality steam cleaners at various prices.

Disposable packages are finding application in the household, in the culinary industry, in the tourism that means everywhere where he/she often occurs putting into something the food, small elements, objects which they are dirtying are needed and on that account they cannot be kept without the cover and many different things.
Thanksgiving cooking can be confusing. Especially for those who don’t cook often*. Here are so

Thanksgiving cooking can be confusing. Especially for those who don’t cook often*. Here are some ways to use what you already have to make the day go a little smoother.

1. Calibrate your oven

Your oven’s temperature could be off, causing you to over- or undercook. If you still have it, check your manual for specific instructions on making sure that your oven’s 350 degrees is really 350 degrees.

EHow’s guide “How to Calibrate an Oven” is also good if you ditched your literature.

Use all three racks without rotating.

2. Load up your oven with convection baking

Many people buy a convection oven with holiday cooking in mind, and then forget to use it! If you have true convection or settings that allow multi-rack cooking (the bake and broil element shut off after the preheat), you can put a dish on each rack without having to rotate them.

Just remember to set the temperature 25 degrees below what’s recommended for normal baking.

3. Use convection — in your microwave

If you have a convection microwave, you have a second oven. The 25-degrees-below-normal-bake-temp rule applies here, too.

4. Think beyond popcorn

Many microwaves come with a sensor you can use to automatically adjust cooking power and temperature based on the amount of moisture in the food. Try it on meat, potatoes and vegetables to save time and ensure a perfect dish. Again, check your manual for instructions of how to use your model’s specific features.

Allow 24 hours for an icemaker to refill.

5. Make extra ice

Empty out your icemaker bin into a large, plastic bag and keep it in the freezer 24 hours before your guests arrive. By the time they do, you’ll have a bin full of ice and a cheap refill once that’s gone.

6. Turn on the oven light

The temptation to open the oven and check on your goodies is high, but the temperature won’t be if you do. The oven temperature can drop 25 degrees in just seconds, increasing cooking times and wasting energy. So keep that door shut, already!

7. Remember that meat probe? How ’bout that warming drawer?

Hopefully just reading this jogs the memory of that stuff you have but never remember to use. Many ranges now come with metal probes to stick into a turkey or ham to monitor the temperature, which should hit 180 degrees.

(Note: The probes usually come packaged next to the manual, so they’re probably waiting for you in that same <del datetime="2009-11-24T20:18:53+00:00">junk drawer</del> filing system where you left them.)

And, are you sure that drawer under the oven you use to store pots is only for storage? Some range models include warming drawers, which work great to keep early bird guests’ dishes ready while you finish up the bird.

8. Match pots and pans to burners

Having a tiny pot on a large burner wastes energy and a big post on a tiny burner slows cooking time. Cook smart on the stovetop to shorten cooking times and save energy/money.

For those who "only know how to grill" comes a way to contribute to holiday cooking. (Ha!)

9. Fire up the grill

Grilled turkey tastes great and frees up your oven for everything else. Get creative and use your grill for potatoes, biscuits and pie — and I can vouch for the deliciousness of pie made on the grill.

(Bonus tip: We all know those who don’t cook, but only grill. Now there’s no excuse to not help!)

10. Adjust your refrigerator’s shelves

Remember that shelves can be moved up and down to fit tall items like 2-liter bottles and frozen turkeys. And consider making a short shelf for platters that can’t be stacked. That way you won’t be wasting all that space above the trays.

I’d love to hear more tips if you have them. I just really like the number 10.

*Nearly 4 out of 10 say they use their oven only once a week or less throughout the year, according to a poll of about 1,100 Angie’s List members.

- By Eden Phoenix, Nov. 20th, 2009 There is so much to write about today! Where to begin… I

- By Eden Phoenix, Nov. 20th, 2009

There is so much to write about today! Where to begin…

I’ll just go in the order suggested by the headline.

1) New Additions

There are going to be some pretty exciting new additions to The MagaBlog in coming weeks. Truly!

First of all, as you know, we are expecting a contribution from a News21 journalist any day now. I know we keep teasing with the promise of this article, and (on behalf of The MagaBlog), I apologize for the long wait. The lesson learned by us here is that we shouldn’t post information on specific contributors until we’ve finalized all the dates involved.

Second, we are extremely excited to announce a new permanent contributor will be joining us within the next month or so! We’ll share more news as it arises.

3) Streamlining

We are still experimenting with finding the sweet spot between efficient journalistic convention and the informality of a blog. Bear with us. We are striving to develop a system of tagging, posting, citing, and linking. Some aspects of this are easier than others.

We also have some ultimate “streamlining” goals that we know it will take a while to achieve.

Allow you to begin following us on twitter from our homepage

Provide tabs that will take you to specific posts, sorted by category. We want to do this in the same way that the homepage would, not like pages would. Think sections of a newspaper.

Create our own “Theme.” I know: that was vague.

Set up a system that would allow temporary contributors to contribute an article, without having the same level and permanence of access to The MagaBlog as the permanent contributors.

Purchase a domain name that would allow us to remove the ” .wordpress” from our URL.

(Our most fun, and difficult goal) Be able to @reply people from within the text of a post. How fun would that be!?

3) Expanding Our Range

We definitely want to add more types of posts to The MagaBlog. We would love to be able to post critiques, political analysis, etc. without losing our focus as a blog about social media.

I know we’ve written a lot about Twitter, but we have been studying up on many other social media-related topics. We’re looking into Digg, YouTube, Facebook Video, LinkedIn, various blog sites (WordPress, Blogspot, etc.), The Huffington Post, Del.icio.us, and more. While we have been aware, we are observing and analyzing tradition and innovation regarding the qualities they posses and how they are used. The reason these posts take so long is due to the wide array of topics we can explore rather than a lack of suitable topics.

4) Information

The “Broadway (R)evolution” article will be up just as soon as we can possibly get it up. It may take a week or so.

Feel free to post responses or help to us regarding anything in this post or in any other.

As a side note: Please don’t think we’re being prissy if you see that we’ve typed “theatre,” and please don’t think we’re poorly edited if you see the words “theatre” and “theater” within the same post. “Theatre” signifies the dramatic arts while “theater” denotes the physical structure that serves as a venue for the dramatic arts. Theatre is probably going to become a large sub-focus of The MagaBlog in some way. You learn something new every day, I suppose. Kudos to those who knew already!

I did as planned for Saturday morning. I queued outside H&M to avail of the limited edition Jimmy Choo products on offer. I arrived at 08.00 to find an orderly queue of around two hundred – most of whom were women – snaked around the corner of South King Street. Anticipation filled the air; it were as if the crowd might suddenly break into a sprint. The line contained just a few men accompanied by girlfriends. The best pickings of Jimmy Choo’s men’s range were as good as mine, I thought. My brother, Catherine and I waited patiently in the drizzling rain, making chit chat with some of the others in the queue.

At 09.00 the doors of the store swung open. The queue slithered at a quick pace until it was consumed by the entrance. In mere seconds, the ground floor of H&M descended into chaos. Countless women bounded for the centre of the shop, rummaging and throwing garments aside. Many grabbed anything they could, paying no heed to size or colour. I have since learned that a member of staff received a kick in the back by an aggressive customer. I am grateful to have given the lady-shoppers as wide a berth I did. I left Catherine to her sorority of fashion-enthusiasts. I made my way to the refuge of the men’s section. As the Bro and I descended on the escalator, I briefed him on the rules of engagement.

At the foot of the stairs was the Jimmy Choo range. It easily stood out from H&M’s regular collection. The clothes were adorned with lush, royal blue tags. The shiny, blue stacks of shoe boxes were a sight to behold. On my wish list was a leather jacket and suit. I rushed to the suits to secure my size. I quickly learned there were limited sizes on offer. I tried on a jacket. It was a little baggy. I opted for a thirty six waist trousers instead of a thirty four. Unfortunately, the men’s changing room had become an overflow to the women’s. There was no possibility I could try my suit on. My Bro suggested I strip in a quiet corner of the store, if I were desperate. I did consider it for a moment. The Bro and I separated to find the leather jackets.

“Find the leather jackets in size large!” I instructed him firmly. “Grab one in black and brown, if they have both colours!”

Minutes later, after no success, I scanned the increasing number of bodies to locate him. His eyes met mine.

“Any luck with the jacket?”

“Is that them?” He pointed to some shabby looking, fake leather jackets.

Frustrated, I glanced around the men’s section. Suddenly, it was obvious that this little island of fancy clothes and shoe boxes was the entirety of the Jimmy Choo men’s range. Only one third of the men’s range was on sale. There were no jeans, scarves or jackets. I located a member of staff.

“Hi, can you tell me where the leather jackets are?”

A young – and quite attractive – guy with a British accent shrugged. “Sorry, mate. This is the extent of it. They sent no leather jackets.”

“Oh!” I responded. Young, Sexy Shop Assistant turned to accommodate a pushy customer.

I stood there a little dumbstruck. What was I to do with the remaining few hundred euro I budgeted to spend? Catherine appeared from nowhere out of the bustling group of men. She carried a few items. I recognised a grey dress from coverage of the celebrity launch party earlier that week.

“How did you get on?” she asked in expectation.

“There are no leather jackets, Catherine! I am disappointed. What do you have?”

“I got these,” she replied as she held out her prizes. Two dresses draped from hangers. “I like this grey dress, but it’s not my size. It’s expensive. This other dress is pretty much all I could get. I am not mad on it either.”

We concluded she would not purchase either dress. She was not completely happy. She hung both Jimmy Choo dresses on a rail. Both garments were pilfered within seconds.

“What do you think of my suit, Catherine?”

She looked about my person. “Where is it?”

My brother howled with laughter.

“I’m wearing it now,” I said dismissively. “You are obviously astounded by its fabulousness.”

We all laughed.

“Is it a little big for you?” This question was put gently.

I turned to the mirror. I made an assessment of its size. A nearby woman advised the suit was a “fine” fit. My doubts were quashed. On the way to the pay point I stumbled over one or two shoe boxes that carelessly littered the floor. Maybe shoes would cater to the void my leather jacket would have so perfectly filled. I opened a shoe box to find a brown pair of suede boots. A second box contained the same.

“I hate suede,” I said to Catherine as I opened yet another box. “Behold! More suede boots.”

I reached for my fifth box. I could sense my brother’s impatience. There was no horrid suede boots. This box contained a pair of breathtakingly beautiful, black, leather boots. I gasped. I placed a hand to my chest.

Young, Sexy Shop Assistant reappeared in front of me. “Try them on,” he said (in probably less a provocative manner than I recall).

A good looking man need never instruct me twice. I sat on a display shelf and wedged my wide foot into the boot. They fit perfectly. I strutted up and down the shop, wearing one boot.

“I’m taking them,” I announced aloud. “And I am taking this Jimmy Choo wallet too.”

I proceeded to the pay point. Young, Sexy Shop Assistant had just opened a till (especially for me). He beckoned me forward. We made conversation as he meticulously folded the suit.

“You’re very lucky to find these boots,” he said. “These were the most popular item of the range.”

I lapped up the attention as I handed over my cash, momentarily considering suggestively throwing it at him.

Leaving the store, I felt good. I had just flirted outrageously with a sexy guy and bought some Jimmy Choo threads. I can’t exactly recall how I vacated the store; it may have been on a large, white, fluffy cloud.

Back at home, Boyfriend failed to conceive the idea of owning such amazing footwear. Nor did his basic mind grasp my suggestion I was now out of his league.

“I own Jimmy Choo boots,” I advised him. “The stakes are much higher now.”

He did not respond.

Boyfriend will not cease pestering me to remove the boots from the middle of the floor in the living room. They are a focal point; to be admired by all. Someday, I might have to wear them outdoors, but for the moment I desire to savour the perfection that is my black Jimmy Choo boots.

Tyco Electronics has announced the addition of an industry-standard 0603 device to its line of surface-mount Polyswitch devices. The FemtoSMDC016F device consumes less than half the board space of prior-generation devices and helps protect sensitive electronics from damage caused by over-current and over-temperature events. The device’s fast time to trip and resettable functionality can help manufacturers reduce warranty costs and improve reliability of portable electronics such as: mobile phones, MP3 players, PDAs, digital cameras, portable computers, Flash drives, USB thumb drives, LCDs and computer peripherals.

The Polyswitch FemtoSMDC016F device provides a smaller footprint than other surface-mount devices – measuring 1.6mm x 0.8mm x 0.5mm. This offers flexibility in space-constrained applications. Rated at 9V, the device provides a hold current of 0.16A, a maximum fault current rating of 40A and a maximum resistance of 4.2ohm. The FemtoSMDC device’s low power dissipation and fast time to trip (0.10s at +25C and 1A) make it a logical solution for high-density board designs. The FemtoSMDC016F device is terminated with nickel-tin finish and is compatible with high-volume assembly processes. The EIA-compliant device is halogen free, RoHS compliant and UL and CSA certified. Production quantities are now available in tape and reel packages.
