The work of the Spirit in the heart is as indispensable as was the work of Christ on the Cross. The necessity for the Spirit’s inward and effective operations are from the darkness, depravity and spiritual emptiness of fallen human nature. He alone can discover to us our dire need of Christ, convict us of our lost and ruined condition, create within us a hatred and horror of sin, bring us to consent to Christ’s sceptre, and make us willing in the day of His power to take Christ’s yoke upon us. By nature we are totally averse to holiness, and from birth have been accustomed to doing evil only. It is impossible for us to take into the arms of our affection a holy Christ until the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus first takes hold of us. Moreover, there is a transcendency in spiritual things which far exceeds the highest flight of natural reason. Nature stands in need of grace in order for the heart to be rightly disposed to receive the things of God, and no human culture or education can effect that. A Gospel which comes to us from Heaven can only be savingly known by an inward revelation from Heaven. The Gospel is a revelation of Divine grace, such as had never entered the heart of man to conceive, still less is it capable of comprehending it—their Author must apply it to the heart. – A. W. Pink

“Supernatural SIGNS”

The hour is late. The stage is set for the grand entrance of the antichrist to begin the countdown to Armageddon. We are on the brink of the Great Tribulation spoken of by Jesus 2000 years ago. The timing of the Apocalypse hinges on the revealing of the lawless one. Is he already in power? Has he begun pulling the levers of world politics to bring in global governance? Are there supernatural signs we can discern that point to him as the beast?

In accordance with Amos 3:7, God has not been silent. The unsealing of the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation is gathering pace even as the world hurtles towards the end of days at breakneck speed. God has spoken to many watchers in a multiplicity of ways — dreams & visions, insights & understanding of prophetic scriptures, and numbers & gematria. In this article, I want to share with you a few numbers that will totally blow you away. They originate from the most surprising of sources. The supernatural signs wrought by these numbers are only possible because God is able to order events and exercise sovereign control over the affairs of man. He is still the Boss.

SIGN #1: Lot 666

On the day Obama won the election and became the most powerful man in the world, the Illinois pick 3 lottery drawn was 666. (Obama was a senator of Illinois before election.) Many believe this is a SIGN. The sceptics, however, are none too impressed by this 666 lottery and poo poo the believers who seem to them to make much ado about nothing.

I dug a little deeper and came away convinced that this is indeed a sign from God. I did a search on past winning numbers and was shocked at what I found in the table below (see link).

The figures went as far back as 1980, presumably the year the pick 3 lottery or its records started. There were four 666 pick 3 winnings in 2008 — the year Obama got elected as the president of the United States! The last 666 winning number came out in the evening draw Nov 5, 2008, several hours after Obama won the election in the early hours on the same day. The frequency of the 666 pick in 2008 is unusually high compared to all other years, including 2009, which registers zero count so far.

Forget about math, statistics and probability. Just think with common sense. Why was there such an unusually high concentration of 666 winnings in Obama’s home state in 2008, the year he won the election? Out of the 366 days in 2008, of all days, why on the same day when Obama became president-elect, the 666 number was picked?

Why?

As I dug deeper, I became more and more astounded by the 666 lottery. If I didn’t know better, I would have attributed the enigma either to super-powerful global controllers or super-intelligent extraterrestrials, pulling strings from behind the scenes. But instead, I believe God has a hand in it. Consider this: The time of the evening draw is 9:22 p.m. (link), exactly 562 minutes after twelve noon. When 562 is added to the English gematria of OBAMA (60+2+1+40+1=104), the sum is 562 + 104 = 666 !!!

More coincidence of course!

Midday draws are at 12:40 p.m., or 40 minutes after twelve noon. Of the four 666 picks in 2008, THREE were drawn in the evening and ONE at midday; thus, the total duration in minutes after twelve noon is 562 + 562 + 562 + 40 = 1726.

I fell out of my chair when I saw the number!

1726 is the English gematria value of US PRESIDENT (933) BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA (793) !!!!!! Four 666 picks were drawn at the PRECISE time to point to just one man, with the last 666 pick culminating on the day he won the election. Think about that.

Is this even possible?

But with God all things are possible. If we further consider the four mornings we excluded when we computed 1726, the total duration of the four mornings is 4 × 720 = 2880 minutes. This unbelievable total is the English gematria sum of US PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA (1154) and US PRESIDENT BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA (1726) !!!!!!

If God can open the mouth of Balaam’s donkey to convey His words, what makes you think He cannot use the lottery to send a message?

SIGN #2: Ye Rich Men, Weep and Howl

Shortly after Obama assumed office on Jan 20, 2009, an intriguing list of the world’s richest people published by FORBES (link) caught my eye:

The richest people in the world have gotten poorer, just like the rest of us. This year the world’s billionaires have an average net worth of $3 billion, down 23% in 12 months. The world now has 793 billionaires, down from 1,125 a year ago.
At the time of publication in March this year, the total number of billionaires in 2009 stood at 793. Observe that it is neither 792 or 794; it is 793 – the exact English gematria of BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA !!!

The ‘coincidence’ is uncanny to say the least. But does it qualify to be a supernatural sign? Is it a valid sign or is it just an insignificant happenstance? When I took a relook at the FORBES figures, a sudden realization dawned on me ………..   In 2009, there are 793 billionaires, a significant drop from the 2008 figure, which is 1125, thanks to the financial crisis.

When I saw the number 1125, I fell out of my chair a second time!

The number 1125 did not mean a thing to me two months ago. I became acquainted with it only recently when I made my major discovery in the Genesis 1:1 Pyramid (link). The secret hidden in the G-Pyramid contains startling information on the election of Barack Hussein Obama (793), the 44th president of the United States in 2008. This ancient secret had been buried in the stones for six thousand years and only saw the light of day after its recent fulfillment. The errie precision of the code makes your hair stand on end. The man, the date, the year, down to the 56th term of office he is currently serving, are dead on.

Apparently six thousand years ago God already knew about the FORBES’ lists of world’s richest people for 2008 and 2009. But this is no big deal for the Omniscient. It is interesting that the billionaire figures are encoded in the OBAMA cluster in such a way as to suggest that he is the money lord of the world. Concerning the antichrist’s theft of the wealth of nations, Isaiah says, “And my hand hath found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one gathereth eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.” (Isa 10:14)

The fact that knocks me over and blows me away is this: The black stone 793 (BHO) in the above pyramid illustration is in fact the blue stone 1125 !!!

The FORBES billionaire figures for 2008 and 2009 are both captured in one fell swoop on one stone — the OBAMA stone! To top it all, the black vertical line (illustration above)  representing the 56th column (56th term of presidential office) passes through the blue stones 2008 and 2009 !!!

Can it be any clearer? Can we find a more fortuitous set of circumstances, events or people that can generate such a precise fit?

Just like SIGN #1, the confirmation provided by SIGN #2 linking the OBAMA code in the Genesis Pyramid and the 1125 billionaires in 2008 & 793 billionaires in 2009, is unquestionably supernatural. Only the all-knowing God is able to foresee the future few thousand years ahead of time and conceal the information in advance for us to search out.

But what do the numbers point to other than the fact that Obama is somehow connected to the world’s richest people?

The simple equation below should dispel all doubts as to the intent of the code.

2008 = 883 + 1125
As reported by FORBES, there were 1125 billionaires in 2008. The difference between the year and the head count is 2008 – 1125 = 883. Is it serendipity, or pure randomness, or synchronicity, or whatever godless New Age mumbo-jumbo currently in vogue, or maybe just plain weirdness, that 883 just happens to be the English gematria of THE ANTICHRIST?

Go figure.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION ABOUT IT !

The lawless one is about to be revealed, doves. Just hang on a while longer and our excruciating wait will be over. But, meanwhile, fight the good fight of  faith, lay hold on eternal life, continue to occupy and put up with the flood of evil sweeping across the globe everywhere. It cannot be much longer. God’s patience is fast running out. He will not and cannot strive with reprobate men continually. Of this you can be sure: These men have exceeded the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah many times over.

Welcome back, brothers and sisters!!! 

Today we are going to discuss the parable of the ten virgins and the bridegroom.  Jesus was talking to His disciples about be ready for the last day when He shared the following parable:

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight there was a cry made, ‘Behold, the bridegroom cometh;  go ye out to meet him.’  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.”

“And the foolish said unto the wise, ‘Give us of your oil;  for our lamps are gone out.’  But the wise answered, saying, ‘Not so;  lest there be not enough for us and you:  but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.’  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came;  and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage:  and the door was shut.”

“Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’  But he answered and said, ‘Verily I say unto you, I know you not.” – Matthew 25:1-12 (KJV)

Brothers and sisters, the message of this parable is very sobering.  Let’s break this parable down and discuss the thrust of the message.

First of all, cast in the role of the bridegroom is the one and only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ.  The ten virgins represent us, believers and non-believers.

Okay, so now that we know the cast, what is the tie-in to the oil and the lamps?  That’s simple, actually.  Why do we need lamps?  Lamps help us to see where we are going, right?  We are blinded when we are surrounded by darkness.

The lamps, beloved, represent our spirits/souls.  Why do I say this?  Consider the following scripture:

“The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly.” – Proverbs 20:27 (KJV)

So if the lamp represents our soul/spirit, what does the oil represent?  The oil represents the Holy Spirit, which is attained through Christ Jesus.  Remember, beloved, that though Jesus is not present with us physically on earth anymore, He lives here in our hearts through the Holy Spirit.  This is the same Holy Spirit that God the Father filled Jesus, His only begotten Son, with after He was baptized by John the Baptist.  Brothers and sisters, Jesus Christ is also known as the Light of the World.  Having His light in us, we can rejoice in knowing that our lamps will be lit and shining brightly at the moment that Jesus comes for us.

You see, beloved, the Holy Spirit is the oil that shines brightly enough that all can see our light, which is the presence of the Lord in our hearts.  How can people see that light?  Well, let’s look at the type of light that the Holy Spirit emanates, as described by the Apostle Paul:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance:  against such there is no law.” - Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

You see, beloved, when we live in Christ, we are to be faithful and obedient servants of that which He blesses and graces us with.  Frankly, the manner in which we live should be a strong witness for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.  Remember, brothers and sisters, as His servants, our lives should be lived in such a manner as to reflect to others our service to our Lord and Savior.  That means we are to let the Lord’s light shine through us for all to see.  Jesus said the following about this:

“Ye are the light of the world.  A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick;  and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14-16 (KJV)

Beloved, the 5 virgins that heed the Lord’s word, and live by it, are those that He will find doing His work when He returns for His bride, which is the church.  The church is comprised of all those who have accepted salvation given by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  Only those that have Christ in them will be called home to be with the Lord.  Those that do not have Christ in them have souls/spirits filled with darkness instead of light.  Since there will be no light found in such people, they will be passed over when the believers are called home.  Consider the parable of the ten virgins, and listen to what Jesus said would happen when He calls His servants home:

“Then shall two be in the field;  the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Two women shall be grinding at the mill;  the one shall be taken, and the other left.  Watch therefore;  for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.  Therefore be ye also ready:  for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.  Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?  Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.  Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.  But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, ‘My lord delayeth his coming’;  and shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;  The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites:  there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” – Matthew 24:40-51 (KJV)

Brothers and sisters, no one knows when Jesus will return.  Jesus Himself said that only the Father knows the appointed hour.  The point is that we are supposed to constantly live our lives doing the work of our Lord and Savior so that in that “twinkling of an eye” when Jesus does return, we are found as faithful and obedient servants, diligently doing His work and will.

Unfortunately, beloved, there are many that live without Christ in their hearts.  They do not have the oil of the Holy Spirit burning brightly within them and emanating His light in their lives.  This, brothers and sisters, is all the more reason for us to constantly have our lamps lit with the oil of the Holy Spirit.  By sharing, embracing, and living the Lord’s word and love, we will be more effective in shining His light through the darkness in order to reach those that are presently lost.  Just as we were once lost before being found, we are incredibly blessed with the opportunity to help gather many of our Shepherd’s lost “sheep” by lighting up the path that will lead them home to Him.  This is our mission, beloved, and the time is now to carry it out.

No one should take for granted that the Lord will not come back for “x” amount more time.  We simply do not know the Lord’s return date and time, as only the Father knows.  Jesus could return in 5,000 years, 5 months, 5 weeks, 5 days, or in the next 5 seconds.  Regardless of how long it is until Jesus returns, we need to commit ourselves to doing His work every single day of our lives.  When He returns for us, let’s bless and glorify Him by meeting Him with as many well-oiled lamps as possible!!!

I would like to ask each and every person taking part in today’s discussion a few questions.  If the Lord Jesus Christ were to return in the next few seconds, would you be ready?  Would the Lord find your lamp lit brightly by the oil of the Holy Spirit?  Just as importantly, are you confident and assured that all of your family, friends, and loved ones would be found ready if Jesus were to return in the next few seconds?  Are you confident that hte majority of people in this world are ready to meet the Lord?

Let’s be honest, beloved.  There are a great many people that are not yet ready to meet Jesus Christ.  If Jesus were calling His faithful servants home today, an incredibly large number of people would be among those left behind.  Evidence of this can be found all throughout the world today.  Just turn on the 6 o’clock news, or go for a drive through the city, and you will see that much of humanity is spiritually lost and adrift at sea, without boat or life jacket.  This, brothers and sisters, is the urgency of our mission.  Just as with the 5 foolish virgins, those who are not ready to meet the Lord when He calls His faithful home will find out the harsh reality that the time for making the decision to commit their lives to Him has passed.

Beloved, ask the Lord for the endurance, strength, perseverance, and courage to work tirelessly to share His love and His word with as many people as possible.  The Lord will give you the words and the guidance you need through the Holy Spirit.  The time is now, beloved, for us to increase our staffing levels of faithful and obedient servants to take part in the Lord’s harvest.  Let’s get to work!!!

If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but you would like to, please pray the following prayer:

“Lord God Almighty, I know that I am a sinner and that I am lost.  I know that I need to be saved from sin, but I also know that I can’t save myself.  Lord Jesus, I know that only You can save me.  I know that you paid for my salvation with your own life and blood on the cross.  I know that when You rose from the grave on the third day, you provided everlasting life to all who trust in You.  Right now, I lay down my life and let go of my pride, my vanity and every other sin that has kept me from You.  Lord Jesus, I now completely trust my life to You.  I open my heart to You, Lord.  Please come into my heart.  Please forgive me of all of my sins, and please accept me as Your child.  From this point on, I commit my life to You.  Please guide me and provide me strength as I begin to live the rest of my life for You.  In Your precious and matchless name I pray.  Amen.”

Beloved, if you just prayed that prayer then you can rejoice in knowing that you now have the presence of the Lord in your heart.  While you will still face trials and tribulation in this world, you will never again face it alone.  Nurture your new relationship with the Lord and grow that relationship by getting to know Him better.  You can do this by studying His word (the bible), while also making talking to Him continually through prayer made with thanksgiving and supplication.  All you have to do to find out what the Lord had in mind for your life when He made you is to ask Him to shape your life in manner in which serves His will and then embrace the changes that He makes in you and your life.  Welcome to the family, beloved!!!  You are precious in your Heavenly Father’s eyes, and the angels in heaven are rejoicing in your decision to accept Christ Jesus as your Lord and Savior:-)  We are happy to have you!!!

“To Ron Reese — I must disagree”

I must disagree with your interpretation of the timing of the Rapture based upon the Joseph narrative.  I too enjoy Biblical typology and have looked into the possible types connected to Joseph.

Please note that Joseph already had a Gentile bride in the narrative.  Therefore, it is unlikely that his brothers also represent the Church.  If you read my post, you will see that I believe that the brothers are types for the 144,000 Jews, since they are the patriarchs of the 12 Tribes of Israel.  Their father Jacob is a type of Israel – which makes sense because God changed his name to Israel.

Logistically, the 144,000 Jews must come to the Lord prior to the nation Israel – to whom they will be witnessing.  Thus, the 2 and 5 year division of the 7 famine years could represent the point in the Tribulation when the they are sealed.

For reasons I will not get into here, I believe that there is a 10 year timeframe from the time of the Rapture to the Second Coming.  Consequently, I do not think we have to squeeze everything prior to a 2015 deadline.

Look, even if 2015 is a Jubilee year, you must remember that the fulfillment of the Year of Jubilee must be, by definition, one year long.  Therefore, the Second Coming cannot be the fulfillment of Jubilee.  At most, it could be an event that wraps up the Year.

I personally put Jubilee earlier in the Tribulation.  The Bible clearly states that Jesus begins to reign at the blowing of the Seventh Trumpet.  See Revelation 11:15-17.  This is at the mid-point of the Tribulation and prior to the Second Coming.  We are also given this statement in Revelation 10:7:  “But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”

Jesus beginning His reign?  The mystery of God being accomplished?  This sure sounds like a good candidate for the start of the Year of Jubilee to me.

Ron, I do not doubt your sincerity and personal sacrifice.  I fear, however, that you have gotten yourself so married to a 2015 Second Coming that you are jamming a square peg into a round hole.  You have officially started the Tribulation and talked yourself out of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture just to keep your position alive.  The events of the book of Revelation are not even remotely chronological to you.  And now you seem to be playing fast and loose with Biblical types.

If you need to do all of these things to make your position work, then maybe you need to reassess your position.  None of us are 100 percent correct.  And you are among friends here.  It is okay to admit that some things may need to be tweaked.

I do not intend to be harsh or to offend you.  But I believe you know that you have an impact on the opinions of many people – not just on this forum.  That is a grave responsibility.  Sure, a stopped watch could be a sign from God.  But I find that a position’s consistency with the Biblical text to be the ultimate proof that the position is of God.

Ron has written a very good letter concerning Genesis Chapter 45.  The following points are things that I agree with Ron.

1)             Barack Hussein Obama is the Antichrist.

2)             The church will be present in the world to know the identity of the Antichrist. This is already a partial fait accompli thanks to John and all the other doves that have presented this evidence and to the Holy Spirit who works in all believers to recognize the Antichrist without the need to prove it as it has been done in fivedoves.

3)             The church is going to be removed before the sudden destruction.

4)             We both agree in the significance of the solar and lunar eclipses dates found by Pastor Mark Biltz as interviewed by J.R. Church, and the link obtained in BG Ellis site.

I do not have any disagreement with his letter although at this point I am not 100 % sure that the October 29, 2008 Obama covenant is the seven year covenant referred to in Daniel.

The comparison to the seven years of famine can be correct in my opinion even if the start of the tribulation is not on date of October 29, 2008.

One thing I want to point out about a type in the Old Testament that I think has a direct link to our time is Genesis 19

¹ The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city. When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground. ² “My lords,” he said, “please turn aside to your servant’s house. You can wash your feet and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning.”
“No,” they answered, “we will spend the night in the square.”

³ But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. ⁴ Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—surrounded the house. ⁵ They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them.”

¹² The two men said to Lot, “Do you have anyone else here—sons-in-law, sons or daughters, or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, ¹³ because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it.”

¹⁴ So Lot went out and spoke to his sons-in-law, who were pledged to marry ^[a] his daughters. He said, “Hurry and get out of this place, because the LORD is about to destroy the city!” But his sons-in-law thought he was joking.

¹⁵ With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished.”

¹⁶ When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. ¹⁷ As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

The Lord referred to this in Luke Chapter 17

²⁶“Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. ²⁷People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

²⁸“It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. ²⁹But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

³⁰“It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. ³¹On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. ³²Remember Lot’s wife! ³³Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. ³⁴I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. ³⁵Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.”^[d]

Please notice that the two angels could be a type of the two witnesses who were sent with the purpose of warning Lot and his family of the impending judgment. They were sent to destroy the cities and to warn the just.

So my question keeps insisting in my head, where are the two witnesses? The answers that some doves have given are appreciated, but I do not believe that they are correct.

Welcome back, brothers and sisters!!!

Today we are going to discuss the parable of the wedding banquet.  This is a parable that Jesus spoke to the chief priests and Pharisees of the temple.  The parable is as follows:

“The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, whcih made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding:  and they would not come.  Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, ‘Tell them which are bidden, ‘Behold, I have prepared my dinner:  my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready:  come unto the marriage.”  But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:  And the remnant took his servants, and intreated them spitefully, and slew them.”

“But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth:  and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.  Then saith he to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.  Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.’  So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good:  and the wedding was furnished with guests.”

“And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there was a man which had not on a wedding garment:  And he saith unto him, ‘Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment?’  And he was speechless.  Then said the king to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness;  there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’  For many are called, but few are chosen.” – Mattew 22:2-14 (KJV)

Brothers and sisters, let’s break down the parable, staring with the cast.

The king of the parable represents God the Father.  The son that the king has arranged a marriage for is Jesus Christ.  The bride to be is the church of Christ, which is all who live in the Lord.  The servants that were sent out to invite the guests represent the prophets.  The first group of guests that was repeatedly invited was the Israelites, God’s chosen people.  Remember, that though many prophets were respected and revered for a time, they usually ended up being persecuted/killed by the very people they were trying to reach with God’s message.

The second group of guests are the Gentiles, or the non-Jews.  When the Jewish people repeatedly rejected the Father, His word, and ultimately Jesus Christ and the Gospel He shared, the Gentiles were blessed with the opportunity to receive the Gospel and to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior while also receiving the gift of salvation that is found only in the only begotten Son of God.

Why was the one guest in the parable cast into outer darkness for not having on a wedding garment?  The answer is simple.  Do you know what the wedding garment is that the guests were to be clothed with?  Consider the following scripture:

“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God;  for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.” – Isaiah 61:10 (KJV)

You see, beloved, in order to attend the marriage of the Lamb of God, we must be attired appropriately.  We know that the only person we can get the appropriate attire from is Jesus Christ.  Why?  Through Jesus our sins are washed away, our hearts are purified, and we are clothed with the robe of righteousness.  The person in the parable without the robe of righteousness was a person that had not given their life to Jesus Christ, and was subsequently not wearing the necessary robe of righteousness.  Therefore, the inappropriately attired guest offended the king (God the Father). 

Brothers and sisters, there are people in this world who call themselves Christians, yet Christ is not found anywhere in them.  Such people often assume that going to church, periodically praying, and sometimes reading the bible and quoting chapter and verse is sufficient.  These are usually people that rejoice in sin Monday through Saturday, while attempting to live a Christian life on Sunday.  These are referred to as Sunday Christians, or Convenient Christians, and they do not have a place at the Lord’s table.  Why?  Beloved, Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior 365 days/year and 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Likewise, we are to be His servants at all times as well, living obediently and faithfully in serving Him.  Unfortunately, some are not sincere in their service to the Lord.  Jesus spoke of such people when He said the following about the day of judgment:

“Not everyone that saith unto Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;  but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?  and in thy name have cast out devils?  and in thy name done many wonderful works?’  And then I will profess unto them, ‘I never knew you:  depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.” – Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)

You see, beloved, while we can fool our fellow man into believing that we are someone we are not, God always knows who we are.  God knows our hearts and knows all there is to possibly know about us.  A few acts, or a few words, do not make a faithful and obedient servant in Christ.  A faithful and obedient servant of the Lord lives in service to Him at all times, while also having the Lord in his/her heart at all times.  We love His word, regularly study it, and He writes it into our hearts.  We take every opportunity to share the Lord’s love and word with anyone we can reach.  We are never ashamed to confess to others that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, and Jesus is not ashamed of presenting us to the Father and speaking on our behalf.  Beloved, let’s live Christ in our lives all day, every single day.  Let’s study His word regularly as diligent students, and let’s do His work always as faithful and obedient servants are to do.  The Lord has already given us everything by blessing us with the gift of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  Let’s show Him how much we appreciate His sacrifice, His love, and His forgiveness by doing His work and will unceasingly and with a glad heart.

Beloved, if you have not yet received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, but you would sincerely like to, then please pray the following prayer:

“Lord God Almighty, I know that I am a sinner and that I am lost.  I know that I need to be saved from sin, but I also know that I can’t save myself.  Lord Jesus, I know that only You can save me.  I know that you paid for my salvation with your own life and blood on the cross.  I know that when You rose from the grave on the third day, you provided everlasting life to all who trust in You.  Right now, I lay down my life and let go of my pride, my vanity and every other sin that has kept me from You.  Lord Jesus, I now completely trust my life to You.  I open my heart to You, Lord.  Please come into my heart.  Please forgive me of all of my sins, and please accept me as Your child.  From this point on, I commit my life to You.  Please guide me and provide me strength as I begin to live the rest of my life for You.  In Your precious and matchless name I pray. Amen.”

I you just prayed that prayer, honestly seeking the Lord, then you are now saved.  The robe of righteousness is now available unto you, and though you will still face adversity in this world, you now have the Lord with you to face and overcome anything that comes your way.  Nurture your relationship with the Lord by talking to Him often through prayer with thanks and supplication, while also studying His word.  Ask the Lord to guide your every path, and follow the path that He sets before you.  You no longer serve the sins and lusts of this world.  Your chains that tied you to the things of this world have now been broken.  Serve the Lord with all your heart, and always seek His will in all things.  Welcome to the family:-)  Know that the angels in heaven are rejoicing at your decision to give your life to the Lord!!!

The 2012 movie came out on November 13. It was the number one movie in gross sales in its first week making $65 million. As a global disaster film of epic proportions, we wonder if the science fiction scenarios the movie depicts are purely fictional. Could it be that the science fiction is a portent of plausible future outcomes?

I found the movie to be engaging and highly entertaining. I saw it as a kind of video game. The lead character spends the whole movie dodging falling buildings, volcanic fireballs, and crumbling streets and runways.

I had no doubt he and his family would be there at the end along with, of course, the dog. So I see the movie as a kind of unwitting comedy.

The 2012 movie has the potential for negative cultural influence in two ways. In the first case, some people may take it as a credible foreshadowing of how 2012 will actually unfold.

Part of the promotion campaign for the movie was a website featuring a totally fictional Institute of Human Continuity where people could ostensibly sign up for a survival lottery. It’s clear the movie makers are trying to cash in on people’s fears of 2012.

In the second case, as a disinformation vehicle, the 2012 movie has the potential to reduce the whole 2012 phenomenon to ridicule. Then we are at risk of discounting the real challenges we face in the 2012 time.

In the interest of a grounded and realistic perspective on 2012, let’s look at some of the things the movie gets wrong. The movie makes some passing reference to the Mayan calendar which, as recorded on one monument, famously ends abruptly on December 21, 2012.

But there is no evidence at all that the Mayans predicted the world was going to end on December 21, 2012. The countdown to doomsday scenario is not in the Mayan record anywhere.

The Mayans just pointed their finger at the end of a great 25,800 year cycle. Starting with Jose Arguelles in his 1987 book, the Mayan Factor, it is modern humanity that has brought the issue of 2012 as a problematic time to prominence.

The dates for the earth change disasters are unclear in the movie. They ramp up starting in 2009 and it seems to all happen before the December 21, 2012 date.

The trigger is said to be the effect of neutrinos from the sun that somehow start behaving differently. Rather than passing through matter, the neutrinos engage with the earth core and heat up the core to the point where the crust becomes unstable.

The movie references the galactic alignment coming in 2012 where the plane of our solar system will intersect the center of the galaxy. This is supposed to somehow affect the sun which in turn affects the earth.

The neutrino idea is a movie gadget without even a hint of scientific plausibility. A basic change in elementary particle physics is not what we can expect from 2012.

It is true that scientists predict an increase in sun spot activity peaking in 2013. But this is just part of the normal cycle of solar activity. Sun spots have only a minor disruptive effect on our planet.

My clairvoyant reading is that we are not facing any sort of astronomically sourced catastrophic earth changes in the 2012 time. This reading falls in line with the best scientific information currently available.

Scientists tell us, and I clairvoyantly concur, that the sun’s output should be stable for at least another one billion years. My reading is we are not facing any major earth changes for the next 10,000 years.

And what’s happening in 10,000 years? My clairvoyant perspective is there will then be a change in magnetic polarity. But this pole reversal won’t have a devastating effect on the planet at that time.

The alignment with the galaxy center is a real astronomical event but seeing it as a countdown to doomsday makes no rational sense. This is an event which happens every 25,800 years as a result of the precession of the equinoxes. In the history of our planet, it has happened thousands of times before and the earth is still intact.

If there was some major planetary devastation happening on a regular 26,000 year cycle, it would certainly show up in the fossil record. There is simply no evidence at all this is true.

Is 2012 phenomenon then a kind of Y2K false alarm? In some ways 2012 repeats the millennial worst case scenarios where people thought the world would drastically change when 1999 became 2000.

In the case of both Y2K and 2012, some real event acts as an anchor for people’s projections. In Y2K it was the computer problem with the 2000 date and in 2012 it’s the galactic alignment.

In Y2K, the techies came in and fixed the computers. On January 1, 2000, it was business as usual. But 2012 is different. Here we are dealing with a phenomenon of far-reaching and substantial consequences.

We are indeed at a watershed in human history. Humanity has issues. We’re facing unprecedented challenges: global warming, planetary pollution, deforestation, species extinction, overpopulation in some countries, reduced birth rates and aging populations in others, pandemics that result from diseases jumping from animals to humans, natural resource exhaustion, economic turmoil.

The fate of humanity hangs in the balance. This fate will be decided by what we do in the next 20 years. Moreover, as a consequence of human actions, all life on the planet is in peril.

The apprehension of global disaster portrayed in the 2012 movie strikes a chord in us because we understand that, from one point of view, it would be divine justice if we were to suffer a massive die off of human beings.

We’re on the cusp of betraying the stewardship of the diversity of life on the planet, if we have not already done so. This stewardship comes from the fact that we are the one species that can manipulate the environment.

The good news is that the fate of humanity and the fate of life of earth are still, even at this late date, within our control. We don’t have to live in an ecologically adversarial relationship with the planet. We can move away from the disastrous perspective that all the resources of the planet are here to meet our human needs.

We have the capacity to respond to the growing ecological crisis on our planet. The response to the depletion of the ozone as a result of manmade chemicals is one positive example.

The perspective of seeing the 2012 time frame as a call to action gets lost in apocalyptic thinking and unfounded Chicken Little rumors like the return of a totally fictitious Planet X, Nibiru.

When in crisis, human beings unfortunately have a proclivity to seek distraction from the real issues by indulging in fiction and fantasy. 2012 as a countdown to doomsday is an egregious example.

The powerful emotions of fear and desire can keep us from seeing the future clearly. 2012 as doomsday feeds our fear. Equally pernicious is the desire to have 2012 mean something like rapture or ascension.

The spaceships are not going to come to take us to heaven. Nor will we experience such a kick start to our evolution that we no longer need physical bodies.

The distractions of doom or transcendence are comforting to us because, in both the worst and best case scenarios, there is no need to do anything. Our future is being determined by outside forces over which we have no control.

The real challenge we face in the 2012 time is to expand our consciousness and grow our spiritual intelligence. This impetus to a spiritual awakening of humankind does not come from a single source but from a convergence of sources. What’s sourcing 2012 will be a topic for another blog.

If we look at 2012 as a time frame that starts some years before 2012 and extends some years after, we can see a process underway to empower humanity to achieve the transformation needed for what will prove in the end to be a reinvention of civilization.

Humankind is not going to be allowed to fall through the cracks. Our billions of years of evolution are not taking us to a dead end in the 21st century.

Even though we give (give up) ourselves
to this mortal process of continuing,

Dispensationalist teach that there will be a great snatching up of the Church; a Great Escape if you will. Nowhere in Scripture is there any such notion of a Rapture. They often claim that Matt 24 is a prophetic passage about the the Rapture.

“Then two men will be in the field; one is taken and one is left. Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left.” Matt. 24:40-41

However there is a parallel passage of the same teaching in Luke 17:33-37. In this alternate account the disciples ask a clarifying question. Where Lord? They are not asking where these people are left, but rather where they are taken. Jesus said that the bodies are taken to where the vultures are. If this is the Rapture, it doesn’t sound very pleasant nor does it sound like an escape from the Wrath of God. [c.f. Duet 28:49 gives a better idea of the type of vultures He is speaking of]

The context of the Matt 24 passage is that of the destruction of Jerusalem by the Roman army, that was fulfilled in 70 A.D. By all accounts both Biblical and secular this was a catastrophic event as described in the Duet 28 passage.

In has been taught that Rapture is found in 1 Thessalonians.
“But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep. For this we declare to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, shall not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first; then we who are alive, who are left, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
1Th. 4:13-18

There is no Rapture here. This is our great promise of The Resurrection. Only one event is listed here; not two separate events. The only timeline mentioned in connection with The Resurrection is in Rev 20:5-6. Please note: there is no tribulation mentioned here either.

“The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with him a thousand years.” Rev. 20:5-6

If you have been taught that you are going to fly away and not face the wrath of God, I’m afraid that you will be sorely mistaken. When the Messiah returns He is going to punish His people.

“Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning, and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the marriage feast, so that they may open to him at once when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes; truly, I say to you, he will gird himself and have them sit at table, and he will come and serve them. If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them so, blessed are those servants! But know this, that if the householder had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into. You also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an unexpected hour.” Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for all?” And the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master when he comes will find so doing. Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his possessions. But if that servant says to himself, ‘My master is delayed in coming,’ and begins to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink and get drunk, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will punish him, and put him with the unfaithful. . And that servant who knew his master’s will, but did not make ready or act according to his will, shall receive a severe beating (to flay, the beating they gave Jesus ). But he who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, shall receive a light beating ( to flay, modified with the word few). Every one to whom much is given, of him will much be required; and of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more.” [Luke 12:35 -48]

Where do these unfaithful go … Matt 24:51; where men “weep and gnash their teeth”. Matt 25:30 says, “outer darkness”. At last but not least for this subject; “the narrow door parable” Lk 13:22-30 “but he will say, I tell you, I do not know where you came from; depart from me,..”.

Obama ‘Reaches Out’ by Naming ‘Devout’ Muslims to Security Posts

(IsraelNN.com) U.S. President Barack Obama continues to “reach out to Muslims” by appointing them to key security posts amid charges he wrongly ignored internal Muslim terror. One recent appointee was harshly criticized for appearing on a British-based television station whose host is a member of a radical Muslim group.

His “reaching out Muslims” speech in Cairo last June has been followed by action, the latest being this past week’s swearing-in of a Muslim rights advocate to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, shortly after the Fort Hood massacre. HSAC members are involved in expertise on national security.

The new member is Syrian-born Kareem Shora, who was the national executive director of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination (ADC), which previously has called on the United States to stop providing Israel with weapons because of alleged “atrocities” against Arabs. Her background for her new security post is having been a legal counsel and advocate for Muslim civil rights.

She also has been a frequent guest on the pro-Hamas al-Jazeera satellite network.

Shora, who has been described as a “devout Muslim, joins another devout member of the faith, Arif Alikhan, who was appointed as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development in the Department of Homeland Security. His qualifications for the job were listed as having been in charge of public safety in Los Angeles during his term of deputy mayor. One of his actions was to remove the plan that tracked Muslims in the city who were suspected of terrorist activities.

Americans have been jolted by several lethal attacks and confrontations with Muslims over the past year, including a plot to attack synagogues and down U.S. military aircraft, the manufacture of bombs, an alleged attempt to explode a Texas skyscraper, a plot to blow up malls in Boston, and last month’s Fort Hood massacre by a Muslim psychiatrist who was an officer in the army.

A desire to avoid the appearance of labeling all Muslims as terrorists lunged out from the shadows last month after President Obama faced criticism for not taking seriously the threat of Muslim terrorism within American society as well as in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Several months ago, President Obama appointed Dalia Mogahed, a “devout Muslim,” to his Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. She quickly came under fire for appearing in a telephone interview on a London-based Muslim television station, whose host is a member of an extreme Islamic group.

She said was unaware of the affiliations of her host, whose program included questions and comments favoring the implementation of Islamic Law (“sharia”).

Mogahed explained that she did not hang up the phone in the middle of the interview because “I assumed that very few people would watch this show but that doing something more dramatic would bring more attention.”

In the current issue of Newsweek, columnist Jacob Weisberg, citing former Secretary of State Colin Powell, wrote that “Obama’s [Muslim] heritage feeds a broader suspicion that he is too casual about the threat from America’s Islamist enemies.”

The journalist added, “With the massacre in Texas, Obama now confronts something that George W. Bush did not face in the years after September 11—not just a major act of domestic terrorism, but one struck from inside our security apparatus…. America does not face a threat from the perversion of faith in general. We face a threat from the perversion of one faith in particular.”

By all appearances, judgment seems to be heading for the United States of America.  As a watchman giving warning, I am urging everyone who is reading this to please follow the Lord’s Word from Isaiah chapter 55 verses 6-7 which is as follows:

Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

May we all take heed to this warning while we still have the chance, because a time is coming when we will not.

The following article by Ron Reese is a good study of the possible time of the Rapture.  When relying on a type in the Old Testament to draw a conclusion I can only say that it is a possible assumption to interpret the live of Joseph in the seven years of famine with the live of the Church in the years of Tribulation.  It could also be seen as what is going to occur to the 12 tribes of Israel in this seven years, or the protection of the 144,000 sealed Israelis (1000 times multiple of the 12 brothers and the father) in the seven years.  The main argument Ron makes is the date the Tribulation started.  I have already stated my opinion on this subject before.  It is a very good subject for deliberation and study by all the readers and Doves visiting these sites.

Today is doomsday for us recent grads. For most of us, the past 3 1/2 months have only functioned as a torturously long countdown to November 20^th at 6pm. I’m fairly certain that this is THE Rapture. Now all I know about the rapture has been told to me by an ex-Evangelical and the Simpsons episode where Homer vandalizes Heaven after the Rapture, so there’s a chance I might be wrong. But THEY say that NO ONE wants to be left behind. And I can assure you, none of us recent grads want to be in the category of the “left behinds;” we desperately desire the CA Bar Examiners to look at us with “a twinkling eye” and with a trumpet blast be removed from JD and elevated to Esq. I want to call your attention to the italicized line that points out that scientists maintain that the Shroud is a medieval forgery! Science is supposed to examine evidence but it seems that when there is evidence presented that points to the supernatural, or in other words phenomena that is outside accepted scientific circles, than these so-called pillars of reason fall of their own weight! A cogent example is the recent work that was done examining the original sample that was taken for the Carbon dating when the Shroud was examined. It has now been proven that the sample was contaminated and that it contained re-woven threads of cotton  that were dyed to match the original linen. Why doesn’t the media run with this story instead of saying that the Shroud is a forgery? Why can’t these critics examine Frale’s evidence before sounding off? I believe the reason for this is that if the Shroud proves that it is indeed from the first century, it may open up an entire new physics that these scientist are not willing to examine. The media refuse to carry the story that challenges the carbon dating on the Shroud. In fact the media always points to the FACT that carbon dating proved the Shroud a fake. I guess if you repeat the same story over and over again it becomes the truth? I have not seen the evidence that Frale has discovered, but before we either dismiss or embrace it, it might behoove us all to take a look at it with an open mind. After all isn’t that what science is supposed to be about? Having an open mind, to go where the evidence takes us and not have a predetermined mindset? I think the real problem, as I mentioned before is that if the Shroud was conclusively proven to be real then this would open a door to a new way of looking at the universe.

For those of us who believe in the rapture, the Shroud may be an example of this. In other words the body of Jesus, that lay in the tomb was translated, changed, and underwent an event so profound that it speaks of a physics we know nothing about! When this event occurred it left the impression that we see today on the Shroud. This artifact not only may be the “proof” that Jesus rose fro the dead, it may very well put to rest the debate on whether the rapture of the church will occur. Behold I tell you a mystery…. we shall rise to meet the Lord in the air…

President Obama has dispatched a delegation this week to The Hague to explore issues involving the United States’ possible participation in the International Criminal Court, an organization critics charge could be used to prosecute Americans under international legal standards for actions that are not crimes in the U.S.

Andy Laney of the U.S. State Department confirmed the delegation is comprised of members of the State Department as well as the Defense Department. He said they were dispatched on a week-long trip because of U.S. concerns over how “aggression” is defined internationally.

“There is an inter-agency party, half from the State Department, half from the Defense Department, there to engage other delegations on matters of U.S. interest and specifically over our concerns on the definition of the crime of aggression,” he said.

Critics, however, warn that they believe former U.S. war crimes prosecutor Ambassador Stephen Rapp is on a trip that involves more than just the definition of a word.

“The Obama administration would like the U.S. to be a party to the court,” said Brett Schaefer, an international regulatory expert with the Heritage Foundation. Here is the link of the complete article,

I’m not a professional burglar, but…

Bioshock is my favourite game of this generation, so I was already pretty damn excited for the second installment, but after seeing the great swag that comes with the Collectors Edition I’m jumping up and down like a school girl.

As announced on The Cult of Rapture the Collectors Edition will cost approximately $99.99USD for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, and $89.99USD for the PC. That’s a fair bit of coin, but you also get a fair bit of swag including…

* Vinyl 180g LP featuring the orchestral score from the original BioShock
