Check Price Now!

We just celebrated Christmas a few days early this year due to a traveling situation. My 11 year-old daughter got the Bistro model in Mint. She was THRILLED to see it under the tree, and has been riding all afternoon. Her younger brother is already requesting one for his birthday! I purchased my daughter’s scooter here at Amazon back on Thanksgiving weekend, and only paid $[...]. Definitely an incredible price! I’m a single mom and was kind of dreading unpacking the box and putting it together, but it was all relatively simple. My only beef was with the directions for attaching the handlebars in the owner’s manual. The manual omits a few important steps, is vague at best with poor diagrams, and can lead to a lot of frustration. Do yourself a huge favor and go to [...] and search for the directions for attaching the handlebars. I’m betting it’s a common question, and the instructions are A LOT clearer on the site. I was able to complete that part of the installation within two minutes after reading the website’s directions and viewing the diagram.

This is a scooter kids will absolutely love, with a great price for parents!

The end of the world could soon be upon us.

Not that world, silly. I leave that up to Alvin Gore (of the three chipmunks) to worry about).

No I meant we’re coming to the end of the simple showering world as I used to know it.

I happened to be using someone else’s shower the other morning, and let’s just say it was different.

I was looking for some soap and shampoo, the basics of what any man needs to stay clean for the day. I didn’t bring a razor because I thought I might look sexy in a two-day growth of beard.

But as the hot water beat down on me, what I saw all around me was confusing and frustrating.

Bath gel, skin creams, facial gels, enhancers, body butter (now that sounded interesting) bath salt, skin exfoliant and a thing called a loofah, which I guess is different from a bath sponge.

But where was the soap and shampoo? The fancy colors and writing made it impossible to determine what was what. And my aging eyes were no help as the text on these fancy bottles was so small it took me forever to read them. And then I could feel the water start to slowly cool. Shit.

So, I did what made sense to me. I start opening every bottle, pouring some in my hands, and rubbing it to see if I could get soap.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

Then finally I got something to lather up that was actually called cucumber gel. I whipped it on my head and it seemed to do the trick. I don’t know if my hair was clean but my head smelled like some sort of Caesar salad for the rest of the day. I used the same “gel” on the rest of my body and escaped the shower just as it was running out of hot water.

I don’t know if I was clean, but I was hungry.

To me, it’s the little things that signal the end of the earth. One is the shortage of gas, and yet every vehicle on the road is either an SUV, or a car that gets as little mileage out of a tank of gas as I get out of my paycheck.

And the people who bitch and moan about the price of everything, but the restaurants are full every night. And finally, the mocha lattes that cost more than a gallon of gas, and there are more lines at Star bucks then there are at the local Mobil station.

And now gels, creams, highlighters, enhancers, butter, exfoliants…you name it.

There is a chance that I may visit this shower again, which is none your business, but next time I’m taking a bar of Lava and a bottle of Suave shampoo with me, (two bottles for the price of one, $1.99) Even that shampoo said “natural (right) aloe” and “waterlily infused with aloe vera and vitamin E.” (No wonder the bald spot on the back of my head is growing.)

But at $1.99 and one thrown in for free, at least it had the word “shampoo” on it. Though I’ve always wondered how something with the word “poo” in it could get you clean, but I try not to think about that too much.

So, the end of the world? Who really knows except for the people who plaster 25 cent bumper stickers spouting “the end of the world is coming” on their gas guzzling SUVs.

All I know is it’s getting harder and harder to step into a shower and find soap and shampoo when……..

…..I just want to wash my hair.

very unhappy with this item, – Giuseppe G. Deriu – Newington, Connecticut
I purchased 2 electric motor scooters, One of them works fine for my son,but the other one for my daughter there has been nothing but problems with the unit. Since day one the reset button keeps going off and she has to constantley reset it. She cant enjoy it,not even for 2 minutes, the razor keeps shutting down, and now its to the point where it will not even go? she has a total of less than 30 minutes off use of her razor. Very frustrted with her razor want to send it back. Very dissatisfied father!!!!!
Beware the throttle sticks! – concerned parent – West Virginia
After having this unit for only 2 weeks, the throttle began sticking causing undesired acceleration. Obviously unsafe to ride. I will probably always be a little uneasy with the safety factor now. We did contact Razor who walked us through a series of tests and then decided they would send us a new throttle and electrical components. We have not received the parts yet, hopefully things will work out. I will say, I had read several negative reviews and was somewhat leery about making this purchase in the first place. I went forward relying on the good name of Razor. Hopefully they come through.
Electrical system – Paul Alexander – Palm Beach FL
Bought scooter, worked fine, we use it daily. Three weeks into it, c/b conotinues to pop. Scooters goes 5 minutes max then has to stop and reset c/b. Went on line two days ago, ordered new battery. Hopefully that is it. The two battery combo package costs approximately another $[...]. I hope that is the fix.

I don’t think it charges the scooter as well as the original. The scooter seems not as fast and doesnt go as long. But, , it revived my scooter.

Tried the brand-new Gillette Fusion Power razor today – it was on sale at Wal-Mart. Sign of the times, wonder if Nike golf gear is next. Anyway good news is VERY smooth shave, face free of cuts and now free of hair. The vibrating razor was a little odd but I liked it. Bad news – no Swedish blonde bombshells or New York cocktail hostesses in my life yet but the waitress at Perkins winked at me this morning.

very unhappy with this item, – Giuseppe G.

I want to contribute some more useful things to my blog this time around. I think that will make it

I want to contribute some more useful things to my blog this time around. I think that will make it more worthwhile and I will probably learn a lot about the skills and tactics that Transmen use and apply them for myself. Hopefully readers of this blog will learn a lot as well.

This series will kick off today with Electric Shaving (Resist booing and hissing, it is not polite).
I thought this would be handy to start with because it is one of the cheapest ways to shave. Cheap start-up (usually), maintenance and shorter real shaving time compared to the other methods I will write on.
Choosing how you would like to shave is entirely a personal preference, in the end the way you shave should be the way that works the best for you and your face.

What are the Pros and the Cons of shaving with this method?

Positives:

Electric razors are very convenient, they are very mobile and you can even shave while driving (Note: Shaving and driving are not a recommended combination)

Easier to use for many people

Faster shave time

Lower risk for nicks and cuts (Note: Lower, you should still exercise caution with metallic blades and your skin)

You are not always replacing blades, like you would with disposable razors, so long as you keep up regular maintenance

Rechargeable batteries are very handy inventions

Negatives:

Not as close of a shave

Sensitive skin can be easily irritated

Proper maintenance can be time-consuming if you do not want to often replace the razor

Replacement parts can be expensive

You will have no respect from any of your friends that prefer safety or straight razor shaving, they may mock you mercilessly

What are the supplies needed for electric razor shaving?

A stubbly to bearded face

Face wash or scrub (optional)

Pre-shave lotion (specifically designed for electric shaving)

Electric razor (foil or rotary head)

Electric razor brush

Aftershave

What are the steps to electric razor shaving?

Determine whether you have a dry, oily or somewhere in-between skin-type on your face. Dry faces can get a closer shave, but it may be a painful one. This will decide some of your early preparation steps.

Prepare your face. Wash it with a shaving wash or scrub and dry thoroughly. Then use a good pre-electric shave lotion or gel. Let it sink into the skin and it will help make the skin dry. You will need to calculate (or trial and error) how much of everything you will need depending on the pre-existing dryness level of your facial skin. Higher dryness will need less washing, but perhaps more pre-shave lotion).

While your face is letting that lotion or gel sink in for a few minutes, prep your electric razor heads. Quick maintenance is always good. Use the brush that comes with your shaver and brush out all the stubble inside. Brush each head separately and the protective shields as well. Do NOT tap your razor against hard surfaces to knock out the hair…this may irreparably damage your electric razor. Not only will you get a better shave but you will preserve your razors longer.

This may seem counter intuitive, but with an electric razor you want to start shaving against the grain. That will help pull the whiskers out so the razor will be able to cut it lower and result in a closer shave.

Slow it right on down. While shaving with an electric razor is a faster shaving method, you need to give it some time to be effective, especially under your chin and on your neck or anywhere with coarser hair. Like vacuuming, if you go too fast you will not pick up anything. Slow it down and give yourself a nice even shave.

Rinse your face and apply some aftershave balm or lotion. Do not use an eau de toilet or cologne as these are merely fragrances and will not give the care your skin needs after shaving, in fact they add to your pain.

How are electric razors maintained?

Maintenance for your electric razor is very important.

Essentially, electric shavers are fairly simple machines consisting of a single or set of blades, a motor or drive unit, a circuit board or some form of electronics, a battery for rechargeable shavers and a way to deliver power to the battery and electronics. The operation is as simple as the motor turning rapidly to move the cutter (or blade) back and forth beneath the foil (also called a screen). As the foil is moved across the face or other part of the body, the hairs poke through the holes in the foil where they are then sheared off by the cutter. Hence, you are shaved.

Battery Maintenance:

Recharge the razor according to the manufacturers instructions (Yes, I am actually suggesting that you READ the instructions).

Use the razor unplugged on a daily basis until the charge has been exhausted or is very nearly exhausted.

Recharge the razor while it is off and not being used. Unplug when the charge is completed.

If you did not notice that the power is nearly exhausted and the razor loses its power halfway through your shave, plug the razor in just long enough to shave. Then shut the razor down and recharge it. This is considered emergency charging and doing this every once in a while will not do long-term damage to the battery. Following this procedure will dramatically extend the rechargeable life of your razor.

Cleaning:

Clean your razor. The cleaner it is, the sharper it will stay and I cannot emphasize this enough.

At least once per week, you must at least brush the hair out of the head frame and the cutters of your razor.

At least once per month you will want to do a thorough cleaning involving the removal of the foil and cutter and soaking them in some shaver cleaning solution or some straight rubbing alcohol. Just a minute or two is all that is necessary.

Why? Moisture. No matter what you do or do not use on your face in terms of lotions, gels and such, the hairs themselves build up in the head of your razor. Moisture collects along your hair as well as oils and other particles that are removed from your face when you shave. Also, you probably shave while you are in the bathroom, a breeding ground for warm moisture and all that can live within such an environment. Therefore, you want to prevent bacteria from building up inside your razor.

How much does it cost for an electric razor?

There are many different types of razors that you could buy, but I would check out reviews and ratings on these products just like you would any other serious purchase. I found that sites like this are good places to start your hunt.

Electric razors: $15 – $270

Pre-shave lotion: $2 – $25

Aftershave lotion: $2 – $30

Cleaning kits: around $30

I hope that covers about all that you might need to know about using and maintaining an electric razor. If you have further questions, feel free to ask, I will definitely research the answers for you.

When we went to the store, we weren’t looking to get little Jeremyna a motorcycle, and thanks to this, we still don’t have to worry. The little scooter does move quickly, but the uphill for her kind of taxes the motor and drive train. She is on the edge of 150 pounds, so that might have something to do with it! She has to Fred Flintstone it up a hill.

But it is so quiet, especially when she is jabbering on about Hannah Montana and the like. Oh, that Jeremyna! She hooked up a little Red Ryder to it, and she pulls around her little pet Maia wherever she goes! That fast little Jeremyna!

I suggest that you go with a bright orange flag and if you are like our Jeremyna, a sturdy set of elbow and kneepads. Because our little one is a little accident prone. Clumsy little Jeremyna!

Razor makes a sturdy product, and it is great for the sidewalk (at low speeds) and unbusy roads. No stunt driving for this little rascal, though. It can’t handle the ramps. (reckless Jeremyna)

It’s a good scooter. I am college girl 5 feet tall. I use it to ride around the campus.
Although I would’ve liked to have more room on it to put both feet on as I am riding (there is only room for one foot). Also the wheels could’ve been bigger so I can zoom through those cracks on the sidewalk. But you get used to avoiding them after a while.

Great folding system!! Becomes compact so I can walk to class with it.
Great breaks! It slows you down, but doesn’t do so abruptly, it’s great!

Razor A Kick Scooter (Blue) Feature

Original kick scooter made of sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum with blue highlights

Patented T-tube and deck design folds conveniently for transport

98 mm inline-style urethane wheels with ABEC 5 bearings

Patented rear fender brake for quick stops; weighs only 6 pounds

Recommended for ages 5 and older; 6-month warranty

Razor A Kick Scooter (Blue) Overview

This is the original scooter that started it all! Get your Razor A Scooter today. Its lightweight and convenient design make it great for recreation or commutes to work and school. Always wear protective gear.

Razor A Kick Scooter (Blue) Specifications

The original kick scooter, the Razor A is a handy little ride for kids and teens alike. Though it’ll never replace the internal combustion engine, the scooter will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one’s shoes in the process. Plus, it’s a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.

The Razor A is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Its T-tube and deck, meanwhile, fold up into a compact footprint, so riders can fit the scooter inside a bag or carry it at their side when riding isn’t appropriate (it weighs around 6 pounds). And thanks to the 98 mm inline-style urethane wheels, ABEC 5 bearings, and patented rear fender brake, riders will always feel smooth and in control when kicking along the sidewalk.

Recommended for ages 5 and older, this version of the Razor A sports blue handlebars, a blue deck logo, and blue wheels, with a max rider weight of 143 pounds. It’s also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.

Key Features:

For riders ages 5 and older

Sturdy aluminum construction

Weighs approximately six pounds

Retractable kickstand

Rear fender brake

Patented folding mechanism

143-pound user weight capacity

Six-month warranty

The buyer and rider of the Razor A scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

Very cute – C. Arellano – auburn ca
It is very very cute. Worth the money. My six year old daughter loves it!
Nice Little Scooter – Lillian35 – United States
I bought this for my 6-year-old daughter (in pink) and she loves it. It’s lightweight and very easy to handle. The handle bar moves up and down easily and putting it together was a snap. The only issue we’ve had with it is trying to fold it down. It is difficult to do for some reason, which it shouldn’t be. So we leave it up most of the time, which isn’t a big deal. Other than that we have no complaints. The price is really good for the quality. Now our 12-year-old wants one too!

Laughing.

Revealing blood on bone.

The tongue licking wrists, tracing veins- the current of life- under a pale film.

The smile is now vexed that the flesh is torn open and yet the mind feels nothing.

A giggle escapes from the throat under the smile. The child’s giggle becomes maniacal. Like a birthday clown.

And so it continues to inflict pain.

But the mind will not come to its senses, it is addicted.

The laceration is like a kiss.

The flesh slashed open now.

Yet there is no one around to stitch it up.
The mercury runs bright red out of the gashes and splatters into the water,

Contaminating it.

But the blood dries

and the wounds heal

and laughs keep escaping from the silver lips

and the mind is still numb.

The plight will be relieved soon enough and the affliction will continue.

It may take a lot to wake it from its slumber, but once its war machine has been activated the North

It may take a lot to wake it from its slumber, but once its war machine has been activated the Northern Coalition is a giant lumbering mass of pain and hurt to those who oppose it. Drawing on the wealth of seven nullsec regions, the sheer quantity of hardware commanded is phenominal. The NC Fleet truly is a mighty thing to behold, awe-inspiring in its fury and sheer brute strength

Or, at least it would be…. if you could log into the system to see it.

—-

The Operation had been scheduled for quite a while. The Anti-Northern Coalition Coalition headed by Triumverate Alliance had penetrated deep into The Council Alliance’s space and had reinforced an Infrastructure hub in JC-YX8. The Northern Coalition High Commission made the decision that we would defend the council’s space. This was going to be a massive operation and an even more massive fight as Triumverate was expected to bring heavy numbers to deal with the NC’s fleet.

As usual, Mostly Harmless formed up on our trusty Titan (who hasn’t been seen doomsdaying blue fleets since dominion) and prepared to enter the fray. Triumverate and allies were already in the target system of JC- locking it down. We were on the back foot but we had superior numbers.

Once again – I have to say – the Fleet interface is very good – forming up an inter-alliance fleet is very easy now. it used to be that if you were not in the same alliance as the boss you’d have to be manually invited by squad leaders. But now you can just join the fleet based on standings.

Also, the fleet composition eliminates the “everyone who’s in a battleship x up so we can get an idea of numbers”:

After a 30 minute wait while the alliance leaders coordinated with the rest of the NC, we cynoed into a system 4 jumps away from the target and went gate-by-gate to EL8-4Q and waited for the rest of the NC to arrive.

We warped to the JC- Stargate at 100 and locked it down with our support fleet and a smeg-load of bubbles. Local grew to 300+, mostly blue

Then within 10 minutes the rest of the NC arrived in long range battleship fleets and warped into 200km+ sniping positions around the gate, bringing the local count to a maximum of 763 (a personal record). Since dominon, most of our battleship fittings have been ultra-long-range sniper glass-cannons. MH for instance mandate that each battleship pilot carries frentix boosters (they increase weapon optimal range) in our cargo holds so we can easily engage at 200km and above and have no reduction in damage. This range has the added advantage of being far enough away that we can warp to the target if need be.

The 700 pilot Northern Coalition Grid of death surrounding the JC- gate.

Owing to the fact that our people in the JC- system said there were 600+ in local there, we hung back deciding what to do. CCP had reinforced JC-, but not any surrounding systems, and despite their reinforcing the critical hub, we knew that there was no way we could jump in 700+ battleships into a system with one gate and not have it be a complete turkey shoot for the other side as we loaded the system.

It was with regret that the operation was called off. The new Dominion warfare tactic in the north: Get 600+ in system before the opposing fleet can, and they won’t be able to jump in. we should have gotten in there first and locked it down hours before, but we didn’t.

Instead, in their infinite wisdom, the fleet commanders fleet warped every single ship to the same gate so we could jump home.

The mangled mess you see below is the result. There’s a stargate in there somewhere, I’m sure of it:

Followed shortly by everyone hitting the jump button at the same time:

Followed shortly by 700 eve clients exploding and the EL8- system going down completely.

[ 2009.12.13 21:26:30 ] (info) Your character is located within EL8-4Q, which is currently loading. Please try again in a moment.

Anyway, so I said that I’d get you some battle reports, but unfortunately, that’s going to have to wait until we actually have a battle.

note: I had turned my graphics settings way down to avoid as much lag as possible so you may find if you click on those shots they aren’t as high quality as they could have been.

My husband and I both tried it and the same thing happened to us. Guess what? We ordered it a month before her birthday so the date to return it is up now. I guess we are stuck with the dangerous expensive scooter.

Check Price Now!

I read all the reviews on the product before purchasing and have to concur that this is absolutely a quality item for the price. It was priced comparably with all other sites I checked. I have had no complaints in 2 weeks since my girls (14) have been using it. They are short for their age, so it is perfect for them. It is the basic model (no frills), but since they will probably tire of it soon anyway, it is all they really require.

Razor A Kick Scooter (Red) Feature

Original kick scooter made of sturdy aircraft-grade aluminum with red highlights

Patented T-tube and deck design folds conveniently for transport

98 mm inline-style urethane wheels with ABEC 5 bearings

Patented rear fender brake for quick stops; weighs only 6 pounds

Recommended for ages 5 and older; 6-month warranty

Razor A Kick Scooter (Red) Overview

This is the original scooter that started it all! Get your Razor A Scooter today. Its lightweight and convenient design make it great for recreation or commutes to work and school. Always wear protective gear.

Razor A Kick Scooter (Red) Specifications

Recommended for ages 5 and older, this version of the Razor A sports red handlebars, a red deck logo, and red wheels, with a max rider weight of 143 pounds. It’s also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A2 Scooter.

Key Features:

For riders ages 5 and older

Sturdy aluminum construction

Weighs approximately six pounds

Retractable kickstand

Rear fender brake

Patented folding mechanism

143-pound user weight capacity

Check Price Now!

I first ordered a cheaper scooter on Ebay but could not get it to work despite numerous interactions with the company. SHould have bought this one to start. My son zooms around on it all over the neighborhood and couldn’t be happier.

Razor E125 Electric Scooter (Red) Feature

Sleek electric scooter with high-torque, chain-driven motor and twist-grip throttle

Requires a small manual kickoff to 3 mph before trigger engages motor

Adjustable handlebar adapts to riders of all sizes; hand-operated front brake

Motor cruises at speeds of up to 10 mph; up to 40 minutes of use per charge

Recommended for ages 8 and older (120 pounds max weight); 90-day warranty

Razor E125 Electric Scooter (Red) Overview

Hop on this fiery red scooter and impress your friends! A powerful 125-watt motor gives you speeds of up to 10 mph. Scooter features adjustable handlebars, twist-grip throttle, hand-operated brake, folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, 8″ pneumatic front tire and 125mm polyurethane rear wheel. Variable-speed chain driven motor.

The Razor E125 Scooter also includes two 12-volt sealed lead acid batteries, battery charger and tools. Get up to 40 minutes of continuous use per charge. Battery charge time is eight hours. Maximum rider weight: 120 pounds. Safety equipment such as helmet, elbow pads and knee pads (all sold separately) are recommended. Measures 36″ x 16″ x 32.5″.

Razor E125 Electric Scooter (Red) Specifications

Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E125 electric scooter. Boasting an adjustable handlebar that adapts to riders of all sizes, a chain-driven, high-torque motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E125 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend’s house or head to the park. Unlike Razor’s E300S and E500S scooters–whose motors start from a standing position–the E125 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once your child is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour–fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch.

Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E125 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty.

The buyer and rider of the E125 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.
