Several people were injured, none seriously, when a chain reaction accident occurred in Westmoreland County on Tuesday.  Icy conditions were apparently present on Route 119 in Mount Pleasant Township when the accident occurred. 

According to reports, the accident occurred when one car stopped for a stop light and several following vehicles were then unable to stop due to the condition of the road.  Two people were taken to the hospital but the reported injuries were not considered to be serious.

Icy conditions require greater care and attention for drivers.  Speeds must be reduced and extended stopping distances must be considered.  Pittsburgh area accident and injury attorney.

What’s the first thing you think of when Amsterdam is mentioned?

Well if it’s the Red Light District things are going to change.

Amsterdam is trying to clean up it’s Red Light District, overflowing with den’s of iniquity, coffee shops and dope smoke.

At it’s height there were an estimated 450 spots showcasing working women, now down by 100 and more to go.

Artists and fashion designers are taking over, the real life flesh figures are being replaced by fashion clad mannequins showcasing Amsterdam’s top designers wares of fashion. You can even choose the designer ring from the jewellers to put on your loved one’s finger from a snack machine that has been modified to dispense rings.

This transformation has even stretched to other parts of the city such as Zeedijk towards Nieuwmarkt and Chinatown where a new Buddhist temple has been erected.

As previously announced, Wong Fu is back in the MV game with their latest video for Sam Geunjin Kang and his single ‘Red Light’. They went with a new direction for this one as nearly the whole video is in black and white going for a very clean look. I’m digging the footage with the band.

Sam is something of a hybrid artist. I wouldn’t say he’s an incredible rapper, or an incredible singer, but he manages to blend the two together very well to create a fun, laid back type of sound. It’s comparable to some of Mat Kearny’s earlier work.

A pretty solid effort that I’m beginning appreciate more with each view/listen.

Have you ever gone to a red light and you are going to turn right? Ever done that and had someone behind you? Are you a safe driver how doesn’t turn right on red lights? Yeah, I’m like you then.

What ticks me off is when I stop at a red light, I’m the one in front and I got my signal light to turn right on. I always get people beeping at me. Okay that doesn’t tick me off, what REALLY ticks me off is when they beep at me and they are going straight.

Here’s what I mean, I pull up to a fresh red light and I’m the one in front. A car pulls behind me. Okay I got my right signal light on and the driver behind me doesn’t (he’s either a bad driver or going straight). He/she beeps at me because no cars are coming from the left, and I go to see the bastard going straight.

Why does it tick me off? Because the fool has to still stop at the damn red light! I don’t know why people are so pissy about that… But I know why I’m pissy when people honk at me to go. I abide the law so now I don’t turn

Wong Fu has announced their newest music video for artist Sam Geunjin Kang is about ready for official release and will drop December 10th. The MV is for a song entitled ‘Red Light’ which you can hear on his Myspace.

There is a controversy between Babbu Mann (Punjabi Singer) and Sant Ranjit Singh Dhabdrianwala (Well known Sant / Baba).

Babu Mann Wrote and Sang the song,
“Ik Baba Nanak Si Jine Tur Ke Duniya Gaah Ti
Ik Ajj Kal Babe Ne Batti Laal Gaddi Te Laati….”

Although he (Babu Maan) has not mentioned any one’s name in his song but Sant Ranjit Singh reacted on his song and commented “ki je sangat keemti cars vich aundi hai te Babe tur ke aon?” [If his listeners are coming in big cars then How could he come by foot?]

Babbu Maan did not comment on Luxury Cars of so called babas, Even He did not named Sant Ranjit Singh.
He (Babbu Maan) only commented on Lal Bati (Red Light) fitted on so called Babas / Sants vehicles, that shows living standard as if they are a celebrity. Babas are far away from simlicity. Their life style shows they run after Money, Fame and all the luxuries and on other hand they preach about not to indulge in any sort of “Maya”.

Babu Maan only showed this kind of hypocracy of BABAs in General.

A couple of months ago I was cited by a cop for running through a red light at a busy intersection. At first I was pissed at the officer for giving me a ticket. I was the one who broke the law, yet I was also the one who was mad. Who was I hurting? I knew that the coast was clear.

That wasn’t my first infraction while on a bike, I had received several tickets/warnings before about blowing through lights and signs. Yet I continued to do it. After thinking about it for a little bit, I had no one to blame but myself.

It really is an inconvenience to get pulled over and written up for breaking the law. But the law is implemented for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and drivers for good reason.

When I went through the red light without stopping, I thought I knew that the coast was clear. But isn’t that how many accidents happen? You think that the street is clear so you proceed to cross when it is not your right of way. I didn’t even see the cop car, so what’s to say that I would see an oncoming car headed right towards me?

You often hear people say, “That car came from outta no where!” Impossible, that car came from somewhere, and saying that will not hold up in court. Especially when you are at fault for choosing to break the law. That is if you’re lucky enough to survive a collision with a 2,000 pound vehicle.

Luckily for me, I didn’t get into an accident that day. I wasn’t hurt, and I didn’t get anyone else hurt. But I know that if I were to continue to recklessly run red lights, the story might not end with me just receiving a ticket. It could be a fat hospital bill, a lawsuit, or worse yet, a bill for someone’s funeral.

Instead of taking the time to wait an additional 15 seconds at the red light, I am now forced to deal with multiple court dates and fines. I went to the Superior Court today, and stood in a ridiculously long line just to receive another day in court. Come January 28th, I will be standing before a judge, hoping to receive a lenient enough one to either reduce or waive my fine of $174.00.

I would be lying if I said that I would never run a red light on my bike again. But now, even when I “know” that my coast is clear, I wait for my green. It’s just 15 seconds.

I just did 22 minutes to guru Jeff’s DVD, which was great as usual. I’m so tired from staying up late last night that I almost took a nap at a red light on the way home from school. The yoga definitely helped to both ground and mellow me out. But when I came to after savasana, I noticed that it felt like the left side of my body was longer and more relaxed than the right side. Not sure why or what that means. Perhaps someone with more insight into those kinds of things can help me out. Peace y’all.
