This little summer outfit is directly out of the annals of the 1940s, when women took up the cause in multiple capacities in the South Pacific alongside men during World War Two.  Of course, the ladies needed downtime too, and weren’t always in their daily beige. 

All new releases today happily, but from multiples sources.  First, my ‘dress’, though really, it’s much more a cover-up.  I put it on first with nothing under it, and lord, you could see everything my momma gave me.  If you’re not exactly that sort of girl, you really might prefer putting a bikini on underneath it.  This is from BOOM and it’s available at FaMeshed this month. 

I’m also wearing another of TRUTH’s newest dos, the sassy Sadie, absolutely perfect for a ‘Riveting Rosie’ type.  And my flip flops are a new Gos Boutique limited edition in Paint, available at the latest round of the Liaison Collaborative.  God, so many events, so little time.  I think I’ll go get an enormous coconut drink with a big umbrella in it and call it a day.

Lately, one thing or another has been getting in the way of blogging.
Real life, or course is first and it really sucks when Second Life, begins to affect your Real Life, negatively..

Then, you add on the stresses that Second Life offers, itself!
Refreshing textures, avatars not loading, SIMS not loading…
Linden balance not loading…

It just seems so stressful just to log on when, Second Life is suppose to be FUN!

I am glad that there are designers, and bloggers out there that are still able to fight through all the ISSUES, Second Life has to offer to create some awesome things too, buy.. or, look at, or create.

Truth Hawks recently released, 6 new hair styles, and THANK YOU! is now offering a “variety” pack.
The new hairs are called Selma, Abra, Lotus, Gattina, Denee and my personal favorite, Sadie! (I think I have placed the names in a left to right on by MY photo below…)

Designers seem to be on a roll lately when it comes to producing items in my favorite colors- namely any shade of teal! So, of course, I had to grab everything I could find! With dozens of teal inspired pieces in my inventory, I knew I had to put some of them together, or I’d never make room for more, so here I am! These teal skinny jeans and heels are by ISON for the May round of Collabor88. Harry does such incredible work that it is so hard to pass up anything he releases.

Also new this week are these teal floral bracelets and headband from A&Ana for The Dressing Room Fusion. I am not too familiar with this designer, but I fell in love with the quality of her pieces so I will definitely be visiting the mainstore soon for more!

Truth Hawks has finally released new hair! After an epic hair sale that had to be extended (twice!) the new mainstore is open and it is A.W.E.S.O.M.E! Truth has also released new hair color packs as well as a new in-store credit system. Have you heard the secret? It’s Secret Wednesday! I know, I know; it’s Thursday now. And I apologize… I actually fell asleep last night before I could get this posted. Anyway, this sexy, mesh Boudoir Drape Dress II is one of six amazing Secret Wednesday deals found a Liv-Glam this week. Secret Wednesday sales items items are 49L each, and Liv-Glam typically keeps their sale items out all week long, so you should have a few more days to pick up this awesome dress. What I really love is the HUD which lets you choose one of six colors to wear as the back side. I’m wearing the fuschia/purple color, which you can see a hint of on the side. So with the HUD, it’s like you’re getting 6 different dresses in the box, so that works out to… <grabs calculator> a little over 8L per dress!

My jewelry is a previous group gift from Iron Tiger, and I’m disappointed to report that as of today, it is no longer free. You can, however, pick up a set in ruby or ice blue on sale for only 55L (necklace and earrings only), but I don’t know how long that deal will last. My clutch is still free (yay!) from Septem Essentia, and comes in both red and black, with our without a handle.
