Am făcut cercetarea fără acordul METRO, deşi le-am solicitat în repetate randuri şi i-am asigurat de confidenţialitatea numelor, unităţii, în studiu nu ar fi apărut numele METRO ci cuvantul Supermarket. Ei ar fi beneficiat primii de rezultate, aş fi acceptat sugestii de studiu, etc.

Reduse la tăcere timp de milenii, dominate barbar de bărbaţi în toate aspectele, aceste creaturi indispensabile au reuşit într-o sută şi vreo 15 ani să reducă distanţa dintre sexe, sau cel puţin percepţia asupra diferenţelor. În unele domenii, sunt clar mai bune decât bărbaţii.

Ajutate de criza economică şi de o serie de schimbări succesive şi ireversibile din societate, femeile par să preia conducerea în două aspecte fundamentale: muncă şi viaţă de familie, care sunt oarecum interrelate. Specialiştii în trenduri la aceste capitole creionează o tendinţă tot mai mare spre inversarea rolurilor în familie- femeia principal aducător de venit, barbatul casnic/sau part-time. În ce priveşte locul de muncă, statisticile arată că femeile înlocuiesc barbaţii în procent de 60%. Adică dacă pleacă un bărbat, sunt cu 60% şanse să fie angajată o femeie.

Oricum, asta se întâmplă în Vestul îndepărtat. Până ajunge valul în România, mai durează puţin.

I’m serious! I will give serious pain to Atlus if they release Persona 5 for PlayStation 3.

Okay, just kidding. I want to, but I can’t do it XD.

Well, but against my will, after doing another research on Persona 5, I found out that Persona 5 is more likely for PS3 than any other console. That is sad, and make me want to blow up. I mean, come on. Have you ever look at the price tag for PlayStation 3? It’ll kill my wallet, or my parents’. I even need to do a lot of plead and acts for my parents to get me a Nintendo Wii, what can I do to get a PS3? If you already have it, it might be fine and easy for you, but not for me or anyone else who don’t have it.

Anyway, I won’t tell you where did I get information regarding this. Just go and ask Mr. Google. He’ll tell you everything, if you use the right words. Well, anyway. According to my researches, P5 is now 65% likely to be for PS3. 25% is for PS2, while 10% is for PSP, 360, or Wii. However, that is only through MY research and speculation. Who knows what is Atlus’ plan?

I just want to make this straight and clear, there will be no such thing as Persona 4 FES. If you still don’t get the message, or want to know more, read on.

Persona 4, a game for PS2, is another game from the Persona sub-series (With Megami Tensei as the main series). It’s a real awesome game, seriously. This game and Persona 3 is probably the only games that make me prefer PlayStation 2 over Nintedo Wii or Xbox or any other console. But let’s not talk about it. You see, the game in the sub-series before this is Persona 3. P3 have an upgraded and fixed version called Persona 3 FES. In P3FES there are many stuffs fixed and made into better, and they introduce new part for the story titled The Answer.

The problem we have right now is that plenty of people believe that Atlus will release Persona 4 FES. I think this is pretty ridiculous. I mean does Persona and P2 have a “FES” version? Noo… Well, there are 2 P2 games, but that’s not a FES. Atlus give P3 a FES version because they just want to continue its epic story, and because they want to fix some mistakes they make.

Okay, before you scream out “There will be P4FES!!!” and knock me out, I have some proofs for you. First thing first. Someone already asked Atlus, regarding if there will be a new version for P4, and Atlus’ respond is that there will be no such thing. So ya, there’s your proof. Another proof, found any mistakes that need fixing in P4? Does you still want to know more about the Midnight Channel and stuffs like this after you see the True Ending? Well, please comment if you do have one.

So now you get it right? But don’t be so down, look at the bright side. Without P4FES, Persona 5 will be released soon, which I think will be at 2011. But then again, just because Atlus doesn’t make an official story to continue Persona 4, that doesn’t mean you can’t make up those stories in your mind.

Haven’t post for a while, and I have the best reason ever to explain it: Too lazy. But I’ll keep this blog up to date from now on, hopefully.

So, I told you previously that I’m a Persona game maniac. Let’s make it wider. I’m a Megaten (Megami Tensei) maniac and Atlus’ fan. I even nearly forgot about Pokemon when I’m doing a research on Megaten.

Once upon a time (Actually it’s just a couple weeks ago), my friend sent me some information she got from a forum called “Persona Lovers Indo”(Indo stands for Indonesia, my nationality, by the way) about Persona 5. Of course, I don’t believe right away. People from my country often can’t understand english, and most of them easily fall to false rumors and theories. So I do a little research through the internet about the game Persona 5, which will probably released at late 2010 or later.  So far I got plenty of theories and rumors, and because I just want to share it with you all, here it goes.

One topic that both me and my friend really want to know (And what I’m deeply researching), is the console Persona 5 will be in. Lots of people assume it will be in PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and this theory pretty much make both me and my friend enraged(None of us own PS3). I also found out at some gaming sites that Atlus is finished with its projects at PS2 and will move on to a more next-gen consoles. However, I found out at somewhere that Atlus said P5 will more likely to be on PS2 than PS3. And then I also find something that say P5 will be released for multiple console that is not PS2 or Wii. But of course, I don’t trust any of these right away, especially the one that say multiple console. I haven’t end my research, but so far it’s 50% to PS3/Xbox 360, 40% to PS2, and 10% to PSP.

Pretty much console is the only one I’m focused to research. But I also do few research about the story. One thing for sure that I found out by knowing the story of the previous Persona games, the story will be very different than the other Persona games. Still same universe, but a very different story. If Atlus want to make the story connected to the other Persona games it will not be Persona 5, but more like Persona 4 whatever or something like that. Persona 2 have 2 games (Innocent Sin & Eternal Punishment) because the story is connected. But previous characters make a comeback is possible, like Persona characters in Persona 2,  unless the character is dead and not revived (This fact exclude Igor, who will always be in Persona).

So far I don’t get any other info. But I’ll keep posting when I found one that is crucial or important.

In the long history of agriculture, we have been used to utilizing traditional feed ingredients such as soybean meal, corn, urea and mineral supplements to feed livestock. Nowadays with ethanol plants thriving across the United States, more and more cattle producers are beginning to weigh the effects of some kind of substitute for traditional feed ingredients. So ethanol byproducts come into their mind. The byproduct called “wet distiller’s grains with soluble” or WDGS is thought to has great potentially economic benefits.

Agricultural Research Service (ARS) scientists at U.S. Meat Animal Research Center (USMARC) did some research on the effects of using WDGS on cattle performance, meat quality and environmental impacts which people are concerned about! As for cattle performance and meat quality, studies show that steers fed diets with 20 or 40 percent WDGS, performance and meat quality are equal to or better than the control group. At the same time, Microbiologist Vince Varel’s study indicates that as the concentration of WDGS increased in diets, greater concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur appeared in the manure. These increases in N, P, S raise the potential for phosphorous runoff and increased the presence of malodorous compounds!

The research shows that the WDGS may offer an inexpensive alternative to traditional feed ingredients. So the WDGS seems to be a promising feed ingredient. However, as far as I’m concerned, the research is still in the initial stage and is insufficient to prove the potential interest, and more importantly, the threaten. Thus the value of the WDGS still remains to be seen. As we have not recovered from bovine spongiform enceohalopathy (BSE), which results in more serious consequence by the use of the powder feed of the mad-cow’s bones, new use of a feed ingredient must be taken into careful consideration.

Marriage and Children

None of the women departed from conventional expectations regarding marriage and children. Indeed, a few thought it strange that such a question would be posted at all. When 26-year –old Benardita, a garment factory worker with a 3-year–old daughter, replied simply, “Isn’t it when you get married, you want children?” she was voicing the sentiment of every single woman in this group. Milagros, a humanities instructor, echoed cultural dictates similarly: “I know you don’t go into marriage simply for companionship. Sooner or later you’ll have a baby.” To be sure, the reasons for desiring children differed according to class and access to resources – material and social. Popular wisdom and social scientists rightly interpret the notion of children as “gifts from God” as predicated on the economic utility of offspring in a social system offering its members little or no public assistance (Yu and Liu 1980:218; Sevilla 1983).
Teresita a garment factory worker with a 9-year-old boy saw her child as “an inspiration,” someone who “gives me energy to wake up in the morning.” This motive for having children, in fact punctuated the women’s utterances, regardless of their class niche. Consuelo, a squatter dweller with nine children ranging in age from 2 to 21, told me that she wanted children “para sa kaligayahan” (for happiness), implying by her tone that surely, since I am a mother too, I would understand that.

Experience of Pregnancy and Childbirth

It is perhaps not unusual that, because of the naturalization of motherhood in general, these women’s accounts of their experiences with pregnancy and childbirth are marked by a calm acceptance of pain and suffering.

Childcare

Class differences emerged rather clearly as well in the task of caring for the child or children. When asked about who does what in childcare, this is how Jinky, full-time mother of two and wife of a corporate executive, responded: “During the first month I breast-fed and changed diapers. My husband began changing diapers during the second month. We expose our children to music and books. We never, never baby talk. When Boyet was 1 year old, he had a vocabulary of 300 words, and was able to read quite early. According to my sister, this is quite unusual.”

Impact of Children on Life at Home and Outside

On the whole, the responses to the question about the impact of the first child on life at home centered on positive aspects. It would have been surprising had it been otherwise, since children are regarded as a natural accompaniment of marriage.

Good and Bad of Motherhood

When the women were asked about the disadvantages of motherhood, only Carmina refused the question, reiterating her equation of marriage with children: “When you marry, you have kids, that’s it. You can’t look at it from a negative point of view.”

Ideal Mother

To draw out their conceptualizations of a good mother, I posed to the women a variety of questions, including what they thought a mother’s most important functions were and whether motherhood entailed sacrifice. I discovered that I had to do this because, as encapsulated as they all were in maternal ideology, few had previously reflected on the subject. Several openly stated that, in truth, they had not thought about the status of motherhood at all; this included Tess, the bank officer, and Milagros, the college instructor. Consequently, a few of the statements elicited were initially abstract in character, such as, “a good mother is one who gives love and does everything” (Manuela), or, “a good mother is someone who sees to it that children are well directed in keeping with Filipino values” (Milagros). When asked about a mother’s most important functions, however, the replies assumed a more concrete shape: “give enough to eat, even though life is hard”; “attend to them by themselves”; “not delegate the care of sick children to the husband.”

In the world of the “Seasoned Singles”, not only is the selection of male partners far from numerous, but it makes a woman wonder, are most men attracted to the demure, shy type gal or one who is authentically transparent?

Somewhere....out there....

Of course these comments are coming from a female perspective and should be taken with a “grain of salt” remember. But it seems to me most women I have met that are “seasoned” and also available either divorced or a widow, ponder the same question.

You see, for the most part, women are the organizers and coordinators within the family structure, the one who keeps all things running well, no conflicting schedules with her mate or with their children, she has the innate ability to multi-task at a moments notice. To re-arrange plans and schedules and at the same time be making mental notes of the to do notes for the week to follow. It’s amazing. Maybe that’s why God really created Eve, huh? To be Adam’s “domestic engineer” a phrase often quoted with bragging rights in today’s society.

Once the woman is alone, she has to pick up all the slack, well actually guys do too…..there is no longer anyone to share the weekly chores and duties, no other income to add to the coffers to pad the lifestyle and enable either of them to just plain do things to enjoy life, belts have to be tightened and rightfully so.

It seems within a 2-3 year period of mourning or recovery the man in the equation is ready to try again and utilizes most of his brain cells in hot pursuit of the “hottest looking babe”. The separation process from the opposite sex has already implemented a huge weight control program, “divorce dieting” where pounds seem to effortlessly slip away, bodies become more toned due to an increase in walking and exercise to remove stress and because there is not a whole lot to really do, they subconsciously miss their other half, perhaps. They must think ahead and plan, something that is not inborn in their species, they are the protectors, the providers, the hunters.

Before you know it the male species has connected with a female. Perhaps a rebound relationship or maybe one of desperation or boredom or out of laziness, not wanting to do “everything” anymore.

And the females, the majority, keep on keeping on…..they shoulder more responsibilities, have to handle more survival costs, look for additional jobs because it is a statistic women are paid 73% less then men, it’s a huge adjustment to be made on both sides. During the process, the female builds her own interests which she never knew she had for years and discovers she can be quite self reliant, independent.She relishes the fact she can trash her home for a week, spend part of one day bringing it up to snuff, eat what she wants, when she wants, doesn’t need to seek approval before making plans…..and soon, she is independent for the first time in her life, and loving it!

Or…..is she? In her heart of hearts the being that has been the nurturer, the giver of care, the organizer finds her self adjusting quite well to her alone time but suffering beyond description at the “loneliness” stirring inside her. She misses affection, cuddling, road trips, companionship, communication with the sex with often the opposite view. She misses the little things flowers just because, little surprises and trips planned together. She misses having someone to make homemade chicken soup for and to wait on when they’re ill. She begins to realize her “love tank” is operating on less then a quarter tank, she wants more, she needs more, she needs someone to listen…..to hold her…..to be supportive of her dreams and goals.…someone to “bounce creative ideas off” or cook a new recipe for. She craves the good feelings that come with being part of a couple.

In reflection, the relationship previously might not have been that great, but there was one….between a man and a woman….between two. Now there is only the solitary companionship in her life, unless she has a cat or a dog.

So………she also begins her search for “Mr. Right”….hoping their paths will cross, believing he will drop into her lap from out of the blue, like in the movies,(remember “Sleepless in Seattle” or “While You Were Sleeping”.…great chick flicks)……she waits, she works, she transforms who she was into who she is becoming with the same emptiness she felt within the previous relationship. She learns. And she begins to try again.

She ponders, researches, accumulates shelves of self help books on finding the real you or the love of your life and begins to venture out in the world. Scared silly, wondering if she will be able to determine if there are “red flags” let alone what to do if she sees one or more. She has to determine whether she wants to continue to be who she has become, who’s she’s blossomed into like a gently opening flower full of authenticity and humor and a zest for living life, with her ideas and emotions so ever transparent. Or does she want to claim the demure, shy role of needing to be rescued by Prince Charming on his white stallion, the role of not being able to care for herself or worse play the part of the “gold digger” who’s only passion tends to be accumulating stuff and financial gain?

So again I pose the question, which kind of women I just described are the most desired by the available male species and why? Now guys, you’ll have to give up your “box couch seats at the ballgame” and turn the TV off and actually think about this…..We seasoned women value and need your input.

It’s not that we want to become someone we are not, it’s that we need to know what you find most desirable so we can choose to add a particular form of behavior or thinking to our repertoire, resume of “must have qualities” in this “seasoned singles competition” many of us will become engaged in.

It’s easier to set our sights, I mean goals….ahem, if we know the men on the planet well enough to present ourselves in the best light possible. At least it might give us an edge so to speak among the fierce competition we face out there. Is one characteristic more desirable then another? In the “game of life” and of “love” the better equipped a female is to access her competitors, the more her self esteem is enhanced and the more desirable she will become. So help us out here guys, which is more attractive to you, Demure Debra or Authentic Amelia?

Remember the goal of both sexes, to NOT repeat the problems of the last relationship, but to have learned from them and welcome the opportunity of experiencing entirely new, and different ones. There are various methods through which we can treat autism. Actually autism is not a disease, it is a disorder which cannot be completely cured. Are available online the results of the third edition of the annual Email Marketing Census, the largest UK survey of email marketers, conducted in January and February 2009.

The research has highlighted some results that leave truly speechless. They were briefly resumed by Graham Charlto in a very interesting post:

• First, it seems that 42% of companies surveyed did not know what kind of return they were getting from their email marketing efforts.
• Also, as perhaps even more surprising, almost 20% of email marketers in the U.S. have no idea on the results of their campaigns as they are neglecting to track ROI.

It ’s obvious that untilthe situation will remain like this, email marketing will never be considered by companies as one of the more important tools available for attract and retain customers.

Datran Media, in its third annual survey on Marketing and Media subjected to industry experts, says that 80% of respondents affirmed that email marketing is the most effective promotional channel. Abstract:
In corporate finance and valuation, we start off with the presumption that the riskfree rate is given and easy to obtain and focus the bulk of our attention on estimating the risk parameters of individuals firms and risk premiums. But is the riskfree rate that simple to obtain? Both academics and practitioners have long used government security rates as riskfree rates, though there have been differences on whether to use short term or long-term rates. In this paper, we not only provide a framework for deciding whether to use short or long term rates in analysis but also a roadmap for what to do when there is no government bond rate available or when there is default risk in the government bond. We look at common errors that creep into valuations as a consequence of getting the riskfree rate wrong and suggest a way in which we can preserve consistency in both valuation and capital budgeting.
