Bewust worden van uw gedachten, uw gevoelens en uw gedrag. Als u iedere dag oefent zult u merken dat het u veel oplevert en u steeds gelukkiger wordt. Wat kost het? Niets! Het is gratis. U investeert in uzelf, u plukt er ook zelf de vruchten van! Daarnaast heeft ook uw omgeving er profijt van. Er zijn alleen maar winnaars!<br />
Iedere week schrijf ik tips in mijn gratis e-zine, op mijn website kunt u zich hiervoor inschrijven. U kunt de tips in willekeurige volgorde gebruiken. <strong><br />
Glimlachen.</strong></p>
<p>Vorige week hebben we het over lief zijn gehad. Wat hierbij ook goed helpt is glimlachen. Glimlachen naar uzelf als u voor de spiegel staat. Glimlachen en of groeten naar de mensen die u op straat tegenkomt. U zult zien dat als u vriendelijk bent u ook positieve en vriendelijke reacties terugkrijgt. Glimlach als u bijvoorbeeld kinderen leuk met elkaar ziet spelen en dit bij u een prettige herinnering oproept. Glimlachen naar onze geliefden. Als we glimlachen worden er spieren aangespannen die ervoor zorgen dat ons gezicht er ontspannen en vriendelijk uitziet, maar er worden ook stoffen in onze hersenen vrijgemaakt die ons een prettig gevoel geven! Probeert u maar eens uit: Als u merkt dat u boos of gefrustreerd wordt: glimlach! En houdt deze glimlach vast. U zult merken dat het niet mogelijk is om boos te worden! Maar ook als u voelt dat u verdrietig of depressief wordt: glimlach! Het helpt. Vaak is er geen reden om boos te worden. U kunt gewoon zeggen wat u niet bevalt en aangeven hoe u het graag wenst. U houdt het gesprek gaande en de ander zal beter bereidt zijn naar u te blijven luisteren! Boos worden levert veel stress op voor ons lichaam en veel stress is niet goed voor ons. Stress hebben we alleen nodig als er gevaar dreigt. Als u verdrietig bent omdat u een bijvoorbeeld dierbare verloren heeft, is het normaal om verdrietig te zijn. Huilen op dat moment helpt ons om ook deze soort van stress af te bouwen. Maar als u niet weet waarom u eigenlijk verdrietig bent: glimlach! Als u niet weet waarom u een beetje zwaarmoedig bent: glimlach! Het glimlachen helpt ook, door de stoffen die vrijkomen, om een keerpunt te bereiken en weer actief te worden. Glimlachen doen  we  ook als een manier van medeleven, bedankje, herkenning en erkenning. Glimlachen werkt ontwapenend en levert voordeel op. Als we gemeend glimlachen worden we bijna automatisch als een vriendelijk persoon ervaren en ontvangen. We krijgen meer voor elkaar. U heeft dit vast wel eens in de praktijk meegemaakt. Glimlachen werkt ook na. Het is niet alleen op het moment zelf als u glimlacht, dat u er voordeel van heeft. De stoffen die vrijkomen werken even daarna nog door. Het is ook een soort beloning voor ons. Immers het geeft ons een prettig gevoel. En dat willen we vaker hebben! Dus met glimlachen belonen wij onszelf ook, wat tot gevolg heeft dat we meer gaan glimlachen!</p>

<p><strong>Lief zijn.</strong></p>
<p>Lief zijn levert veel voordeel op, voor iedereen. Er heerst een prettige sfeer, iedereen is bereid tot samenwerken, men is vergevingsgezinder, men heeft meer plezier met elkaar enz. enz. Toch is lief zijn voor veel mensen niet zo vanzelfsprekend. Men vindt het moeilijk, soft, of weet niet hoe het moet: lief zijn. Lief zijn voor elkaar begint met lief zijn voor jezelf. Immers als u niet weet hoe u lief kunt zijn voor uzelf, kunt u het lief zijn ook niet uitdragen naar anderen. Hoe doet u dat? Lief zijn en wat wordt ermee bedoeld? Lief zijn betekent in dit geval: Niet zo streng zijn voor uzelf, niet zo hoge eisen aan uzelf stellen, wat milder zijn in uw oordeel over uzelf, doen wat goed voor u is, af en toe om uzelf kunnen lachen, niet altijd alles zo serieus nemen. Als u in staat bent om lief te zijn voor uzelf, bent u ook in staat om: niet zo streng te zijn voor anderen, niet zo hoge eisen aan anderen te stellen, wat milder te zijn in uw oordeel over anderen, ook iets te doen wat goed is voor een ander, ook eens kunnen lachen om die ander. Om lief te kunnen zijn voor uzelf heeft u een realistisch zelfbeeld van uzelf nodig. Lief zijn voor uzelf is niet zo moeilijk als velen denken. Ga maar eens voor de spiegel staan en zeg tegen uzelf: “Goh, meid (kerel), je ziet er helemaal niet zo slecht uit vandaag. Ik denk dat ik wel een beetje (of heel veel) van je hou en ik ga vandaag eens een leuke dag hebben.”  Ook al vindt u dat u er op dit moment niet zo goed uitziet. Bedenk: Wat zou u tegen een vriend of vriendin zeggen die vindt dat ze er niet zo goed uitziet? Als u vindt dat u iets heel stoms gedaan heeft, ga u zelf dan niet onnodig de grond in trappen. U heeft dan iets gedaan wat misschien niet zo handig was, maar dat is geen reden om over uzelf een vernietigend oordeel uit te spreken! Gebruik deze gelegenheid om erover na te denken hoe u het een volgende keer anders en meer effectief kunt aanpakken. Ook is het handiger om niet steeds te hoge eisen aan uzelf te stellen. U bent een mens, u mag fouten maken, u bent hier om te leren. Alles moet niet perfect zijn, want alles is al perfect zoals het is. Het is ons oordeel of wij vinden dat iets perfect is.  Wat voor de één perfect is, is voor een ander goed genoeg. U kunt niet aan alle eisen van uzelf en anderen voldoen. Tevreden zijn met goed, is óók goed. Probeer er een tevreden gevoel aan over te houden als u iets gepresteerd heeft!  Ook al is het nog zo klein! U heeft het goed gedaan en beloon uzelf daarvoor!</p>

<title><![CDATA[3.2 BiS Loot Lists... I can has?]]></title>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Today was extended maintenance and I&#8217;m nowhere near sleeping so I decided that I should go back over my BiS gear list for Laeyla. I lucked out and the same person who got me through 3.1 with their fantastic list on PlusHeal also posted one for 3.2. I highly suggest you guys <a href="http://plusheal.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&#38;t=4431" target="_blank">check it out</a> if you need any help with gear. After about 15 minutes I realized that I&#8217;m only 3 drops away from having all my BiS pieces pre-hardmode and outside of the dreaded T9.5.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m kinda torn on what to do about this T9.5 predicament. I have been doing lots of reading on PlusHeal about their thoughts on the set bonuses and most people have said that they&#8217;re not all that interested in them. They&#8217;re focusing on getting the off-set pieces first before trying to obtain the highly sought after trophies. I think thats the route I&#8217;m going to take. I have one trophy sitting around in the bank with my legs, which I won in a lucky VoA25. I&#8217;m just in no rush to move into my next tier set.</p>
<p>I seem to always be behind a tier set. When Ulduar came out I was good in my all gold T7.5. While working my way through there I had collected my T8.5 gloves and helm and also got the T8 shoulders from Uld10 since I didnt think I&#8217;d be getting Yogg25 down anytime soon, but I was always one piece short of being in my 4pc T8.5 set. All I needed was the pants. However when ToC came out and was so damn easy, no one was doing Ulduar25 anymore. I realized that wow&#8230; I&#8217;m still wearing this gold getup in ToC &#62;.&#62; It was kind of embarassing. I took an entire day doing theorycraft in my Popink notebook. I didn&#8217;t know if I should just get the chest with my badges or what. Eventually though I made the decision to go with the T8 legs from Hodir10 and luckily they dropped that week. I also went the new Bubble Spec which works really well with that 4pc bonus.</p>
<p>So now here we are again. Another set of Tier to move into. This time though I could easily get it, its just so lackluster to me. Yeah I&#8217;ll get more cusion from the bonus to the FoL HoT, but I&#8217;m losing the HoT from Holy Shock. I think I&#8217;d much rather have the shield proc more often and as I said before other Holy Paladins tend to agree. I would kill for a better 2 set bonus on the T9&#8230; then I could replace my 10manT8  pieces for the 25man T9.5 pieces.</p>
<p>Oh well though! Moving on&#8230;</p>
<p>Since it took me a short time to go over the BiS Holy List, I tried to take a peek at a similar list for Retribution. Oh yeah I guess I never mentioned that! I decided to dual-spec as Retribution a few months back just to make it easier while farming, doing my dailies, etc. Plus it gave me a whole new closet of gear to collect and kept me pretty occupied for those last few months of Uld10 runs. Her set really isn&#8217;t all that, which is why I was looking for a ranking list. Unfortunately though I couldn&#8217;t seem to find one as good as my Holy List. Naturally Elitist Jerks has a pretty good list that seperates Harmode from ToC25 normal&#8230; but I don&#8217;t think a lot of melee dps gear is going to be rolled for offspec. So if anyone knows a good place to check one out, please let me know! I might make a list of my own if I have the time, if so I&#8217;ll put it here. I&#8217;d also like to add a nice Ret Pally Blog to my Blog Roll so I&#8217;m looking for one of those too.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll be honest though, I havent really been putting as much time into my Pally as of late. I raid with her through the week and do her cooking/fishing daily (when I remember at least &#62;.&#60;) and then I&#8217;m always on my mage the rest of the time. Mainly because my mage needs so much more work than my Pally. I do a lot of things on my mage and actually have fun with them.</p>
<p>Like omg Sons of Hodir dailies! I never had to do those on Laeyla, she&#8217;s an inscriptionist. Mari is on her own though and I&#8217;ve been doing those every day. She needs REP again&#8230; and not just rep.. but EMBLEMS. Tons and Tons of Emblems! Heroics have a point to them again and I don&#8217;t even mind doing them. Not to mention the cooking/fishing daily on her. Argent Tournament too! When AT came out the first time Laeyla already had her Ambassador title. Now I can actually benefit from all that free city rep.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m having the same problem with her as well though with a definitive gear list. I found a couple for Fire Mages but they don&#8217;t really coinside with Arcane. I have most of the badge pieces and I&#8217;m hoping to start getting her into some ToC pugs (argh! more on that in another post) so I&#8217;d like to know what I&#8217;m looking for.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve checked out MaxDps but a lot of people frown upon that site. I used it a little for both Laeyla&#8217;s Ret set and for Mari, but my main complaint is that it seems really outdated. I think it was listing Retribution as using Seal of Command and Arcane as being ABx3 + Frostboltx3&#8230; both are way off.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll keep looking though and post any updates I find here, at least until I find more Arcane Mage/Ret Pally blogs to lurk!</p>

<p><strong>Een stap terug.</strong></p>
<p>Het leven van alledag is tegenwoordig één grote rat-race. We vliegen van hot naar her. Alles moet gisteren klaar zijn en mensen hebben nergens tijd meer voor. Mensen worden steeds ongeduldiger. Herkenbaar? Troost u, het is niet wat alleen tegenwoordig zo voelt. Dit gevoel is van alle tijden. Onze ouders hebben hun tijd net zo ervaren zoals wij nu doen. De maatschappij is door de jaren heen ook aan het versnellen. Eerst gingen mensen te voet, toen werd de fiets uitgevonden, de auto, de trein, het vliegtuig, de raket……….En wij versnellen mee. Als u lekker in uw vel zit en u gaat mee met de flow, is dit heerlijk en kan alles niet snel genoeg gaan. Maar wat, als u die flow kwijtraakt, of niet vindt? Dan is het tijd om eens een stap terug te doen. Even uitstappen uit de trein of auto en met de fiets of te voet verder gaan. Even een stap terug doen, een versnelling langzamer schakelen. Even pauze nemen en overdenken wat u aan het doen bent en wat de reden is dat het niet gaat zoals u het graag wilt. Wat heeft u niet effectief genoeg gedaan? Wat kunt u anders kunnen doen? Heeft u invloed op de omstandigheden? Wat is uw bijdrage? Niet de oorzaken bij anderen zoeken, maar bij uzelf. Die anderen rijden wel door. U bent diegene die even niet meekan. Dat is niet erg, het is juist goed om af en toe een stap terug te doen. Het dwingt u om eens goed na te denken met wat u allemaal aan het doen bent en, wat nog belangrijker is, of u het wel allemaal op deze manier wilt! Komt u tot de conclusie dat er wat verandert dient te worden en heeft u hiervoor ook de oplossing dan kunt u weer in de auto of trein en rijdt u weer met volle vaart verder. Weet u nog niet zo goed wat u wilt of weet u nog geen oplossing? Dan heeft u altijd nog de mogelijkheid om hulp van een ander in te roepen. Vraag eens aan een ander hoe die het probleem opgelost heeft of op zou lossen! Er zijn vaak meer oplossingen beschikbaar, alleen zien we ze vaak niet omdat we er simpelweg niet aan denken! We zijn gefocust op die ene manier, zoals we het altijd al gedaan hebben, en dan helpt het soms als we de weg aan een ander vragen. Dit kan een vriend of vriendin zijn, een kennis of familielid. Weten ook deze mensen geen oplossing dan kunt u altijd nog de hulp van een professional inroepen. En heeft u uiteindelijk de oplossing gevonden, kunt u weer in de auto of trein stappen om met volle vaart weer verder te gaan met uw leven!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>I know usually we more experienced players are the ones trying to give advice to the noobs.  Sometimes they take it and learn, and sometimes&#8230;well, we&#8217;ve all met the others.</p>
<p>But I&#8217;ve had the unique experience this week of being a noob again.  I have a  slight case of Altaholism (it really is very slight compared to a lot of you!), and got my third alt to 80 this week.</p>
<p>When I leveled Ambermist, I was a pure, unadultered boon.  I remember turning to my then boyfriend, coach, and forever mageboy Ultraking and asking him how to get a farm and why anyone would want to go &#8220;farming&#8221; in a video game.  Westfall was still exciting, and the day I learned you could eat and drink at the same time (thank you for loading screen tips, Blizz!) was a really great day.</p>
<p>When I leveled my mage, I mostly understood the dynamics of the game, and I had a pro mage in my pocket to give me advice on the way up.</p>
<p>But now I have a paladin at 80.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ll tell ya, leveling was cake.  Sorry, paladins, you are all freaking overpowered.  I love it, and soloing 99% of the group quests from <a href="http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=88" target="_blank">Princess in Elwynn</a> to <a href="http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=12249" target="_blank">Ursoc in Grizzly Hills</a> made for a fun and easy trip through Azeroth.</p>
<p>Now I&#8217;m at the instance stage, working on gearing her up.  She&#8217;s dual specced prot/ret, so I&#8217;m dpsing the harder instances and tanking the easier ones.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m  used to going into a heroic and roflstomping it, so learning to play a new class and a mostly new role has been a challenge and a treat.  I&#8217;m currently specced to tank on Amber, it&#8217;s true, but because of some very lucky drops and an occasional shortage on leather-wearing melee, I was already in full epic ilvl 200-245 gear the day I specced for bear.  There wasn&#8217;t a real learning curve.  I walked into the first few heroics I tanked, got back into the rotation, which is still pretty similar to what it was in BC, and learned my new abilities.  I&#8217;m pretty sure no one in those PuGs would have known I hadn&#8217;t tanked since BC if I hadn&#8217;t told them.</p>
<p>My pally is a different story.  It&#8217;s a whole new set of abilities I&#8217;ve had to learn and master.  A new way of itemzing, of pulling, and of maintaining aggro.  Not to mention that regular ToC PuGs are full of other new 80s, and I&#8217;ve been reminded of why I used to cringe in horror when someone suggested a PuG.  I&#8217;ve been in several fail groups lately, but I&#8217;ve also been in some really good ones.</p>
<p><img class="alignleft" title="noob" src="http://www.pinkkryptonite.com/images/pinkkryptonite/noob1nw8.jpg" alt="" width="197" height="129" />Here are the things I&#8217;ve learned about being a noob:</p>
<p>1)  Being a noob is okay.  It takes time to learn how to play WoW, and it takes time to learn a new class, even if you&#8217;re experienced.</p>
<p>2)  Admitting that you are a noob can be good.  It takes some humility to admit that you don&#8217;t always know what you&#8217;re doing and that you might very well screw up.  No matter how many times you&#8217;ve gone over your rotation, there&#8217;s going to be a moment where a mob runs loose and you completely forget that <a href="http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=62124" target="_blank">Hand of Reckoning</a> is bound to your G key, and you might panic. It&#8217;s okay to apologize for the blunder and laugh it off.  It&#8217;s definitely 100 times better than pretending you&#8217;re super leet and that it&#8217;s everyone else&#8217;s fault (you&#8217;d be surprised how many times I&#8217;ve see that reaction this week; or maybe you wouldn&#8217;t).</p>
<p>3) Having friends on the inside can be a big help.  One of the coolest things that happened this weekend didn&#8217;t happen to me directly.  When I asked in guild if anyone had a low-level alt that might like to run regular UP, a guildy whispered me and asked me to invite his friend.  Her response to me was, &#8220;one sec, I need to check his level of insanity.&#8221;  Turned out she had been retired from the game for a long time, and didn&#8217;t know the instance.  I explained the boss fights to her, and she came through it like a pro.  Bonus: <a href="http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37038" target="_blank">she got a great new wand</a>, and I was pretty happy for her.</p>
<p>This has also worked for me.   I&#8217;ve been watching guildies with paladins in action very closely this week and asking for advice from sources that I trust, and whose experience I can see with my own eyes every week.</p>
<p>4) /Friend is&#8230;well, it&#8217;s your friend.  If you end up in a good PuG, or even a crappy PuG that has a <a href="http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Durotan&#38;n=Vileone" target="_blank">shining star</a> in it, put those people on your friend list.  Most of them will probably not become permanent fixtures in your WoW experience, but a few might become frequent fliers, and you&#8217;ll find yourself getting invited to instance farming runs or with a healer who&#8217;s always ready and eager to come along.</p>
<p>5) Enjoy being a noob!  Leveling a character or an alt breathes new life into the game.  I was so excited when I hit 80 that I spent most of my time for the next three or four days making and buying gear, running instances, and playing around with her professions.  It probably won&#8217;t be long before she&#8217;s just another toon for me, so I want to enjoy her shiny newness while it&#8217;s still available.</p>

<p>However, in news from the Battle Chicken front, I did run ToGC 10 this weekend and got a couple of really good upgrades (and <a href="http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=3808" target="_blank">A Tribute to Skill</a> to boot!).  I&#8217;m eager to see if they make a difference in the raid tonight, so cross your fingers for me, my fellow moonkin.</p>

<p>In my last post I mentioned that Attack Power could be gained from your talent trees.  So here are some thoughts about talent trees.  If you are level 80 and not sure about how to spec out you Ret Pally take a look at the talent trees of the top Ret Pallys in your guild and your server.  Most likely those Ret Pallys have an affective tree that helps in generating Attack Power and Damage Per Second.</p>
<p>Ok if you aren’t level 80 you have some decisions to make.  Neither of these two philosophies are wrong it’s just a matter of what works for you.  I’ve noticed that people approach the talent tree in one of two ways.</p>
<p>First is the person who wants to get to the bottom of the tree as fast as possible.  These players put minimum points into talents just to activate the next tree until they get to the bottom then they go back and max out the abilities.</p>
<p>The other person maxes out the abilities fully and starts a new level of the tree after they’ve maxed out the current level.  Either way you’ll end up at the same place with that last talent point at level 80.</p>
<p>No matter what technique you like there are some talents you want pick up as a Retribution Paladin.</p>
<p>The 15% strength is a must have from Devine Strength; Protection tree.  See previous post if you don’t understand why.</p>

<p>After years of construction the new metro station is open in Rotterdam <em>Central Station</em>. The newplatform is a respite for travellers. High ceilings, white walls and a lot of bright and even colourful lights give the platforms a fresh and modern appearance. This in combination with the fact that the platforms and stairs are wide, gives the travellers a sense of freedom that can not be equaled in many of the older metro stations. I have not met anyone who is not happy with it.</p>

<p>Rotterdam Central Station is the home of the <em>Erasmus</em> <em>line</em>. This is Rotterdam’s oldest subway line, which was opened on February 9, 1968 by <em>Princess Beatrix</em> and her husband <em>Prince Claus</em>. It is also called the <em>North-South line</em>. At the opening in 1968 it was one of the world&#8217;s shortest subway lines: only 5.9 kilometers between Rotterdam Centraal and shopping center <em>Zuidplein</em> on the left bank. In 2007 the Erasmus <em>RandstadRail</em> Line service on the route <em>Hofplein</em> &#8211; <em>Den Haag</em> <em>Centraal</em> became operational. An extension to Rotterdam Centraal is planned to be operational in 2010.</p>

The RET was developed by American Dr. Albert Ellis. The base is the ABC, abbreviations for the words:</p>
<p>The A-B-C is the basis of RET<br />
A Activating Event Situation<br />
B Beliefs Thoughts<br />
C Consequences Behavior and / or Emotions</p>
<p>The A-B-C works as follows.<br />
You have a situation, A.<br />
And in that situation you have behavioral or emotional what is bothering you, C.</p>
<p>For example:</p>
<p>A: You have a presentation next week (on your education or your work)<br />
C: Emotion: nerves, excitement.<br />
Behavior: procrastination. You&#8217;re not prepared, but  now there are always hiccups.</p>
<p>For you are your emotions and conduct a logical consequence of the situation. Indeed, since that presentation you must keep you so nervous.<br />
Your reasoning is correct in that, as you should not keep the presentation, you would not be nervous. But it is not automatically so that the holding of a presentation nerves and leads to massive procrastination. Indeed, there are other people &#8211; perhaps colleagues or classmates you know &#8211; not so nervous for a presentation. And that is just good to prepare.<br />
So in the same situation &#8211; A &#8211; is yet another possible behavior. That they show.</p>
<p> <br />
This means that your comment does not arise directly from the situation. There is still a step between, namely your thoughts (B) and on the situation. These thoughts cause behavior and emotions.</p>
<p>This intermediate step of thinking is very fast and for a large part unconsciously. Hence, you often fail in that situation you have many thoughts. Let alone the thoughts that cause undesirable behavior. You will be aware of these thoughts, you want the cause of your unwanted behavior or feeling in the trace.</p>
<p>Back to the example of the presentation<br />
What thoughts can haunt in your head that make you so nervous and you are not going to prepare? For example:</p>
<p>Oh my, soon I can not remember what to say and then I&#8217;m off like a watering can!<br />
If I&#8217;m going to prepare and then I&#8217;m nervous I can not stand it.<br />
I pretend I do not have to keep that presentation, then I need also not worry about it.<br />
Suppose I do not, then everyone laughs at me.<br />
It&#8217;s hard with these thoughts in your head is nervous!</p>
<p>What would that others, not so in panic, thinking now? For example:</p>
<p>Exciting, a presentation. But with proper preparation I make something of it!<br />
Fun just to tell you what my findings.<br />
I am also a little scary, but that should not you?<br />
If I just do not remember, that&#8217;s annoying but I will get it out.<br />

<p>One big advantage: you have your own thoughts in the hand, the situation is not always. Some presentations, you simply hold. But your thoughts are yours and you can thus affect yourself. That you can reach by RET: replace old, non-constructive thoughts new ideas effectively. And so you get yourself in control.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>There seems to be a misconception about Anthony Robbins from people I talk to who have not used his information or programs. To the misinformed, he is tied to positive thinking.</p>
<p>Positive thinking is convincing yourself that things will work out. Even when tough times come, look for the positive. This train of thought can be a quick fix and “solve” concerns immediately. It does not involve any teaching, really, other than looking on the bright side of things. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, it&#8217;s preferred over the alternative&#8230;thinking negatively. </p>
<p>Re-conditioning your mind, on the other hand, retrains your thought processes. You realize that current situations with negative impacts do occur throughout life. Your re-conditioned mind views the situations differently and effectively. You experience less distress. You are in control of situations instead of them controlling you. It is not a quick fix. It takes repetition and training to reach this point.  (The training can sometimes be very boring). This is what Anthony Robbins does. He teaches you how to re-condition your mind. </p>
<p>This reminds me of a book titled “Rational Emotive Thinking” by Robert Ellis that I studied while minoring in psychology. That book stands out among others due to its making such sense to me. Reality is how we view and interpret it. In order to be successful, according to this psychological theory, we need to view situations rationally and not emotionally.</p>
<p>What is appealing about Tony Robbins&#8217; information (I purchased the Ultimate Edge and Money Masters series) is the fact it applies psychological theory. Even though I have studied numerous psychological theories throughout my educational career, I was not taught how to actually apply them in real-life. Thanks to Tony Robbins I have learned how to do that. It&#8217;s just too cool and very enlightening.</p>
<p>Re-conditioning the mind takes work, repetition and diligence. It is not easy. The training can sometimes be very boring. It can be fun, though. <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />   </p>

La palabra reality en España puede provocar rechazo a más de uno y de dos y las referencias que podemos tener de este señor provienen principalmente de las revistas del corazón (al menos las que yo tenía), pero debo confesar que lo ví y además con mucho interés.</p>

<p>Cada semana, los concursantes, 8 chicas y 8 chicos, que vivían en un apartamento de la Trump Tower de NY, repartidos en 2 grupos, competían tras recibir un encargo de Donald Trump. Los retos semanales trataban de evaluar las habilidades de comunicación, liderazgo, trabajo en equipo, capacidad para la toma decisiones y otros aspectos muy relacionados con los módulos de esta especialidad y tras un complejo proceso, uno de los miembros del equipo perdedor, era despedido tras una puesta en escena inolvidable.  El ganador final, dirigiría una de las empresas de Donald Trump, que pertenecen a distintos sectores: juego, inmobiliario&#8230;</p>
<p>El perfil de los concursante era variado: algunos empresarios, brokers, contables, directivos, con personalidades más o menos histriónicas (<a href="http://www.omarosa.com/"> inolvidable Omarosa</a>) y el proceso hasta la elección del ganador, apasionante.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration:line-through;">Mañana</span> lunes 28 comenzarála adaptación del concurso en España:</p>

<p>Die jeweils 6-seitigen A5-Broschüren wurden in den vergangenen Monaten gemeinsam mit dem IT-spezialisierten <a title="B2B-Texter" href="http://www.konzeptioner-texter.de" target="_blank">B2B-Texter</a> gestrickt – inhaltlich und visuell.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p style="text-align:justify;"><img class="alignleft" style="margin-left:10px;margin-right:10px;" src="http://www.hie.co.uk/2006-logos/hie-2008-logo-transparent.gif" alt="" width="179" height="81" />Since October 2008, the Scottish Government has been running, as a pilot programme, a scheme that subsidises fares on lifeline ferry services in the Western isles. This scheme is known as Road Equivalent Tariff (RET) and will run until spring 2011. The Scottish Government is seeking to assess the effectiveness of this scheme in supporting fragile island economies and whether there might be a long-term role for this kind of subsidy across the ferry network in Scotland As part of this process, information is needed regarding the views of businesses who use ferry services in the Western Isles.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>To collect this information, the Scottish Government has set up an online survey for those with an interest to complete. <p style="text-align:justify;">Since the scheme was implemented, <strong>visitors have enjoyed cheaper fares to Tiree </strong>with passengers up 8% and cars up 13%, all of which boosts the economy of the island. The Scottish Ministers recently said  <em>&#8220;I can give all Scottish islanders the assurance that we remain absolutely committed to ensuring the necessary transport links at affordable prices&#8221;</em></p>

<p>Through strong public pressure the Parliament has voted to pass the 20% renewable energy target legislation.</p>
<p>Finally Australia is making a big step towards a brighter, cleaner energy future. This is the first substantial piece of climate legislation passed by the Australian Parliament.</p>
<p>This is a big win for the environment and a big win for clean energy jobs. It means that more and more of the energy we use in Australia will be coming from renewable sources, such as solar, wind and geothermal.<!--more--></p>
<p>The Australian Conservation Foundation has been working vigorously for this since 2004. The renewable energy law is not perfect – we are disappointed more compensation has been granted to big polluters – but it&#8217;s a great start and we&#8217;ll keep working for higher targets and stronger laws to speed up the transition to a clean energy economy.</p>
<p>The key to this victory has been the great public support for renewable energy and strong action on climate change.</p>
<p>ACF Executive Director Don Henry said &#8220;The next major priority for our parliamentarians, in the months leading up to the crucial UN climate negotiations at Copenhagen in December, is to strengthen and pass the emissions trading legislation to show Australia is prepared to walk the talk on climate change action&#8221;.</p>
