Every time your friends would ask you about your expectation in the future. What do you want to be after 10 years after ? Maybe you are always thinking or you’re always being asked this repeated question, right. You would have chatting, gossip conversation around your friends. It is just a small talk about, maybe your life, your family and future. About me, I have been being in the conford state too long, maybe. There is nothing variations on my job or my family, so I wouldn’t think too far from now and you will become lazy guy until I get married. It is a turning point in my life. I believe more power you have and heavier responsibilities you would have. I have to take care my wife, and even both of my families, so now I am planning my retirement life.

I don’t know why retirement plan often comes to my mind frequently. Either I feel I’m close to retirement (mentally feeling old, but quantitatively I have to wait another 20 years easy for my retirement) or since I have been doing strategy work extensively, my sub conscience want to work on a plan for my life after 20-25 years in case if I continue to live that far. If I continue to live for some years after 25 years from now, this is what I’m planning to do (as of today) after retirement..

Part time lecturer in near by college to teach engineering physics (quantum mechanics in specific)

Maintain a farm (may be of size 25 acres) in my village (mostly with coconut trees)

Write a book on

South Indian farmer’s natural strategic thinking/thought process ( Some prestigious business school study on strategic planning and I believe the farmers who has 3-5th grade education in the villages thinking almost same or even in some cases better than the prestigious business school educated scholars)

How to live after you die?

Self discovery (who am I??)

Wicket keeping coach (or free wicket keeping training center)

Just today, I’m not going to eat between meals and I’m not going to take seconds. And I’ll weigh myself and use Nutribase and the tools of The Hacker’s Diet to help me reach (and keep) my goals.

And Just 4 Today, I’ll drink my fiber twice (done once), drink 2 liters of water (I’ve drunk about 1/2 liter), walk 2 miles (which I did yesterday), NOT eat between meals & NOT take seconds.

My pre-retirement-frazzle kept me from posting much last week. I had some sort of brain-lock and kept thinking, “Oh, just wait ’till this bit is behind you. Then start fresh.” Well, it can’t be any fresher than the First Monday….

I have had my fiber supplement and breakfast and brushed my teeth (you just had to know that, didn’t you?) I’ve got phone calls to make regarding a doctors appointment today and health insurance questions. And I’m trying to sort papers so that anything related to my old job doesn’t haunt me in my new life….

ANY suggestions for getting organized for a life style that’s totally new to me would be appreciated. My greatest fear is that I’ll fall into the habit of reading all day. For a sloth like me that would be all to easy.

What are you going to do today?
