Lanzarote Ocean Lava Triathlon

The countdown to the 2012 Ocean Lava event is well underway with a little over a week to the big day. With the start/finish and transition zone just around the corner from us, we will have a grandstand view of the race.

As with previous events, we will be operating our Triathlon Bike Clinic from Saturday 1st September right up until check in on the evening of Friday 7th, as well as being stocked up with all those essentials for athletes.

We still have some bikes available for those competitors who prefer to hire rather than bring their own on the plane. Just drop us a line here to check availability and prices.

After the surge in business over the Easter period, May and the first couple of weeks in June are traditionally the “quiet” months in Lanzarote. We use this time to replenish our stock – both rental bikes and retail items – and take stock of our offer against other bike shops in the area.

It’s great to see that we still offer the best value bike rental in Puerto del Carmen. On a like-for-like basis, our daily rental costs are €2-3 per bike less than other bike suppliers right across the range, and offer even greater savings for kids bikes, in some cases a whopping 50% cheaper!

In these times when we are all looking for ways to get the best value from everything – including our holidays – its nice to know you can have great days out cycling in Lanzarote courtesy of Puerto del Carmen’s top-rated bike shop.
