(Idelette’s note: Today we celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus, the greatest revolutionary and gift to the world ever. Danielle Strickland writes on the woman who gave birth to Jesus, a revolutionary in her own right. What a great perspective from a woman who does her part to incite a revolution for Jesus on the planet.)

Something About Mary
By Danielle Strickland

Recently at an afterschool club in an inner city neighbourhood we spoke about Mary. For protestants, the fear around worshiping Mary often crowds out a proper response at the amazing reality of Mary’s life story and witness. And I’d like to consider a couple of important things about her. Use them to reflect, emulate and well, just for plain inspiration.

Scripture: Luke 1

Gender
It is worth some consideration that the Jewish people have been waiting in silence for 400 years since the last prophetic announcement of a coming Messiah. That’s a long time to wait–exacerbated, I’m sure, by the occupation they now find themselves in. The fever for a Messiah had not been hotter. Apart from the miraculous intervention of oil in the Temple during the Maccabean revolt (which is symbolized in Hannukah), there was stunning silence from the Heavens. Until, Elizabeth prayed and Mary obeyed.

Then, all of heaven was loosed on earth, and the world would never be the same. In a Middle Eastern culture of degradation and oppression, in a religious system that pushed down women to the level of a dog–God shows up at their request, at their response and through their loving obedience to Him. This would be the time to write “wow” in the margin of your Bible. It’s epic.

William Booth (founder of The Salvation Army) once famously said, “(Some of) my best men are women” and most people think that he meant it as a grudging practical response to the enormous need–that he had to use women to get the job done. They’d be mistaken. William came to a conclusion, with many thanks to his heroic wife, Catherine, that women were God’s chosen vessel for Good News. Mary is the case in point, but it’s incarnation Good News–the event crowning the history of all events–the start of the good news through the birth of Jesus is announced by and established through a woman. The victory of Good News through the resurrection would also be the honour of women. A coincidence?

Both events are historical shifts–cosmic-sized moments of God communicating beyond words of His intention to redeem all of humanity–both of them done through women. To be sure men are also central to the story. Joseph deserves more than a Father’s Day nudge for his own obedience and accompaniment of Mary’s journey, Zechariah’s silence was helpful, and the offspring of both women were men of Great News and the twelve disciples etc… but the essential role that women have played in the ushering in of God’s kingdom come can’t be overstated. Yet, it’s often overlooked.

Economics
Back to my neighbourhood; an urban welfare housing estate full of first generation Australian immigrants whose parents are on the bottom rung of the economic ladder. As a result, the kids are not exactly the cream of the crop of civilized and educated young Australians. None of them are likely to win Australian youth of the year any time soon. As a matter of fact, the only extra curricular activities going on in this neighbourhood are free, volunteer-driven, inconsistent, and a bit lacking in quality. No offense to the volunteers of church groups that continue to fill the gap- but the reality of their lives lined up with the wealthier suburban kids in western worlds… well, it doesn’t compare. These kids are starting at a deficit.

I spoke with a camp leader years ago who was convinced that one of the best ways to change the nation was to target wealthy kids at his camps. He recognized that charity demanded care for the marginalized kids of the world – but in the real world… we ought to target those who would rise to be the future leaders, decision makers in the fabric of society. It’s an interesting angle. Mary was from the urban welfare masses. She lacked education, economic security and basic human rights. She was, well, poor. She was on the bottom economic rung of societies coveted money and status ladder.

You know how you can tell? Read her song. Do it. Read her song like you are with her in the proclamation of God’s kingdom come. The song reads like gangster rap lyrics from Compton but with Heavenly overtones. “Filled the hungry, but sent the rich away… lifted up the humble, and brought down the proud.” We may like to think of Mary as a postcard image of humility and meekness – but her lyrics may just give us a hint of her known oppressed state overturned by God’s intervention. Mary is a fighter – she fought the powers and won. She used obedience to God as a weapon against her enemies and from the bottom rung she began her climb. And in God’s kingdom come – she ends up in a great cosmic reversal on the top end of the ladder – shouting to all who will listen… good news, good news indeed! Jesus said it himself when he began his public ministry thirty some years later, although he borrowed an old pop favourite from Isaiah, “the spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has brought Good News to the POOR.”

Freedom fighter
There is a lot more about Mary that’s worth considering. Most things we’ve admired over the years: her obedience, her humility, her survival and dependence on the Lord, her favour with God, her faithful witness raising Jesus, her grief at his short life and tragic death. But this season–let’s take a few minutes to reflect on the revolutionary figure of Mary. Mary the freedom fighter, Mary the oppressed–set free. Mary, the poor girl from the bad side of town rising against the odds to defy the world’s system of power, defy the critics and become central in the great unfolding drama of God’s kingdom come. Now with that kind of news, there is something about Mary, indeed.

I offer my solidarity to the people of Venezuela and their current problems with the imperial powers of the world, most notably the united states of america.

Very Interesting Article Here

I would be surprised if anyone in the general population outside of the Bolivarian Alliance knew about these goings on but the details of american military build-up in the area are certainly disturbing.

It would be nice to hear an americans views on the matter, I am lead to believe even in the mainstream media that the current wars are not supported by the majority of americans, how would you react to operations in South America or Iran. How many more of your soldiers, who at the end of the day are just teenagers or young adults, are going to be killed in the name of free market capitalism. The exploitation of the occupied countries at the expense of american lives in exchange for profit.

The second part to the linked article is also very inspiring, every single time I have heard/read a Chavez speech he seems to talk absolute sense, and its true that although the US and European governments proclaim to be democratic, their recent actions by not being at all transparent about the COP15 meetings show their true colours.

Last year a poll was conducted in County Wicklow asked people who they feel is absolutely the greatest person in Ireland’s long history. The result: Anne Devlin. Anne who? Yes, Anne Devlin. She was a housekeeper in the employ of Robert Emmet, the great Irish revolutionary, in the 1800’s. Her real job, however, was to give a make Emmet’s home seem like a normal family abode when it was, in fact, a full-time meeting place for anti-British activists planning the famous uprising of 1803. Devlin was ultimately arrested by the British, tortured and thrown, along with her entire family, into Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin, a prison that was so squalid that seven of her relatives died there. Emmet himself urged her to confess in order to secure her release, but she refused to give over the names of any Irish insurgents. After three years in solitary confinement, she was released from prison (where she had seen Emmet beheaded), only to die in extreme poverty. Devlin was herself from County Wicklow, which may explain her surprising status among the respondents of this particular poll.

This one is out of order, chronologically. But since I assume no one has seen this blog more than once it shouldn’t be a big deal.

I saw Avatar. It was a very entertaining movie to watch. The graphics were great, and the way in which it was filmed was totally “revolutionary.” The main action scene was gripping, and it was the first time in a movie that, like a 3 and a half year old, I yelled. Perhaps it is the fact that I found myself spastically reacting to the action that I have a a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. No, it’s not me, it’s Hollywood.

Here’s what I didn’t like. I didn’t like how blatant the message was. I didn’t like that I didn’t have to pick up on what it was trying to say because it was pretty much spelled out for me. Earth is referred to as “their dying planet,” and is lamented by the wheelchair bound hero due to the fact that it no longer ” has any green.”

Also, I didn’t like that it pulled from just about every movie I have ever seen.

1) Smurfs: Because they’re blue.

2) Matrix: They’re asleep while living a life elsewere.

3) Every single “forbidden” love story.

4) Every single war movie where someone chooses to do what is right as opposed to what is ordered.

I can keep going if you want.

I say see the movie. It’s entertaining and action packed. Do your damndest to ignore the message being forced down your throat.

Yesterday (Sunday), I preached through the entire book of Luke looking at a Jesus who was good, and

Yesterday (Sunday), I preached through the entire book of Luke looking at a Jesus who was good, and who, by his goodness and justice, always provoked extreme responses. He either offended, insulted, provoked murderous rage, terrified (yes, terrified is the right word, the word fearful in Luke 8:25 is not nearly strong enough), or provoked worship.

(Here are a few passages to consider: Luke 4:28; 4:32; 5:20-21; 5:26; 6:11; 6:19; 7:17; 8:25; 11:37-54; 13:30-31; 19:38-40; 19:41; 19:45; 19:47; 23:34;23:44-47; Acts 2:22-38; 2:41).

Jesus is a greater revolutionary than Fidel Castro, Ché, or René Lésvesque combined. Here is my introduction (focusing on what it means to be a revolutionary… not politics):

Quebeckers honor Castro, Che, Lévesque, and other revolutionaries (Americans too have their collection of honored revolutionaries). But few mention Jesus in this same vein. Why?

I believe for two reasons:

1) Their eyes are veiled. They are spiritually blind (which is an offensive concept to many); and

2) they have heard an unbalanced description of the goodness, love, and compassion of Jesus which leaves Him looking soft and cuddly, without hearing about the justice, strength, in-your-face audacity, and power that He had (as God in the flesh), able to grapple with, and win against, the most evil forces this world has ever known.

This Jesus grappled not only with visible evil forces (like religious and political leaders), but overcame demonic oppression, a Satan-filled Judas, and death itself… all without firing a single shot.

Jesus Christ, the GREATEST REVOLUTIONARY

Merry Christmas

Here’s the first excerpt from Revolutionary due out here January 1, 2010.

“Do you remember having sex with me last night?”

“Sorta.” There are only a fistful of times I fully remember fucking Charlotte. I know bits and pieces, little fragments of pleasure and happiness, but I do not have a whole picture. Along with my sexuality, Charlotte has arisen my alcohol consumption. I think last night was in the computer room. I can’t remember what we did with the used condom. The whole end, actually, is blurry. Did she get off? Did Trina come home and walk in on us? Wait, were we naked? No, I think I remember wearing clothes at least, so was she wearing a skirt? The details leave me. I am as oblique and oblivious a lover as I am a human being.

“Don’t worry. It was wonderful, like always. Do you ever cum by the way?”

“Sometimes. Wait, do you want me to? Are you sick of orgasming?” I’ve been something of a dream lover with her. Fuck knows how it’s happened. She’s orgasmed every time we’ve had sex. I’ve never even been in the same room as an orgasming girl before Charlotte, let alone had my dick inside of one when it happened.

“It’d be nice to know you’re enjoying it too.”

“Trust me, I am.”

“I believe you, but you’re getting off next time.”

I smirk, trying to say, Whatever you say. “Is that it? I didn’t get off again? That could be all the alcohol we seem to drink before we fuck.”

“We’ll be sober next time.”

Fuck. There goes my excuse. It’s my duty to not get off during sex. Throughout history men have used women as semen receptacles. Fucked up but true. Only recently has it become socially acceptable for women to have orgasms, but it’s still unexpected. It’s a small gesture, but my not getting off is helping to bring about a balance to the tyranny of orgasm that’s existed throughout time. I love having sex with Charlotte. I love it. What I feel is an undeniably intense physical pleasure, but I can’t let myself get off. I do everything I can to prevent it. When I jerk it I use a deathgrip to kill off as many nerve endings as I can. When we’re actually fucking, when I’m there on the precipice of pleasure I start to think about baseball until I have my orgasm under control. I leave to go pee in the middle of it to make sure I don’t get too excited. Now I have to let go of all of that and blow my load. I’m getting horny just thinking about it.

There is a tech trend to watch and if you do nothing else in 2010 look into this tech trend. It is in the HI Tech end of science dealing with subatomic particles. Quantum Dot research has developed to the state where they are the next generation of semiconductors. Early phase companies such as Solterra Renewable Technologies, Inc. are bringing this technology to the forefront of development with innovative uses from flexible solar cells to the energy saving LEDs. This technology is truly revolutionary with uses and applications still being explored that will open doors to advances in medical, aerospace, waste heat recovery, biotechnology & optoelectronics. Jennifer Ouellette in 2003 wrote about the future of quantum dots and that the hold up was being able to produce commercial quantities. She saw the explosive potential as will you when you read the article and very last paragraph about drawing parallels between Quantum Dots and what the Polymers did to the plastics industry. http://www.aip.org/tip/INPHFA/vol-9/iss-1/p14.html

Companies in this field that will produce Quantum dots in commercial kilogram quantities like HGUE are well worth looking at.

The new CTO for Solterra, Dr. Bob Glass, when he was with Sun Microsystems in the 90’s used to give presentations about the advances and technology possibilities, today he joined the Solterra team so he can fulfill his aspirations as they are no longer a dream for the future. He now has the tools at his disposal and the on hands ability to bring those dreams into reality! It was once said over on Motley Fool the secret to making a fortune in the stock market was to identify a unique growth business poised to dominate a mass market? This one is slapping you in the face!

We managed to wrap up our discussion though with no definitive answer for either of our bickering. That is alright though in my opinion, since it leaves the topic open for more discussion and debate at a later date as well as for me to take the ideas we have here and run with them. Thank you all for keep up with this small commentary.

The Conversation

Patriot: I understand that I just don’t believe that we should throw away one of the most representative and democratic systems out because you don’t agree with what politicians are doing.

Revolutionary: Yet, it suffices as a good enough reason despite how much you are minimizing the argument. Another fact for that falls in, is on the grounds of how government limits the individual in number of ways. So, in such a way government should be cast aside for more a sake of liberty if nothing else at all.

Patriot: A good government does not limit the individual in anyway. The perfect government knows that it only exists to protect the rights of its people and for no other reason, which prevents it from acquiring too much power. When governments overstep that boundary and do more than that, even with good intentions, they bring themselves one step closer to a tyranny where the common man is stepped on in order to gain power.

Revolutionary: Ok, and the American government has not over-stepped these boundaries? I mean, it seems to me that it has. Though in any case, the government will step on the toes of the individual or minority in some way.

Patriot: It has, in my belief, over-stepped some of those boundaries, yes. However, I don’t think that a bloody revolution is necessary to fix that. And yes, the institution of a new form of government, even if it were to have no government, would be a bloody one.

Revolutionary: Well, I never asked for a revolution, but if there has to be one to change things than so be it. And a revolution of this kind would not be to terribly bad, but with the state at which the American society is at now, there will not be one soon.

Patriot: Styles of government fit onto a scale with one end being Anarchy with no government and the other end being Totalitarianism with everything being the government. No form of government has ever changed to one closer to anarchy without a revolution. How do you expect it to happen now?

Revolutionary: Well, I expect some sort of revolution, but the thing is that society is not ready for it yet. With the government reaching to the left at least in a socialistic way, people may start to see. Otherwise, all I can honestly do is bide my time.

Patriot: Bide your time…? You sound like some sort of evil genius. I totally agree with you though that a revolution is coming. Hopefully it will be a political, true republican revolution instead of a bloody one or one where no real change takes place.

Revolutionary: Well, it depends on the connotation of “biding my time”, I mean I am only stating I am willing to wait. Though, personally a revolution such as you hope for will not come since by now politicians are so far caught up with their own thing that it would take a series of just and pure individuals to purge the current system. Yet, I think society is against this. So, at least from what I can see is a revolution of the bloody kind.

Patriot: While you are most likely correct, I’m still going to hope.

Revolutionary: Just as I hope for anarchy.

Ok so I think lady gaga is my hero. I don’t think anyone else is as amazing as her. She has some reall meaning in most of her songs and she is really underrated and people need to stop giving her crap about her gender. Even if she was born with both parts I don’t see how on earth that would be her fault she’s a girl! And people say o she’s ugly! First of all have you seen robert pattinson? He’s ugly! But some people think he’s cute why are you gonna judge someones music on their looks!! “O she sings good but she’s ugly!” As if it makes a difference! And if you saw her video bad romance there is a sceen of gaga sans makeup and she is gorgeous in it! If you haven’t heard her song speechless then look it up because it is amazing! Who cares the way she dresses! Have you seen mary kate and ashley last time I heard from them they were dressed like hobos! BY CHOICE! So please get off of lady gaga and go criticize yourself in the mirror before you tear others down!

Here’s a trailer for Revolutionary, my first novel, due out here January 1, 2010 with a possible print edition to follow. It’s the perfect hangover cure. Keep checking back here between now and then for excerpts and other teasers.

“I can’t do that one. You do it.”

“No fucking way. I’m too fucking high. Charlotte, you take it.”

“Of course.” I bend down, stick the bill up my nose and snort the fattest line of the night. “Fucking hell.”

“I can’t believe you did that. How did you do all that?”

“I’ve got a bit of experience in these matters.”

“Right the fuck on. That’s so awesome.”

We dipped out of the show right as Unlearn was starting their set. Lisa’s roommate played first so our obligations for the evening were over early. Rich, who’s in her roommate’s band didn’t want to stick around either and invited us to a party. I consented to attending if and only if we would stop and buy more booze. That tiny little tall boy was a huge mistake. The rest of the band came along too. We got here and there was no party. Not a car nearby, not a light on in the house. But Rich’s friend said we were still welcome to hang out and then he said the most important part, that he had coke.

“Wow. Fuck. That’s it. That’s all of it. Jesus Christ. You kids are fucking nuts. I don’t think I had that much of that. Okay, maybe I had enough, but fuck. There was a lot. I don’t know how much, but a lot you fucking vacuums.” Steve, the host, with his sandals, white cotton robe and dreadlocks finds himself hilarious. I’m so coked out. He is not even remotely tolerable now that I’ve done the last of his drugs. He comes over and puts his hand on my knee and I almost fucking kill him. I’ve been pretty obviously all over Lisa all night. I’m on the verge of licking her pussy right here in the living room. Maybe he thinks he can get himself a piece of the hot lesbo action. I don’t fucking know. But I behave like a grownup and just tell him to get the fuck away from me. I do not break anything. He tosses his dreads and goes to sulk with one of the girls from the band. I stop making out with Lisa long enough to watch his advance. He runs his hands through his dreads and sits down near, but not too near Morika. He is so annoyingly, painfully obvious. He is the little boy jumping up and down on one leg in the store shouting, “Look at me! Look at me! Mommy! Look at me!” Morika ignores him too. He pouts off by himself somewhere. Lucky for him he provided the coke otherwise there’s a good chance someone would have sent him sinking to the bottom of Lake Merritt.

With Steve gone we’re able to actually have a decent conversation. Rich keeps talking about the videos he’s been watching lately, Morika is seeing vibrant colors and Lisa is consumed by pie. I mostly sit there and absorb, listening to everything around me like an auditorium. I can’t help but feel that Rich’s words are zeroing in on my head like a sniper rifle. Maybe it’s the coke. I run out of cigarettes and he keeps procuring smokes for me before I even realize I want one.

Rich and I collide while I’m going to and he’s coming from the bathroom. Like a high school drug dealer hustling to the class loser, I corner him. He has my phone number now. He’ll be calling me sometime. I push him up against the wall and, like a coked out starlet, bore a kiss through the back of his head. “Ummm…Lisa?” he reminds me.

“Huh? Oh yeah.” I zigzag my way into the bathroom.

Steve reemerges with his robe open and an empty bottle of whiskey in his hand. His sandals are on the wrong feet and he’s screaming something about how he likes his drugs like he likes his women, in his body. Rich comes over to us and says, “Maybe it’s time to go. Sorry. I know he can get like this, but I thought there was supposed to be a party. I didn’t really think it was going to be so in your face.”

I sit in the middle seat of Lisa’s van with Rich next to me on the way home. I’ve been trying to place it all night. Rich reminds me of a cross between Rod Serling and Diane Keaton. In his baggy jeans, semi-loose T-shirt and pointlessly gelled black hair he has an air of effortless elegance and mystery. There’s something there so far off but so approachable too. I put my hand on his thigh and watch his eyes sweat while he surveys the rear view mirror for Lisa’s gaze. He doesn’t push my hand off. Like a dieter trying to inflate her step count, his leg is jittering. His chest heaves with breath.

Before I can reach the bulge taking shape in his jeans Rich stammers out, “This is my house up here. Thanks for the ride. I’ll see you guys later.” He’s out the sliding door.

Playing with Rich has left me horny and unsatisfied, teased. If I go home Ethan will be asleep and too grumpy to fuck if I wake him up. I lean into the front seat and whisper into Lisa’s ear. “Can I stay at your house tonight?” My tongue brushes against the spots my hot breath just caressed.

We hit a pothole. “Sure,” she says.

I have to pull my lip down under my teeth to keep from biting her clit. My tongue is tearing at her flesh like a weedeater. Two fingers are jammed up her pussy, pressing her G-spot. I am almost screaming. She is. She’s getting everything I want. “I’m going to flip around and you’re going to lick my pussy too,” I say through a tangle of blonde pubic hair. I spin and feel her muscles clench. She’s about to cum.

“No. No. No. NO NO NO NO!” She’s begging for it. “No. Charlotte, stop. Don’t. I can’t. I just can’t. I can’t lick your vagina.” I stop moving. My face is dripping pussy juice.

“What? Why not?”

“I like you. I really do. And I’m attracted to you. I just can’t. I can’t bring myself to lick your vagina. I’m not okay with it yet. But thanks for licking mine. It was great. I haven’t gotten off like that in forever.”

“So I’m not getting off tonight?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Will you at least finger me a bit while we make out?”

“Not with that filth all over your face.”

“I can wash it off.”

“I’m tired. Can we just go to sleep now?”

PEACE, this is Daily Bread for Thursday, December Tenth, Two Thousand Nine. After the last few month

PEACE, this is Daily Bread for Thursday, December Tenth, Two Thousand Nine.

After the last few months, it seems the Brzezinski/Obama Plan has been to refocus on Afghanistan, which in-of-itself is a deception by them. You see, Congress is still messing with some Clinton-Bush-era tactics of trying to sanction Iran and smear them in the media. Now, however, Obama-era tactics are to expand the war and cause distraction in order to allow space for Israel to move on Iran, with the assistance of the United States and the British, rather than the United States unilaterally. Honestly, they don’t care too much about Iraq and Iran because they have other ideas–Russia and China. They don’t want troops bogged down in Iraq and Afghanistan, but they do want troops stationed in the area that can be moved around in smaller, more strategic units. Think Special Forces and Unmanned Ariel Vehicles.

I read an Op-Ed (hit) piece by (D)–former (R) before he started his “career” as a (D), Arlen Specter (also the LAWyer that came up with the “Magic Bullet Theory” in the Kennedy Assassination) in which he states the need to focus on places like Somalia, Yemen, and Pakistan. He mentioned convincing Pakistan to move all of it’s troops off the Indian/Kashmir border and move them to the Afghan border to fight “Al Qaeda”. This elusion to Pakistan-India tension points toward Brzezinski’s plan of ultimately expanding this war around China and Russia. If the fighting intensifies in the region, it has the potential to spill over into western China where there have already been incidents of violence in the last several years. This escalation will span from Somalia to the Chinese border to the East, including drawing Iran, Israel, and possibly Lebanon and Syria into this, pushing northward to Georgia, Chechnya, and west to Turkey, Ukraine, Serbia, even Greece, and frankly maybe all the way to London itself. Remember, if they are successful in this endeavor, the bankers will be even more rich with even wider and tighter control over the Earth. Awareness is key.

On a quick side-note–Iran has recently been expanding it’s “influence” in places like Brazil, Venezuela and Bolivia. Now, this is (in)directly connected to the conspiracy for world domination because South America has been quietly infiltrated for centuries by Jesuits and for decades by the CIA. Like I said, all of this is done in the name of money and power by elitist control freaks. It won’t be enough until the entire planet is under their system of control. Think United Nations fronting like the savior of the world but is really the anti-christ. Furthermore on this subject of Latin America, there has been much unrest in places like Mexico and Honduras, to mention a couple places of recent turmoil and opportunity for the conspiracy to infiltrate and take over control of nations.

*How is it that the majority Christian nations of Central & South America relate to majority Muslim Iran? In their opposition to US/Western imperialism. In reality, freemasonry connects them (Freemasonry connects Jewish Kaballah, Roman Catholicism, Muslim Sufism–Think Muslim Assassins & Christian Knights). Don’t forget after the fall of Nazi Germany (Thule Society), which had very close ties to the Middle East (Islam)(Muslim Brotherhood) in it’s opposition to Israel (Jews)(Zionism), war criminals fled with immunity to both North & South America. All of these opposing forces are in reality human emotion being played, preyed, and manipulated by occult and hidden forces. The only way to beat their game is to transcend it. If you can not control your impulses you will fall to their traps, whether they be emotional, psychological, economic or militarily.

The new military-tactic is not to occupy nations but to station smaller numbers of troops in many nations, projecting even smaller groups into any nation, in any region the “leaders” see fit, that are opposing Western domination of Earth, it’s people and it’s resources.

Have no doubt about it, this war targets the people of the United States just as much as people from countries across the planet. However, at this stage of the game, the war against Americans is mostly economic and psychological. This will be done in the hopes to pacify and wear-down the US-public to the point they have no will to physically put up a fight to these tyrants, or the soldiers who take orders and obey the will of these tyrants, no matter what country they were born and/or reside in.

On two other fronts, you had the G-20 Economic Summit a few months ago and now we have the Copenhagen Conference on “Global Warming”.

In conclusion, the tactics may change subtly or drastically, but ultimately, the end-game of world domination and control is in tact and in progress.

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.” -King James Bible

* Nazi Germany had an ongoing relationship with the Pope and the Vatican. The Jesuits, the “Vatican’s Army”, has had a very large influence over Central and South America and backs armed conflict against the West! This is controlled opposition. The Vatican also has an ongoing relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood, the United States, Britain and Israel! Understand, the main facilitators of this conspiracy/agenda of world domination are the only three independent, city-states on Planet Earth–each of which controls 3 main keys–Spirituality, Economy, & Military–Vatican City, (Center)City of London (not to be confused with Greater London, look it up!), & the District of Columbia.

So, I thought I would give you guys another sliver of that conversation again. I am back on the road, going back home for winter break. So, I hope all travels go safely and I will post again tomorrow after I am back home.

The Conversation

Revolutionary: The American government did back in 1776, since they only set up a government to carry out a war, but not country. The system worked, but only to a certain point. And at that point of anarchy, new ideas will already be running rampart before anarchy actually comes about. So no we will not be figuring it out when we get there.

Patriot: The reason they only set up a government to fight a war and not run a country is because in the beginning of the war, we fought, not for independence, but against tyranny. We had no intention of breaking from England at first. So if these new ideas are already running rampant before Anarchy comes about, then the anarchists would not have come up with them, the government “squares” would have come up with them Ergo, you are relying on a previous system for new forms of justice and coming up with none of your own.

Revolutionary: Yet, isn’t that what humanity, does all the time? We build upon and improve as new things come to light and new systems or new ways of doing things. I mean, it is very rare in human history that someone has come up with something entirely new and it stuck. So the things are that, we do have to look back in history to realize our follies. You should realize this as soon as any.

Patriot: Ha Ha Ha… Look at democracy. In Athens, it was a COMPLETELY new idea. Democracy stuck there. In Rome, they got tired of their kings so they invented a republic which lasted seven hundred years. America was the first pure republic in over 1800 years when it was founded.

Revolutionary: Ok, so we had democracy for a while now. Maybe it’s time for a new thing?

Patriot: Maybe it’s time for a revolution in political thought, but not in form of government.

Revolutionary: Well, in essence it’s a revolution in both. Since politics is the mode that government carries out actions in one extent or another. So, by changing the political ideal you will change the form of government in some form or another.

Patriot: I mean the structure of government. We need new people with different values and different ideas in office, not a different structure in our government.

Revolutionary: Well, that is a case against your democracy, since at this point the minority holds the same values as you and I, but the democratic process is in an obstacle in which is a cruel mistress in this case. And yet still, if you change values you are not necessarily changing political thought, since some may hold better moral values, but their ideals of government are generally the same.

Patriot: Plenty of people hold the values that I do. More People in America are Pro-Life than Pro-Choice but I don’t see a majority of Pro-Life politicians holing office. A majority of the American public is against the healthcare bill but the majority in government is still trying to pass it. According to polls in 2010, the democrats are going to lose a good portion of their majority in both houses.

Revolutionary: Ok, and yet that still does not answer my question of political thought. It has been quite a long time that a politicians that are Pro-Abortion have in office, despite the majority dissident. Yes, most people hold your values to a point, but not all Christians are Pro-Life and not all are as traditional as we are here at Franciscan.

Here’s an oldie but goodie from the earliest DI archives written to the Revolutionary teenager

Here’s an oldie but goodie from the earliest DI archives written to the Revolutionary teenagers in Mound a few years back. Always a good reminder of how radically loving and inclusive our Lord and Savior is. Peace, JB

“When you host a dinner or a banquet, don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid. But when you host an elaborate meal, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, and the blind. Then you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” (Luke 14:12-14)

We tend to spend most of our time with people just like us. It’s comfortable and safe. We find ourselves feeling more awkward about ourselves around strangers. What does this say about ourselves and our sources of comfort? It seems to suggest that our self-confidence and self-assurance are somehow dependent upon the people we are around.

Yet, Revolutionary disciples of Jesus are people beginning to realize that our self-confidence — our entire identity — should be wrapped up in our relationship to our loving God who made us in His image and calls us His beloved. Once we are secure in God’s embrace and standing firm on His promises, then we can begin to expand social circles we inhabit. We can stretch out our personal comfort zones and push the boundaries we have created to keep us feeling secure.

As we begin to draw our life, significance and worth from our Father God, then we can begin to reach out to others who are unlike us — the people who otherwise make us uncomfortable. We can feel more secure talking to strangers (unless they’re offering you candy from their car!), hanging out with new people, inviting a crush to the next dance, going to that first job interview or even eating at a different lunch table this coming week.

In the passage above, Jesus instructs his followers to invite everyone EXCEPT their close friends and family or rich neighbors to the next dinner party! Why? Because our friends, family and rich neighbors are the people we are tempted to make our source of comfort, security and significance. God wants to provide those things. In fact, only God is big enough to provide those things. Jesus doesn’t want us to become those people who constantly try to “suck life” from others. God wants us Revolutionaries to be overflowing with the life, love, and significance that comes from a relationship with Him so that we can instead POUR OUT God’s goodness on those who need it most — “the poor, crippled, lame and blind.”

In your case, perhaps it’s the loner, the girl with blue hair, the guy in all black with tattoos, the nerds, the sports jocks, drama club, etc. Who are those people you usually avoid? They are the ones Jesus encourages us to eat and share God’s love with. But we can only begin to live this Revolutionary way if we are drawing our life from God!

Are you nervous around new people? That’s ok. I am too. However, it does point to the fact that at times we may be still basing our self-worth and personal comfort on what others think of us or how they treat us. If we are finding our self-worth in God, then we don’t need others’ approval as much.

Do you tend to only associate with people who are just like you? That may mean that you are seeking comfort in being around familiar people. If our self-assurance was rooted in the fact that we are God’s beloved children, bought with the life of God’s own Son, and loved with an everlasting love, then we may feel more secure around people who are different than us.

I have realized that I need to go out of my way to invite people UNLIKE me into my circle, and to GO OUT and make friends with those are don’t look like me, act like me, and believe what I believe. Maybe you can try the same thing at school.

So, who are you inviting to sit at your lunch table? WWJSB? Who would Jesus sit by?

In honor of our upcoming MLK Day event, I have checked out from the library several books on and by

In honor of our upcoming MLK Day event, I have checked out from the library several books on and by the man himself. Currently I am reading Martin Luther King, Jr.: Spirit-Led Prophet, A Biography, by Richard Deats. The point of the book is to look at and learn about Dr King as a Christian leader – not just an amazing man who has moved millions with his speech “I Have a Dream.” I’m about half-way through this short book, and I’m a little ashamed to say that I have learned tons.

What has impacted me most is the realization of how little I knew about and understood the nonviolent civil rights movement – basically headed by King. Sure, I learned that events happend, like the Montgomery bus boycott, the Sit-Ins, and the Freedom Rides. Sure, I knew that they were demonstrations of nonviolence. Sure, I knew that racism used to be even more prevalent, and that it used to have many, many more occasions of disgusting violence and abuse… But I didn’t really know.

When the buses in Montgomery were finally integrated, there was violence against the blacks on the bus on the very first day.

Regarding the sit-ins, Jameson Jones wrote this:
“When called names, they keep quiet. When hit, they do not strike back. Even when hostile white youth pull hair and snuff out burning cigarettes on the backs of Negro girls, the girls do not retaliate. They pray and take what comes, with dignity.”
(in motive, a campus magazine, as quoted in Deats’ book)

Burned with cigarettes?? I merely got cut off in traffic today, and I was ready to hit someone.

Reading this book has made me realize that I don’t truly understood the great difficulties that King not only faced – he stood up against them! He not only learned about nonviolence – he taught other people to believe in it, too! The struggles of this man and his community don’t quite fit into my nice little understanding of the world. Which means that I am being stretched, taught, challenged, and thus growing – in my understanding of reality, of Christ’s love, of the people of the faith.

I am growing full with such a great awe and respect for this man among mans… and the fact that he found such comfort and inspiration in God and his religion. Dr King took many great risks in his life, but he did it because of the motivation he got from knowing and loving Christ. Dr King was a true revolutionary – his own church even stood against him, even though he knew what he was doing was right.

So, now I am looking forward to finishing this book, and also to move on to reading other texts written by King. I am also getting more and more excited about the event in January!
