Society is, and always has been, at the mercy of its leaders. Though rebellions, riots, and revolutions have occurred throughout history, there is no denying the amount of control that is held by those in government positions. The thought of having intelligent, decisive, and respectable leaders at the head of societal responsibility has been, and should be, a comfort to basic citizens who have simply set out to live their lives. However, when circumstances change and become more dire, will those decisions made, in people’s “best interest,” always be best? The idea of nonconformity as a felony seems ridiculous in this day and age, but how close is the world to handing over even the simplest of freedoms in order to retain the comforts that society has become accustom to. What circumstances could force the world to take such a turn for the worst? Feelings such as fear and hopelessness demonstrate the possibilities of such circumstances. Although fictional, media works such as “Children of Men,” “V for Vendetta,” and “’Repent Harlequin!’ Said the Ticktockman,” a short story by Harlan Ellison, demonstrate how such societal qualities can lead to tyrannical submission.

Fear is a very powerful emotion. It can be, in fact, one of the most powerful emotions; pushing a man to do irresponsible, reckless, and even dangerous things. Harlan Ellison’s “’Repent Harlequin!’ Said the Ticktockman” is  a story that paints the picture of fear leading mankind into an abyss under the rule of one person whose character is strong than the rest. The ticktockman holds the power to control the lifespan of society based upon their punctuality throughout life. The fear this power instills in people to follow schedules is undeniable. “Somewhere nearby, he could hear the metronomic left-right-left of the 2:47 PM shift, entering the Timkin roller-bearing plant in their sneakers. A minute later, precisely, he heard the softer right-left-right of the 5:00 AM formation, going home,” (Ellison, 292). With the installation of fear in people’s hearts, society falls in line and conforms to the precise schedule set out for them. Another example, the film “V for Vendetta,” is a perfect example of a person’s use of fear in order to obtain leadership, control, and conformity from the population. With the skillful manipulation of a virus, leaked into the population then suddenly controlled with the promise of order and control, the people look to the leader (and in this case, the villain at the same time) as their hero and savior from an otherwise scary, unknown problem. As stated previously, these examples are merely fictional. Nevertheless, these stories exemplify, if not magnify, human nature under the presence of fear. This human condition is one of the characteristics that would will society to submit to any power to retain the possibility of order, stability, and safety in their lives; even if individuality may be the sacrifice.

The second theme that is noticeable is hopelessness. When people feel there is nothing left to fight with, or for, is another instance when they would hand over simple freedoms to regain comfort. The film “Children of Men” is a perfect example of such feelings of hopelessness. Mankind is facing the brink of extinction, as women have succumbed to the inability to reproduce. Beginning with the death of the world’s youngest man, the world that is demonstrated for the audience is a bleak one. Individuals pass by one another with sadness, fear, and even vague disinterest in the world around them. With no hope of continuing the generations that mankind had come to treasure, the people submitted to the ruling of border closure, the weeding out of immigrants, and quarantines of anyone deemed dangerous or viral to be around. Throughout the movie, the examples of violence, discrimination, and tyrannical power only proves humans desperation in the face of no hope for the future.

Although the world is not filled with such terrifying, dire circumstances that have backed mankind into a corner, continuing to follow leadership blindly without education, questioning, or resilience may someday lead society down a similar path. The previous examples are all works of science fiction, but it would be ignorance to say they do not speak themes of truth that are applicable to present day. Society may require leadership and government, but it does not have to be done blindly. Without education, faith and confidence, humans will fall victim to the consequences of fear and hopelessness, and everything that had been worked for will be lost in a new order.

Incarnation 1.19: Love Through The Ages

In this week’s premiere of New Communication Technologies (NCT) class, our great lecturer, Ping, showed us Minority Report. I was beginning to think whether it was a coincidence (Ping could have been intending to recruit Keanu Reeves fans like herself) or that there was a more significant agenda – to let the ignorant children trapped in the protective environment of this classroom open their eyes to what could be the future of the universe!

We have the usual adventure story – good guy, righteous and all, wronged by the bad guys hence set out to clear his name… by kidnapping a bald-shaven and pale woman – who can barely communicate well with her stutters, which is good because it prolongs the storyline and the air time.

Alright, who am I kidding?

The crux is this – the technology used and displayed in the show is beyond the present. However, many revolutions have passed through the centuries and the sci-fi in Minority Report could just be the next in line.

And current technology seems to be edging towards the Minority Report reality. Compare the following:

Aren’t those two most alike? Not forgetting location-based services are personified as the Precogs (ones who are capable of telling the future) in the movie as well. It is indeed amazing to see the human race mingle with science to create possibilities and bring about what seems to be convenience to the society.

However, things appear too perfect. And too-perfect things can be flawed in some way or another.

Think about this – one of some other problems that may surface: what will happen to the privacy of each individual if tracking whereabouts of individuals were as simple as a click on a system – especially with the impending proliferation of location-based services?

Do privacy and convenience with technology possess an inverse relationship? Think about it while you tweet, facebook, plurk, stumbleupon or use that android application.

So I’m making a video about my new understanding of money….when I drop the camera I’m using and break it. I had to laugh at myself because the way it happened was so funny. I’m making a video, all serious and what not, go inside to get something, place it on the table and I hear a loud crash.

“UH OH” is what I thought to myself. Looked and immediately had to realize the anger I had wasn’t real. I instantly had to forgive myself for something that didn’t really matter. Because for some reason guilt about breaking a tool that I use to express had just broke.

The last pictures I took were of names of people who passed on during war time. Two of the people had the same name as me so I took photos.

The names in the photos have some sort of connection to me that I am unaware of at the moment. I really felt compelled to take note of the two people “Jason W. Morrow, and Adelbert Lewis Morrow” as if I know who they are but don’t at the same time.

Since the video wasn’t completed, I’ll tell you about the realization that I came to today. My unconscious fear of money has to do with my unconscious fear and guilt about not being connected to G-D. For an image, imagine G-D as a source of perfect love. Ok, so I have been identifying myself egoicly(yes I made that word up) through the world of form. Meaning when it comes to money I’ve been believing I am my body more than I am my mind.

So check this out. The body and things on earth, like money, are subject to change. Perfect love from G-D, or the source of perfect love, does not change. So if I am building my foundation on money which is created by the mind a subject to change a depreciation, it can be seen why I would have unconscious fears about it.

My power is best vested in the source of all LOVE, G-D, than it is money. Thinking money has the power of G-D creates dualism in the mind. Which then creates fears that are in my unconscious because I think the fears are real. A lil complicated but simplistic at best. I had to forgive myself for breaking the camera, knowing that there is a lesson to be learned from the situation.

I have just healed my mind. Now back to the money. Big Money runs the world of form right now. But form thinks it is separate from G-D so there will always be duality in that frame of mind. So what do I do about money? Nothing? My mind has the power when together with the love of G-D. So I am always provided for. When it seems I am not provided for in form, that is an illusion trying to get my mind to think in duality.

With this knowledge I can now have any money that I need, because I don’t need it. I am connected to the perfect love of my creator therefore money is just a form. It is an illusion of my unconscious guilt and fears of thinking I have power separate from G-D. Meaning power separate from love.

My treasure, my true value is being able to forgive myself, and help others do the same. Since I see myself in them and vice versa. Because that is how the mind is healed. Then things like money can be used as tools of expression without having the unconscious fear attached to it by my mind.

I have forgiven myself for guilt I feel through this unconscious illusion of separation.

EGO is a state of mind, a thought pattern. It constructs fears around truth and then the fears appear as truth.

The only truth there is, is love. Not the misunderstood form Identified love. But pure intense love that is love.

No matter what faith you follow or whether you believe in God, LOVE is the truth.

Most people unconsciously are addicted to separation and fear that is governed by the ego. The ego wants you to think that you are your body.

If you continue to think you are your body then you will value things that keep you in a set thought pattern of separation.

There are no other people. Only me. Let me explain… In my reality I am the only observer. Everything else reflects my beliefs. If I have unconscious fears I see then my illusion of reality through form.

If I hate myself I will see situations of hate and identify with them. This goes deeper than me.

One mind is within all people. There is no separate mind. Separate minds are illusions. Look at the bigger picture. Minds in this reality work on separate things for the benefit of human kind or the sum of all the minds. Which is one mind.

Now imagine that you can never find an answer to anything without first finding it within yourself, or your mind.

If one person has a though and puts it into a book, as soon as you read it, it becomes your thought. But that thought is already out there before you read it, the thought is already yours.

The illusion of form and solid objects that aren’t solid are bound by FEAR.

Our bodies are more “space” than they are “solid”. The solid form is bound by fear. Fear of what? Fear of separation.

This fear has root in every interaction in the world.

The world is not seen with the eyes. The eyes are closed off to all light. So what is light really if it’s not entering my brain. And where is my mind if light is only detected by my eyes?

These are all illusions of separation from one truth.

Unfortunately this time we were unable to intercept the picture and distort the image to preserve Hoofendorfer’s anonymity and secret identity which is why the picture is left as is. We have reason to suspect that Rob Bell and Rick Warren planted this image on the net to expose and mock our Pure Doctrines. Tis the way of those Seeker-driven Emergents—evil plotters they all are. And yet another image leaked of Hoofendorfer with some of his and our fellow Truth Warriors:

I don’t think this is necessarily to save the poor; I think it’s for our salvation. I think that we have been blessed beyond measure, and if we don’t give it away and steward it well, our own souls are going to shrivel up. This is about the state of our own souls. According to Jesus’ teachings, we’re in trouble if we hog it or keep it to ourselves.

There’s 2103 verses on the poor and oppressed. This is how Jesus began his first sermon: ‘I’ve been anointed to preach the good news to the poor.’ God is with the poor; we’re with God when we’re with the poor.

God has no interest in us building our empires.

This is a huge issue. The rich man and Lazarus… I mean, the rich man is in hell because he ignored the needs of Lazarus by his front gate. So for Jesus, there’s a very literal, earthly hell for those who ignore the need of those around them. I would even argue the man who builds bigger barns… the only clear passages where Jesus speaks of somebody in hell are about a religious person with extraordinary wealth that doesn’t share it with those who are in need. That’s where he gives specific cases of those who are in hell even if they are parables.

We hear “kingdom of heaven” and we think “kingdom of life after death.” But that’s the very opposite of what Jesus is talking about. Remember—he says repeatedly, the kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, has arrived! It’s near, here, at hand, among you! It’s not just about after you die; it’s about here, now, in this life! (New Kind of Christian, 107)

Our GOIP Bot 3000 has just discernmentalized a wonderful list outlining some of our Master Plan—here it is:

End Medicaid, Medicare and the VA. This was a liberal plan to simply redistribute wealth from the rich to the needy. These plans are both expensive and unsustainable and the time is now to cut the plug. If you are elderly or a veteran, then you are on your own. If you have enough wealth, then go get your own health plan. However if you cannot afford a health plan, then consider yourself a leach on society. You are dragging down this great country.

End Public Schools. Obama just got on television and delivered a message to all the children in public schools in the nation. How wrong is that? The president has no business talking to our children. All he wants to do is spread his liberal agenda to their innocent minds. There is only one solution to all of this. All children should be home schooled. Also the wealthy can send their children to expensive private schools, but the inexpensive public schools are just a burden on society.

End Unemployment Insurance. Unemployment insurance is just wrong. It is redistribution of wealth in its purest form. I am supposed to give my hard earned tax money to some retard that can’t even hold a job? Give me a break. They can always get a job at McDonald’s or picking up the trash. This is just a way of rewarding laziness, and it needs to come to a full stop, now!

Private Roads. Where in the constitution does it say that our government is responsible for creating roads? No where. All roads should be private, and the better road the more it should cost. There are plenty of poor people that may not be able to afford to travel on the better roads, and I have one response. Tough crap! Now that you don’t have unemployment insurance, maybe you will have more motivation to finally get a job.

End Air Traffic Control. Do we really need our government controlling our air ways? The entire system is probably corrupt, and should be eliminated. Liberals will argue that air traffic control makes air travel safer. How stupid! All it does it drives up the cost. We need to make air travel more affordable and the first step is eliminating air traffic control.

Burn Down All The Libraries. I know one thing for sure. Libraries would not exist if not for liberals. Now that Obama’s approval ratings are falling off a cliff, let’s get rid of one of the bastions of liberalism, libraries. That will show them. If people want to read, then they can buy their own books. Why can’t liberals understand that simple fact?

No More Taxes. The beautiful part of my plan is that we no longer need to pay taxes. Even some good conservative people like to read a good book once in a while, but is it really worth our freedom? I for one am going to stop paying taxes immediately and then hopefully the Chosen One, Barack Hussein Obama, will follow my simple plan to eliminate socialism in our lifetime. I encourage all my readers to stop paying taxes as a protest to socialism.

We  would also like to add in outlawing Sunday School as Sunday School is a communist plot to decieve God’s True Elect into accepting socialism—for Sunday School was invented by ‘Robert Raikes, editor of the Gloucester Journal and (a theological liebral), who saw the need to prevent children in the slums descending into crime.’  This is nothing but the false gospel of socialism and ‘that old line of liberalism’ otherwise known as the Social Gospel as Saint John MacArthur clearly exposes:

Neither tragic, nor heroic. Recently  our resident Redneck GOIPers discovered shocking evidence that proves once and for all without a shadow of a doubt that Obama is the political anti-Christ. We’ve known all along that he hates America, our Rite to theocracy and Our God-ordained Holy Republican American Reich so this is no surprise. Also Obama wants to hand America over to Canada a nation run by satanists that is his evil plan in destroying our God-ordained and God Chosen Nation. I admire Glen Beck with every fiber of my being for going on national television and calling the president a racist with a deep seated hatred toward white people. Beck is so right, but the only problem is that he doesn’t go far enough. Obama hates Americans, and the country we live in. Hate is too soft a word. When one thinks of the most evil people in the history of the world, Obama tops them all. On 9/11/2001, Osama Bin Laden killed brazenly 3000 innocent Americans. Obama wants to kill a lot more than 3000.
