This Wednesday, January 28 we will be hosting the official opening of our Second Life presence at PSU World Campus island in Second Life.  The island will be staffed all day from 8am-5pm Eastern Time so if you’re in Second Life, please stop by and say hello! We’ll have a snazzy World Campus polo shirt for you and you’ll get to spend time exploring our space.

This Friday evening, January 23 we’ll also be hosting a benefit concert at PSU World Campus island in Second Life to raise money for the Penn State Dance Marathon (THON).  Second Life musician, Rich DeSoto will be performing live starting at 8PM Eastern time. Come listen to some fantastic music, dance with us, and help raise money for an amazing cause.

Next Thursday, January 29, our last THON benefit concert in January will be held in Second Life.  Jax Streeter will be performing to help us, once again, raise money for the Penn State Dance Marathon.

This brilliant creature tried to spam us out with crazy chat things
and some annoying sounds.
Yes, a Griever that waited till Djai and Toby where about to play the song for the first time and then started to do his thang.

You really thought you could stop us ?
Nothing can stop SL Live Music, we are here to stay and take over SL,
when we have done that, we are going to take over RL
and then we make Djai president of the world and have a party like this every night.

I want to ask all who run a venue to put a ban on this person.
And if this happen again with other Grievers then i am happy to spread his or her name around.

The song starts perfect with the sound of an old recordplayer
and a piano playing Jingle Bells.
Guitar takes over and the song beautifull builds up. Compliments my friends
Great musicianship, beautifull vocals, great harmonies and even an awesome guitar solo
( too bad there isnt a triangle in it, i am a genius on triangle )

It really started snowing in my livingroom, Santa appeared showing me a vision off
a world without pain, hunger, wars, sorrow and diseases.

It sounds crapy i know but that is what this song does to me,
you want to get up, go outside and change the world into a better place right away
So maybe we really should have christmas all year through ?

Thanks SL Musicians for making a reminder, a song you can use when you are down,
when you think that the whole world has gone crazy, when you feel alone,
when you hear about what people have to suffer.

Black Cow is proud to present…

Rich Desoto is the SL persona of singer/songwriter Rich Palmer. He is completing a new album of original tunes. In RL he plays bass for a classic rock/acoustic based cover band called “The Fries”.
His influences are The Beatles – Crosby Stills and Nash – George Harrison – Jeff Lynne and more.

After a stream problem (don’t forget to reboot rich!) he did a great show. I simply love his sweet song “avatar girl”. too bad there weren’t many people there. guys.. seriously what’s wrong with you?? We hope to have him back soon again!
