Here is Birdmans monster collaborative track featuring Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj,Mack Maine and hook man Future. The track is called “Tap Out” and is off of Birdmans compilation CD “Rich Gang”, which doesn’t have a release date at the moment. Listen to this club banger after the jump. I think Nicki’s verse takes the cake on this one.

Birdman said he wanted 100 albums released in 2013. Let’s see if that happens. In due time, this is the first single off of the Rich Gang compilation. I usually rock with hooks from Future but I didn’t really dig this one.

Sometime later today Birdman is dropping the first “Rich Gang” single featuring himself, Weezy, Nicki and Future. I slept on the idea for the cover and had to wake up and make it happen.

UPDATE: THIS COVER IS NOT AND NEVER EVER WAS OFFICIAL. Yes I have done some official work in the past but this is simply a cover for personal use or for people to look at. When making the cover I searched through images on Google and found the mask that I used….just so happens that it’s associated with some “Stompdown” group. Never heard of them until this cover was released and I never intended to use their logo. Sorry if anyone feels like this is “stealing” but it definitely was not intended in that way. By doing some research there are other places that use this silhouette and seem to be making profit off of it…for example if you search Ski Mask Movement a clothing brand appears using the same logo. They are claiming it as their own and I certainly am not.

ALSO…by doing some research I have found that the logo for “Stompdown” is the same thing/very very similar to what you get when you use the live trace feature on Adobe Illustrator on the below image…

…nothing wrong with that. That’s fine. But my point is that someone else could and is likely to simply “live trace” that image in the future thus recreating the same logo that “Stompdown” uses.

So in conclusion, I used the silhouette that I used because that’s all it was…a silhouette. I had no way of knowing but now that I do I am in fact giving credit to “Stompdown” as they claim it as their logo.

And once again, this cover is not and never was official.

Birman should be releasing new music real soon. His first single is se to feature Nicki Minaj, Future, and Lil Wayne. It is off of what is supposed to be a collaborative album from Young Money.

Baby has also signed a new artist. T.Rone is a Florida native and has just inked a joint venture with his label “Brooklyn Knights” and Cash Money. Baby had this to say:

Hate Birdman or love him, in the last decade no CEO has, signed, promoted, and growen his brand in such a way that it seems to run completely without him. Yea, I said it, and yea I will even go on further and name the CEOs Birdman has done better than: Jay-z, Diddy, Kanye, and whoever else you can think of. I must commend Birdman for not trying to do more than what he has the ability to do. Birdman has never been a wordsmith, but he knows how to sign artist that have the ability to carry tracks. On his latest effort Birdman strikes again by having the newest hook king, Future, on nearly 60% of the tracks . He also has some of the best rappers in the game past and present plastered through out: Rick Ross, Ace Hood, Drake, Tyga, The Game, Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, 2 chainz, Whiz, Limp Bizkit, and seemingly raising one from the dead, Mystikal.

No, this is not a mixtape for your hip-hop purest, but what is these days. I am not saying lose your love for what the essence of hip-hop is, but there comes a time where we must embrace the present. Where we must submerge ourselves into the counter-culture that is birthing a continual flow of street anthems.

There is no way to rate this effort in my opinion, being that its more like a compilation than an independent effort. Moreover, taking nothing from Birdman, I want waste nobodies time in rating this mixtape. But what I will say is that this mixtape is worth a listen.

It seems that the person, outside of Future, that has the hottest tracks on this mixtape is  Ace Hood. The beats sound more pure on his tracks and reproductions, and the way he flows over the track just works. Not taking anything from the superstars of this effort, you know Drake, Lil Wayne, French, Rick, but Ace holds true to his flow and his style. Above all the track with Limp Bizkit shows an avenue for the company that many other hip-hop companies have been slow to develop on their labels. The possibility to cross over the brands could develop even larger profits like it  did for Jay-z sometime back.

Bridman has released his new YMCMB-hosted mixtape Rich Gang: All Stars via DatPiff.com.

The tape, which is released in honor of All-Star weekend, is a compilation of tracks from his Cash Money signees including Lil Wayne’s “Awkward,” Mystikal’s “Mamma Cry,” French Montana’s “Freaks” featuring Nicki Minaj and more. DJ Khaled appears on the tape for several interludes.

Birdman hit Twitter to provide a poster confirming upcoming release dates for a number of YMCMB projects including work from Lil Wayne, Tyga, Rich Gang and Ace Hood. Drake’s unfinished album is left without a specific date, but the poster confirms release dates announced by DJ Khaled at the end of the recently released Rich Gang ‘All Star’ mixtape.

The poster confirms Tyga’s recent delay of his upcoming sophomore album ‘Hotel California’ to April 6th and the previously announced March 26th release date for Lil Wayne’s ‘I Am Not A Human Being II.’

Additionally, Birdman revealed that Rich Gang will be following up the ‘All Star’ mixtape with the release of ‘Rich Gang: Flashy Lifestyle’ on May 21st. The crew could also follow-up with a movie which Birdman revealed was in the works last year.

The poster also sets the date for Ace Hood’s upcoming LP ‘Trials & Tribulations’ for July 16th, and he’s already dropped ‘Bugatti’ featuring Future and Rick Ross as the first single for the project.

The Rich Gang movie is about the team. Everybody is going to be the star of it, but Wayne will be the center of it. It’s about the team, everybody that’s on the label.”

Birdman wouldn’t reveal if the film will be scripted or a documentary style film, but his confidence in his artist as actors seems very apparent.

“I would like them for just be themselves. I’m not gonna tell no nigga to go to acting school. Just be yourself. We’re excited as a brand about it. Tyga, everybody is like, ‘Stunna, let’s do a  movie.’ We got a few of them lined up and we gonna shoot them.”

The CEO of Young Money/Cash Money, Birdman, reveals his plans for his film “Rich Gang,” starring the YMCMB roster.

This debut film will be called “Rich Gang”, and will star Lil Wayne and other members of the YMCMB camp. Birdman also revealed he’s working on an untitled film with Omar Epps.

“We start shooting in the fall,” Birdman said, “That’s the whole team, that’s like a 2012 “Balla Blocking”. The “Rich Gang” movie is about the team. Everybody is going to be the star of it, but Wayne will be the center of it. It’s about the team, everybody that’s on the label.”
