Don’t forget that Rick Muchow will be our guest worship leader this weekend at Crossroads Community Church. Muchow is the accomplished Worship Leader at Saddleback Church in Lake Forrest California (Rick Warren’s church). He has also has his own music ministry called Encouraging Music and has authored the book, The Worship Answer Book.

Congratulations to Lori Biddle (Crossroads’ fabulous Director of Magnification) for putting together this special event. Rick will be with us for all three services this weekend (Saturday at 7:00 PM and Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 AM). I have no doubt that this will be an amazing time of worship.

Crossroads has gotten some local press about Rick Muchow’s visit in a recent article in the Mansfield News Journal, so we are hoping for a great crowd this weekend.

You won’t want to miss this special worship set during our weekend service. Remind the members of your small group about it and be sure to invite your friends and family.

Well, my last post was over a year ago. Superficially it seems not much has changed.

I’m booked to return to the Old Temecula Theatre with David Pack next week on Friday, April 11. We’ve had a few months off, so I look forward to taking the stage with David again.

Here’s what has changed:

My wife is due to deliver our 4th (and final) child on June 21st. We already have three girls and have found out the gender of the 4th. My dad is the only person who doesn’t want to know so I won’t post it here, yet. Ask me if you’re interested.

I’ve got a couple album projects I’ll be working on at Tom Brooks New Earth studios, the first of which is the annual Song Seeker project led by Tony Guerrero for Saddleback Church. The Song Seeker disc is released to everyone who attends Saddleback’s upcoming Worship Conference in June. We’re also slated to do tracks for a crossover album for a latin artist named Lucia Parker. As always, I’m thankful for the work.

Played with David Pack last Saturday. The gig was great. Nice venue (Old Temecula Theater), great crew (John, Trace, & Richard), and great Yamaha Maple Customs provided by Auntie M (thanks Ryan).

Brandon Muchow opened the show with a few of his originals, he sounded great. He joined us later on stage on blues/MTV Unplugged style tune of David’s called “Tell Her Goodbye”. That tune had one of my highlights of the evening when Alex Al took a great bass solo. The best part of my evening was to have my wife Shelly & our third girl, Ainsley come with me.

God Bless,
Tom
