Futuristic android swaying traffic – a sea of cars going places, meeting faces – human rat race is the maze we’re in.

Tall totem-pole-like sign of the times – to only but switch lanes on this life-made path we find.

Burning sensation as tongue touches scorching metal part – crimson tides now flowing by.

Yeilding now in my train of thought – right quick derailed, but I keep moving on…

But, wait! Here’s the end of the road.
Movements’ blocked – lost in traction – simply lost.
Stuck on words gone – flights of flocks now tugging on my golden-brown locks. Pen acts as a glock – writing on end, never cease – to never stop!

For ten minutes at least, seems simple on this street of ease – but things are never quite as it seems – so I’ll wait and see where this untimely mystery ends up taking me.

So I listen carefully, take stock of all surrounding me…create skillfully – to up the next level, so as to surpass this stage – and soon rock the stage…. Turn the page… is the time running out?

Look about to see if my thoughts are travelling the right route – what now?

Left somehow – need to refocus, regroup – to find that story book. Listless now gone – can write on and on and on – write on until the break of dawn!

The dawning of my age – the age of now – the time has come! All waiting done! Come one – come all – lets destiny fulfill – lets heed our call!

Lets go!

Okay, so someone commented on my first post. My first comment! And they seem to know all about the Soul Sense Connection. At least enough to make me feel stupid. But are they going to tell me about it? No. They’re going to ambiguous and tell me that I’m doing something wrong. I tried to figure out the clues, but I;m sorry, I’m not any good at riddles. But it is good to know that the whole thing is more than a random prank or social experiment. There is something more out there. A lot supposedly if someone is mentioning twitter acounts and cryptic webpages. Maybe if that someone could tell me a bit more about their own involvement with the mystery. Maybe just point me in the right direction.

Or I could just keep on wondering what on earth those clues are about and keep my mouth shut and stop complaining. That is an option. But I am new to all of this, and I was just hoping there was an easy explanation. Apparantly the mystery just keeps going. I just need a few more details to be motivated to hunt this thing. But give me a bit of time and I’m going to die of curiosity, at which point I will throw myself into it and actually solve the first clues.

In other news, one of the other guys who found a letter contacted me the other day. We had exchanged numbers at the meet-up spot. He says that I should contact his friend who actually solves mysteries as a hobby. I didn’t know there was such a thing. At least, I didn’t think there were very many mysteries to solve unless you’re dealing with crimes or philosophy which can’t really be solved anyway. But supposedly there are internet mysteries. I don’t what they would lead to. Secret societies maybe. Or virtual communities of hackers and pirates who manipulate media and work on overthrowing major corporations. Okay. So I did some major research. But this is not like that at all. So I don’t think I will contact this guy. I think I will try to figure those clues out on my own. Because I retrieved the letter from the lamp post. I was pulled into this by the words on that scrap piece of paper. I chose to show up and take that first step out of the ordinary.

And to the anonymous commenter, consider this a challenge. Who can solve the clues first? I’m on it. Are you?

In response to Ahmad comments regarding KM, I quote:

The distinction between Knowledge Management (KM) and Information Management (IM) is far from being well-articulated in the KM literature and this is compounded by the confusion around the concepts of knowledge and information. In fact, there is no consensus regarding the claim that KM is a new field with its own research base, since much of the terminology and techniques used, such as knowledge mapping, seem to have been borrowed from both IM and librarianship (Koenig, 1997). KM is considered by some as the business salvation and by others as the “emperor’s new clothes” (Martensson, 2000). On the one hand, authors such as Gourlay (2000) and Beckman (1999) present KM as an emerging discipline. According to Beckman, the expression was coined for the first time in 1986 by Dr. Karl Wiig who wrote one of the first books on the topic, Knowledge Management Foundations, published in 1993. On the other hand, others, such as Broadbent (1998), Streatfield and Wilson (1999), claim that firms and information professionals have been practicing for years KM-related activities. Streatfield and Wilson (1999) argue that the concept of knowledge is over-simplified in the KM literature, and they seriously question the attempt to manage what people have in their minds. Nevertheless, there is a real interest and enthusiasm in KM as revealed by the increasing number of publications relating to the topic since 1995 (Mahdjoubi & Harmon, 2001). In addition, the library and information press has suggested for a number of years that it is a burgeoning field of great interest to information professionals, since they possess the necessary skills to work in the field (Broadbent, 1997; Abram, 1997; Chase, 1998; Henczel, 2001; Oxbrow & Abell, 2002).

Although many KM initiatives are documented in the business literature (Davenport & Prusak, 1998), what is actually entailed in these initiatives remains vague and ambiguous because there are many interpretations of knowledge management. And, a recent review by Hlupic et al. (2002) identified 18 different definitions of KM. Many attempts have been made to define KM from a theoretical perspective (Choo, 1998; Srikantaiah & Koenig, 1999, Oluic-Vukovic, 2001, Mac Morrow, 2001) and to identify the various types of organizational knowledge (Nonaka & Takeuchi 1995, Boisot 1998, Brown & Duguid 1998). These attempts do not really address the relationships between KM and IM.

Recently, this lack of a clear distinction between information and knowledge has been recognized as a major issue with the KM literature (Martensson, 2000; Tsoukas & Vladimirou, 2000; Kakabadse et al., 2001). Gourlay (2000) suggests that KM practices focus mainly on knowledge representations not on knowledge per se, making the distinction between KM and IM even more blurred. There is indeed a fine line between KM and IM at both the conceptual and practical levels. … Much of the case-studies published in the literature are associated with large consulting firms, who were pioneers in that area, lending credence to the belief that KM simply a marketing ploy for consultants.

Im not here to say that KM dose not exest or that IM is better, I dont have the knowledge to say that. But from my point of view i think that even the advanced interprises and countries still dont hold a firm grip on the concept and still there is a depate about the two concepts, KM & IM. I find it clear that we must first understand and implement IM before we can reach an understanding of KM. As it is mentioned in the article above, there is a thin line between the two.

Im pathologically addicted to complete assholes. Mr Right came and i ruined it, so now i’m in a life where every boy just wont be the same.

It’s peculiar really, when I’m out, busy or with other people stupid thoughts like this don’t come into my head; but the second I’m home, alone, they come marching in.

Lucky for me there’s Anya Marina to answer the majority of questions with a reckless riddle. But this satisfies me enough until the next day when I’m sat up here again.

I want things to go back to the way they used to be, when i had someone to look after me and i all i had to think about was the passion of the one thing i loved. Now there’s stress, pressure and exposures that hold me back from every creative impulse my brain sends through my body. What a shame, a dying shame.

I don’ care if i have to die to go back to that special place in my life. Take me, take me there.

What a cruel world. How can i be so weak as to not be able to control my own feelings for someone. We broke up nearly a year ago now, and yet still every film character of that hunky boy, or the spontaneous artist has me hooked on a fantasy of him. Maybe i need a new prince charming, or maybe i just need to keep waiting?

Somebody, please teach me the game. That teasing trauma that everyone plays to get their loved ones attention. If only Mother educated me on this “male species” and their complexities.

I think i’ll write a poem for now.

If anyone knows anything about the Soul Sense Connection please contact me immediately! If we share

If anyone knows anything about the Soul Sense Connection please contact me immediately! If we share our knowledge, we may both be able to grow closer to discovering the meaning behind it. Chances are though, you don’t know what it is. Because believe me, I have researched and searched for it all over the internet and haven’t found anything. But here is what I do know:

On November 12, this really strange thing happened to me. I found a piece of paper taped to the top of a lamp post. My friends and I could tell that it had lots of writing on it. So for fun, I climbed the lamp post. I got the paper down and we all read what it said. It was written to whoever happened to read it, kind of like a message in a bottle idea. It talked about something called the Soul Sense Connection. Like it was not just a thing, but an actual group or something. And then it included some really obscure clues. I still don’t know what those are about. But anyway, it then asked me to meet at noon on the 13th at this place downtown.

So my friends thought it was just some prank. At least, they joked about it being a blind date or some initiation to some cult or something. But I couldn’t not show. The letter was written in a really interesting way and said I would just meet some strangers. So when I get there, there are two people standing on this balcony. And the balcony is really just a landing between stairs really. But I walk up there not knowing whether these people have anything to do with the letter. And then I find out that they came for the same reason. They each found letters lying around. So I wonder what the hell is going on, right, someone is probably laughing to themselves from some nearby window. It’s stupid though. Why would some make up such an elaborate prank just to waste some people’s time?

But that’s not how it goes. Because I introduce myself to these two others and then a third shows. We all have the same letter. And we kind of share stories, where we found them etc., and then nothing happens. So then one of them says screw it and goes to leave. And that’s when this other guy, Tim, notices that there are two small letters on the back of his. So I check mine and I have two letters as well. But mine are different. I’ve got ‘VE’. He’s got ‘IN’.

So we check all the others and think maybe they’ve got to be ordered in some way. So the other two are ‘LO’ and ‘SP’.

So we went through a few combinations, but all I can think of is SPIN LOVE. At least, I am rather certain the LO and VE go together. Would make sense. So then that’s it. We stand around and wonder. But now I feel like nothing’s happening cause it’s my fault. There’s some riddle here and we just can’t make it out. Anyway though, the others leave cause they have to go places, but I hang around because I’m wondering about the weird clues that were in the message that had something to do with the meeting place. I want to know what the hell it’s all about. And I know there’s more.

And it didn’t occur to me until a few days later that I bet there were missing letters. I mean, not everyone who finds a piece of paper somewhere is going to follow its instructions! So I think there were some missing. Now, I don’t expect those missing letters to show up on this blog. The chances of that are just far too slim. But, I think that this whole event has happened before elsewhere. There are two many clues that just hint at more.

So if anyone has indeed herd about the Soul Sense Connection, I want to know what you know. And I will share the letter I got. Maybe someone can figure out what those clues are about. Cause I’m stumped. And I don’t know if anything will come from this, but I am stumped and thought I should post this somewhere online and hope for more information. So here it is:

To love and to hold,
‘Till death do us part,
Said the owner and keeper of my besotted heart.
But what is the meaning of this vow she has taken,
To take on my sins with her innocence forsaken?

Forsaken for a passionate glimpse of loves labour
With jealousy and contempt either side as her neighbour.
So easily accessible with just one wrong turn,
The vow is a lesson entered into to learn.

To learn of faith and hope.
Despair and trust.
Believed to be voluntarily but in truth we must.
For our tradition is to join,
And our breeding is to share,
We are becoming our ancestors unannounced and unaware.

Unaware that destinies cards point to our past,
Set in stone is our future in histories cast,
To our fathers we speak in tongues to our sons,
Loaded with riddles like bullets in guns.
Our fate is sealed by the words we spew forth
Until we rejoin our fathers on the great staircase in the north.

Good day!

Ok. Popular bookstore is now officially a forbidden place for me.

I can’t set a foot in there without getting hooked by at least 2 titles! And considering the current balance in my acct, i’m relatively paying through the nose for them!

I have just shelved another 3 Paulo Coelho’s (uuu..the dark green nots..uhuk uhuk..) with 1 still unread (have just started by 2 pages) Yet, i had a very hard time setting my feet OUT of the store, drooling over “South Africa, The Wild Paradise” by Franck Fouquet. And to those who are still wondering my next birthday prezzie, surprise me with “Travelers’ Atlas” by Dorsling Kindersley (publisher)! I’ll love you infinitely!!

Okay..so how has the week been. Let see..CFCS done…(oh no! the neverending data & community programme reports!), books read (fictions people, fictions,) flu recovered, and watched lotsa Hindi films! Haha what has got into me? Hollywood to Bollywood?? Blame Powell Roy and Renuka for this! ;P I was housemate with Renuka and Atiq during CFCS and happen to transfer loads of Hindi movies from Renuka. The aftermath – fallen for Shah Rukh Khan again, haha, since the ancient “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”. I was hooked for no romance reason okayy..there were actually a lot that i can learn by bollywood movies, so i realised. In “ChakDe! India”, i discovered that someone looking like Seh Kee (my coursemate) may have been an Indian! By nationality/origin & may speak by the language of Hindi!! These Indians might easily be mistaken for other nationality and treated as aliens in their own country, should they ever go to the Western India or other part than the Northeastern India. North-East India is ethnically, linguistically and culturally very distinct from the other states of India. And according to Wikipedia, this region is officially recognized as a special category of states. Its states consist of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. They speak by the mothertongue of Assamese, Bengali, Bodo (yes, it’s a language) and Manipur. So as i googled and google-mapped, it was just, wow. What a beautiful, diversed world we live in.

In “Om Shanti Om!”, i noticed a line that is exactly what i read in Coelho’s “The Alchemist”. As Shah Rukh Khan say, “when you really want something, the world will help you to come to that.”, Coelho has also wrote in his #1 bestseller, similarly, “And, when you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” and i thought, the scriptwriter must’ve read Coelho.

Haha so i think i’ll keep feeding my Bollywood crave by getting good ones from Renuka. ;P

And oh, my double-become-triple room now is double room again. Ira has got a room for herself, after she had been working hard for it the past 5 months. The funny thing is, for the previous months, whenever she go to HEP’s Kak Syikin or Murni’s Mr.Ismadi, the answers she’ll get are just, “there’s no more room”, “we have nothing to offer.” Once she went to Mr. Ismadi with her uncle, who happens to be a friend of HEP big boss Mr.Hafiz, Mr.Ismadi straight away gave her a list of 5-6 rooms with unoccupied beds. What the fish! So the offices are in a conspiracy to always make things hard for students or what? Unbelievable. For 5 friggin months! Despite her effort she got nothing, and suddenly that.

I can’t deny the relief of having less people in the room , though.

And btw, i was approached by Abg Mie for this year’s Sukad Female Tennis captain.

I.

Do.

NOT.

Want.

This.

Arggghh!!! But i don’t know to whom shall i shove entrust the post to. It’ll be irresponsible for me to just say no without suggesting a replacement. In this year’s team, there are two 5th year (exam), two 3rd year (exam), and a 2nd year (freshie in the team, never been to Sukad, can’t let her handle).

So u see, Arggghh!!! Darn it.

I don’ t know. Now i just try not to think about it. I just go to the court and play.

Urim and Thummim. Be it white, or black? Black. Please.

p/s: i am just referring to the fiction’s urim thummim by the way. nothing israelite biblical shall i do. i’ll stick to solat istikarah, thanks.
