I breathed a sigh of relief when Condi said on Hannity a couple of weeks ago that she had no intention to seek or be the VP. So, how did she end up on the top of Romney’s list and what are some of the possible ramifications?

Ignores Conservative Base: Romney once again failed to understand that the conservative wing of the Republican Party is still NOT enthused about his candidacy. Conservatives were hoping that Rubio or another true conservative would be selected to balance Romney’s centrist leanings. Condi’s semi-pro-choice stance will not endear her and Romney the Christian Conservatives. Condi is not perceived as a conservative and just slightly less liberal than Colin Powell.

Keeps “Hate Bush” Alive: Condi is definitely tied to the Bush Administration serving both as the head of the National Security Agency and then took over as Secretary of State. The left and Obama will hog tie her to Bush and market this as a continuation of Bush policies.

Black Vote: Condi probably will not help Romney make any kind of dent in Obama’s popularity in the African-American community. The pundits will never use the terms Black or African-American anywhere near the name Condoleezza Rice. In short, she could end up being a net negative in the Black community. Romney started a great dialog with the Black community at the NAACP convention yesterday. Maybe she can carry this message forward especially those Romney made on education and the dire need for choice in education for Blacks.

Hispanic Vote: There is no doubt that Rubio could have made a dent in Obama’s lead in the Hispanic community. Condi will not have much impact with this group.

——

The trial balloon of Condi for VP feels like it came from the same Republican insiders who supported Romney over every other Republican candidates in the primary. This decision appears to be one more that the conservative base will have to swallow in order to defeat Obama. Those of us in that camp will still vote for Romney over Obama any day of the week. The key question will be whether Condi is a street fighter politician that can fend off the media and the Obama machine who will painted her as an “Auntie Tom”. She was not particularly strong during her tenure in the Bush Administration. She is extremely bright and is an excellent analyst. Not sure she has the management skill or temperament for the VP job? We will see…

Not My Fault!

I hope everyone is tired of the Left and the Right blaming each other for the failures of our country economically and the social crash into moral relativism. I know I am. They both need to look in the mirror and grow up! Our political party structure is such that the last thing either party wants is to be bothered with the US Constitution. RINOs complain but do not act against unconstitutional legislation that the left passes or even try to fix bad decisions by the US Supreme Court when the RINOs have the chance. The Right is hell-bent on Status Quo, and the Left is hell-bent on socialism and moral relativism. What you get in this situation is a ratchet effect. The gear can only move one way. The left moves the country to the left when it is in power, then the Right does nothing to move the country and society back to the right when they are in power, they maintain status quo!

Common Sense?:

Practically every American who is not in Congress, the Administration or the Judicial System, knows that today’s economy and social structure is bad and competing forces are driving both into catastrophic levels of demise. It does not seem like there is anyone who understands the complexities of the economy and have the guts to run for Congress or the Presidency. We have devolved into the abyss of political ideology ran by idealogues on both ends of the spectrum.

There is no one speaking “common sense” on either the economy or why socially we are fragmenting into a bitter quagmire or diverse sub cultures rather than continuing towards the color blind society envisioned by true civil rights leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr.. Unfortunately, the people are bombarded with 24-7 manipulated news cycles that serve to bombard your senses with sound bites rather than true analysis and un biased commentary. The result is a frustrated electorate, a staggering economy, and a racially divided country, and competing and truly mutually exclusive competing political/economic ideologies.

There have been many pieces of key legislation that have brought us to the point we are today but I have picked a few “groups” of legislation that are at least key contributors. Until we start to address the fundamental problems in these pieces of legislation or re-establish their controls in some cases, or fundamentally reverse the impacts of others, we will continue to experience an out of control economic system. Remember one fact in politics. When barriers are erected to protect us average schmucks, the politicians will find a way to tear those down so their big donors can grow and increase their money and power base.

Federal Reserve Act of 1913:

I am not going to argue too much whether we should have a Fed or not but my point is that a control was put in place, then over 200 pieces of legislation have since been enacted to expand and change the scope of the original intent of this control legislation. The Fed today is not your Father’s Fed! The original Fed was set up to merely stabilize our currency against fluctuations from abroad or regional problems within the US that causes problems throughout our financial systems. Initially each of the Fed’s 12 districts was responsible for monitoring the health of the banking industry within its district. Due to a plethora of banking and Fed legislative changes, soon banks were international in scope and the local Fed districts were virtually irrelevant in controlling the banks within their districts. The idea of using the districts of “firewalls” to stop the spread of a financial crisis in one district spreading to the others was a good one. But the politicians were not happy with controlling their large financial industry donors. Also, within the over 200 changes, the scope of the Fed changed to include controlling inflation and has now even morphed into supporting the President’s fiscal policies, whether they are in the best interest of the country as a whole or not. Then, with Dodd-Frank, the Fed has been given out of control power to micro manage most of the private sector with little or no oversight. The Fed has become a super financial agency responsible to no one and managed and staffed by people who were elected by NO ONE!

The Fed is a great example of how politicians punt! They create a quasi something institution that they can claim no responsibility for then cry foul when they don’t like what the agency does. The Fed has served its purpose from time to time but it us now time for adults to sit down and restructure or eliminate the Fed. The Fed can print money at will regardless of the foreign policy and local economic impacts. Congress has little or no oversight over the day-to-day transactions of the Fed and what it does within and without or financial borders.

The Glass-Steagal Act of 1933 (aka Banking Act of 1933) and the Gramm-Leach-Bililey act of 1999 (aka the Financial Services Modernization Act of 1999):

Almost everyone has heard of the Great Depression that hit the world in the 1920′s and 30′s that left the world reeling for years. in 1933, Congress passed the Glass-Steagal Act (GSA) that was intended to create a structure within our financial system that would prohibit banks and investment companies from adding undue risk into our economic system that could cause another Depression. But, the “Depression of 2008″ is in many ways just as bad as the Great Depression. So what happened?

GSA set up barriers between commercial banks (ie Bank of America), securities firms (ie Morgan Stanley) and insurance companies (ie Travelers Insurance) so the banking industry could not take undue risks in shaky investments, market positions or insurance coverages through their securities and insurance subsidiaries. GSA also established the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation to insure individual’s bank deposits up to the limits set by the FDIC. What Glass and Steagal were attempting to do is create firewalls between differing types of financial institutions SO THEY DID NOT GET TOO BIG TO FAIL. Sound familiar.

GSA soon became the target of special banking interests and politicians who were trying to expand their banking/securities/insurance holdings in order to grow and continue to line the pockets of politicians. By the end of the Clinton era, those in power passed the Gramm-Leach-Bililey act of 1999 (GLB) which basically repealed the banking controls in GSA. Before Republicans get all puffy chested, all three of the sponsors of the GLB were REPUBLICANS. Although I personally have no respect for John Dingal Democrat from Michigan, at least he raised the point that if GLB passed, “the bill would result in banks becoming “too big to fail.” Dingell further argued that this would necessarily result in a bailout by the Federal Government“. How prophetic was that? TARP anyone? This was 9 years prior to the Depression of 2008!

Just prior to the passage of GLB, Citibank had bought Travelers Insurance which was a violation under GSA. Well, just so Democrats don’t get too cocky, little Timmy Geithner was at the New York Fed and granted Citibank absolution for this violation of the law and allowed the transaction to stand until GLB could be passed in the next year! Politicians and their puppets in Federally chartered agencies are manipulated to help large donor constituents at the expense of solvency for taxpayers. Get why both sides stink yet?

To make sure that the big players in the banking industry were protected, GLB also repealed Glass–Steagall’s conflict of interest prohibitions “against simultaneous service by any officer, director, or employee of a securities firm as an officer, director, or employee of any member bank“. The law also then allowed for Commercial banks, Securities Firms, Insurance Companies, and MORTGAGE INSTITUTIONS to be under one happy roof. No one in their right mind would ever put all of these eggs into one basket, except a politician! By allowing all of these financial institutions to merge, it set up an even faster demise of smaller commercial banks as the suction from the big money steamrolled over the entire financial sector until today 6 US/Global banks control the vast majority of the world’s financial transactions.

Other examples of well-meaning laws that were passed that have gone bad are Medicare, Social Security, the creation of the EPA and the Department of Energy, and so on. Medicare was expanded so it gave government control over health care reimbursements which inflates and sets the usual and customary fees charged by doctors and hospitals. The government meddling has caused insane cost spirals. Social Security was bastardized to include disabled persons and is also the collection arm for Medicare. SS relies solely on payroll taxes from employees and employers to sustain the system and this past year Congress and the President reduced the employee tax portion thus exacerbating the downward spiraling into bankruptcy of SS! An on and on…. Even the best structured laws and programs are eventually cannibalized and ruined by our politicians. And yet, they are always clamoring that they are the only ones who can FIX the problems that THEY CREATE!!!

If we continue to vote for career politicians and re-elect those who have been ruining this country during our lifetime, we will get what we deserve, a third-rate country! We started in 2010 to elect people who will fight for the PEOPLE rather than the power brokers and their own career. That was just a start and there are not near enough of these people in office yet to make a difference. We have to take back the Speakership in the House and the Senate Majority position to start to reshape legislation. We have to get a man or a woman in the WH who get’s what makes this country great and that is not WASHINGTON DC! Those we elect can then ensure that Constitutional Conservatives are appointed to the Judiciary including the Supreme Court. The Constitution has to be re-established as the law of the land and decisions that corrupted the soul of the Constitution have to be reversed.

The private sector and you also has a role. If you own stock in public companies, make sure you vote in boards of directors that look out for the business and not cronies they may have in political offices for the short-term. Don;t allow the boards to buy into political correctness such as “global warming” that is contrary to the best interest of the vast majority of business in the long run. We should all be good stewards of all of the blessings and resources God has given us but that does not include bowing to false ideology that will corrupt and rot the capitalist systems.

Finally, we must take back our Federal, State and Local government employees from the Public Sector Unions. Pensions have to be changed to 401K type of programs, compensation has to be in line with the private sector, and benefit programs should be made to mirror the private sector. FDR was correct when he said that Public Sector Unions were a bad idea as it would pit taxpayers against those who work for them in the government…

Vote Carefully. You only get one!

Why did Boehner Fast Track the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act making Passage Impossible? Did B

Why did Boehner Fast Track the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act making Passage Impossible?

Did Boehner want yet another “NON VOTE” that he and his fellow RINOs could use to say, “Well we voted for prohibiting abortions based on RACE and GENDER but it did not pass? We Tried!” Will Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz, the sponsor of the bill fight to pass this bill through the normal process that only requires a majority vote? Is this just another attempt at using Faux Legislative Processes to try to pull the wool over the eyes of their Republican constituents? Didn’t we take back the House in the 2010 election to stop this kind of nonsense? The Fast Tracked bill actually received 246 votes for approval versus 168 in opposition meaning that the bill would have easily passed had it not been Fast Tracked!

There are Pro-Life groups praising the House and Boehner’s efforts to pass the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act. I am at a loss why this apparent act of cowardice deserves praise except from Planned Parenthood or this Administration. Obama not only did not condemn the practice of aborting unborn children because the child is the wrong Sex or the wrong Race, he actually sympathized with the parent for having to make such a soul-searching decision! This should not surprise anyone since this President sponsored a bill while he was a lawmaker in Illinois to require a second physician to kill a baby born alive after a botched abortion by another physician! Isn’t that the very definition of MURDER?

The media condemned China for its barbaric practices of forcing the killing of unborn babies if the parents exceeded their quota or of the Sex of the Child was a female. Now, they are condemning conservatives for trying to stand up for the rights of the unborn not to be slaughtered just because the parent wanted the child to be a different Sex or the Race of the unborn child is not acceptable to the parent.

It is hard to believe that we have devolved to this level since the Roe V Wade decision in 1973. Abortion is not only becoming commonplace and widely accepted by the Left, and now taxpayer paid under Obamacare, parents can now use abortion to select the Child’s Sex or to use abortion to kill the child if the Race of the child is not acceptable to the parent. Why don’t we just let the baby be born, then allow the parent to shoot the child within the first two year’s of its life if the parent decided having this particular child was not convenient!

Has life become so irrelevant that we can so easily extinguish it without any second thought? How about taking responsibility before conception? Are we ever going to mature as a society and once again try to protect unborn children from the selfish destruction by irresponsible parents and government officials? Are we ever going to learn from our non human counterparts in the animal kingdom and fight to the death to protect our unborn and young? Have we arrived at a point where the word “inhumane” should be stricken from our vocabulary since there is nothing left that could be defined as inhumane!

In the upcoming election, we need to vote for true conservatives that can throw out the current RINO leadership in the House and the Senate. If we don’t, we will get more of this lip service with no real change…

Update 5/22/2012

LA Times Slimes Ann Romney-Mitt, if you won’t stick up for yourself and US, you should at least stick up for your wife!

Today the LA Times, the Left Coast version of the NY Times, slammed Ann Romney for having a temper after being deposed for 4 hours + then went onto snidely report that Ann Romney owns very expensive horses as her hobby. The LAT reported, regarding the deposition, “It was a rare moment of pique for Ann Romney, not meant for public consumption, and one that opened a window onto the private world of the would-be first lady.” So Ann actually has a personality and does not like being grilled by an arrogant, pompous attorney. So what! I wish I could hear that same emotion out of Mitt!

Ann Romney rides horses for physical exercise to help to combat the effects of MS. Ann and Mitt Romney have made a lot of money ON THEIR OWN and did not need Tony Rezko’s help not did they get free rides to the best universities in this nation! How the Romney’s spend THEIR OWN MONEY is their business as long as what they buy is not illegal, like Obama’s drugs when he was in college.

Mitt. IF you won’t stand up for yourself or for your supporters against the onslaught of dirt from the left by going after Obama directly and as hard as you can, at least stick up for Ann. She has stood by you and you need to stand by her!

—–

Obama’s Spiritual Leader is Off Limits?

Mitt Romney and John McCain both need to read Sun Tzu’s Art of War. They may realize that in war there are no rules. That our enemies, the Progressive Left, have no “rules of engagement”. No niceties to follow and certainly no Marcus of Queensberry rules to inhibit them. Anything goes and anything, your wife, your children and anything in your past, real or contrived by them. When Romney “Repudiated” an ad that had not even been created or ran yet by one of his supporters, Romney failed to engage in war. Romney lost this battle by allowing our enemies to define to rules of engagement.

After attacks by the Left on Ann Romney, his children, his faith, and yes, even his high school days, Mitt still thinks that by taking the “high road” he will remain above the fray and appear Presidential. Instead, he appears weak and unable to engage in battle. If he can’t stand toe to toe, nose to nose, with Obama and the Left, regardless of Obama’s bi-racial heritage, then how are we to believe Romney will stand up against enemies of this country who threaten our existence. In fact, Obama, and his radical social and economic agenda, are a direct threat to everything this nation stands for and its existence. We want a leader who is not afraid of what the media will say about him or her. A leader who fights with everything at his disposal to win. In short, someone who will fight for US!

One can only hope that we do not need to create the Balls for Romney SuperPac and Mitt will grow his own and start standing up for himself and us against this regime. It does matter who wins and it does NOT necessarily matter how we win. If we lose, we lose, PERIOD.

If we lose then this is the result:

Obama will appoint radical Leftist to replace Justice Kennedy and perhaps Scalia or Thomas if anything happens to them. The Court would then be radically left and unstoppable.

Obama will force a showdown between the State and Religion and Religion will lose, and by extension, us.

Obama will go around an adverse Obamacare decision by the Court somehow by fiat.

If Obamacare is not overturned by the court, Obama will create a Single Payer, totally government ran healthcare system and nationalize healthcare.

Obamacare will force out religious healthcare facilities and secularize their replacement.

Obama will no longer attempt to be energy independent and Obama will pour every dime we can scrape up in taxes for “green energy”.

Obama will demilitarize itself including unilateral nuclear disarmament.

Obama will allow the Middle East and Africa to complete its Islamic Radicalization and create a global force that will challenge the West especially since it will control all of the energy reserves.

Obama will continue to nationalize more industries such as oil, banking, investment and other core sectors of the economy.

The list will go on and on.

So Mitt, when you unilaterally decide to play nice, you jeopardize not only your election but our future. You should use the same tactics you used against Santorum, Gingrich, Perry and Bachman against Obama. The stakes are much higher now. You won the first round. The next one is for all of the marbles. YOU OWE IT TO US TO FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING YOU CAN FIND TO USE AGAINST OBAMA. This is not your election, IT IS OURS.

Santorum backers believe that if Newt gets out, Mitt will be able to spend all of the money Mitt has against Santorum by himself in attack ads which will help Mitt and hurt Santorum.

In either case, Newt is not getting out nor should he! This is the most important election this Republic has faced since its inception. The more we can debate and defend core conservative principles, the better off we are as a party and a nation.

The elephant in the room is Ron Paul but no one is saying much about him at this point. This elephant is a key swing player in the event Romney needs a few more votes to put him over the top. Romney probably already has a deal with Paul to have Paul get his delegates to back Romney in exchange for something.

So, what is going on with the Math? If you assume that if Santorum ends up ahead of Gingrich or visa versa, the other will join forces with the leader to defeat Romney. This strategy also somewhat mitigates or at least dilutes Romney’s vast treasure chest for negative ads. IF he has to split his ad buy between Rick and Newt, it softens the blow somewhat and allows Rick and Newt to counterpunch. So how could they end up ahead of Romney if they combine their forces?

Hypothetically:

There are roughly 18 States left that Proportion their delegates based on the vote percentage. There is one state, Indiana, that is a hybrid State but I doubt that anyone will get over 50% of the vote so I consider that to be proportional.

There are 8 States left that are Winner Take All states based on who gets the largest number of votes.

If you assume that the Proportional State roughly split along the line of 30% – 35% for the top three with Paul picking up 3-4%, and Santorum or Newt has a slight edge in Illinois, Missouri, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Texas, New Mexico, South Dakota, Nebraska and Montana, Rick and Newt would end up with about 550 Delegates and Romney/Paul 165 Delegates.

If you assume that in the Winner Take All states, Romney takes Puerto Rico, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, New Jersey, and Utah, and Santorum or Newt takes California, and Wisconsin, Romney would get 186 Delegates and Rick/Newt would get 214 Delegates if they carry California and Wisconsin.

As of March 13th, Romney and Paul had 543 Delegates and Santorum and Gingrich had 383 Delegates.

Combining all of the current and upcoming primaries, Santorum/Gingrich could surpass the 1144 Delegates needed and Romney/Paul could come up short around 1,000.

This of course is hypothetical but actually not that far-fetched. California is obviously the key for Santorum/Gingrich. This will be tough given Romney’s war chest. The RINOs would not go along with the possibility and would poo-poo and possibility of this playing out. But when they try to tell you that it is impossible for Santorum/Gingrich to win, don’t believe it. It is up to you that have State Primaries left.

This exercise merely points out that “conventional wisdom” is usually wrong on some level and the wisdom is merely an attempt to influence you into a decision of their liking.

And this guy is the Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Services? He is now “means” testing retired military personnel which means the higher the retirement pay, the more they will be paying for healthcare that was included when they signed on to defend this country some 20 years ago! According to congressional assessments, a retired Army colonel with a family currently paying $460 a year for health care will pay $2,048 or 4.5 times as much as they are now! IF that same person was a Civilian Union Military worker, there would be NO change in their benefit costs… TALK ABOUT THE WRONG STUFF!

I just don’t understand two things:

How even a Democrat can’t see that this President will do anything to discourage our military including robbing their benefits, apologizing for their actions when it is unnecessary and harmful to our troop safety, and slap them in the face by coddling their union civilian counterparts.

Republican-Cave-In-Artists: Let’s see if our fearless (not) Speaker of the House and our dynamic (not) Senate Majority Leader have a pair and stand up against this assault on our military, present and past. Or, if they will say that we only control 1/2 of 1/3 of the government. If they take this position again, and Boehner is reelected this fall, I hope Ohio (Boehner’s state) secedes from the Union! There has to be someone in that state capable of beating this guy. We are stuck with McConnell for another 4 years but I hope the Kentucky Tea Party has a long memory.

Romney lied about Catholic institutions in Massachusetts not having to provide “emergency cont

Romney lied about Catholic institutions in Massachusetts not having to provide “emergency contraception to rape victims”. He said, “No, absolutely not. Of course not”. Should Romney be discredited and even come out with a clarification to this outright untruth?

The truth is that On December 8, 2005 Romney reversed the legal opinion of his own State Department of Public Health, instructing all Catholic hospitals and others to provide the chemical Plan B “morning after pill” to rape victims. Romney was quoted as saying: “I think, in my personal view, it’s the right thing for hospitals to provide information and access to emergency contraception to anyone who is a victim of rape.” Let me reiterate what he said Wednesday night in the debate regarding requiring Catholic institutions to provide abortifacients to rape victims: “No, absolutely not. Of course not“.

Making sure that candidates state facts correctly is essential during the debate process as the Presidency of the United States is at stake. Also, a viewer may not see a retraction on page 50 of some newspaper and take what the candidate said was factual. Getting statistics absolutely correct is difficult when under fire but recounting your own actions and statements should not be too difficult. Especially when the topic is abortion and Romneycare/Obamacare. This is not an insignificant topic and we need the truth.

If Romney lies about this topic, how can viewers actually take anything he says as truthful? The said fact is that Romney was coronated as the winner over Santorum at this debate. How do you debate another candidate who lies? We observed this same phenomena out of Barack Obama during the 2008 campaign. He lied and misstated his positions day after day and no one called him on his deceptions. Republicans need to keep their own house clean and sanction Romney for his lies. There is too much at stake to turn a blind eye again in 2012.

Do you ever get the feeling that you must be the dumbest person to every walk this planet because ev

Do you ever get the feeling that you must be the dumbest person to every walk this planet because everything you see and hear does not make sense to you? But you are too timid to ask any questions or state your disagreement? Well it is time to stand up. You are not dumb, you have common sense. You are not timid, you have a right to state your opinion and demand your rights with the majority who agree with you. Here are a few things to start with.

Definition: Natural Selection = Survival of the Fittest, or, death to the dumbest!

Your Kid’s Lunch: Do you really think that the government can feed your kids better than you can? Do you think that this is the role of government? Do you think a 4-year-old should be told by a bureaucrat that her mommie is not providing a good lunch for her? Probably not. How did we get here?

School Vouchers: You know that School vouchers help raise the poor out of poverty by giving their children a solid education and allow them to climb out of poverty. You also know that the “civil rights” leaders would rather keep these people poor and politically dependent on them. You keep scratching your head and say if it costs less to have vouchers and more charter schools, why is the government killing them? Because Unions are more important to the government ruling class than actually helping the poor. How did we get here?

Energy Independence-$4-5 Gas: Since we have one of the largest energy reserves in the US, why aren’t we developing our own energy and be energy independent? Why are we paying $4 for gas when it should be below $2. To eliminate global warming? Really? You know that this is a fallacious argument and does not hold water. You know that virtually no one ever sees ANWAR in Alaska and the existing pipeline has had no impact on our environment. Then why are we putting up with the greenies who are stopping all domestic energy development? It is time to say no! How did we get here?

Electric Cars: If and when the technology makes electric cars acceptable to consumers we will demand that they be made and available for sale. I drive a Prius because I commute 500 miles a week and I am cheap. I would prefer driving our 500SL but it sucks up gas like it is going out of style. Get out of our face with this green crap and carbon dioxide poisoning scare and global warming. There is no proof for global warming or carbon dioxide causing the green house gasses to cause increased surface temperatures. In fact, the opposite is true. How did we get here?

Who out those Stupid Yellow Raised Button Mats Outside of the Stores you Shop?: You know, those mats that jiggle everything in your cart and trip your grandmother when her walker gets caught on one of the raised buttons! They are intended to warn shoppers that they are about to cross into traffic! Really? How dumb do they think we are. I think we can figure out that we are about to cross into a parking lot where cars are moving about. If we don’t, another benefit for natural selection. How did we get here?

Why is Spray Paint Locked up at Home Depot?: Because a few dummies use spray paint to get high on. Some die. Good, helps balance out natural selection… Meanwhile, the rest of us have to go find a non existent Home Depot employee to help us and unlock the paint jail. How did we get here?

Buying Morphine is Easier than buying Aleve-D: Ever try to buy sinus, cold and cough medicine that contains pseudoephedrine which some dummies use to make methamphetamine to get high on? You have to sign the little signature pad and give the pharmacist your driver’s license. Good grief, if these guys want to blow their brains out on Meth, let them. Another boost to improved natural selection. How did we get here?

Do you Really Need to see how many calories are in a Big Mac?: You know that a hamburger has more calories than you would normally consume but maybe once a week or a month you reward yourself and have a good old greasy hamburger. But no, the government makes McDonald’s and other restaurants put the number of calories on their menu. You know that if you eat 3 or 4 of these a day you will be fat and probably die of a heart attack or a stroke. Period, end of discussion. Has the calorie warning ever stopped the 350 pound guy in line in front of you from ordering 4 Big Macs? Not on your life. Another boost to improved natural selection How did we get here?

Post Office: Ever wonder why your costs for stamps keeps going up while the only mail you get is junk mail? I’ll bet 90% of the junk mail never makes it past the garbage can. The Post Office says that it cannot survive without junk mail. Well, maybe you are providing a service no one really wants and we need to rethink how we use mail and what the service level should be. The Post Office has a fleet of vehicles larger than Wal-Mart and in fact is the largest fleet in the world. Their employees receive lifetime defined benefit retirement and healthcare packages. Fed-Ex employees are non-union, have a 401K retirement and do not get other lifetime benefits the Postal Service receives. Can’t we stop this waste? How did we get here?

HOV or Car Pool Lanes: Have you ever sat in traffic for hours and looked at the carpool lane that was virtually empty and wondered how that is adding to lower emissions? Or, what a waste of a lane that could be used for all cars and maybe, just maybe, not have so many cars idling away and burning fuel without moving an inch? Has anyone made the greenies in or government study whether HOV lanes actually reduce traffic and lower emissions. NOPE. And if they did, they would be opening up those lanes tomorrow. How did we get here?

Diverting Water to save a microscopic shrimp or fish and artificially causing a drought: This is a hot issue in California. We are in a constant drought condition as the greenies has a court order demanding that potential drinking water must flow into the Delta and then out to the ocean rather than be used for drinking water for humans or be used for agriculture. Why, because they claim that it would endanger a very small fish and shrimp that resides in the delta. California has not built addition dams and water storage facilities in decades while its population doubled. It is time to tell the greenies to go buy an island and start building dams and let the people and agriculture use the water. How did we get here?

There are thousands of other examples that you and I fall prey to everyday. Every day more and more freedoms are slipping through our fingers and going down the liberal drain. We need to say NO to greenies and others who seek to take everything away from us and our kids. It is not too late but Close! The next election is the election to decide the ultimate fate of our nation. We need to replace this president and most of the Congress and put people in office that actually listen to us. It is up to you!

Knock, Knock, Anyone Awake?

For those of us that are working and have a mortgage or are refinancing think that the GOVERNMENT GAVE US A TAX BREAK BY REDUCING OUR SOCIAL SECURITY (FICA) BY 2% FOR 2 MONTHS! WRONG! You get to pay for this ‘TAX BREAK” for everyone else! How? The way the bill was written it would be “paid” for by a 1/10 of a percent tax on home mortages for THE LIFE OF THE LOAN or 10 years!!! Ever see a fee increase be removed? NOPE. Still have Korean war tax on liquor…

If you are MIDDLE CLASS and have a mortgage or are refinancing, here is how bad you are getting screwed…

Here is your portion of the Mortage “FEE”: (the law says the fee lasts for 10 years or the life of the loan. Ever seen a tax or fee repealed? NO!)

$200,000 mortgage ($15.00/mo): 20 year term, your fee = $3,600

$200,000 mortgage ($15.00/mo): 30 year term, your fee = $5,400

$500,000 mortgage ($42.00/mo): 20 year term, your fee = $10,080

$500,000 mortgage ($42.00/mo): 30 year term, your fee = $15,120

Your Social Security 2 Month Tax “Break” is only $353 for the two months if you make $106,000 or more per year! What a bargain that is!

FEEL A LITTLE DUPED YET? CONSIDER THIS:

These fees will raise $37.5 Billion dollars BUT DOES NOT GO TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY TRUST FUND. IT GOES TO THE GENERAL GOVERMENT SLUSH FUND SO THEY CAN SPEND IT ANYWAY CONGRESS AND THE PRESIDENT WANT TO!!! More Chevy Volts and Solindra anyone?

To make matters even worse, YOUR SOCIAL TAX “BREAK” TOOK MONEY OUT OF YOUR RETIREMENT!!!

To add insult to injury, the same bunch are huddled together to see if they can extend this fiasco until the end of the year. How much more will they tack onto your mortgage costs this round!

BRILLIANT!!!

Still Believe Obama and the House Republicans and Senate Democrats? If you do believe in any of them, and you have a mortgage or are refinancing under this bill, you deserve this deal.

Think it might be time to run them all out of town and start over? Time for the Tea Party to ramp up and time to get a conservative in the White House. The only conservative left in this race is Rick Santorum. The others are more of the same and probably would have voted for this same deal.

Romney is less a conservative than John McCain. Both are big government, Republican insiders, who will do anything to maintain the status quo.

Do you honestly think someone can have an epiphany and TOTALLY reverse their CORE BELIEFS on Abortion; Defense of Marriage Act; believing that Socialism as a State Level is different from Socialism at the Federal level; Carbon Dioxide caused Global Warming; TARP; Auto Bailout; and on and on? If you do, you probably thought McCain was a conservative as well.

Or, are you like me who said that I’ll vote for McCain once, but never again will I subvert my principles for another RINO?

You got excited about the 2010 Elections where we took back the house and would have taken back the Senate if it were not for all of the Washington Insiders bashing Sharon Angle, Christine O’Donnell and others. Then, we watched as Boehner and McConnell once again entrenched the old Republican Insider machine and crushed the 100 or so Tea Party representatives that we voted into office. Many of us blamed those Tea Party representatives for their failures to adhere to core conservative principles when it was the success of the Republican insiders that was really the culprit.

Those same Republican Insiders are out in force now pushing Romney down your throat. They made sure they got rid of very electable conservatives like Bachman, Cain and Perry early on so to pave the way for Romney. Santorum is the only true conservative left in this race but unfortunately he lacks the charisma and the $$$ to knock off either Romney or Newt. Palin sacrificed enough at the hands of the Republican Elite in 2008 and beyond so you can’t blame her for sitting this one out.

So what do we do? We don’t have the time, money or the mechanism to start a viable 3rd party that could ensure the defeat of Obama. So, do we have to hold our collective noses again and vote for Romney or Newt if they are the candidate?

Probably.

But we need to make sure the Tea Party organizations coalesce and start building a solid coalition that can be an outright competitor to the Republican Insiders even at the presidential level.

We also need to take back the Senate and replace RINO Representatives with Conservatives.

We need to get Bachman back in the House and support her ascension to the Speaker’s position.

Rand Paul or Marco Rubio need to replace Boehner as the Senate Majority Leader. Rubio will probably be tapped by Romney or Newt as a VP or cabinet choice.

I still hope that somehow Santorum sticks it out if for no other reason than to keep the contrast between Romney or Newt and conservatism. In my wildest dream Santorum would be the Republican candidate and beat Obama in a landslide. I have talked to countless people who say that they prefer Santorum but don’t think he can win. Then they say, that is why I am voting for Romney or Newt. That is about as logical as Mitt Romney’s global warming logic…

“I don’t speak for the scientific community, of course. But I believe the world is getting warmer. I can’t prove that, but I believe based on what I read that the world is getting warmer. And number two, I believe that humans contribute to that. I don’t know how much our contribution is to that, because I know there have been periods of greater heat and warmth in the past, but I believe that we contribute to that.”

So, forget about whether the media thinks that Santorum is capable of being elected President. Vote for Santorum in the Primary then we can help him win the Presidency. Don’t follow Romney’s flawed global warming logic when selecting a candidate. If you are a conservative, then Santorum is your candidate. If you think that a moderate Republican is OK, then vote for Newt. If you think that a Liberal is OK as the Republican Candidate, then vote for Romney.

Just remember what Albert Einstein said:

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Nominating a RINO and expecting to move this country back to its Constitutional Roots is the Epitome of Insanity.

Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney need to grow up and stop the negative campaigning on truly insignifica

Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney need to grow up and stop the negative campaigning on truly insignificant issues. They need to focus on their philosophy, their programs, and the plight of the American People. Unfortunately negative ads work so my plea is probably for naught. You can’t attack Mitt’s income without attacking capitalism which is dumb at best. You can’t attach Newt’s Speakership without siding with Nancy Pelosi! STOP!

Newt, between taxes and charitable contributions Mitt paid out 40% of his income in 2010. His charitable contributions equaled 15%! His income is primarily from investment income which is fine. He made his money as a venture capitalist fair and square. VCs are not necessarily the most humane people on this earth but they are a necessary evil to provide capital to start-ups and other businesses that can’t obtain capital through traditional sources such as banks. His investments in Fannie and Freddie were through Goldman Sachs funds that had literally 100′s of companies that it invested in. So what! I would rather have the private sector invest in Freddie and Fannie than have the taxpayers bail them out!

Mitt, Newt made a lot of enemies in the House back in the 90′s. He helped defeat the Democrats in the House for the first time in 40 years. The house ethics rules back then made it easy to file ethics charges against a ham sandwich let alone the guy who was their poster child for their loss of power. In the end, all of the supposed fines were dropped. He was the House whip when George Bush I reneged on his pledge for no new taxes. Newt opposed Bush tax increases so Newt is now hated by the entire Bush Machine. So now, you have the Bush Machine, including ex chief of staff John Sununu bad mouthing Newt at every turn.

Both of these candidates need to focus on Obama and his SOTU address where Obama doubled down on his class warfare and set up a summer of discontent. Unchecked, Obama will foment riots in the streets this summer and a radical turn towards a not so civil war based on Saul Alinski, Karl Marx, and Sir Thomas More tactics!

Newt, Mitt, Santorum and Paul have to stand up for the American Dream and stop hammering each other with idiotic themes. When they are on debates, do not answer any questions that are not policy based and focus on defining the differences between themself and Obama. This is not rocket science. It is, however, a matter of life and death!

The most critical Presidential Election issue is the fact that at least 2 Supreme Court Justices will leave the court in the next 4 years. Have any of the candidates mentioned this? If we hand this election to Obama by all of this inside bickering, we will end up with the most liberal Supreme Court since the Warren or Burger courts. We need a Vince Lombardi to help keep these candidates focused!

If you want to out a face and a voice to the Republican Elite, just tune in to Ann Coulter’s

If you want to out a face and a voice to the Republican Elite, just tune in to Ann Coulter’s “analysis” of the Republican Primary Season. On Fox and Friends this morning, instead of blaming Romney for his poor showing in South Carolina for his poor showing this week at the debates and his total incompetence in handling his own tax disclosure, she blames Romney’s defeat on MISGUIDED PRIORITIES OF SOUTH CAROLINA VOTERS. Wow, Ann, take a page out of the Obama playbook blaming everyone except yourself and your candidate for their own failure? Maybe you, Romney and the rest of the Republican Elite should take stock of what you and Romney did wrong!

Instead of introspection and an honest post-mortem of the SC election, Ann defended Romney’s strategy by saying, “No, he’s doing fine,”. Really Anne? He lost in Iowa and South Carolina after being deemed the Republican 2012 King by you and your fellow elites. He has used his Super PACs to demonize his opponents with a scorched earth approach to political ads.

Coulter went on to say: “This is not going be the electorate in the fall. I am pretty sure we’ll get everyone who voted for McCain — since no one voted for McCain because we liked McCain — it was to stop Obama. We have those voters.” Let me see if I get her logic:

The Republicans ran another insider pick in 2008, McCain, and we lost;

Romney is the only one who can defeat Obama;

The McCain voters will be ready to support Romney in the November election;

Ergo we have to stop relating to candidates we like and support Romney as he is the only conservative solution.

Earth to Ann: Romney hasn’t broken the 30% barrier with voters yet except for his adopted home state of New Hampshire. Even there, he only polled at 39%! If Santorum had not been in the race in SC, Gingrich most likely would have ended up in the 50% range.

You may think “us hicks and dummies” can only relate to cute soundbites or snide attacks at the media by one of OUR candidates but you are dead wrong. We are pissed off at losing to Obama in 2008 because the Republican Elite shoved McCain down our throats and we now face the front door of socialism because of that elite coronation.

You think we overlooked Newt’s marital failures but we did not. These failures have been vetted over and over again and we believe Newt when he says he takes responsibility for those failures and has asked forgiveness from HE who counts. You now try to paint the SC voters as returning to their Southern Democrat roots! I could not have made up what you said this AM so here are your own words:

“I think South Carolina is going back to its Democratic roots,” she said. “I mean, to not care about that, that’s the position of the Democratic Party. The arguments I hear on behalf of Gingrich on this is we heard for two solid years about Bill Clinton. I never thought I would hear conservative make those arguments. I promise you, if Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum have cheated on two wives — that we know, the open marriage thing is the only thing he contests, we know he cheated on two wives — I wouldn’t supporting Mitt Romney. I wouldn’t support Rick Santorum.”

We stood by when the media lynched Herman Cain and the Republican elites stood on the sidelines adding their own snide remarks that helped lead to his demise. No more…

Earth to Ann: We don’t care what you, the Republican Elites, the Elite Media, and the Bush clan think about this election. God willing, we will pick our own candidate this time. We did a good job cleaning house in 2010 without your help and we will continue to do so in 2012…

All of the pundits cite Romney’s great organization skills; his ability to raise money; his

All of the pundits cite Romney’s great organization skills; his ability to raise money; his “conservative” values and track record; and the way he “looks” presidential on stage. So why did Romney lose Iowa and South Carolina. Simple. Romney is boring and has the charisma of a rock! Romney talks and behaves like he really is not all that engaged in the campaign. He tries to elevate his voice to make points sound sincere but it comes across hollow. We did not buy into John McCain and we are not buying into Romney.

No matter how much the Republican elite try to shove him down our throats, we are not buying the package. Chris Christie, Karl Rove, Dana Perino, and the entire Bush Empire and their elite money machines are selling Romney because he will maintain their “Republican” status quo. The Republican elite and media tries to tell us that he is the only one who can debate Obama. Romney has not decisively won a debate so far this season. Ron Paul connects better with voters in debates than does Romney.

Why did Santorum win in Iowa? Because he went to every single county multiple times and let the people touch and feel him. In Iowa, face to face sells unless you screw up major in a debate which Santorum did not. Santorum, however passionate he is in his gut, does not come across as well in debates as he does in person. In debates, he tends to be perceived as aloof and whiney. In person, his passion comes across much better. Unfortunately for Santorum, the rest of the primaries will be decided more on debate performance as they rest of the states will come at the candidates rapidly precluding a lot of face time.

Why did South Carolina votes break for Newt? Because, regardless of the media’s hammering of his “personal values”, he comes across passionate about the plight of Americans, Religious freedom, Obama’s failures, how to fix Social Security and Medicare, and State’s rights. You can actually touch and feel his passion. Newt would have surged and stayed on top earlier if it weren’t for his own style and way of scaring people like he did when he threatened to fire all of the federal judges. I agree with this sentiment but it is something you do quietly after the election or you have to take the time to bring the public along with you.

The Elite Republican insiders may be able to eventually buy this election by pumping an inordinate amount of money into Romney’s campaign, but if that happens, we will end up with another John McCain who will eventually wimp out against Obama. The Left does not play fair; they will lie; they will cheat and they will pull out all of the stops to keep Obama in play. You better have a lot of fire in your belly to go up against this crowd. Romney so far does not show this level of committment.

The Defense Department Authorization bill just passed by the Senate by a 93 to 7 vote included a rep

The Defense Department Authorization bill just passed by the Senate by a 93 to 7 vote included a repeal of existing prohibitions for both Sodomy and Bestiality and Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham did not know these provisions were in the bill. So, it will now be legal for a member of the military to engage in Sodomy or Bestiality, I guess it is possible to do both simultaneously. Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, (McCain and Graham) both claimed they did not know this provision was in the 926 page bill. DUH! This is bad enough but what if the bill had the closing down of the US Marine Corps in it! They may have missed that little gem as well…

I guess it is too much for us to ask our Congressmen and Women to actually read the bills they vote on.

McCain and Graham are either (take your pick)

Illiterate.

Incompetent.

Not fit for the Job–Too busy to actually read the bills they vote on.

These guys pull in around $180,000 a year plus all kinds of perks and pretty much unlimited staff budgets. They only actually work around 1,040 hours a year, when you exclude fund-raising, lobbying junkets, state dinners, etc.. So this amounts to about $170 per hour not including perks. Not a bad gig if you can get it. On top of this, they do not even have to know what they are voting on!

What if Bill Gates, or Herman Cain, signed off on a personal policy change that allowed discrimination against gays at Microsoft (or the NRA), because that change was embedded in a management memorandum that covered several hundred pages and pertained to all of the operations at Microsoft (or the NRA), but poor old Bill (or Herman) just did not read it or see it in the document. I am sure the government, the media, and the progressives would give Bill (or Herman)a pass! Yea Right!

Some may try to excuse McCain or Graham or the rest of the Senators who voted for the bill. But the truth is that the repealing section is called out as “REPEAL OF SODOMY ARTICLE” on page 174. Kind of hard to miss… The word Sodomy mught get your attention enough to actually read on to make sure you agreed with the new language for “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”.

(d) REPEAL OF SODOMY ARTICLE.–Section 926 of such title (Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice UCMJ) is repealed.

The text in Article 125 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice reads:

      (a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration , however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense.

    (b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

I guess now the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” is extended to animals. Maybe someone should warn the sheep and goats in countries where we have troops deployed!

It may be interesting to see how this plays out when sodomy is between a man and a woman. There are articles in the UCMJ that prohibit sex between member of the armed forces, kind of. I guess sodomy may not be excluded from a sex act according to the UCMJ?

RD Pierini

PS: Sarah Palin: I wish you would not have endorsed McCain in his last run for the Senate. We are targeting Lindsey Graham in 2014. OOPS, I used the “T” word!

John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Karl Levin and others rammed through Senate Bill 1867, the NDAA, that allows the US Military to arrest and detain, US Citizens, on US Soil, under the ”worldwide indefinite detention without charge or trial” provision of the bill.

Do you want to let that sink in for a minute?

If you thought the Patriot Act was a bit overboard, just wait for this one to kick in!

You could be taken into custody: without due process; without access to legal representation; hauled off to anywhere in the world; held; interrogated; and even tried in a military court under this law.

American Citizens currently have, until this bill is adopted, some protection against their own military under the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 which prohibited the military from performing law enforcement functions on US soil. Section 1031 of this bill essentially repeals the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 and allows the US military to roam around the country, supposedly looking for terrorists, and arresting US Citizens, even in their own homes!

I guess what bothers me even worse is that someone I had to vote for to be my President of the US, John McCain has been one of the driving forces behind this terrible bill. This is a man who was a prisoner of war and tortured by our enemies voting to give the same right to our military to perform on our own citizens. Then, his idiotic sidekick Lindsey Graham, is right behind him as always being John Jr. pushing the bill as well. Lindsey used the lame excuse that we can bomb you, shoot you or detain you in a foreign country but if you get into the US, we have read you your Miranda rights. Hey dummy, we are US citizens. Quit giving terrorist US Citizenship and you won’t have this problem. It is called border control. We can only hope that this bill is killed in the House of Representatives.

The vote in the Senate was basically Veto Proof at 61-37. The WH has been claiming that it would veto this bill if passed. Yea Right! IF Obama did not want this bill passed, do you really think Dingy Harry Reid would have even allowed it to come to the floor for a vote!

I don’t know about you, but do you really want Obama, or any other President you have not yet met, have the power to arrest, detain, interrogate you, enhanced or not, without due process? What Constitutional restraints has this President succumbed to so far? NONE! Now, we are going to make it legal for him to trample all over our rights in the name of terrorism.

One final point. I was always under the impression that if a US citizen was accused of treason, we had laws on the books to deal with treason. You would have to go through our own messy court system but then, we are US citizens! Where do you draw the line? We just have to trust you? Yea Right!

Well RINO-In-Chief, John McCain, said that “The tea party was a movement, not an organization, as we know. And so they’ve kind of receded, there was never any permanency to them.” He said point-blank that he doesn’t expect to see a tea party candidate in the White House any time soon.

Surprised? I am not, consider the source. McCain is a man who piggy-backed the Tea Party movement by naming Sarah Palin as his VP choice purely to overcome his RINO record and philosophy. He then dumped Sarah by allowing his staff to over handle her then feeding her to the media wolves. That is a real man for you.

I hope this really motivates all of us to re-up our Tea Party support. The RINO Republicans and the Democrats both want to dump the Tea Party Conservatives and are jointly and severally doing everything they can to make sure a Tea Party Conservatives like Michelle Bachman, Rick Santorum or Herman Cain do not get the Republican nomination. They have attacked Bachman and have driven her down to single poll digits and would do the same if Santorum dared to break into the 20′s. Obviously we see what is happening to Herman Cain and the degree to which the RINOs and the Progressives will go to eliminate a conservative.

Conservatives have to keep up the attack on the Left which includes RINOs and persevere all throughout this election. Our candidates will be demonized by the Republican Left Wingers and the Progressives alike. Just remember the vicious attacks against Sarah Palin, her daughters, her new son and her family in general. Remember the “electronic lynching” of Clarence Thomas and now Herman Cain. Remember the names and attacks on Michelle Malkin, Michelle Backman, and all of the others to dare to be an African-American or a Woman who happened to be a Conservative.

This is not America and we have to take our country back and put it firmly under God once again. Starting with a prayer would be the best then go to the Tea Party of your choice and get involved. This is not going to be a pretty fight.

I N T H E I R D R E A M S ! ! !

Good old Newsmax printed another fabrication in support of Republican Insiders today. The article was: “Deadlocked Convention Could Turn to Christie, Bush”, by Henry J. Reske. This is just another pro RINO piece by Newsmax who seems hell-bent on replacing Bill Kristol and The Weekly Standard as the head RINO Publication.

I am no longer going to refer to these RINOs as the Republican Elite or as the Republican Insiders but rather what they are, the Left Wing of the Republican Party. The left-wing is still lamenting that Chris Christie did not have enough support to run and Jeb Bush not enough guts to go down in flames by throwing his hat into the ring. Conservatives will never again vote for any in the current batch of “Bush Brothers” as they and their father helped memorialize the Left Wing of the Republican Party. The pictures on our walls are Goldwater and his student, Reagan.

Newsmax asserts that the convention may become deadlocked and not be able to pick a candidate from the assembled group that include Herman Cain, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, Michelle Bachman, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and whats-his-name-RINO from Utah. In this case, they propose that either Christie or Jeb Bush could emerge as the savior for the Republican Party.

To make this ridiculous hypothesis credible, the author quotes Larry Salado as saying, “Yes, I have heard such talk from a few senior Republicans, including one officeholder,”. WOW, another page from Politico using anonymous sources. Conservatives to Newsmax. ANYTHING YOU WRITE FROM NOW ON THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE NAMED SOURCES ARE BEING DISMISSED BY REAL PEOPLE IN THE REAL WORLD. Besides, I can’t remember anyone with a worse analysis record than Larry Sabato, other than maybe Plugs Biden, the VP.

Then, to add insult to injury, this article quotes that bastion of conservative thinking, Andrea Mitchel as asking the question, or rather her hope: “…who would carry the conservative flag if “Cain implodes.” Michael Steele did add some sanity to the discussion in the article by basically saying that a “brokered convention” where someone other than the current slate of candidates would be plucked out of the air and set on the throne of the RINO Convention. At this point, Larry Sabato offered the brilliant comment, “Somehow I don’t think the primary contenders would be happy about that.” No kidding Larry!

We have some real problems facing this nation and I would think the Newsmax could spend their time more productively by maybe asking the Administration just how they plan on digging us out of the hole they have created. About why they cook the books and drop the number seeking employment in order to keep the real unemployment number low than it is. About what on earth is going on in Europe and why aren’t we going to allow Greece, Italy, and Spain to exit the Eurozone, reclaim their own currency and get back on the road to recovery rather than allow France and Germany dictate to the sovereign citizens of those countries and keep them enslaved in the EZ…

Newsmax can keep pushing the Left Wing of the Republican Party but they are being left in the dust. I hope they have a nice picture of Boehner and McConnell as they will be replaced after the 2012 elections. One can only hope that if Bachman does not win the presidency that she goes after the Speaker’s gavel and either Rubio or Paul do the same in the Senate as the majority leader.

The Tea Parties may not be in front of the cameras every day but we are burning up the internet. The press can keep showing the “occupy” freak shows and antics while we quietly pull our forces together to make 2010 look like a warm-up game. Every Left Wing Republican in the House or Senate will be challenged. Karl Rove and Dana Perino, get ready, you aren’t going to like what you are going to see… You may have to move over to MSNBC. Matthews needs some company and the Good Lord knows no one watches him either.

Are Republican Insiders, aka RINOs, not the Tea Party and true conservatives,

actually racists or do they just hate conservatives?

In a piece just posted to the Newsmax Website, Newsmax joined the left-wing media in providing even more “non-facts” out about the allegations against Herman Cain while using Mrs. Cain’s cancellation on Greta Van Susteren’s show tonight to post this hit piece. “Cain’s Wife Pulls Out of First Ever TV Interview”, Friday, 04 Nov 2011 12:09 PM, By Martin Gould and Michelle Lopata”.

The opening sentence start off the piece; “Herman Cain’s wife has pulled out of her first television interview as the sexual harassment claims surrounding her presidential candidate husband continue to grow.” Continue to Grow? There is one documented settlement agreement for one of the women but we do not have any idea what is in the agreement, what the allegation was, and why the settlement was reached. The second women’s claim does not have a documented settlement and is just innuendo while the 3rd is a women who states that she should have filed a harassment claim in the late 90′s, but did not. So “continues to grow” is just another attempt to overplay these allegations, PERIOD. If it weren’t for the left-wing media, abetted by RINO news sites like Newsmax, this story would be a non-starter to go along with the non-facts!

No where in the “article” (editorial would be more accurate), did they have a direct quote from Mrs. Cain nor any noted member of Cain’s staff or Cain himself. Instead, they use the Politico’s in-depth reporting by quoting yet another anonymous source that stated that Mrs. Cain “apparently had a change of heart,” but gave no reason. When are responsible journalists going to start using sourced stories. Why on earth would someone hide behind anonymity to make a statement as lame as this one. Then, why would a so-called conservative site like Newmax stoop so low as to even quote this source? Is there any difference between Politico and Newsmax any longer…not much!

The piece rambles on then uses innuendo from Cain’s book intimating that he has a roving eye or a sexist view of women by quoting; “I was first attracted by her looks, and then I figured out she was also smart”! There is no reason to have this quote in this piece other than to suggest that Herman is a shallow, sexist male, or female for that matter, who “superficially” was attracted to Mrs. Cain’s physical appearance rather than getting to know her inner self and intelligence before being attracted to her. What planet are these people on. Cain was obviously trying to compliment his wife’s appearance rather than make her into a sexual object. Would these people feel better if he had written that “In spite of the fact that she was dog ugly and scared little kids just by looking at them, as soon as I found out she was a Phi Beta Kappa I fell in love with her”!!! Really?

Then, to make sure they did not leave out quotes from every nut job who has a blog or a radio talk show, they quoted Steve Deance who claimed that Can had made awkward and inappropriate comments to two of Deace’s staff when Cain was in his studio. He even went on to say that Cain; “morally inconsistent,” and “compromised in his private life,” adding “the fact the guy’s wife is never around…that’s almost always a warning flag to me.” What did this have to do with the fact that Cain’s wife decided not be on Greta’s show? Maybe Mrs. Cain is like the majority of women in America who actually enjoy a quiet family life and would do anything to keep herself and her kids and grandkids out of the spotlight while still supporting her husband and his career choices. I know this does not fit with the feminist model who condone rape and sexual harassment as long as it is being done by Democrats or Muslims. I don;pt blame her for not wanting to be in the limelight. Who would?

In an attempt to downplay Cain’s continued popularity and high poll numbers, Newsmax added this little gem of a sentence; “Cain has continued to do well in the polls despite the scandal which first broke on Sunday.” Scandal? Nothing has been proven regarding the alleged “sexual harassment” claims, nor was Cain EVER convicted in a criminal court of anything, nor found guilty in a civil court of any wrong doing. Dana Perino and Karl Rove in other articles have made similar statements and have added predictions that Cain will eventually go down do to this “scandal”.

I wrote in an article on September 28th titled, “Herman Cain Beware, You Really Need to Talk to Justice Clarence Thomas”, (http://savernation.wordpress.com/2011/09/28/herman-cain-beware-you-really-need-to-talk-to-justice-clarence-thomas/) warning Cain about the Electronic Lynching that was awaiting he and his wife. I did not realize how prophetic it was at the time nor how many RINOs would pile on and help tie the knot.

What the RINOs, Newsmax, Dana Perino, Karl Rove, and other Republican insiders don’t get is that WE are looking for a conservative who is a real person. A real person who may have some flaws or may not sport the latest hair style nor be politically correct. What we are looking for is a TRUE CONSERVATIVE who is AN INSTINCTIVE TRUE CONSERVATIVE and does not have to have a speech writer tell him or her what to say or what position was popular at a point in time. In the final analysis, Herman Cain may or not be the candidate of choice for the TRUE CONSERVATIVES. But, we will not long allow you to tell us who our candidate will be. You are pushing us and the Republican party to the brink of splintering off a third political party. We know the stakes but we are fed up with you and your phony brand of neo-progressivism.

Karl Rove thought the “Bush Lied and People Died” progressive chant would just go away s

Karl Rove thought the “Bush Lied and People Died” progressive chant would just go away so advised Bush not to fight back. BAD ADVICE! Rove completely misjudged the fierceness of the fight and the damage it would do to Bush. In short, he was totally out of touch with the politics of this country. He allowed, as the chief political advisor to Bush, for his boss to go from 90% approval to some of the lowest approval ratings in history for a president. His political insights drove this country to the brink of total divide and allowed the Democrates to completely take over the government in 2008.

Karl Rove allowed Rumsfeld to be thrown under the bus; Condi to be named as the Secretary of State; and Bush to back off of dealing with Iran directly as Bush had lost credibility after the “Bush Lied” onslaught. Rove should have worked with Rumsfeld and bolstered his image as at one time Rumsfeld was rightly regarded as one of the most cerebral Secretaries of Defense we have ever had. Condi was an excellent at the NSA as an analyst and advisor but not someone who was strong enough to take on the bad guys and bad allies around the world. consequently, she, and Bush by extension, were hammered around the world and Condi is not the type to fight back. After Rove allowed Bush Bashing to go unchallenged for months, Bush cowered down and pushed the Europeans out in front to deal with the Iranian nuclear crisis. This was our first foreign policy attempt at LEADING FROM BEHIND!

Fox continues to push Rove as some sort of political genius when he is merely a biased, Republican insider. Personally I fast forward when he is on Hannity or Greta. He hides behind his idiotic white board that makes him look more like the kid who got beat up in grade school that he probably deserves. Rove is constantly making direct statements or innuendos against Herman Cain or his campaign in a not so camouflaged attempt to bolster Romney and to a lesser extent Perry. Rove was successful in downplaying Bachman’s rise and constantly questioned her staying power playing along with the left-wing media. He dismissed Santorum and to a lesser degree Gingrich in a similar manner.

But Cain is taking the majority of the Rove hits and it is obvious that Rove would like anyone to be the nominee except Cain. I truly do not think this is racially motivated on Rove’s part but his died in the wool insider bias keeps him tied to the Bush Dynasty’s policy of very soft conservatism, if conservative at all. If Cain comes out within 24 hours of the controversy, Rove bashes him for not saying the right things. If Cain was a somewhat confused about the alleged charges, Rove blames his campaign staff for not being prepared after receiving the call from Politico ten days prior. What Rove does not mention is that Politico did not tell the campaign what the charges were, who was making them, and when the events occurred. So it is pretty tough to prepare for a frontal assault when you don’t know anything about the attack itself. Now Rove keeps saying that Cain is changing his story. Of course he is. As they have time to know who the accusers are, what the alleged charges are, and when they supposedly occurred, Cain updates his recollections as the facts dictate. Wow, a politician who gets out in front of an allegation and does not hide behind what the definition of “is is” or pushing his cancer ladened wife in front of cameras to shield him from a “love child” accusation.

Now Rove is predicting a Cain demise in the polls as more ‘FACTS’ come out. What FACTS? You have a nutty, publicity chasing attorney running around, who does not even have a copy of the alleged settlement agreement, making unfounded and UNAUTHORIZED accusations. Then you have a third women who said she thought about filing harassment charges back in the late 90′s against Cain but didn’t. Wow, now that is an open and closed case. Then Rove and other RINOs are calling for Cain to have the Restaurant association violate the terms of the agreement and allow the agreement to become public knowledge. Legally they do not have a right to do it and it would set a dangerous precedent for the organization going forward vis-a-vis any other confidentiality agreements they may have regardless of the reason for the agreement.

This primary season and the 2012 election is shaping up to be a Conservative vs Republican Insider election that could and probably will rip the Republican party apart. Rove and his ilk can’t stand for the status quo, even Obama’s status quo, to be disturbed by those pesky conservatives, especially if they are part of the Tea Party. If the Republican Party rips apart, Obama will certainly win re-election. Rove and his bank of RINOs will blame the Tea Party for their rigidity. Rove, it is not rigidity, it is the principle. Something you do not have.
