Pop & RnB Goddess Janet Jackson has revealed in an interview with the The Times newspaper (UK) that she is planning a European tour in 2010.  It has been over 9 years since Janet has embarked on a european leg, the last time was for “The Velvet Rope” tour in 1998. Her last tour “Rock Witchu” for 2008’s LP “Discipline” was planned to be worldwide but was cancelled due to her coming down with Vertigo, an illness which could be detrimental for a performer who dances around as much as she does.

As mega Janet fan I’m sure you know I’m screaming right now, really and truly this is what Janet needs I think f*ck the US they dont even know good music anymore, all their wrapped up in is whose shaking there coochie in a video. Tut!. 

Funny enough I’m not too surprised shes taking it over here I’ve noticed a lot of US artists are starting to promote overseas more than their home country, and to be honest it’s better, expand your market, improve your fan base and reach out to people who arent lucky enough to visit your shows in the states.

It’s been way too long since Janet’s rocked this side of the pond we all await her return, That’s the way love goes.

On sait ENFIN pourquoi Janet Jackson arrête pas d’annuler des spectacles de sa tournée Rock Witchu. Apparemment elle souffre de migraine vestibulaire ce qui lui donnerait des vertiges, pis le tout serait causé par les moumouttes qu’elle met pendant ses shows (photo à l’appuie). Ses représentants sont présentement en train de négocier des nouvelles date de spectacle pour ceux qui ont été annulés.

Superstar Janet Jackson has been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before a concert says a representative for the singer.

According to a statement released by W&W Public Relations, the singer canceled her concert in Montreal on Monday after she “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time, according to the Associated Press.

The statement says Jackson is being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson’s condition.

Last Friday, Jackson canceled the weekend Detroit stop of her Rock Witchu road show due to “production constraints.”

It’s been a bumpy year for the singer. On Friday, she called off a show in Detroit due to “production constraints,” according to TMZ. She plans to reschedule that stop as well. The tour, which also features LL Cool J, is slated to continue through October 22.

Last week, Jackson announced that she would be parting ways with Island Def Jam Records after just 14 months. The singer’s publicist noted that the label agreed to dissolve the relationship upon Jackson’s request.

“Now, more than 20 years after the release of her iconic album, Control, Janet will have autonomy over her career, without the restrictions of a label system,” Jackson’s publicist said in a statement.

In March, Jackson released Discipline, an album that reflected a return to her Control era in more ways than just the title. But since debuting at #1, the album has sold a disappointing 415,000 units, according to SoundScan. In interviews, Jackson hinted that she was unhappy with the way things were working out with the label.

On ne connait pas encore les causes exactes, mais la rumeur veut qu’elle se soit blessée pendant la répétition. D’autres rumeurs disent que c’est parce qu’elle n’a pas réussi à vendre assez de billets. Elle avait d’ailleurs annulé sa tournée en Europe pour cette raison.

Bon j’suis contente de pas avoir acheté de billet d’abord, parce que j’aurais été vraiment pissed off. Moi j’pense que la vraie raison, c’est qu’y'avait pas assez de billets vendus parce que jeudi passé j’ai reçu un offre pour acheter des billets à 50% de rabais, chose qui arrive très rarement!
