<li>Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe</li>
<li>Aston Martin Vanquish or DBS</li>
<li>Porsche 911 Turbo w/ PDK</li>
</ol>
<p>These cars represent the pinnacle of speed, comfort, automotive engineering, and luxury. Most of the cars on this list have top speeds in excess of 180 mph, and price tags ranging from $85,000 to $2,000,000. I hope, by the time I die, to have driven and/or owned every car on this list.</p>
<p>If anyone out there wants to make a dream come true, let me know!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>No dobrze, blogowanie czas zacząć&#8230; W pierwszym, nieco poważniejszym poscie chciałbym podzielić się z Wami wybranymi refleksjami z ubiegłotygodniowej wizyty na genewskim salonie samochodowym. Jak to zwykle bywa podczas roboczego, prasowego dnia na targach, oglądanie samochodów zwykle schodzi na dalszy plan &#8211; tyle jest przecież innych rzeczy do załatwienia, hostess do sfotografowania, etc. Sami wiecie&#8230; Dlatego tak naprawdę skoncentrowałem się w tym roku tylko na trzech modelach, ale za to z zupełnie przeciwstawnych biegunów &#8211; z jednej strony  znalazł się Bentley Continental Flying Spur i Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe, z drugiej &#8211; Tata Nano, znana szerzej jako najtańszy model samochodu na świecie. Dzisiaj pozostaniemy jednak w sferze luksusu.</p>
<p>Zaznaczam przy tym, iż ani Bentley ani Rolls-Royce nie są tegorocznymi nowościami &#8211; po prostu przykuły tym razem moją uwagę. Najpierw przymierzyłem się do Bentleya. Zamknięcie drzwi dosłownie przenosi w inny świat. Wszystko tu jest imponujące i z absolutnie najwyższej półki &#8211; deskę rozdzielczą można by wystawić w galerii sztuki, skórą z siedzeń obić sofę w apartamencie prezydenckim w Burdż al-Arab w Dubaju, a kierownicę chciałbym nosić przy sobie jako wisiorek na szyji, aby móc ją trzymać w momentach, kiedy świat wokół wydaje się zły&#8230; Swoją drogę ciekawe, ile ona kosztuje? Cały Flying Spur to wydatek circa 220 tys. euro.</p>

<p>Ze stoiska Bentleya skierowałem swoje kroki w kierunku Rolls-Royce&#8217;a. Tam, nie bacząc na nerwowe gesty pięknej blondynki (jak się później okazało przesympatycznej i megakompetentnej), zająłem miejsce za kierownicą Phantoma Coupe, w cenie ponad 440 tys. euro. Jak logika podpowiada, powinno być zatem dwa razy bardziej:  luksusowo, elegancko, niesamowicie, wręcz zabójczo&#8230; Tymczasem było&#8230; dziwnie. Przepych &#8211; owszem, wyciekał z każdej ręcznie wymierzonej szczeliny, jednak nie było to w stanie zrekompensować poczucia irracjonalności sytuacji. Ten samochód jest po prostu zrobiony w innej skali niż wszystkie inne. Kilometry kwadratowe blachy rozciągające się przed przednią szybą, tony drewna wokół i dywaniki z owczej wełny z włosami sięgającymi kierowcy po szyję&#8230; Nie uwierzycie, ale żeby zamknąć drzwi w tym aucie, trzeba nacisnąć przycisk na desce rozdzielczej; jeśli spróbujecie zrobić to własnymi siłami, na Waszej polówce Ralpha Laurena pojawią się nieestetyczne plamy potu&#8230; Jeżeli możni tego świata budują korporacje, snują intrygi i manipulują kursem złotówki, aby stać  ich było na takie samochody &#8211; nie rozumiem tego świata. O ile jestem w stanie pojąć, że ktoś ma ochotę zamknąć się w luksusowym bunkrze (czyt. Phantomie) i pomknąć nim autostradą, o tyle chęci zajęcia miejsca za jego kierownicą (bo taka jest przecież idea Phantoma Coupe) już nie jestem w stanie objąć swoim rozumem. Sory.</p>

<p>Bentley Continenal Flying Spur po wizycie w Genewie urósł do rangi samochodu moich marzeń. Chciałbym jeździć tym autem na co dzień, za kierownicą, nawet po ulicach Katowic czy Warszawy. Robiłbym to z uśmiechem na twarzy. A dwa razy droższy Rolls? Widziałem go ostatnio na drodze w Paryżu. Nawet na Champs-Elysees wydawał się nie na miejscu, wciąż był w innej skali&#8230;</p>
<p>W kolejnym podejściu do tematu salonu genewskiego zastanowimy się nad sensem istnienia Taty Nano. Serdecznie zapraszam!</p>

One reason to write another car blog is that I just need to get my mind off of all of the craziness and pressures of our world and our country right now. One of the ways I wind down and relax is to think about another passion in my life beside God, wife, family and church. The other passion in my life are automobiles. I love many different types of automobiles. In fact a good designed, incredible looking car is like a fine piece of art too me. Rolls Royce is one of the finest car companies in the world and in my estimation they don&#8217;t just create cars, but they create works of art. I know, not everyone will agree with me but I love the way a Rolls Royce looks. The lines, the proportions and craftsmanship are exceptional. I love many different cars but Rolls Royces are some of my favorites. Since I&#8217;m a pastor, probably the closest I will ever get to a Rolls Royce is to look at photos and that&#8217;s ok. So join with me as I admire a few of my faves in the world of automobiles, the Roll Royce Phantom, Phantom Drophead Coupe and Phantom Coupe.</p>

<p style="text-align:center;">Rolls-Royce decided to unveil their new Phantom Coupe to a small select mix of media and customers at their showroom on Wednesday evening. Entering the showroom, the Coupe under a veil of red sat in the middle with the wall in the background covered with small LED&#8217;s, mimicking the starlight headlining in the actual car.</p>

<p>The Coupe is powered with the same 6.75 litre V12 we are all so familiar with in the Phantom and the Drophead Coupe as well. But in usual Rolls-Royce composure, all of the 453 horses are delivered to the wheels as controlled and unhurried as a Windsor grey horse pulling the queens carriage. The Drophead and the Phantom made an obligatory appearance aswell, borrowing space from the Porsche showroom next to RR&#8217;s.</p>
<p>The Coupe comes almost a year after the Drophead cruised to our shores, and sales for it has been pretty good here considering the cost of it. So far just below 10 of these luxury land yatchs have been delivered to their owners since their introduction. Even though both the drophead and coupe share almost similar everything, they both appeal to a different segment of people. So different in fact that since it&#8217;s introduction, 70% of RR&#8217;s new customers are new. </p>
<p>The younger, affluent segment of the market seem to relate to the image conveyed in the marquee&#8217;s newer creations. Even I found myself wanting one. Walking around the car admiring every curve on the body, the plush leather seats that gives you that right balance of snug but without being too comfortable. A beautiful car in almost every aspect you could think off but I&#8217;m just wondering how this would compare to the Bentley Brooklands. Till I do manage to get my hands on it, enjoy the pictures.</p>

But it was rather comical to have these 2 very different cars bumper to bumper.<br />
The former is a 1.4 litre economy car and the latter is a 6.75 litre luxury car with an automatically retractable Spirit of Ecstacy, (which is the little fairy on top of the radiator grille) optic fibre threads on the interior roof mimicking a starry night and auto closing doors that according to <a href="http://rolls-roycemotorcars.com/hi-band/swf/index.html">this commercial</a>, should make any female passenger <span style="text-decoration:line-through;">come on the spot</span> turn into jelly.</p>

<p>Ce poti sa mai scrii cand apar astfel  de sculpturi pe roti? Nimic. Le contemplezi in cele câteva poze si speri. Asta dacă esti un romantic incurabil. Pentru mine, farmecul Rolls Royce si Bentley a fost făcut ţăndări de Irinel si Monica. Spirit of Ecstasy a fost desacralizata de machedonul Becali.</p>
<p>Iata poze cu automobilul care, in mod sigur, va fi călcat in picioare de otrepe cu pantofi de lac plini de noroi :</p>

<p>Phontom Coupe-ul abunda de elemente luxuriante, de bun gust, atât la interior cat si la exterior. Pasagerii nu vor atinge in acest Rolls nimic făcut din plastic, singurele materiale cu care aceştia vor avea tangente sunt pielea, lemnul si cromul. Si sa nu uitam modul spectaculos de deschidere al portierelor&#8230;</p>
