Tsukune Aono is a normal high school freshman who is unable to get into any private school, due to his dismal grades. The only school he is finally accepted into turns out to be a secret school for supernatural monsters and mythical creatures (yōkai), who are disguised as humans. He quickly becomes friends with the beautiful Moka Akashiya, who turns out to be a vampire attracted to the sweet taste of his blood (and Tsukune’s only, it turns out). While at first Moka was upset upon discovering that Tsukune was actually a human, she realizes that he’s the first real friend she had ever made. Tsukune quickly realizes his admission into a monster school must have been a mistake and fears for his life.

Despite Moka’s vampiric nature, she is a kind girl and Tsukune quickly falls for her. Moka also quickly falls in love with Tsukune after they meet. He decides to stay and be near her, despite the various dangers. He must hide his human identity from the faculty and other students, while trying to keep his grades up and avoiding conflicts with the various not-so-mythological monsters lurking around campus. Tsukune soon discovers that when he removes the “rosario” around Moka’s neck, she transforms into a super-vampire, stronger and more powerful than almost any other creature at the school. However, in this state, she has an entirely different, often cold and merciless personality, so the rosario is only removed in dire emergencies. Tsukune is the only person who can physically remove it to transform Moka, and only in the case of an emergency (the rosario remains physically bound to Moka, while Tsukune attempts to willfully remove it in a moment immediately preceding, and sometimes interjecting – a malignant situation).

As the school year continues, Tsukune becomes involved with other students who start out as enemies but who are won over into becoming his friends: Kurumu Kurono, a succubus who originally fixated on Tsukune as both a means of propagating her species and a weapon against Moka (whom she originally hated for attracting all the male students away from her); Yukari Sendo, an eleven-year-old witch who is the smartest student at the academy (but prejudiced against by the other students since witches are not truly considered monsters, but somewhere between monsters and humans) who developed a major crush on Moka, and a softer crush on Tsukune after they defended her against a pack of bullies. Ginei Morioka, a second-year student who is not only the President of the school Newspaper Club but also a werewolf and a pervert who can’t understand why Moka is attracted to Tsukune and not to him; and Mizore Shirayuki, a yuki-onna who began by stalking Tsukune believing them to be soulmates. However, after Tsukune befriends each of the girls, they become friendly rivals along with Moka for Tsukune’s affections and members of the school Newspaper Club with Tsukune and stand by him even after they learn that he is really a human. Introduced in the second manga serialization, Kokoa Shuzen is the younger half-sister of Moka Akashiya. Bearing a similar appearance to Moka, except for her orange hair and cyan eyes, she arrives as a first-year student to Yōkai Academy. Like her sister, Kokoa is also a vampire, but her powers are not sealed and does not carry the same supernatural strength Moka possesses. To compensate, she has a pet bat, Kou, that can transform into a variety of weapons. She has a deep hatred for Outer Moka and an obssession with Inner Moka. In the manga she finally accepts the fact that her “real” sister is sealed, though in the anime she is more persistent. As time goes on, they discover dangerous organizations like Antithesis and Fairy Tale and must do battle against them to keep the school and even both the monster and human worlds safe, and Tsukune starts to undergo changes that truly solidify his role as the link between the human and monster worlds.

En la edición anterior ganó el 2D, a pesar de que, en mi opinión al menos, el cosplay estaba buenisimo… pero para eso estan las encuestas, para conocer *Don Francisco mode on* queee dice el publicooo (?)

So, aqui vamos con la revancha del 3D, esta vez en forma de un cosplay que roza en la perfección (aunque probablemente sea gracias al Photoshop, pero que importa, en la ignorancia esta la felicidad) del personaje mas awesome de Rosario + Vampire: Shirayuki Mizore.

Now, to be honest, it never crossed my mind that these two would make a great looking couple. I haven’t watched the second season and there might be some subtext there that enticed the artist to draw the two in a romantic way.

C76 (Comiket 76) also has figurine items lined up in their stalls aside from the landslide amounts of doujinshi and cosplays. Here are some of the items that was made available to the public’s eyes and wallets.

Before that let’s have some Oshiri figure goodness featuring one of Tony Taka’s characters.

Next up are the two FIGMAs that really caught my attention in this event. FIGMA Vita of Nanoha series which will be available coming this November at the retail price of 3,200 JPY (Gotta love that huge hammer of hers.)

The other one is Mana of Se.Kirara which is sadly her release date and retail price is still unknown. The sculpt done unto her hair is really amazing. Would definitely get my hands on this one.

and here are some more FIGMA goodness along with Mana, Nanoha and Fate Movie version. Enthusiasts expect them to be available once the movie goes out.

Moving along, we have some Akashiya Moka & Cocoa figures from the series Rosario + Vampire. Bakemonogatari Nendos are on the works. Will aim for the Senjougahara Hitagi Nendoroid in that release line.

Lastly are the Stuffies that GoodSmile has sold to the attendees of the event. Some even sold out during the event.

This guy however seems to have managed to nabbed a huge shrine maiden, Hakurei Reimu (Touhou).

Some of the figures that were exhibited during the event are the ones that you saw in the Tokyo Figure Show and WonFest such as Canaan, Vocaloid and Shiki Nendoroids, FIGMA Shirou and Saber in casual clothes etc. C76 coverage is still not over here at Reflectia RX. I’ll be bringing the doujinshi Coverage once the event is complete.

Well last Friday I got an order I’d placed with Hobby Link Japan for my Kagamiku from Lucky Star Nendoroid and also my 1/8 Akashiya Moka.

Kagamiku was the first one to be opened. As she looked around the table she was standing on she saw another box. She decided that she just had to tell everyone what she thought about it.

“Kagamiku here! Today I’m here to tell you all about [reads] Akashiya Moka… And she’s from… What’s she from master?”

“And she is from and anime called Rosario Vampire!! Also she’s the ‘Awakened Version’ Whatever that means~”

“Well, let’s begin!!”

“And now that Master has ever so graciously taken her out of the box for me~ Let me tell you what I think about Moka here~” Kagamiku paused at this “She’s really pretty~ And um… Pretty <3~ And… um…”

Kagamiku, at a loss for words, looked over at me and said “Your site says that you’re the reviewer…”

“So review.”

Pros:

Absolutely gorgeous sculpt
The dress is simply amazing and is what sold me when I saw the prototype pictures.
The base is really nice and detailed

Cons:

Her hair has a large seam line towards the middle of it.
The dresses red paint bleeds onto the white parts

The dresses fault isn’t too noticeable unless you’re looking carefully, the hair however is quite noticeable.

Kagami ~ Mikku Miku Cosplay ~ Nendoroid
No scale – Good Smile Company

Pros:

First nendoroid I’ve gotten without any glaringly noticeable problems
She’s absolutely adorable
Her moe-faces

Cons:

None really stand out to me. Her shoe has a slight seamline but it doesn’t deter from her adorable-ness in the least.

I apologize for the blurry nature of the pictures, I wish I had better control over my camera’s focus. Either way~ have a good day everyone

So my Moka finally arrived today last Friday. Honestly, she was on the chopping block for my preorders, but I’m actually very glad that I decided to follow through with the purchase. This purchase was made on e2046. Their prices are reasonable, I never get charged duty, and they are slightly faster than HLJ.

I can’t say that their packaging is the best though. It’s not as “specialized” as HLJ.

They’re also not as environmentally friendly. That bubble-wrap is literally wrapped around and around and around the figure. HLJ likes to pack theirs in a shrink-wrapped seal around a large piece of cardboard, plus air-filled pillows.

I have several rolls of these bubble-wraps now. It’s great free packing material that I use for when I ship stuff out to other people though, so it’s not a waste. I hope other collectors are doing the same to save the environment.

And there she is, in her original packaging. e2046 does sell PVC figures too, and they’re all authentic.

Another figure photoshoot to add to my already increasing backlog. No worries though. I’ve been noticing that blogs have started to literally disappear recently because the authors lack the funds to buy more figures. I’ve sustained heavy damage myself, but the figures will still keep rolling in at a steady and slow pace. As I sell some of my older figures, it will make more room, and provide more funds for newer figures. The backlog of figure photoshoots will make their way to this blog eventually, so no worries about me running out of content either.

Argumento

La historia comienza con Aono Tsukune, un chico de 15 años que asiste a la secundaria. Tsukune no obtuvo buenas calificaciones y se había resignado a repetir el año escolar. Al llegar a casa su mamá le entrega un extraño sobre. Según su padre, el sobre fue dejado por un misterioso sacerdote quien, casualmente, lo dejó caer mientras éste caminaba por la calle. De este modo Tsukune es inscrito para estudiar durante el verano en la Academia Youkai, un establecimiento distante para el cual, al parecer, sólo existe un bus escolar. De camino a la Academia el conductor del bus advierte a Tsukune que Youkai no es un lugar común. Que siga el festival

Hace un año traíamos la versión normal, la que salió en la tele. Un año después cae la versión DVD con sorpresitas, menú cachondón compatible con la versión avi y libre de censura (que había aunque poca) Se ha revisado toda la serie y se han corregido fallos, que había bastantes la verdad, y esperamos que os guste esta nueva versión
