Sinopsis: Martin es un joven irlandés que malvive trapicheando con mercancía robada. Su habilidad para moverse por los barrios en los que opera el IRA no pasa desapercibida para Fergus, un agente de la inteligencia británica que decide reclutarlo. Muy a su pesar y con la única intención de salvar vidas, Martin acepta la misión infiltrándose en la banda terrorista y pasando información sobre sus golpes a Fergus. Mientras su amistad con el agente se hace cada vez más cercana, Martin ascenderá dentro del IRA aumentando cada vez más el riesgo de ser descubierto por sus propios amigos.

Crítica: 50 Hombres Muertos es una truculenta historia ambientada en la ya de por sí sórdida guerra de Irlanda del Norte, una aún más sucia que las demás en la que ningún bando escatimó en crueldad para hacerse con una victoria que, como la historia ha demostrado, residía en el entendimiento y el diálogo y no en la represión o la bala en la nuca. Skogland, con un estilo dinámico y acertado visualmente, retrata la sociedad norirlandesa de la época a través de los ojos de Martin, interpretado por un notable Jim Sturgess. Martin, como dictan los cánones del género, es un infiltrado asqueado de sus correligionarios, de sus nuevos amos y de sí mismo. Tal vez este aspecto sea el menos interesante del conjunto, ya que aunque basada en las experiencias propias del protagonista, no escapa a algunos tópicos del subgénero ni logra la intensidad e impacto de algunas otras obras que han tratado el conflicto. El aspecto más comercial de la cinta, historia romántica de por medio, choca de lleno con otros episodios turbios que logran revolver tripas y conciencia hasta que, justo antes de llegar al límite, se lleva al espectador a terrenos más calmados. Siempre en la cuerda floja, Martin deja su vida en las manos de Fergus, un inquietante y manipulador Ben Kingsley por fin alejado de sus demasiado habituales “trabajos alimenticios”, que termina en parte por zamparse sin esfuerzo la película. La relación entre ambos, infiltrado y agente, estrecha pero peligrosa y marcada por sus propias lealtades, lleva continuamente la trama al límite, aunque una vez más sin revasarlo. Skogland, demasiado ambigua pero amparada en los hechos reales en los que se basa el guión, no escatima en mostrar la parte más negra, aterradora y sangrienta del conflicto, aderezándola eso sí con algunos tics propios del cine más comercial que restan legitimidad y autenticidad al conjunto pero sin dañarlo de forma insalvable ni hacerlo perder dignidad ni interés.

There’s no one online to talk to and I’m really bored so I thought I’d do this…

I decided to cast the characters of the House Of Night books. My only problem is that I can’t find anyone good enough to play Zoey, think if they ever did make a TV show/film it would have to be an unknown. I also didn’t find a Grandma Redbird because I don’t know any old Cherokee women…

Anyway, here it goes:

James Stark – Hunter Parrish from Weeds. He has short hair now that he’s older but I think he’d be a better Stark with longer hair. (I’m not completely satisfied with this choice to be honest)

Heath Luck – Steven R. McQueen from Vampire Diaries. If I think of someone else to play Stark then I think Hunter Parris would be good as Heath too. Steven R. McQueen does seem like a good fit though, his character on Vampire Diaries is similar too (not the reason I picked him though) but I think maybe he’d be better if he lightened his hair…

Erik Night - Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl. Maybe a bit old compared to the rest of them but I just couldn’t think of anyone with his kind of looks who is younger and doesn’t look too boyish and cutsie.

Damien Maslin – Nicholas D’Agosto from Heroes. Good looking but with the cutsie edge that means he could pull off being gay but not really camp.

Jack Twist - Jeremy Sumpter from Peter Pan. Sweet and innocent looking, could pull off the whole weak, girly campness – but maybe a little bit young to be paired with Nicholas D’Agosto?

 
Stevie Rae Johnson – Hayden Panettiere from Heroes. She has the southern belle thing down to a T and just oozes with ‘friendly and innocent’ which matches the first few books but she can pull off the bitchyness for later on in the plot lines. I also considered her as Aphrodite…

Erin Bates – Taylor Swift from…erm..music. There are a lot of pretty blondes in this series and I guess I was kind of running out of ideas when I stumbled upon her. I think she could be quite good as Erin, the whole fashion centred thing would suit her well.

Shaunee Cole – Dana Davis from Heroes (I didn’t even notice this theme until I was typing it up). She can play a right bitch when she wants to but she really pulls off the loyal friend thing.

Aphrodite LaFont – Kaley Cuoco from 8 Simple Rules/Charmed/Big Bang Theory. Just trust me when I say she’d be the perfect Aphrodite!

Loren Blake – Matt Dallas from Kyle XY. He looks pretty much exactly how I imagined Blake to look (don’t really know why). I think his age is about right compared to the rest of them too (maybe not Chace…)

 Professor Dragon Lankford – Ewan McGregor from lots of things. He has the small friendly look to him but would do great in a sword/foil/lightsabre fight and can pull off being dangerous just like Dragon.

Professor Lenobia – Jennifer Garner from lots of things. She looks calm and intellectual but with that kind of other side to her that you don’t want to mess with.

Neferet - Rose McGowan from Charmed. Come on, you know she’d make the perfect Neferet! She’s beautiful, elegant and everyone could easily fall in love with her… but everyone knows she has a twisted side to her.

Kalona – Taylor Lautner from Twilight. No, this wasn’t just an excuse to include him (mainly). I realise that he’s a lot younger than Rose McGowan but he’s only supposed to appear about 19 to Zoey….and perfectly godlike. Agreed?

I think with a cast list like this I know the perfect person to play Zoey… Me! What do you think? (After having Taylor as Kalona I may have to change my opinion on who I want Zoey to end up with…you think I could have Taylor as Stark? I need a hotter Stark!

‘Tis the season! With the end of the decade and Halloween approaching, now’s the best time to torture your soul with the best horror this decade has to offer. Now, please, forgive me. The horror genre, like everything else, is getting blurrier. It’s hard to tell just what exactly is a horror film these days. I attempted to honor the genre, while keeping a clear opinion of what the best are. Enjoy!

10. 30 Days of Night

It was either this or Zombieland. A) You already know and love Zombieland. B) This is a comic site! I have to mention the adaptations when I can. 30 Days of Night could’ve easily been mediocre. An essential part of the book’s success was Templesmith’s art. Having said that, this movie looks pretty damn good. Snow always feels epic. 30 Days of Night is well-acted and well-made. It manages to naturally stretch Niles’ novel, making it, in some ways, better. To those of you who vomit at the sight of sparkly, beautiful teenage vampires, watch 30 Days of Night. These are just about the ugliest vampires ever filmed, and that’s a good thing.

9. Land of the Dead

I would’ve loved to re-watch this one, but I figure I have to get this out before Halloween. Romero’s return wasn’t as earth-shattering as we may have liked, but there’s plenty of merit here. For one thing, Land of the Dead looks great and features actors who can actually act. For another, Romero still manages to scare us with creatures who aren’t all that scary, providing uniquely gory deaths for his decent actors. And what would a Romero Dead flick be without some social commentary? With “Fiddler’s Green,” he managed to capture both the atmosphere of rich nations, who live in luxury while many still live in hell-holes, and of a post-post 9/11 world. While we sit comfortably, discussing American Idol, the evil is still lurking, and, perhaps, evolving.

8. The Mist

Ok, it’s kind of a zombie movie with bugs, but that’s different, right? In fact, thanks to the titular mist, the creatures can be grand and epic, without looking too cheesy. We’ve got some great actors here: Thomas Jane, Marcia Gay Harden, Toby Jones. They help elevate the material. Frank Darabont, the director of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, completes his King trilogy, and it’s a lot of gruesome fun. This being a comic site, I have to mention Darabont’s Walking Dead TV involvement. If you want to see if he’s right for that adaptation, this movie will give you a clue.

7. 28 Days Later

Again, I would’ve loved to re-watch this. I even rented it, and I will watch it, but I’m a slave to this post. Danny Boyle was a good director before Slumdog Millionaire. I swear he was, and this film is part of the proof. I mentioned in my introduction how the horror genre has gotten blurry. Indeed, this film helped start that, with many rabid fans crying, “These aren’t zombies!” Well, whatever they are, they’re scary as hell. 28 Days Later has many impressive, grim shots of a destroyed London. It has great performances from the then-newcomer Cillian Murphy and the always-fantastic Brendan Gleeson. This may have helped splinter the zombie genre, but at least it’s pretty damn good.

6. Shaun of the Dead

This movie hammered home what George Romero has known since the 70’s: zombies are hilarious! They’re such boring monsters. In this film, we can barely tell them apart from the boring humans, maybe that’s just because they’re British. Shaun of the Dead is hilarious, but it also manages to touch upon the important elements of zombie movies, such as banding together, social commentary, and that wonderful gore.

5. Drag Me to Hell

I don’t want to oversell this, but Drag Me to Hell is arguably Raimi’s best film. We’re back to Evil Dead 2, with the perfect mixture of terror and comedy. Christine isn’t as lovable as Ash. She’s not really meant to be. However, Alison Lohman is a perfect horror heroine. She has the innocent looks and a wonderful scream. Amongst the laughs and gasps, this movie teaches us some very valuable lessons. Never deny an old gypsy! And never dig up a body in the worst storm of the decade!

4. Grindhouse

Yeah, it’s one film, damn it. Funny thing about this being on a “best” list, it’s trying so hard to be bad. That said, this is probably the most enjoyable pick on my list. Ok, so Deathproof isn’t much of a horror film, even though hot girls are getting hunted and slaughtered by a badass Kurt Russell, but Planet Terror is horror all the way, in the vein of a Carpenter flick. You’ve got the babes. You’ve got the gore. You’ve even got the great actors, like Bruce Willis! And if you’re not at least a little scared of testicle harvesting, I don’t know what to tell ya.

3. American Psycho

Finally, a slasher movie where the murders don’t matter, even within the context of the film! Bateman’s murders are an expression of his boredom and vanity. Mary Harron took this material and made it an exploration of male insanity, rather than just Bateman’s. You’ve all seen these guys. They’re on Wall Street. They’re trying to sell you something. They might even be firing you. American Psycho documents masculine squabbles in deliciously, horrific detail. Perhaps, most chilling of all, the film asks, “What if these assholes really are killing, and, with wealth & power, their mess is wiped clean?”

2. Antichrist

I was mugged by God. That was my initial reaction to this film. True of almost every great film, on the first viewing, we’re not really sure what we’ve seen. This movie’s depth is so endless, it threatens to swallow you whole, taunting you to disregard it as Eurotrash. What I am sure of is the bravery of Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsburg, who follow Trier’s insanity to the end. Trier is a madman, as most great directors are, and his images, no matter how shattering to our senses, are fully realized here.

1. Sweeney Todd

The bloodiest musical, Burton’s possible best, and indeed, the greatest horror film of the decade. Burton stays faithful to the original tale, as well as Sondheim’s music. Depp and Carter are dressed like 30’s horror stars, paying homage to both the genre and the original film. I never felt Sondheim’s music should be gloriously sung, no matter how talented Angela Lansbury is. These songs are sad and personal, and though Burton’s cast aren’t singers, they are actors, and they deliver their tunes in the best possible way. You won’t find any prancing or choreography here. Sweeney Todd is a dark, terrifying tragedy that will slash its way into your nightmares as efficiently as Mr. Todd’s razors.

ROSE McGowan  &  MARIYLN Manson

Yes, I am well aware of the fact that they broke up ages ago. But it doesn’t change the fact that they looked odd together, more like The Beauty and The Beast. Don’t get me wrong. I respect Manson to a certain extent. His image may not be my cup of tea but at least he is honest. Have you seen Michael Moore’s Bowling for Colombine? There, Manson says that he is doing whatever he does to attract attention. How many celebrities do that? But his honesty aside, there is a strong ick factor. No, it is not (just) the make-up! I actually heard that he had a surgical operation to have some bones removed so that he could give himself a blow-job! YUCKS!!! I really hope that’s some bogus news generated by his publicist. Otherwise it is just too much.

It is interesting that his girlfriends are beautiful actresses. I know rockers are known to pick up hot chicks but Manson isn’t your idea of a hot rocker, is he? We are moving on another Manson coupling:

I know musicians tended to look pretty funny through out the history- just look at the fashion in every decade. And I have to admit, it is not like I never liked a band with make-up. I still like Kiss. I own Twisted Sister albums. Hell, I saw Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora with lipstick back in the day! Still, does this look like a match made in heaven?

Há poucos minutos comentei que “nunca é tarde para assistir Os Sete Samurais”, mas na hora não percebi o quanto foi literal: passou ontem na sessão The Essentials do TCM que começa às 22h, um horário bem razoável. O problema é que a versão integral do filme dura quase três horas e meia, mais os comentários no início e no fim da sessão.

Segundo o Robert Osborne, a versão para o exterior durava apenas duas horas e pouquinho. Mas foi um comentário da Rose McGowan no fim da sessão que me irritou [quase] a ponto de me tirar o sono: primeiro, ela disse que preferia “Sete Homens e Um Destino” porque [1] ela viu antes, [2] se passa no Velho Oeste e [3] é “mais ágil”.

McGowan disse que ela cortaria diversas sequências do filme de Kurosawa e que diretor que reclama das edições dos estúdios faz é mimimi porque acha que os filmes são como filhos; disse ainda que filmes longos, de mais de uma hora e meia, são pouco rentáveis porque as salas exibem menos sessões, além de “menos ágeis”. É, de novo.

Eu só digo que senquisgóde essa moça é apenas atriz.

Mas não, não perdi o sono po causa dela. Uma porque depois de desligar a tv, ir ao banheiro, checar e-mails e fazer festa na Tutu já passava das 2h20, e outra porque, né? Tem coisa pior.

Agora tou à procura do DVD duplo que tem a versão integral mais entrevista do diretor de quase duas horas mais making of de 50 minutos.

I have to send a “thank you” to Wes Craven for the movie Scream. I’ve seen my share of horror movies (surprising because sharing is communal and that makes you weak).  Besides that I’ve driven through enough slasher flicks to make me excellent at picking up chicks that are confused – whether their clothes should keep them warm or carpet a hardwood floor – and into edge-play.

At this moment Rose McGowan’s breast are telling me “turkey’s done” and that also deserves a stamped “thank you” letter to Mr. Craven and garage-doors.  Sidenote:  ”I Spit On Your Garage” is much better title than its former.

Before I get too sidetracked, Scream was the reinvention of the slasher film during the 90’s; that’s my point.  The problem is that many hardcore fans of horror – at the time – weren’t ready for this justified, yet blatant confession of secrets… for a lack of better words.  Scream was everything that horror fans discussed, mocked, laughed at, and still defended, but were simply pissed because someone made money off of it before they could; “I’ll be right back.”

As history repeats itself and we all follow in the footsteps of the people that we both loved and hated, we critique everyone and everything.  We eat, drink, shit, shower, sleep, and shave (yes even you); don’t deny it.  Slasher movies run us through the gauntlet of emotions and visuals that can both intrigue and repulse.  Just because you own a two-piece suit or lie very well during your book club, we can’t deny the fact that we’re animals that have become comfortable on the top of the food-chain.  A little bit of tits, gore, and a strong disposition keep us entertained whether we like it or not.

Drew Barrymore is disposed of in rapid-fire succession within the opening of the film.  That broad was one of the selling-points of this movie as its one-sheet spotted theaters around the globe in ‘96.  If Wes Craven had a direct hand in this casting process, well, his next “thank you” letter better be packed with a handjob.  A face like Barrymores (ET) is so recognizable within our generation (if you’re reading this and were born before ‘80 I want to apologize for your lumpy oatmeal) that watching her brutally murdered in the opening act spins shit around; that familiar face won’t comfort you in the slightest now.  When Entertainment Tonight was /film that point in the plot held enough water to rehydrate one of my decent hangovers; not the case since I’ve “grown up”.

I  dunno if it’s alright to dislike or even hate this movie still, but the red wine and unsalted peanuts surging through my veins (I’m more healthy than a healthman) obviously tell the better tale.  Why Neve Campbell’s frumpy self was allowed to be seen as a love-interest still baffles me to this day.  And like normal, there was a lack of werewolves and jetpacks in the film.  I’m also going to start considering how much of Jenny Agutter is in a movie and then deciding its ranking within the history of cinema based on that notion.

Damn… that’s one foxy lady.

Rose McGowan fifty years from now? No, that was last night. Sort your face out lady…your plastic surgery is melting.

Come on, you know I’m right!  Joan Collins would be rocking this dress in an episode of Dynasty!

One of the challenges of the production cycle for original cable programming is how to pull viewers back into the world of the show after a long layoff. With seven months since the last episode aired, nip/tuck opted to use an extended voiceover by Linda Hunt (Kindergarten Cop, NCIS: Los Angeles) to fill in any gaps. The benefit of this technique was the ability to get directly to the action instead of getting bogged down with a bunch of boring exposition. Not to mention that Hunt’s distinctive voice is perfect for the attitude that comes with this show.

With the economy in the shitter, McNamara/Troy is suffering big time. Sean and Christian have been reduced to reading the paper in the breakroom and snacking on generic yogurt to cut costs. All this free time has allowed both docs to focus on their personal problems instead. Christian waited until after the honeymoon to tell Liz he wasn’t dying and wanted a divorce. What he didn’t account for was Liz choosing to retain a high-powered (and perverse) attorney (Barry Bostwick) to get her half of his money. Sean is spending all of his time freaking out about the downturn in business and girlfriend Teddy’s* expensive tastes, so much so that he has a serious case of insomnia.

*Note: Teddy was played by Katee Sackhoff last season, but has been replaced by Rose McGowan

After Christian’s yacht is seized for missed payments, the boys encounter their old pal Dr. Mike Hamoui (Mario Lopez) who is disgustingly successful despite the economy. He takes them for a ride on his much larger yacht and explains that he now works as a “pod surgeon”, exchange 10% of his revenue for use of other people’s surgery suites. McNamara/Troy makes a quick deal with Dr. Mike to boost their struggling cash flow, and only later find out that he specializes in vaginal rejuvenation. Apparently loose vaginas are a problem in any economy.

Upon seeing Mike’s success, the guys decide to air a late night infomercial to ramp up their own “tightening” service. Their a bit disappointed when the titular patient arrives and requests a surgery to give him a six-pack, inspired by how flabby Sean and Christian looked compared to Dr. Mike on the commercial. As usual, the guys respond in very different ways. Christian nearly agrees to rub one out in front of Liz’s attorney to make a settlement deal, and Sean agrees to Teddy’s marriage proposal, only to swallow a handful of pills in an apparent suicide attempt to close the episode.

In a strange backup storyline, Matt chooses a career as a mime, only to end up holding up a donut shop with his toy gun. Matt’s been the writer’s punching bag ever since his botched self-circumcision in the first season, so it’s no surprise that his latest endeavor is already a massive failure.

I’m disappointed in the network’s decision not to air the final run of episodes all together, but I have no doubt that Ryan Murphy has made nip/tuck’s final season an exciting ride.

This doesn’t even mention that Rose McGowan starred in Jawbreaker with Rebecca Gayheart (who played Dylan’s wife on 90210). There are at least 2 more ways I can connect Angelina to our favorite dramas. I work at Blockbuster part-time and have an overwhelmingly silly amount of knowledge regarding actor’s careers. I just thought this would be like a fun weekly quiz.

My class went on this school trip to learn about the marketing and safety on this mall, *cough* abroad in the neighbour country..  And it was a boring lecture, but after that we were free to go around and do whatever we’d like to, so yay for that!

First off I had to go to Game Stop and buy F.E.A.R. 2, because a friend told me to get it and do recordings of it.  Obviously it’s a scary game, where you are going to shoot something, I don’t know what. But something really nasty. I hope that it’s not too scary, and in case it is, then I will sit under a blanket while playing… just for safety reasons.

I can’t wait to play… but not only that. I bought it for xbox 360… which I don’t have… BUT my brother and I made a deal where I could use his xbox 360 when he was abroad in return that he could play it too. Soo bai bai, go off and let me be alone with your xbox!!!

Other than that… uhh I bought a Bullet for my Valentine poster, *cough* loads of candy and juice *cough* …. trying to get fat -___-’

Cherry darling ^^ I sooo love her! And yes.. mwahha I got her leg xD And that machine gun O.O   Anyway, seeing her makes me want to watch the movie again, so … I think I’m gonna do that! A good idea.

Which is the woman in blue… I think she and another woman had something going on earlier in their lives, in the movie, and then they were still talking and planning on go away together. And then her husband  really  made me go “ARRRGH!!” I didn’t like him -.- He STABBED his wife with shots in her hands when he found out that they still had contact with eachother. Even though it was kinda hilarious xD ..Uh.. I mean.. bad Doctor.

Courtney Shane en Nip Tuck

Ésta foto es el primer vistazo de Rose Mcgowan como actriz invitada en la próxima temporada de Nip Tuck, en la que será la última temporada de la serie. Rose interpretará a la doctora Theodora “Teddy” Lowe, un nuevo interés romántico para Sean Mcnamara en el episodio que saldrá al aire el 28 de octubre en EU. No pudieron invitar a una mejor actriz en esa serie porque Rose debe saber mucho sobre citrujías plásticas.

Comme j’adore le mois d’Octobre, l’Halloween et les films d’horreur, j’ai décidé de faire le premier Horreur-o-thon des Bipolaires! En effet, j’écouterai un film de peur par jour jusqu’au 31, alors revenez lire mes critiques quotidiennes…si vous en avez le courage! MOUAHAHAHAAA!

Oui, je suis dans ma phase “films de Wes Craven qui se moquent du genre”.  Dans ce classique moderne de 1996 ayant ressucité le “slasher movie”, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) se fait traquer par un psychopathe masqué un an après le meurtre de sa mère.  Est-ce qu’il pourrait s’agir du même meurtrier?  La réponse se révèle à travers une foule de clins d’oeils aux films d’horreur populaires.

Il est facile de discréditer Scream et de le voir comme un film d’horreur dilué par l’humour et les relations entres les adolescents.  Par contre, après ce visionnement, j’ai réalisé qu’il s’agit d’un film extrêmement violent et déstabilisant de par ses thèmes abordés.  En effet, la mère de Sid s’est fait assassiner un an auparavant et la jeune fille tente malgré tout de se remettre de cet événement tragique, seulement pour devenir la victime du même tueur.  De plus, lorsque son identité est enfin révélée, les sentiments du spectateur sont encore plus sollicités.  C’est assez downer, non?  De plus, les scènes de meurtres sont dures à regarder autant à cause de l’attachement aux personnages et de la réussite avec lesquelles elles ont été réalisées.

Par contre, l’humour est aussi présent en grande quantité, ce qui a permis au film de remettre le genre sur ses pieds.  Entre autres, les personnages établissent une liste de règles pour survivre aux films d’horreur (sans pour autant les sauver dans la vraie vie).  Finalement, les personnages un peu caricaturés sont les parfaits protagonistes pour une parodie de films d’horreur à la fois brutale, drôle et originale.

Meilleure mort: L’intro avec Drew Barrymore est devenue incontournable et, en rétrospective, très affectante. Ses parents l’entendent mourir au téléphone, pour l’amour!

Meilleure citation: Où commencer? J’aime bien cell-ci: “Sid, don’t you blame the movies, movies don’t create psychos, movies make psychos more creative!” Encore une fois un clin d’oeil aux opinions du public face aux conséquences du cinéma.

Y’as-tu des tits?!: Non, mais Rose McGowan nous fait savoir qu’il faisait froid sur le plateau.

Saviez-vous que…: Wes Craven racontait des histoires de cruauté animale à Drew Barrymore pour la garder apeurée.  Ca marchait bien on dirait.

Hoping to make up for the hot mess that was season 5, Nip/Tuck returns next Tuesday (Oct. 14) with brand new episodes that appear to kick the crazy back into high gear. I’m talking bat shit, people.

While Sean (Dylan Walsh) continues his dangerous love affair with crazy Teddy (now played by Rose McGowan), Matt (John Hensley) decides to become an actor. More specifically, he becomes a mime — one that may or may not turn to a life of crime. This craziness prompts Julia’s mother (a much-missed Vanessa Redgrave) to try to gain custody of Julia (Joely Richardson) and Sean’s other children. Meanwhile, Kimber (Kelly Carlson) becomes an esthetician and goes into business with Dr. Hamoui (a not-so-missed Mario Lopez).

Unfortunately, season 6 will also feature more Christian-Liz drama. In my opinion, their hook up (vomit) and marriage (double vomit) was the weakest part of season 5 — and possibly the stupidest storyline in the show’s history. Season 6 finds cancer-free Christian (Julian McMahon) and former-lesbian Liz (Roma Maffia) battling it out in some pretty ugly divorce proceedings. There is a silver lining, though: Wayne Knight (aka Seinfeld’s Newman and Jurassic Park’s roly poly villain) will be joining the show in the role of a divorce lawyer.

While creator Ryan Murphy may have forgotten about Nip/Tuck in favor of his new hit series, Glee, it’s important for us, the diehard fans, to appreciate the series’ remaining 13 episodes. Here’s a look at the upcoming season. Let’s hope it’s a good one!
