As long as children's imagination is at work, even a rubber band or a pillow can become a toy with which a child will feel a close connection.

For those gamers who are used to Lara Croft, the next-generation consoles revolutionized the way she handled. Gone were the grids, the running jumps, the aggravating camera controls. The vast improvement of the graphic, sound, and gameplay on the next-gen consoles have not gone unnoticed by fans who abandoned the game after the series' disappointing Angle of Darkness installment. But with Tomb Raider: Legend they found that Crystal Dynamics had picked up the ball where it had been dropped and run for the endzone.

Ten years after pointy-chested, polygonal Lara Croft ran, rolled, dove, and shot her way onto the video gaming stage, a new game based on Lara's exploit's in the very first Tomb Raider has been released. It was released for the PlayStation2 and the Xbox 360 in the summer of 2007, but owners of the Nintendo Wii had to wait until this week to get their hands on the diva of the video-gaming world.

While Tomb Raider Anniversary is dubbed as a remake, Crystal Dynamics has kept the environment and challenges fresh enough to warrant the game its own status. The environment and stories are generally the same as the first game, but if you're expecting a 1-to-1 update of the first Tomb Raider, you're going to be disappointed. In Tomb Raider Anniversary, Lara jumps, dives, and shoots her way through Peru, Greece, Egypt, and the lost island of Atlantis in pursuit of the three pieces of the mysterious Scion.

Some areas of the game have been expanded, and some have been tightened up, but the balance that players will probably look for is there. All the rooms, traps, and enemies you remember are there, but there's plenty of new challenges. Fans of the franchise will recognize the painstaking effort that Crystal Dynamic took to ensure that the best-loved areas from the first game were preserved faithfully. The best example of this is St. Francis Folly. The “column o' death” which Lara has to descend, gathering keys on the way down, is as close to identical to the original as players could want. The spirit (“Oh dear, I'm hundreds of feet up, hanging from a ledge and I've no idea what to do now”) is there in spades.

Other areas have been changed slightly. The “fire room” from Tomb Raider's Palace Midas has been altered slightly, giving Lara more of a challenge than just timing her jumps right. Faithful fans take heart: there's a good chance you'll have a Lara flambé at least once before you get through it.

The real story with Lara's journey to Wii is the new way you handle her. With the other next-generation systems, you still control Lara with the joysticks and cause her to interact with buttons on the controller. With the Wii, things are a little different. Players control Lara with the joystick and interact with the environment with the D-pad, but the Wii version has a whole new element: puzzles up close and personal.

Lara now has to manipulate puzzles with her hands, excavate items, and place items with precision. For instance, when placing the cogs in the machinery in the Lost Valley map, on the PS2 or Xbox 360, players simply choose it from the inventory and it will be placed automatically. On the Wii, you'll have the option of where to place which cog, causing a good deal of trial and error as the game progresses. This makes sense: Lara has never been to these environments before–how should she know what goes where?

In addition to placing objects, Lara now has to deal with complicated switches. On the PS2, you grab a switch and pull it down by pushing a single button. On the Wii, Lara may be required to work out a puzzle on the switch before she can pull it–using the new “Lara's Hands” feature. Players will use the varied Wii remotes to utilize all of Lara's features from her flashlight to her grappling hook. Players beware–the precision required by these actions may frustrate you if you haven't been playing on the Wii for long.

Further, Lara may be required to dig up objects, and on the Wii Lara comes equipped with a varied tool kit that players will have to use to excavate the item, whether it be a key or cog. Of course, shooting is also controlled by movement with the Wii remotes, giving you the feeling of being there.

With excellent graphics, beautiful sound and chilling music, and utilization of the Wii's controller style, Tomb Raider Anniversary puts you in Lara's trusty boots, short shorts, and sleeveles shirt. The new features that come with using the Wii's motion-based controllers add a whole new level of depth to the Tomb Raider franchise that fans and newcomers alike should enjoy.

Anda bisa mencoba Cube Explorer, Software yang biasa di pakai secara resmi oleh World Cube Asociation (WCA) untuk mengacak cube. Software ini dapat mengetahui algoritma tercepat dalam meyelesaikan cube bahkan hanya 20 langkah saja. Cara pemakaiannya: - Siapkan Rubik yang telah teracak. - Cocokkan warna rubik anda terhadap facelet dengan cara memilih warna center dari yang ingin anda tukar sehingga warna tersebut menjadi selected Color, lalu klik cuztomized Selected color dan pilih warnanya. - Masukkan warna ke Facelet menyerupai warna rubik anda. - Tekan Tombol Add and Solve - Maka di Main Window akan terdapat gambar rubik anda dan Manuver-nya untuk men-Solve Rubik tersebut. - Programnya akan mencari terus algoritma tercepatnya, jika anda ingin segera mencobanya, tekan tombol Stop(kotak berwarna merah di samping tulisan optimal) sehingga program menghentikan pencarian algoritmanya.



Kemampuan Cube Explorer tidak sampai di situ saja, Software ini juga dapat mencari Pattern. Misalkan anda ingin mencari Patter Seperti di gambar di bawah ini.

Caranya Bukalah Cube Explorer lalu masuklah ke Tab Patter Editor. Masukkan warna seperti gambar dibawah ini Selanjutnya klik Star search. Lalu klik tombol Play. Lakukan gerakannya pada Cube yang telah solve.

Selain itu Cube Explorer bisa mencari bentuk-bentuk simetri dari rubik dan merekam warna rubik anda pada web cam untuk di Solve.

Ho chiamato l’ufficio brevetti, e ho scoperto che i giocattoli non possono essere brevettati, si può registrare con il copyright il nome del giocattolo, che in quel caso quindi  non può essere copiato . Ma non ha niente a che vedere col brevetto, speterebbe alla SIAE intervenire, il brevetto non ci azzecca

Puoi proteggere il tuo prodotto (giocattolo) solo tramite il copyright.

Esempio.

Il monopoli. Non è brevettato il gioco, è registrato il nome, che non può essere utilizzato da altri.
Però , se te fai un gioco uguale al Monopoli e lo distribuisci col nome Casopoli potresti ugualmente essere denunciato, perchè propabilmente è stato depositato il regolamento.
Altro esempio, a me caro….

Quando la dogana ferma dei pacchi con dei cubi e fa pagare il dazio, a noi possono sembrare zelanti, invece sono negligenti…
Il marchio CE, questo sconosciuto.
Se la MAcDue facesse una segnalazione alla Guarda di Finanzia , come si dice dalle mie parti, verrebbe fuori un pieno, un bordello.
Ma non per forza deve essere la MacDue a farlo, basta  una qualsiasi persona…ma nn sarebbero sequestrati per conraffazione , ma perchè privi del marchio CE, almeno che non vengano chiamati Rubik….ma se ci fate caso la parola Rubik non esiste nei vari siti, tipo cube4you, si parla sempre di cube, di vari modelli, ma non rubik’s cube…solo cube

Lo stesso discorso vale per il fisher cube e per i V Cube

Quindi, chiunque può fabbricare e vendere questi cubi…senza problemi, non so come funziona a liello internazionale, ma in Italia è cosi

Sabes o que é o cubo mágico?

O cubo mágico, ou cubo de Rubik é um passatempo pra nerd brinquedo, ou melhor um quebra-cabeças tridimensional feito de cubos ligados por catracas, inventado pelo Húngaro Ernő Rubik (por isso o nome dele no cubo!) em que o objetivo é organizar as faces com movimentos verticais e horizontais até que cada lado tenha uma cor única…

Artistas franceses resolveram usar os cubos mágicos em montagens, algumas inspiradas em jogos de video-game como Space Invaders, Pac Man e Mario Bros onde os pixeis eram grandes e deixavam o jogo com um aspecto “quadradão”… alguns chamam isso de Rubikcubismo…

Este você terá que se afastar uns 2 metros do monitor para poder ver melhor…

Depois de algum tempo a tentar descortinar a melhor maneira de evoluir os meus tempos ( que por agora rondam os 90 s), comecei por tentar decorar os algoritmos para OLL.

No entanto como existem 57  diferentes comecei por aprender apenas 7 deles :Sune, Anti-Sune, Double Sune, The Wheel, “Carrinho”, Superman e Diagonals ou Bowtie).

Todos eles partem do princípio de que a cruz , no último layer está orientada, podendo ou não estar correcta.

Angesichts der ungebrochenen Attraktivität des Rubikschen Zauberwürfels war es ja eigentlich nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis wir eine Version zu Auge bekommen, die sich die Segnungen des technischen Fortschritts zu eigen macht.Was im Falle des Rubik’s TouchCube bedeutet, dass die einzelnen Felder beleuchtet und mit Touchsensor ausgestattet sind, so dass nicht mehr gedreht wird, sondern Fingerbewegungen wie beim iPhone ausreichen, um die Einzelteile in die gewünscht Richtunge zu drehen.

Ein Accelerometer merkt, welche Seite gerade oben liegt, und wer wie gewohnt auch an der lektronischen Variante scheitert, kann sich mit der ebenfalls eingebauten Lösungshilfe trösten.

Rätselhaft ist allerdings, was es bedeutet, dass der TouchCube laut Produktbeschreibung über eine “volume control” – nach meinem Verständnis eine Lautstärkeregelung – verfügt. Sollte er etwa auch noch Musik abspielen können? Gar aus den 80-er Jahren? Seltsam. Kostet 150 Dollar. [dieter]

Îţi pui planul în faţă, iei cubul, îl studiezi puţin şi afişezi un zâmbet satisfăcător. E uşor. Pare atât de simplu.

Începi să potriveşti pătrăţelele colorate, să le aliniezi, să le apropii, le desparţi din nou. Încă zâmbeşti. Îţi place. Totul va merge ca uns.

Trece o vreme şi încrunţi puţin din sprâncene. Galbenul îţi dă de furcă şi nu vrea nici cum să se potrivească. Nu-i nimic, mai încerci, de data asta cu o altă soluţie.

Mai trece un timp. Muşti uşor din buze şi murmuri ceva. Roşul nu e cum trebuie, mai e nevoie doar  de un pătrăţel.  E mai complicat. Galbenul e deja pe poziţii, roşul e pe cale să ajungă.

După o vreme eşti agitat. Simţi că pierzi controlul asupra a ceea ce ţi se părea un fleac şi uşor de realizat. Cubul nu mai răspunde ideilor tale şi culorile se amestecă. În jurul tău se deschide un abis haotic şi aproape simţi că înnebuneşti. Transpiri şi respiri agitat. Ai vrea să fugi, dar cubul te ţine în loc. Vrei să îl rezolvi, dar ideile s-au risipit în eter. Eşti debusolat.

Eşti înlănţuit în propriul tău iad şi cauţi cu disperare o ieşire. În hora ta nebună îi prinzi pe cei care au căutat să îţi ofere tot timpul o soluţie. Ai preferat să ignori metodele de rezolvare şi să continui cu propuneri inutile, de la persoane inutile.

Şi părea atât de simplu, nu-i aşa? 6 culori, 9 abţibilde pentru fiecare culoare, instrucţiunile simple, listate în faţa ta…

Şi atunci eu mă întreb: cum să reuşeşti să fii un manager bun pentru firma ta când nu eşti în stare să rezolvi un Rubik cu toate resursele necesare în faţă?

*rândurile de mai sus pot fi valabile pentru orice altceva, de exemplu un preşedinte…

Allerdings darf ich von Edinburgh fliegen, nicht von Aberdeen. Die Fluggesellschaften haben sich ausgedacht das man im Dezember nur ab 500 € aufwärts fliegen darf. Edinburgh sind dann mal deutlich weniger Taler – man muss halt nur hinkommen.

Naja, ich werde mir dann aus der Bahn die Landschaft angucken können, ich freu mich drauf.
Apropo drauf freuen – am Wochenende kommt mich Sara besuchen…naja, wir besuchen uns gegenseitig in Edinburgh – ihr könnt also im Laufe der nächsten Woche auf ein paar Interessante Bilder freuen.

Ansonsten habe ich die Woche mehr oder minder frei. Leider wurden meine Primer vergessen, so dass die erst morgen ankommen. Bis dahin kann ich aber schonmal ein wenig zusammenschreiben. Wir Rubiks Revenge schaff ich inzwischen in weniger als 4 Minuten, nur mal fürs Protokoll

Ah, this band is made of greatness.
There are quite some retro moments, this glamorous 70s sound where everything was grand and delicious, yet without the sleakness. Rubik are noisy, orchestral and messy and all that fits so well that I rather not name the bands they might or might not remind me of, because we really don’t have the time to spend the rest of the day reading bandnames, do we? They are just too diverse to do that and therefore, I am not going to.
All in all, this bearded piece of colourful music and brilliant musicians is so full of ideas, that they resemble a children’s picture of a day at the fair, actually, remembering the joy and excitement of childhood fits very well to their sound. If you ever feel like autumn and winter are dragging you down, just tune in this indie-pop beauty and you won’t even remember what sadness feels like.

This might be a hot shot for the next big thing in 2010. I’ll be damned if humanity doesn’t love them by then.
