I have pretty much nothing to say about this song other than that I love it. I suppose that was bound to happen 495 songs into this little endeavor. I just hope it doesn’t start happening more often.

I thought of Fleetwood Mac recently when John Mayer talked about their influence on one of his new songs and, as usually happens when I think about Fleetwood Mac, I remembered how much I love their stuff. And I don’t think I need much more of an excuse than that to feature them on the blog.

So here’s one of my favorite songs from the classic Rumours album.

This past weekend saw Tiger Woods involved in a serious car accident that reportedly resulted in facial injuries. Updated reports claimed  that the lacerations were actually caused by his wife Elin Nordegren who had a go at him because he was possibly sexy timing Rachel Uchitel ( a VIP hostess at prominent nightclubs).

Did Tiger bring out the driver on this one…

According to Sphere.com, Paula Abdul was the lone holdout participant even BEFORE she announced she was leaving the show. Innnteresting.

We doubt this very much, but there’s a big rumour going around that Muse are to headline Glastonbury next year.

You may have heard floating within the world wide web of news of unhappy players within the Anfield dressing room, and at first glance it may come off as a serious threat to Liverpool’s situation but upon closer inspection you will realise how a simple comment by an unruly agent has been blown out of proportions.

Agents, first and foremost intentions are to look after their clients, but then comes their second nature which is to leech as much as possible from their short-termed career clients.

I won’t be surprised to hear such accusations being made, especially from the mouth of an agent when the january transfer window looms near.

Add to the fact that talks of a crisis is hanging over Anfield and it doesn’t come as a surprise that stories are being cropped up to stir emotions around the ground.

There really isn’t a better timing for a fairweather player to consider a move out of a club, or should I coin it as to ‘run away’ from it all than now, and who better than agents to stir controversary, if simply to alert lurking clubs of player’s so-called discontent.

Trust me when I say that any player will be able to stand up for himself whenever there’s unhappiness within the camp, and when those words come off an Agent’s mouth, you can be sure that there’s nothing more than a spinster’s tale that’s going around.

So yeah, I’ll brush off the talk of unhappy Anfield players just like that, and I’ll do the same for any thoughts of a ground share with, quite possibly, one of our longest running rival ever — Everton FC.

Everton’s new ground plan have been brushed off by the local authorities and they’re considering every alternative possible.

Too bad they considered the impossible, that is sharing of grounds.

And though I may not know of the real reasons for a new stadium plans, apart from the financial aspects of it, I see no point in investing so much onto such real estate when it could be spent on reinforcing the teamsheet.

George Michael will perform two Australian concerts in February, and the first will be in Perth.                                                          

Rumours had been rife that the Too Funky star was headed down under, and today his Australian trip has been confirmed.

Heading to Australia for the first time since 1988, the Wham! star and solo pop vocalist will perform at Member’s Equity Stadium on February 20.  He will then perform in Sydney at Sydney Football Stadium on February 26.

He will perform tracks from the early days, Wham! and his latest material.

Promoter Paul Dainty said it was thrilling to bring Michael back to the country following his Faith tour in the 80s.

“He is a consummate performer and will deliver a stunning show to his fans who have waited 22 years to see him perform in Australia,” Dainty said.

Michael has performed for more than 2 million fans on this 25 Live arena tour so far. More than 350,000 people flocked to his London performances alone.

Michael has sold more than 100 million pop albums, had six American number one singles and won plenty of awards for tunes including Faith, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Careless Whisper, One More Try, Freedom, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and Too Funky.

Tickets will go on sale through TicketMaster on December 8.

As everyone is probably aware, Apple are reported to be producing a tablet personal computer device that will ‘revolutionise’ the way we surf, get digital content etc.

A mock-up of the apple tablet, the best I’ve seen so far. If this is yours, gimme a shout so I can give you credit .

As a self diagnosed techno-addict, I can say that I’m terribly excited about seeing and using this fabled device.

However, the rumours and suggestions about the currently non-existant device have started off yet another war with technology firms to get into this as-of-yet unfilled niche in the market.

Now there are new products coming from everywhere to find a place in our hearts and by our sides as the ‘one product to rule our life’, if you would.

We have Archos and Microsoft already in the game for definite, and theres also the Crunch Pad, which has been delayed time and time again for god knows how long. And I’m willing to bet all of the computer manufacturers, like Dell and Hewlett-Packard, are all on the drawing boards to get a slimline tablet out to stores before the daddy hits town.

I’m just hoping that these devices aren’t more unrefined, totally unusable crap imitations and wannabes that we tend to find when a hyped, unannounced product finally hits retail. Market saturation kills everything, even the Holy Grail would have a cheap imitation if it was a consumer electronic.

The tablets of old leave a lot to be desired. Low screen quality, unresponsive things that are basically laptops with an attempt chucked in there. They are hard to use, never do what you want them to, and you have to use a stylus. I think this is why they never took off. The technology wasn’t smooth enough for everyday use. Now is the time for tablet power to be completely realised. But what do we want? I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say that its gotta tick the boxes:

• Quality screen (ideally HD, for when we want to watch and see things in clarity)
• Everlasting battery life (for the people on the go, or those who hate wires)
• Purdyful (because no one wants to carry around a big fat chunk of dark plastic giving a black and white GUI)
• Capacitive, multi-touch interface that makes use feel effortless
• Bombproof firmware (so we don’t see any glitches in our day to day use, no one likes a slow machine)
• Connectivity coming out of its ass (just in case )

I don’t really care who makes it to be honest. I’ll admit, I’m a fan of Apple, but if theres something better than what they come out with, i’ll get it. Dammit, i just want a sexy tablet!

Humans inherently love to talk.  And sometimes, they simply talk too much instead of allowing things to happen.  It’s often wiser to leave well enough alone, to respect a silence.  Our celebrity-obsessed culture teaches the very opposite, and coupled with the reality TV that swarms us, how can we choose to turn away from the whispers and remain decidedly ignorant of others’ affairs?

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has slammed recent reports that her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole is “on the rocks”, says a report. The 26-year-old has told friends that the couple “have never been happier”.

Cheryl recently spoke out after reports in tabloid newspapers had hinted that her marriage to the Chelsea winger was in trouble.

She wrote on Twitter: “Everything is just fine, and I feel really, really content right now.”

Cheryl and Ashley are said to have “grown closer” in recent weeks after the footballer sustained an injury.

A friend told the Daily Mirror: “Cheryl has been nursing her man better.

“The pair dote on each other. They are more in love than ever before.

“She loves it that Ashley is there to support her at X Factor and every step of the way with her solo career too.

“While he has been injured they have been spending loads of time together. They’re as close as ever.”

And according to my sources, that is precisely what we’ll get a little later this season on the CW’sMelrose Place, as not one, not two, not three but four alums from the original series will convene on the famous complex to party down.

Clearly, Heather Locklear is one of them, as she made her triumphant and bitchtastic return tonight. (Can that girl still rock a miniskirt or what?) And according to sources, Locklear will appear in all but one of the remaining episodes of Melrose’s first season (there are 18 total).

I’m told Heather will be joined by three other Melrose Place alums in the 16th episode…

Josie Bissett (Jane Mancini), Daphe Zuniga (Jo Reynolds) and Thomas Calabro (Michael Mancini).

Word is, they’ll all come together for a big soiree at the building.

I’m also told that Heather’s storyline heats up in the next few episodes, so if you found her return tonight slightly ho-hum, be a wee bit patient.

Oh, and BTW? A very reliable insider (who tells it like it is) tells me that the rumors of Ashlee Simpson being disliked by her fellow cast members and ousted by Heather are “100 percent false.” That’s not why she was written out, I’m told. She was always a sweetheart on set.
