How Fast Would You Like to Go? Top 5 Fastest Cars Ever.

So that post I made of the Bugatti being taken to it’s top speed really got me thinking. More like day dreaming actually. Imagine how amazing it would be to go that fast? Well that question led me to this post. I bring you the Top 5 fastest production cars on the planet. I know it is usually a top 10 but that is just too far down the line for me. First 5 are what matters. Enjoy.

Entering in 5th place is the Mclaren F1. This used to be the fastest car in the world until it’s mantle was taken over by the other 4 cars.

Engine: V12 627hp
Stats: Top speed – 240mph. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.
Price Tag: $970,000

Bred by the Swedish High Performance Automaker; The Koenigsegg CCX speeds in but not too fast at 4th place.

Engine: V8 806hp
Stats: Top speed – 245mph. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.
Price Tag: $545,000

In 3rd place we have the Saleen S7. In spite of it’s enormous size, the S7 is quite the beautiful car. Although don’t expect to be cooled easily with the engine right behind you.

Engine: Twin Turbo Fully Aluminum V8, 750hp.
Stats: Top speed – 248mph. 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.
Price Tag: $555,000

Falling back into 2nd place is the extremely well known Bugatti Veyron, after all this car was a pioneer in it’s field. This beautiful car can reach a top speed of 250mph. That is over 400km/h! I want to drive that fast soooo badly without amassing a tremendous amount of speeding tickets of course.

Engine: W16 1001hp
Stats: 253mph top speed. 0-60 in 2.5 seconds.
Price: a whopping $1.7m making it the highest priced car ever.

Finally, zooming into 1st place with no style what so ever is the SSC Ultimate Aero. I don’t know about you guys but this must be the ugliest supercar I have ever seen. I think of vomit every time I look at it. The thing looks like it was made 5 years ago. Good job on reaching 257mph though. That’s pretty crazy I must admit.

Engine: Twin Turbo V8 1183hp
Stats: 0-60 in 2.7 seconds.
Price Tag: $664,000- less than half the price of the Bugatti Veyron.

My Thoughts: Even though the Aero wins #1 fastest production car in the world, I think I’ll take the close second; Bugatti Veyron. It’s beautiful, it’s high tech and it is still very fast.

The Saleen S7 is a limited-production, hand-built, high-performance automobile developed jointly by Saleen, Hidden Creek Industries, Phil Frank Design, and Ray Mallock Ltd. with RML taking full credit designing and developing the S7,[ and produced solely by Saleen in Irvine, California. It is the first car produced by Saleen not based on an existing design. The S7 debuted on August 19, 2000 at the Monterey Historic Races. From 2000 until 2004, the S7 featured a naturally aspirated V8 engine with 550 horsepower (410 kW). In 2005, the S7 was replaced by the S7 Twin Turbo, which featured a more powerful twin-turbo system that boosted engine power to 750 horsepower (760 PS/559 kW) and the top speed to an estimated 250 mph (402 km/h)

Here you go folks. The rest of the photos from the DC Auto show are here. This time it’s a lot more American cars (even some American super cars). Like I said before, I’m a big auto enthusiast. So this trip to the auto show was a lot of fun.

This new batch of photos will include the likes of some classic mustangs, brand new Mustangs and other muscle cars such as the new Dodge Challenger. as well as some other incredible cars. Even the onetime world record holder for the fastest production car: The Saleen S7. That thing reaches a top speed close to 250 miles per hour! That’s ridiculous!

Anyway, I won’t keep you any longer. Go look at some of the other eye candy from the show. (don’t worry, I’ll start you where the other batch left off).

I just finished my writing on Shadow’s Secret for today and I actually found myself describing a character’s thoughts about a car for an entire paragraph. Am I nuts? Seriously, though, the car is going to come in later. I really wanted to give the story some sort of grounding in this century, considering the story takes place in 2412, so I actually gave Robert a Saleen S7.

I even named the car Meggie for him. Yes, Robert has a very special connection with this car. After all, he rescued it from the junkyard and restored it painstakingly. It just seemed right to give her a name, so I went with Meggie. Really, though, does that make me insane? Or am I just that sensitive to the details?

As the Exotic Car Gallery is located next to the Mall at Millenia you can drop off the family to do some shopping and spend as long as you like looking at the cars. The car gallery is located on the edge of downtown Orlando about 25 miles from the main Orlando vacation rental area but it’s a very easy drive straight up Interstate 4 (I4).

okay im a major car fan and love cars with all my heart and soul next to guitars. and i know im kinda of copying bobbys dvd Review thing but “Red Line” the movie was absolutely Horrible.i watched it last night and besides all the hot cars. i would honestly say the worst movie in the world the acting was just a joke and the guy that came out of the army Come on?… in club Pure in vegas kicking every ones ass and Fleeing to the car was just so stupid sure the SLR Mclaren,Ferrari ENZO, Ford GT-40,Saleen S7,Lamborghini Murcielago, and Porsche Carerra GT Where just awesome to see and actully hear the Exhaust when they start them up. and the SLR’s Super just kickin ass. but it was the Worst movie. it was Corny and lame, the part i actully laughed at is when the guy hit Nos and flipped 900 feet in the air. (sorry if i ruined the movie for you wanting to see it) but i actully hate because i wasted 2 hours on this movie. i could of watched some porn and jerked off would of been more amusingAnd thouse are my thoughts towards Red line Horrible Stupid and Lame.This segment was on Mitch hating something.Thank you.

I’m not sure how helpful this sort of report really is, and especially for trying to make sense of modern events. This quote could really be said of any group division:

I saw a reference to this on Armies of Liberation (Head of Iraqi Muslim Scholars is a Thug and a Terrorist according to Iraqis), citing a hosted entry on Mudville (More from Basra).

I did not find any mainstream, or even peripheral, online articles. There may be reference somewhere and my search just did not turn it up.

Whatever the significance of this particular fatwa, ignoring (or ignorance of) fatwas such as this, as well as the broader ignoring (or ignorance) of plurality in Islam, not only does a disservice to Muslims, but does a disservice to those in the “West.” Allowing policies to be based on ignorance (or worse) may serve some parties, but I can not believe it serves us.
