Just last week, I treated my parents to a night out in London with a dinner and theatre combination.

After the three of us had enjoyed a two course meal at Cafe des Amis (Covent Garden), which I must say included exceptional service (my mother complained about the burnt underside of her thai fish cake and a completely new plate of food was served in a flash without a sigh or dirty look in sight), a wide range of choices were available to us, despite the set menu and an enjoyable atmosphere, we ventured off past The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, down The Strand, to The Savoy Theatre. 717 more words
