Well its that time of year again. Christmas is virtually here. Our tree is up, there are presents under it and bowls of Quality Street chocolates on a little table in the front room.

We will be spending Christmas Day at home with the kids. Then on boxing day we are of to New Quay in Pembrokeshire. Its a small fishing village in West Wales and we have hired a cottage overlooking the sea. All very peaceful and tranquil.

Do not despair, even though I am away TM Courier is open for business as usual and everything is in place to provide the same high standards you have come to expect from TM Courier.

4 working days this week so and 4 times I have had to set the alarm for 4.30am. I think I need to add a box of matches to my kit to prop open my eye lids. At least I have been sleeping like a baby. Its another long trip tomorrow, off to Newcastle. There is no time on the job so at least I can get up when its light.

I did have an alarm mis-hap on Tuesday. I had forgot to set the volume to a level that would wake me up but not the whole street. OOOOhhhhhhhh dear, it was left pretty much on full blast. Consequently it woke my wife up at half 4, which had further consequences of me being in the dog house for the day. I can’t blame her really.

So, its off to Newcastle tomorrow and another 500 odd miles under my belt. But, as they say it pays the bills!!!!

It would have been a tight squeeze, but with a little ingenuity fans could have seen the Knicks, Giants and Rangers on the same day.

The enterprising New York could have caught three originals franchises in action today – the Knicks, Giants and Rangers.

• The Knicks in a noon matinee against the Nets at the Garden
• The Giants in a 4:15 kick against the Cowboys in the Meadowlands
• And the Rangers in a 7 pm face against the Red Wings at MSG

Sure, it’s probably happened before. And it would have taken some hop-scotch back and forth across or under the Hudson to make it happen again.

But if anyone out there did it, send me a post card.

Another week gone by, and another week closer to Christmas. Good job my wife is organised as most of the shopping seems to be done. 80% on the Internet and she is the Queen at finding discount codes on the Internet as well. Most stuff always seems to have and extra 10%, 15% or even 20% off.

It was certainly a busy week with lots going on. Lots of deliveries and lots of accidents on the roads this week. Held up twice on the A1 this week, which added an hour, both times, onto my journey time. Although one did look particularly bad as the air ambulance was there.

Its exhibition time for one of my clients with optical equipment going here there and everywhere. Been to Harrogate 3 times this week. First to deliver the instrument, second to deliver another instrument, and the final time to collect one of the instruments which had a fault and deliver a replacement.  This was further complicated as one part of the replacement was missing. Called the sales rep and he said he had it  - SOMEWHERE – but couldn’t remember where. Knowing the guy it could be anywhere.

Thanks should go to Andrew and his team at CMBB who have helped me out several times this week, without fuss or delay.

So I wonder what will happen this week? The first week of December. Roll on the 26th of December and a well earned New Years holiday in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Incidentally its been a good week or my Internet Marketing. Just a side line but bring in a bit if extra cash.

Last week I started various mini projects, which look like real big opportunities in combination with my recent projects. I am still too excited to really seriously talk about it in detail. However, I feel that my efforts are leading me into my desired direction, even though I am taking a path which is way different than expected at the beginning.

Especially during this weekend, I learned tons of new things about Twitter, about branding, about how to generate traffic and how to turn the 1024×600 monitor of my netbook into a 1024×768 monitor.

Everything just happened after two simple actions I did: I read a free eBook and bought the product it sells for 37 bucks and I finally purchased the software with which Twitter performances can be enhanced immensely. In the process of doing this, I met some very interesting persons online, who really told me a lot of stuff I did not know before – thanks for that.

This coming week I will test everything to be able to tell you more about it. So far all this maybe sounds kind of mysterious, but in fact I want to spare you my opinion on something I have not experienced yet.

Well, next week, there’s gonna be some experience to share and you will have the chance to read it here. On that note: Next week – same day – same place. Have a great time in the meanwhile.

Today’s Head To Head in The News features two giants: One giant rock and one giant cock.

The end of all life on Earth. Just to prove how realistic this possibility is, this was in the news today:

If it’s not enough to be super rich, the Captain of your team, young; athletically fit, able to take your pick of the women, AND be a potential role-model for young fans – why not go out to some craphole of a pub or nightclub, announce to everyone that you’re Steven Gerrard and live up to your ungrateful immature egomaniac footballer stereotype by smacking someone’s face in.
“Yes, I’m The Steven Gerrard. Yes, the Captain of Liverpool. Yes, The Steven ‘I can’t feel good about myself without beating up the DJ just because he won’t let me put Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby on the pub stereo’ Gerrard.”

WTF is it with footballers? Why don’t football managers do something about it? Anything. Something like this:

Actually, I have no idea if all football managers speak like an angry and sober Father Jack Hackett from Craggy Island, but I bet they do. All of them. Or at least I wish they would -  they could clean up this so-called ‘Gentleman’s Game’ overnight. Footballers – they don’t know how good they’ve got it (and if they did they’d just piss it all away that bit faster).

I wonder how many connections he’s got, apart from being able to afford amazing lawyers, to get the judge to say this:

Perhaps more importantly, what must Gerrard have said to make the guy instantly snap? He’d been put in charge of the pub’s music, so he can’t have been an totally irresponsible psychopath. And I ask again – who threw the first punch? Answer: A member of Gerrard’s entourage. Who threw the second, third and fourth punches? Answer: Steven Gerrard. All the victim did was get out of his seat, and still we end up with this comment from the judge:

“The verdict is a credible verdict on the full facts of this case, and you walk away from this court with your reputation intact.“

‘Credible’? ‘Full facts’? ‘Intact’? Whatever you say, M’lud. Whatever you say.

The Story No-one’s Talking About: Another Arab Muslim “Student” Tries to Bring a Knife on a Plane in Tampa, story broke wide open by private investigator Bill Warner.

A few years ago, the incident involving Raed Abdul-Rahman Alsaif would have been a big national news story. Perhaps, international.

But now, in the era of Obama “post-terrorism,” we’re supposed to pretend that these things–these attempts by Muslims to bring weapons on planes for the apparent purpose of hijacking and, at the very least, testing the system–don’t happen. Yup, in this new “enlightened” age, these things are only reported once on the pages of the Tampa Tribune. And not in any other mainstream media sources outside South Florida. Yes, a Muslim man trying to get a seven-inch butcher knife on a plane in America is no longer “noteworthy.”

Federal authorities have charged a 24-year-old man with trying to bring a seven-inch knife aboard a plane at Tampa International Airport.

Raed Alsaif, Complete with Extremist Muslim Beard

Raed Abduhl-Rahman Alsaif was arrested June 4 as he tried to board US Airways flight 1077 to Phoenix and Portland, Ore., according to a criminal complaint.

During the screening process, an officer spotted a large chef’s knife in one of Alsaif’s bags, the complaint states. The knife was concealed between the outside fabric and the expandable pull handles of the bag.

Read the federal criminal complaint against Alsaif. According to private investigator Bill Warner (who has done a ton of digging into this guy), Alsaif is a Saudi Arabian national, here on a student visa–you know, one of those wonderful Saudi student visas that President Bush and Saudi King Abdullah doubled to 30,000, in the interest of “open exchange” and “understanding.”

Bill reports that Alsaif has two previous instances on his criminal record:

Raed Abduhl-Rahman Al-Saif is a student at the University of Tampa and has been arrested at least twice before in the last 8 months on Felony drug charges in Hillsborough County.

And, of course, as many Muslims and Arabs do, the guy spelled his name differently in those instances, as “Raed Abdurahmans Alsaif” and “Raed Abdulrahman Alsaif.”

Hmmm . . . three arrests, and this guy is still here? Where is ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement)? Oh, yeah, they can’t do their jobs, or else Janet Napolitano a/k/a “The Lesbionic Woman” will investigate them for doing it.

And Bill notes that Alsaif is a graduate of the Islamic Saudi Academy Alexandria, VA–an extremist school linked to Al-Qaeda and that the Alsaif family is prominent in Al-Qaeda.

Let’s hear it for those Saudi Muslim student visas!

**** UPDATE: Bill Warner also points out that on the very same day (June 4, 2009) that Alsaif tried to sneak the butcher knife onto the U.S. Airways flight bound for Phoenix, Arizona, two other men, Roshid Milledge and Damien Young, were caught trying to do the same thing from Philadelphia–also on a U.S. Airwarys flight bound for Phoenix, Arizona. Both flights were scheduled to take off within 35 minutes of each other. Coincidence? Or mass hijacking plan a la 9/11?

Don’t bet against the latter.

My dear Tihi, my dear Attila Biro, there is a correlation between what the neonazis did in Budapest, and the actions of some unknown agents provocateurs in Romania the same day. 

The only neonazis in Romania belong to the Hungarian minority. Why do the Romanian authorities tolerate them? May be this is because the Romanian authorities know they are agents provocateurs.
