Tardy with last weeks update, just like my Thanksgiving Dinner. Sorry for the delay, and for the ‘off season’ it was not such a bad week. Things are still moving in Incline Village Real Estate…that is the good news!

New Listings were super slow with only 4 hitting the market in total.

Price changes were moderate and all the changes were reductions (duh!  I guess people are starting to get it).

New Escrows were decent with 4 condos, 1 PUD or planned unit development and 2 single family homes.  Many of these were on the hot buy list including, Mountain Shadows $135, 978 Glenrock #13 and 682 Ralston.

Sales for the week include 3 condos, 1 PUD and 4 Single Family Homes.  There were some good deals in here…a Thrid Creek for $650K, Forest Pines for a whopping $380K (WOW!), Coeur du Lac for 430, Freels sold for $735K and 861 Jeffrey (a single family home) sold for $405K.  Good job to those buyers!  I am also incredibly surprised by the sales in ‘The Estates’ congrats to those Sellers.

Homes rejected from the market were low at just 13 (lucky 13 that is).  5 condos were rejected, 3 investment properties (they have been rejected all year, not one sale in investment properties) and 5 homes.  Advice to you is to review your pricing scheme, adjust or move furniture and ’stuff’ around your house and try it again.

Perfektion ist bei menschlichem Verhalten subjektiv und darf auch gerne so betrachtet werden- Dies ist zumindest meine Sicht der Dinge…

Ich erzähle Ihnen von zwei Kunden welche ich persönlich für „perfekt“ betrachte:

Mein ÖV- Chauffeur

Ich kenne Pascal seit gut 18 Monaten. Er buchte mich das erste Mal im Mai 2008- wenn ich mich richtig Erinnere in der zweiten Hälfte des Monats.

Ich war gerade in Zürich und wollte mit Sandy den Abend ausklingen lassen, das Glas Martini war schon bestellt, als mich Pascal anrief. „Hast du noch Zeit für einen Besuch? Bin in Zürich nähe See zuhause.“ erklärte er mir freundlich. Da ein Martini schnell getrunken ist sagte ich Pascal das ich in ca. 30 Minuten bei ihm sein könne, fragte noch nach den erforderlichen Daten und klärte meinen Potenziellen Kunden noch kurz über die Preise auf. Sandy erkannte das Sie ihren Kaffee wohl auch stürzen musste und ein paar Minuten später waren wir auf dem Weg zu Pascal.

Ich klingelte und wartete auf den Summer. Ein paar Sekunden später ging im vermeintlichen Keller ein Licht an und sah wie Pascal zum ersten Mal. Er öffnete mir freudestrahlend die Tür. Ich trat herein, begrüsste ihn mit einem Kuss und folgte Ihm hinunter in seine Wohnung. Er nahm mir Gentleman- Like meine Jacke ab, und fragte mich ob ich auch Lust auf ein Glas Wein hätte. „Ja klar, gerne“ antwortete ich ihm und setze mich auf sein abgewetztes grünes Sofa. Pascal brachte unterdessen zwei Gläser Wein und hatte den Umschlag mit meinem Honorar in der Hosentasche. Bevor wir anstiessen war ich im Besitz des Umschlags und soweit war alles ganz gut.

Wir plauderten ein paar Minuten als er mich fragte ob ich Frank Sinatra mag. „Ich liebe Frank Sinatra!“ und bevor ich noch was sagen konnte lief auch schon „New York“ Pascal forderte mich zum Tanz auf. Da ich zwar keine Tanzschritte kenne aber ein wenig Rythmusgefühl habe war es sehr unterhaltsam- für ihn wie auch für mich

Ein paar Minuten später überfielen wir uns mehr oder weniger gleichzeitig. Die Zeit verflog wie Flug. Es passte einfach alles und jeder wusste was erlaubt ist und was nicht. Einer der wenigen Momente in denen ich meine Gehirnwindungen nicht so sehr  belasten musste. Pascal sorgte auch dafür dass ich am Tag darauf Muskelkater haben sollte….

Da wir „zeitig“ fertig waren, blieben auch noch ein paar Minuten um den inzwischen warmen Wein auszutrinken und nochmals eine Runde zu plaudern. Er erzählte mir warum er zu dieser unsittlichen Zeit noch wach sei. „Ich bin ein ÖV-Chauffeur“ erzählte er stolz. „Und ja ich sehe tagtäglich hübsche Frauen, da ist es ja sicher verständlich für dich das ich mein inneres Gleichgewicht wiederfinden muss.“ Ich grinste und prostete Pascal zu.

Als ich verstohlen auf die Uhr schaute und Luft holen wollte um ihm zu sagen das ich jetzt gehen müsste, war er schon auf dem Weg zur Garderobe und holte meine Jacke und half mir auch in diese hinein. Ich verabschiedete mich und Pascal sagte noch:„Ich danke dir und melde mich  wieder“

Und das tut er bis heute jede Woche

Es ist schwierig im Nachhinein zu beschreiben wie es war als mein Erster Kunde mich bezahlt hat. Ich hätte es wohl noch in derselben Nacht aufschreiben sollen- warum ich es nicht getan habe weiss ich leider nicht…Vermutlich war ich zu aufgewühlt.

Ich bin vor 2 Jahren in einem Etablissement in dieses Gewerbe eingestiegen. Das Interieur war in Rot und Erdtönen gehalten und machte einen heimeligen Eindruck auf die Gäste und verlangte von mir und den anderen Damen, pingelig darauf zu achten das die Samtüberzüge nicht fleckig werden.

Die Gäste, welches dieses Etablissement anzog, kamen aus allen Sozialen Schichten und von unhöflich und stinkend bis hin zu Gentleman und Gutaussehend war so ziemlich alles dabei.

Ich habe mir einen Martini aus der Bar geholt um meinen Puls zu beruhigen und wollte es mir auf dem Sofa bequem machen als es draussen klingelte. Cora, die Chefin des Etablissements, hatte Kameras installieren lassen und den Überwachungsbildschirm hinter die Bar gestellt so dass die Dirnen sehen konnten welcher Gast in kürze da sein würde. Cora wies mich an mit Ihr hinter die Bar zu kommen. Sie erkannte Peter, auch genannt Mumie. Sie meinte dies sei der perfekte erste Gast für mich, da er nie länger als 15 Minuten buchen würde und sich nur eine Feinmassage wünsche. „Nun gut, Sie wird schon Recht haben“ dachte ich mir und war gespannt wie der Gast auf mich reagieren würde.

Kurz bevor Cora die Türe öffnete fragte ich Sie: „Warum nennst du den Gast Mumie?“ Cora grinste und meinte: „Das wirst du schon noch sehen, aber mach dir keine Sorgen er ist einfach“ Na was Cora wohl unter „einfach“ verstehen würde? Sie öffnete die Tür und vor mir stand ein kleiner Mann, mit Brille, Halbglatze, leicht gräulicher Haut und mit einem Schnauzer. Er musterte mich von oben bis unten, blieb kurz bei meiner Oberweite stehen und schaute freudig Cora an. „Kann ich die „neue“ heute buchen?“ Cora nickte wohlwollend und ich fragte mich immer noch warum er wohl Mumie genannt wurde. Hatte er einen grauenvollen Hautausschlag? Roch er komisch wenn er seine Kleider auszieht? Warum zum Teufel Mumie?

Ich verdrängte den „Mumien-Gedanken und fragte Ihn in welches Zimmer er gehen möchte. Er wählte das Spiegelzimmer. Ich wurde langsam Nervös…Was kann man alles falsch machen im Bett? Diese Überlegung kam mir dort zum ersten Mal. Ich fühlte mich wie eine 12 Jährige die gerade die Dr. Sommer Seite in der Bravo studiert hatte.

Als ich die Türe hinter uns zugemacht hatte, fragte ich Peter was er denn machen möchte. „Feinmassage. 10 Minuten.“ Antwortete er mit monotoner Stimme, übergab mir das Honorar, zog seine Hose aus und legte sich aufs Bett. Ich legte mich zu Peter und begann langsam zu begreifen warum er Mumie genannt wurde. In den ganzen 10 Minuten sagte er nichts. Er zeigte auch keine Gefühlsregung- und ich wusste nicht ob es Peter überhaupt gefällt oder ob er eingeschlafen ist. Hilfe! Was tun wenn der Kerl einschläft?

Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit hatte ich doch noch erreicht wofür er bezahlt hatte. „Endlich!“ dachte ich mir und reichte der „Mumie“ ein paar Kleenex Tücher. Er sortierte sich, zog sich an und verlies das Etablissement.

Ich machte kurz das Zimmer wieder zurecht, mich ebenfalls und gesellte mich zu Cora an die Bar. Sie reichte mir meinen Drink und fragte: „Na, wie war’s?“ Ich trank einen grossen Schluck Martini, zündete mir eine Zigarette an und meinte grinsend: „Ruhig“ Cora fing an zu lachen und prostete mir zu.

Das war mein erster Kunde- Eine Mumie…

Vou direto aos shows que foram sensacionais…

Explicações sobre Reciclagem, uso consciente de água e recursos naturais…
As mesas eram de cortiça e/ou papelão…e as cadeiras de pneus…muito legal…e colorido.
Vasos criados com garrafas pet…Copos de isopor…e várias lixeiras para a separação do lixo.

Muito legal.

Chegamos na pista no meio do Show do AfroReggae…e os caras são loucos de mais, que batida gostosa…que som contagiante…
Muito legal…pena que perdemos o começo.

Em seguida veio o Show do Arnaldo Antunes…o cara é um figurassa….dei muita risada com a apresentação dele…é divertidissimo…
Só pela roupa deles você já nota a diversão…

Logo depois: Carlinhos Brown…como ele está velho…meu Deus…rs*
Que show…que showzasso…o cara é demais…completamente sem noção…foi para o meio da galera, sem medo, sem dó…

Fiquei pertinhooo dele quando ele saltou a grade…
E ele tocando caixa, o que que é aquilo…que som animal…arrepia só de lembrar…
Foi o mais agitado, alegre e contagiante do dia…demais!

Após isso, tivemos o show do Lenine, muito mais calmo e sereno do que o anterior…e as meninas enlouquecidas para acabar logo esse que o seguinte era o mais esperado por elas.
Eu adoro Lenine…e quando ele tocou ‘Paciência’, me valeu o dia…foi master emocionante:

“Será que é tempo que me falta pra perceber…Será que temos esse tempo pra perder…
E quem quer saber…A vida é tão rara!”

Ele tem cara de bravo…rs*

E então…que suba Jason Mraz…e que mala que esse cara é…entrou todo posudo no palco…caminhando bemmmm devagar…maior sarro…
E a galera enlouqueceu…o show dele foi muito bom…ele é demais…as músicas dele são muito gostosas de ouvir…

Ele cantou Lucky com a Sandy…eu adoro ela e acho que foi a escolha perfeita…ficou lindo…pena que o microfone dela estava um pouco baixo…Mas foi muito legal…

No finalzinho do show dele caiu o mundo…muita chuva…muita lama…uma pena…o dia estava perfeito até então…
Não consegui ficar para o show do Sting…eu estava pra lá de cansada e a chuva estava muito forte…
Pensando agora, lamento, deveria ter ficado…o cara é bom demais…Gosto das musicas e aposto que foi  O Show…
Mas sei que terei outras oportunidades…

Valeu cada minuto do dia…foi simplesmente sensacional o festival.
Curti demais…Obrigada Meu Lindo por esse dia tão especial em nossas vidas. Te Amo!

While sandy 3.1.2 release is pending official announcement, I decided to drop a collection of my various statements on subject combined in one post.

as3 sandy is shutting down soon

Actually, when haXe port was named as “official branch for Sandy”, the idea was that you could generate AS3 code from haXe version at any point of time, so AS3 branch would not be necessary at all. To this day, however, haXe can not do this properly, so AS3 version was updated by hand, and generally was never in sync with haXe. In 3.1.2, they are finally synchronized, but once haXe branch will go forward, you will have to rely on haXe as3gen (hopefully coming) fix. Why? You see, sandy AS3 3.1.1 was released on 28 March 2009, which is 8 months ago. Given all this time nothing major happened, just a dozen of bugs fixes and few minor features. Then, Thomas said he has no more time for sandy (although did not wrote any official announcement). This leaves me as only active AS3 contributor; my style of contributions to sandy, however, was always random and limited code patches, so I have no intent of “taking over” whole sandy project or anything.

What does this mean to you? In 3.1.2 most of sandy bugs were fixed, so you might want to use it to finish your ongoing sandy projects, if any, but you probably do not want to start new projects using AS3 branch unless you know what you are doing

A cantora Sandy participará do show que Jason Mraz fará em São Paulo neste domingo, 22,  na Chácara do Jockey. Sandy fará um dueto com o cantor na música “Lucky”, cuja versão original conta a cantora Colbie Caillat. A própria Sandy confirmou a informação via Twitter.

Heute.. auf Quelle. Über einen Newsletter habe ich doch geschaut was es die letzten Tage noch so bei Quelle gibt. Ich habe mich für diese Unternehmen nicht wirklich Interessiert da sie A. 5. Monchichi Boy

Monchhichi, die süßen Plüschäffchen sind wieder da. Ihr Markenzeichen ist ihr Schnullerdaumen.

Was die Chinesen sich nicht wieder so einfallen lassen. Nach den ganzen Bleifarben Skandal.. machste einfach nen Warnschild drauf..passt!

But so uh, as quickly as me and Brian’s adventures began (I let a man know where I live for shit sake….that’s like…kind of a big deal) they ended fairly quickly. Before I explain why, I’ll say it was fun having him around. Despite my non-traditional lifestyle, he made me feel tame…domesticated if you will. It was like I had all day to rip and run and act a damn donkey…but when he called, everything stopped and I was on my best behavior. He was verrrrrry intuitive…no matter how well I hid my thoughts or emotions, he was able to figure me out. And he was sensitive!!! Not soft. BUT, I finally met someone more sensitive than me. LOL, it was a learning experience cause I had never dated a Cancer. Hmmm…

But it ended because simply put, Sandy’s male roommate (one of Brian’s best friends) went ape shit and lost his damn mind one day…he all of a sudden had a problem with me, and it pushed me to end my friendship with Sandy…and later with Brian. Chillin though…cause like I said, I never let the wall down so there’s no feeling of loss. Don’t get me wrong, I miss hanging out, and receiving phone calls throughout the day that made co-workers wanna listen in cause they were jealous. I miss his back rubs…and how affectionate he was. Not the typical cake stuff either…the weird gestures that only a girl like me would appreciate. )

Sandy vai dar uma pausa nas gravações de seu primeiro disco solo para participar do show de Jason Mraz neste final de semana, em São Paulo. O cantor é atração do Festival Natura About Us que será no próximo domingo (22), na Chácara do Jóckey.

A cantora vai subir ao palco com Jason para cantar “Lucky”. A versão original da música foi gravada com a cantora Colbie Caillat, que no domingo terá seus vocais substituídos pelos de Sandy.

Em sua página no Twitter, Sandy disse que adorou o convite para cantar no show e que não terá tempo de ensaiar. “Vamos nos encontrar só no dia”, escreveu a cantora. O primeiro disco solo de Sandy está previsto para 2010.

O Festival Natura About Us tem na programação principal o ex-The Police Sting e o cantor pop do hit “I’m Yours”, Jason Mraz. Ao lado das atrações internacionais tocam também Lenine, Carlinhos Brown, Arnaldo Antunes e AfroReggae.

So schnell geht die Zeit vorbei. Sandy ist nun wieder zurück in Deutschland. Am späten Samstag Nachmittag sind Sandy und Uli wieder daheim in Starnberg angekommen. Und nu müssen beide mit den starken Temperaturunterschieden klar kommen. In Dubai waren es bis zu 30 Grad, in der Wüste 35 Grad heiß! Und hier im November sind es zwar milde, aber doch recht kalte 10 Grad, in Bayern wahrscheinlich noch weniger. Sandy ist gerade dabei die Fotos vom Urlaub in ihr Webalbum hochzuladen. In den folgenden Tagen werden es dann wieder mehr Fotos auf die wir uns freuen können.

New Listings:  Total of 10 new listings, 4 condos, 3 PUDs or Planned Unit Developments and 3 Single Family Homes.

Price Changes:  Total of 13 price changes with 12 reductions and 1 increase.  Not sure what kind of market 910 Harold thinks we are in, but a $100K price increase is quite substantial.  The price reduction on 868 Rosewood Circle is a great deal and has been added to our Hot Buy List.  The upgrades on this are incredible and what a great price for like new.  Also the condo on Oriole dropping to $280 and change for 1700 sqft is fantastic.

Escrows:  Only 2 new escrows this week both in Single Family Homes.  Of these new escrows 1011 Apollo goes back into escrow, originally listed upwards of $1.5Mil and now down to $1.1 and change.  Also, 660 Tumbleweed listed at $849K is in a release clause which means they have to sell something else in order to buy this property.  Sometimes a long shot and sometimes it works out GREAT!  Good luck.

Sales:  Total of 4 sales, 1 PUD and 3 Single Family Homes.  We cannot believe it!  907 Tyner actually got $1.1Mil, this house had a crazy floorplan, but some incredible views.  We cannot wait to see what they do with it!  Vision!!!

Market Rejections:  This week 13 properties were rejected by the market.  6 condos, 2 PUDs and 5 Single Family Homes.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, actually a little warm for this time of year.  We took advantage of the sun and relatively calm winds to rake the yard again before the crews come around this week to vacuum up the piles of leaves.  Sandy (the dog in the picture) was thoroughly enjoying the fresh air, wandering from one spot to another in the yard.  At one point while I raked, I realized he was right next to me, so I stopped what I was doing to pay attention to him.  He had the most loving expression on his face as he stood there wagging at me.  It wasn’t a look that said, “I want to play.”  It was just a look that said, “I love you.”  I reached down to stroke his face and kiss his head, all while he continued smiling and wagging.  After a few moments we both thoroughly enjoyed, he turned and went back to wandering in his yard.

If you are not a dog lover, you may not grasp the warmth of Sandy’s love in which I was able to bask even after he moved on.  Perhaps you can more relate it to small children.  There were moments when mine would abruptly leave what they were doing to give me a kiss and a hug, or tell me they loved me.  Then they returned to their play.  I treasured those moments – those spontaneous, heartfelt displays of pure affection with no ulterior motives.

If a human parent (I consider myself Sandy’s parent.) is so permanently touched when their child – or animal – lavishes unasked-for affection on them, think what it means to our heavenly Father when we stop what we’re doing just to give Him our love and complete attention.  Daddy is overjoyed beyond words.  We, His children, are also refilled and refreshed in the giving without strings attached, so we do actually receive, though it wasn’t our aim.  We just came to love our Daddy.  It’s so simple, just like it was such a simple joy for me with Sandy yesterday.

May you find the refreshing in loving your Perfect Father!

(By the way, I would have loved to have a picture of the expression on Sandy’s face as he poured out his love on me yesterday.  He doesn’t like having his picture taken at all, but I wanted a current picture for the post.  This is the best I could do! )
