Hi again. I hope you have all had a great couple of days. Things have been pretty quiet on my end, which is always good!!

After shopping today and with the weather closing in I thought it was a good excuse for a card afternoon. A great sketch has been provided this week over at Friday Sketchers:

So I have used a stamp from the Sarah Kay range, I just love these. I have also used patterned paper from the Bella Range, ribbon is by Green Tara and the flowers I got from spotlight. I have used copics for colouring and also done some faux stitching.

So that is about all I have for you today. I am looking forward to tonight when I catch up with Dolina.

Sarah Kay, altijd lief. Samen met de poes door de tuin. De afdruk heb ik ingekleurd met distress inkt en Dewdrop inkt. De reden dat ik regelmatig verschillende inkten gebruik is eigenlijk meer omdat ik graag met  distress inkt wil werken maar mijn assortiment nog enigzins beperkt is. De kaart heb ik aangekleed met mooie bruine rozen, blaadjes, lintje, plakparels en een metalen charm.

Sarah Kay, always cute. In the garden with the cat. I colored the stamp with distress ink en dewdrop ink. The reason I use different kind of ink is only because I love the distress ink but not have a big collection yet! Put them on my wish list for christmas. On the card I put some brown roses, leaves, ribbon, metalic charm and pearls.

 I can’t believe how many angel cards I have done recently!   I do believe I’ve found a new hobby  …   collecting angel stamps.        This adorable little angel is from Stampavie by Sarah Kay, 2009 Noel Collection, called Noel Peace.

I used my new Pilot Gold Marker extra fine point paint pen on her halo, wings, star and the bottom of the curtain (from my dear friend America)  and added some Golden Rod Stickles also. 

I tried to color the curtain to look like velvet, but red is such a hard color for me to show highlights, so I added some red velvet ribbon to the bottom of the card hoping it would make it look a little more authentic.    The sentiment is from the Papertrey Ink 2008 Holiday Tag Collection.    The paper is from Graphic 45.  (love  it!)

Simpel lief kaartje met Sarah Kay. Ingekleurd met Distress inkt en copic markers. Het plaatje is gemat op bruine cardstock. Deze heb ik met 3d fom vastgeplakt. De lijntjes om de kaart heb ik gemaakt met een glaze pen, bruin. Afgewerkt met een lintje en vintage roosje. Als laatste heb ik het knoopje van haar topje voorzien van een klein pareltje.

Simple sweet card with Sarah Kay. Collered is with Distress Ink and Copic markers. Put brown cardstock under the picture. the lines around the card I made with a Glaze pen. At the end I put a ribbon and a vintage rose on it. As finishing touch I put a pearl on the button of het top.

Gewischt habe ich mit Willow, Lettuce, Cloudy Blue und Aqua von Adirondack !!!!!

I love the Sarah Kay stamps. There is something about these images that makes my heart go all soft and gooey. They are also a great stamp to use the water colour crayons with. Deb who owns Heaven Scent Crafts in Croydon stocks these wonderful stamps, along with some other different stamps. Be sure to check out her website (HeavenScent Crafts) or if you live locally go down and have a look.

Anyhow after my post last night Kirsty asked if I wanted to do this weeks Amy Rysavy sketch.

As I am always up for a challenge, and had a quite house with my husband at work and kids tucked up in bed, I got straight to it. Here is what I came up with:

Supplies: SU DS Paper and cardstock, Sarah Kay stamps.

You can seee that I flipped the sketch around. I am still not 100% sure about the colours I picked but do like the layout of this card.

Bea’s Buch habe ich mit dem Papier bittersweet von Basic Grey bezogen und auch mit einer Sarah Kay dekoriert !!!!

So, und nun kommt Jessi’s Buch *lol* …. es war ein wenig nackig *knirsch* …. daher habe ich es noch kurz mit Heim genommen *lol* !!!!!

Jessi’s Buch habe ich mit dem Papier True Faith von EK Success bezogen und mit dem wunderschönen Flamingo von the Paper Studio dekoriert, und ihn mit Diamond Glaze überzogen !!!!!

This is one of my favourite Sarah Kay stamps and I used it a lot last  year.  It was not until I had finished colouring her with Lyra crayons that I decided to use pink card and I like it, I may make a few more pink cards for Christmas this year.

I used the pop up snowflake punch again but just cut them out instead of having them as pop up snowflakes.

and like the last card I cut out the stamped image and put her on a cuttlebuged background.

Sarah Kay -Karten

Fast jede kennt die niedlichen verträumten Mädchen.

Heute entstehen extrem verspielte Karten mit Stempeln von Sarah Kay.

Nach dem Workshop werden die benutzten Stempel (Clear Stamps) verlost.

Das war mal wieder ein schöner WS ….. und das Würfelglück war mir auch diesmal wieder treu *lol* !!!!

Mel aus Creativ-Forum “Frühlings-Wichteln” habe ich versch. Werke gebastelt. Für mich war ne echte Herausförderung. Denn sie mag keine Magnolia und Hänglars, usw. wie ich gerne hätte. Hmm, Saphira gab mir ein Tips, sie liebte Schmetterling. Also, könnte ich nun was Schönes zaubern.

Fangen wir mit Karte an, da habe ich Euch schon gezeigt und zeige aber nochmal. *frechgrins*

So, nun kommt das Zettelbox mit Halter “Schmetti”. Blume habe ich wieder gehäkelt und selbstgemachte Samtbrads benutzt. Eine schöne 3D-Folie gelbe Schmetti ist zu sehen. Die passende Papier habe ich mit Schneidhebel geschnitten und ich finde es passt alles zusammen. 

Weiter geht mit Teelichter-Halter. Da habe ich die 3D-Folie Schmetti drauf geklebt. Damit nicht so langweilig aussieht.

Jetzt kommt was besonderes und es ich ein Stiftebox mit Fotos. Da habe ich schon für Euch eine Workshop geschrieben. Mein Wichtelkind hat sich so sehr gefreut und auch super gefallen. Denke Sie hat schon ein Platz gefunden, hoffe ich. Die gehäkelte Schmettis ist ein Geschenk von Stern2812. Dankeschön

Ich habe auch drei Bagtopper mit Inhalt gefüllt: Schokobons, gehäkelte Blumen und Charms in Richtung “Musik”. Hier zeige ich komplett in einem.

Ich bin fast vom Stuhl gefallen, als ich den Umschlag geöffnet habe …….

ich bin immer noch damit beschäftigt, diese Karte zu befingern *hihi*  …. und die ganzen Abdrücke zu bestaunen !!!!!

Endlich habe ich heute diese Karte von Cutie Sunday #41 nachgeholt. Diese Karte ist frisch vom Basteltisch entstanden. Denn sie mag keine Magnolia und Hänglar, deswegen habe ich mich für Sarah Kay entschieden. Mal ein anderes Motiv zu nehmen und Abwechslung tut mir auch gut. Ich finde diese Farbkombi Rosa-Grün passt gut für Frühling (leider spät dran, denn ist ja bald wieder Sommer). Ich habe am Anfang erstmal alles zusammen gefunden um eine Karte zu basteln und mein Mann sah von Anfang an einfach schrecklich aus mit diese Farbkombi. Typisch Männer. Als ich diese Karte fertig habe, findet mein Mann nun hübsch. “Happiness always” (aus dem Flohmarkt) habe ich gestern bekommen und auch gleich benutzt. Den Text und das Motiv passt doch gut zusammen. Oder? Okay, gefällt Euch wieder?
