Through bizarre circumstance I ended up watching Saw I through V in about 6 days last week. I didn’t write reviews of them because I considered them to be pretty much irrellevant. Then I realized that Saw VI is out in theaters, however, so I went to see it last weekend and seeing as this one is actually current (don’t mistake that for timely or relevant, just saying it’s actually out in theaters so writing a review seems appropriate) I thought I’d write up something.

The Saw series is a bloody mess, in every sense of the word(s). The first one started out with a relatively intriguing premise, but never really managed to make anything of it beyond unnecessary gore for the sake of unnecessary gore, which is a bit of a shame because I believe there is a level of intelligence (or at least could have been) underlying the premise: Trap people in life-threatening situations and observe just how far they are willing to go to save their life (usually survival requires going through extremely strenuous mental or physical torture, i.e. being required to saw your own foot off to escape.

One might think this premise opened for, if not any sort of humane treatment of the issue, at least an interesting perspective on the human survival instinct. Or perhaps some weird sense of reformation treatment that Jigsaw (the man behind it all) seems to be aiming for. Alas, none of this is had in any of the films, VI included, as it all boils down to gore and nothing else. Jigsaw’s motivation for choosing people is completely arbitrary, the extent of the task they are required to perform to survive is completely arbitrary, and the actual way in which they die is equally so, some being tortured to death and others dying, presumably, in an instant. If any social commentary was meant to be made it was more or less completely idiotic before the words were ever uttered. The uncivilized manner that the apparently civilized Jigsaw executes his whole plan is pretty much bat-shit insane from beginning to end. Everyone seems to have the sloppiest definition I’ve ever heard of what murder is and moral questions are treated about as delicately as if someone witohut fingers wearing huge boxing gloves is trying to thread a tiny thread of logic through an equally tiny needle hoop of moral questions.

I could go on at length about how truly ridiculous, inconsistent, gratuitous and blatantly hypocritical the entire Saw series and every character within it is. That said, while Saw I started on a pretty average note and the series has regressed steeply and consistently into awful from there, a fall ending with the absolutely uncomprehensible Saw IV and the slightly less awful but still migrane-inducing Saw V. I could not expect Saw VI to be any better. However, it is.

The series has been attempting to have a plot outside the traps since day one (which I have consistently maintained is a huge mistake, as I have not cared about any of the plots at all as they all involve completely generic cop characters doing completely generic cop things and reaching no end whatsoever) and it does so here as well. Magically, unbelievably, this time I cared. Weirder still, the plot involves the same characters as IV and V (although a lot of these die in their respective films, including Jigsaw himself who surely died 3 films ago yet still lingers on through the magic of the flashback) and follows those plots, and still I cared. It’s hard to say what did it. The plot is not genius, it is not impressive in any way, but it is completely followable and pretty much devoid of logical inconsistencies and characters whose motivations are at best hypocritical and at worst completely arbitrary. Saw VI is, to put it simply, completely acceptable which considering how horrible the last few films have been is a bit of an achievement.

The traps are also pretty clever, relying more on psychological terror than gratuitous gore and following one character in a pretty logical manner most of the time. A lot of the issues are still there, incompetent editing, incredibly seizure-inducing camerawork and pretty much every thing one could mention is probably further away from perfect than it is from terrible. It is not a particularly enjoyable film, but I am willing to say that it is probably the first Saw film to actually make a shred of sense. If only they had managed to do this with the first film, where the premise was original and fresh and not worn down by years of rehashes of the same plot points, they might have had a memorable horror film on their hands. As it stands, it is pretty much just watchable.

Este estupido comentario no contiene spoilers, sin embrago da algunas pistas sobre la cronologia de la pelicula.

Ser la sexta parte de una película no es fácil, ser la sexta parte de Saw es una responsabilidad muy grande, responsabilidad de la que esta película victoriosa. Y es que a pesar de sus fallas, esta película recupera la escencia que se notaba algo perdida desde la cuarta parte y cierra casi perfectamente un ciclo en la saga. Se podría decir que es similar a Saw III (para mi, la mejor) en el aspecto de cerrar círculos y despejar dudas que pudieron haber quedado abiertas incluso desde antes de que Jigsaw pusiera a prueba su primer victima.

Los flashbacks son muchos en cantidad, pero todos son importantes dentro de la saga. Ya sea para entender como la obra de Jigsaw fue tomando forma y entender que desde un principio su obra es un concepto que estallo con la muerte de su hijo y se retorció con su enfermedad. O para mostrarnos la relación entre personajes que creíamos que no la tenían, una relación de odio, desconfianza, celos o indiferencia que hay entre los protagonistas.

El tema de las trampas, estas se desarrollan dentro de la línea argumental “principal”, son mas moralistas que en las películas anteriores y al involucrar a mas de una persona en peligro de muerte se muestra la competencia entre ellas, llegando a matar o dejar morir para salvar la propia vida y la voluntad de vivir se convierte en un constante grito de suplica por no ser la siguiente victima del juego.

El enfrentamiento entre los jugadores convierte al asesino en una especie de testigo, obligando a que ellos tomen la decisión y hagan el sacrificio final para poder vivir, una de las bases de la fiolosofia de Jigsaw.

En conclusión esta película cierra perfectamente la segunda trilogía y podría decirse que cierra completamente la obra de Jigsaw.  Incluso a tal grado de que el, podría dejar de ser el protagonista absoluto de las siguientes secuelas.

Para mi, se lleva los 9 pezones.

A escasas 3 semanas (nótese el sarcasmo) de que “El Juego Del Miedo 6” fuera estrenada en solamente parte de la republica mexicana, mañana viernes 13 de noviembre por fin llegara a los cines de Monterrey. El estreno ya es oficial, pues asi esta anunciada en las paginas de Cinepolis y MMCinemas para esa fecha.

Así que a partir de este fin de semana podremos disfrutar de las nuevas trampas y los giros de tuerca de la película que cierra la segunda trilogía de la saga.

¿Lo bueno de este viernes 13? Aparte del ya comentado (y muy excitante) estreno de Saw VI; es que “Los Abrazos Rotos” también podrá verse desde este fin de semana en los cines de todo México.

Bueno aprovechando que acaba de ser la noche de las brujas, Halloween, voy a hacer un pequeño ránking con las 10 películas de terror que más me han gustado a mi. Las películas que son una saga o una trilogía las meteré en el mismo pack, porque así tendremos más variedad, sino con dos o tres títulos ya tendremos la lista.

Me gustaría que enviéis vuestras propuestas para ampliar la lista y también ver películas para ampliar mi perspectiva cinematográfica. Bueno empezamos:

1- Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV y Saw V. Cada una con su encanto y con sus juegos enfermizos.

2- REC y REC 2. Un producción española que pone los pelos de punta.

3- Boogeyman. Un film que juega con los miedos infantiles que todos tubimos (la primera).

4- El exorcista. Todo un clásico.

5- Llamada perdida y El pozo. Las películas de The Ring pero en su original japonés.

6- Destino Final. La prueba que la muerte siempre nos pillará (la primera).

7- The Ring y The Ring 2. Me gustaron más las versiones japonesas pero ambas cuatro son la leche.

8- Tiburón. Esta provocó que jamás me bañase tranquilo en la playa.

9- La matanza de texas. Una sangrienta película no apta para los impresionables.

10- Señales. No es una película plenamente de terror, pero cuando el alien aparece en la fiesta de cumpleaños… Cada vez que lo recuerdo un escalofrío recorre mi espinazo.

Espero que mi ránking os guste y ayude que tengáis buenas noches de terror acompañados o solos, lo que prefiráis. Espero vuestras propuestas para ampliar la lista.

After seeing how confused and convoluted the Saw franchise had gotten after the lacklustre effort that was Saw V, I didn’t think it was possible for them squeeze another one.  Clearly, I underestimated the writers, who not only managed to pump out another 91 minutes of torture porn and link it to the rest of the series, but also made it surprisingly good.  Well, relatively speaking anyway.

Saw VI picks up where the last one took off, and like most film franchises that have lasted this long, assume some level of prior knowledge.  There are some flashbacks, but for the most part you’re left to rely on your memory to recall what the heck happened in the last two or three films.  And if your memory is anything like mine, you’re likely going to be struggling to make the ‘jigsaw’ pieces fit.

Thankfully, Saw VI has a plot of its own, so it doesn’t really matter if the central storyline running through the franchise doesn’t click.  Needless to say, there’s the mysterious, torturous ‘game’ with a number of unwilling (albeit deserving) participants caught up in a series of moral dilemmas, ingenious but gruesome contraptions, the obligatory plot twist, and of course, copious amounts of blood and guts.

That said, while the whole affair was rather predictable, Saw VI somehow managed to stay afloat.  It would have been very easy for the film to have crashed and burned, but first-time director Kevin Greutert and regular Saw franchise writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan made the film much more intelligent and suspenseful than one would have expected.  However, that doesn’t change the fact that you still know what to expect, and that’s what ultimately prevents Saw VI from being anything more than an above average episode of a declining franchise.

So, where does that leave my review of the movie?  At the end of the day, Saw VI was more of the same old stuff we’ve been seeing since the very first one back in 2004.  If you’ve seen the others in the series, you’ll likely be numb by now and the film just won’t have the same impact.  On the other hand, if this is your first of the franchise, you won’t have a clue about the elaborate back story.  Either way, it’s neither particularly good nor particularly bad.

Well, it’s that time of year again. No, not Halloween, it’s time for another installment of the Saw series. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Darby, do we really need six of these movies? And the answer… These are not really movies. Okay, I know I can’t see you reading this, but I’m willing to bet most of you have a puzzled look on your face right now. Let me explain. The Saw movies are more like a TV show. Instead of getting twenty – four one hour episodes over the course of a year, you get one two hour movie every year around Halloween. Believe me, I wish that were the case for a few TV series out there. Now, the first Saw movie was fantastic! And, Saw II… Well, that one was a train wreck. But luckily Saw III was able to save the series, and it also started the ongoing storyline that is now the Saw franchise. The only problem with that is, if you haven’t seen the previous installments, you may be a little lost on who’s who. In the interest of full disclosure, I must tell you that I personally know the writers that took over the series from Saw IV to Saw VI. So, with that being said, I will not be pulling any punches; but this was my favorite of their three installments. I think the most impressive thing about their writing, is their ability to write movies for a main character that died three movies ago. Sorry if I ruined it for you, but come on it’s the sixth movie! It’s been six years, why haven’t you watched these movies yet? Getting back to comparing Saw to a TV series, I think the best comparison would be LOST. Much like LOST, the storyline is always being moved forward by telling you about things from the past you didn’t know before. That style of story telling definitely sets the Saw series apart from the other slasher flicks out there. Also, they  have stepped up the gore over the years. A friend of mine was saying last weekend, that the thing he liked most about the first Saw movie, was that they didn’t really show the gore. You thought they were going to, but it was the thought of it that seemed to bother you the most. In the later installments they just seem to show you more and more, leaving less to the imagination. With all of this said, I think the Saw series still works. I’m not sure how much longer they’re going to be able stretch this series out. If I didn’t know that Saw VII was already written, I might have thought this could have been the last one, but I guess we’re just going to have to wait and see what’s next.

I should like this franchise.  I mean, it’s essentially about a wacko, named Jigsaw, who kidnaps the shitheads of the world and places them in “tests” that they have to escape out of to stay alive.  Jigsaw is essentially making these people thin themselves from the herd.  It’s pretty brilliant.  And you know what?  I loved the first SAW.  I own it on DVD and consider it to be a very inventive, gory, fun yet disturbing flick with a great twist at the end.  I even gave SAW II a chance, curious to see how they would expand the plot, and that’s where I turned on the franchise.  They didn’t expand the plot at all, the only difference is that Jigsaw has all his “victims” locked in a house.  Lame.  This franchise has gone from creative to outright insulting.  This franchise has gone from creative to outright insulting.  I don’t even fault Lionsgate for continuing to put these movies out.  If people are still dumb enough to go see six of essentially the same movie, that’s their own dumbass fault.  Lionsgate is in the business to make money, and they make buttloads off this franchise.  Well at least they did until this weekend when SAW VI was trounced by Paranormal Activity, an actual fresh take on the horror genre — what a novel fucking concept.  Maybe American movie watching audiences are finally wising up…probably not though.

Frankly SAW, you’ve worn out your welcome, and your constant rehashing of the same story, with new ways to make a person sever their own limbs has become nothing more than gratuitous torture porn.  As an avid horror film fan my whole life, it hurts my heart a little bit, but I feel compelled to thin you from the herd.

In a world where the SAW franchise didn’t exist to induce vomiting in theaters:

• Cary Elwes career would never have been reinvigorated…oh wait…

• Studios would actually have to produce quality horror films to compete for the Halloween movie season, instead of surrendering in defeat to the mighty SAW franchise.
• HOSTEL VI would be in theaters right now (I fucking hate you Eli Roth, except in Inglorious Basterds, you were the shit in that, just please stop directing shitty horror movies please.)

DOOOOOOOOOUCHE!

• James Wan and Leigh Whannell, the creators of the SAW franchise, would be waiting tables at The Olive Garden and Chili’s, respectively, instead of being multi-millionaires doing lines of cocaine off of hot model’s asses.
• Tobin Bell would go back to sitting in his windowless van outside elementary schools.

Interested in some free candy little girl???

• Danny Glover’s career would never have been reinvigorated…oh wait…

• Horror movies would go back to being scary instead of just disgusting.

I wish that the disappointing opening weekend of SAW VI would spell death for the franchise, but because those movies cost six dollars to produce, and they have already started pre-production on SAW VII, the end appears to be far from over.

But one has to have dreams right?

Sebenernya rada bingung nih mau nge-review nya gimana ya enaknya… Hehehe.

Gua tulis aja sinopsisnya ya:
Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy.  However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.

Pendek banget ya. Hahaha. Tapi ya kalo yang namanya Saw emang susah mau diceritain banyak-banyak, yang ada jadi spoiler semua dah…

Yang pasti kayak film-film Saw yang lain, ceritanya ada 2 garis besar. 1 cerita yang bersambung dari Saw yang pertama, yaitu tentang Jigsaw dan penerus-penerusnya, dan 1 lagi cerita yang gak bersambung yaitu tentang korban-korbannya.

Buat yang emang ngikutin serian Saw dari pertama, ya kudu mesti harus nonton yang ke-6 ini. Soalnya ada banyak juga cerita-cerita kilas balik yang tadinya kita gak tau dan baru dikasih tau sekarang ini.

Buat yang gak ngikutin Saw dari pertama, jangan khawatir. Emang sih lebih baik nonton dulu dari yang pertama biar lebih seru. Tapi gak nonton dari pertama juga gak apa kok, tetep seru ngeliatin jebakan-jebakan yang sadis-sadis itu. Hehehe.

Bener-bener salut gua buat yang bikin film ini. Ya baik ceritanya maupun juga jebakan-jebakan sadisnya itu. Kok bisa kepikir gitu ya? Gua ceritain 1 jebakannya aja ya. Jadi ada 2 orang yang ditangkep. 1 cewek dan 1 cowok. Mereka sama-sama di kurung di ruangan yang bersebelahan. Ditengah-tengah antara mereka ada saluran yang nyambung ke timbangan gitu. Nah mereka ini di kepalanya dikasih semacam helm yang dalam 1 menit bakal nge-press kepala mereka sampe pecah. Cuma salah satu dari mereka yang bisa selamat. Caranya? Disitu disediain 2 pisau (1 kecil, 1 gede (pisau daging gitu)), dan mereka disuruh motong bagian tubuhnya sendiri untuk dimasukin ke saluran yang udah disediain. Dalam 1 menit, siapa yang berhasil motong bagian tubuhnya lebih berat, dia yang menang. Yang kalah ya berarti bakal mati karena kepalanya pecah. Yang cowok karena gemuk, dia motong perutnya. Seiris demi seiris. Yang cewek, motong tangannya. Tadinya cuma mau motong sekitar separuh tangan pake piso yang kecil, tapi karena udah mepet waktunya akhirnya dia mutusin motong tangannya lebih panjang lagi langsung pake piso yang gede! Dan adegan motong memotong ini diliatin banget lho!! Asli seru banget!! Sampe nahan napas gua. Hahaha. Serrruuuuu….

Puaaasss banget dah nontonnya… Hehehe *duh kok gua jadi berasa kayak psikopat ya *

Ending nya juga bagus. Seperti biasa lah selalu ada twist nya. Sebagian emang gua udah nebak, tapi sebagian lagi enggak. Seneng kalo nonton film yang ending nya gak ketebak.

Jadi kesimpulannya, film ini baguusss banget!! Tegangnya bener-bener dapet! Sampe beberapa kali gua kudu nahan napas. Gua kasih nilai 9 dari 10! Ayo… pada nonton yaaaa!!

PS. Sayangnya di box office kali ini cuma bertengger di nomor 2, itupun gross revenue nya cuma 14-an juta (bandingin ama Saw V taun lalu yang gross revenue pas opening weekend nya langsung 40-an juta), kalah ama Paranormal Activity. Duh gua juga jadi penasaran nih pengen nonton Paranormal Activity. Gile aja nih film. Cost nya cuma 11 ribu, sekarang revenue-nya udah 65 juta??? Hoki banget dah yang bikin itu film ya…

PS lagi. Yah moga-moga minggu depan Saw VI semakin sukses dah di box office, walaupun kayaknya bakal kalah ama This Is It nya MJ ya…. Doh kayaknya taun ini banyak saingan nih… Hehehe. Tapi ya mari kita doakan bersama dah ya biar Saw VI bisa sukseeeessss…

The popular horror franchise returns once again with “Saw VI”. Has this series run out of steam? Or, does a new director breath new life into the film?

The Good: Despite a change to new director Kevin Greutert, this is one of the best Saw films yet. They ratchet up the gore level once again, and tie up some loose ends quite nicely. For once, there may have been more questions about previous films answered than new ones proposed. The characters are much more…human. I found myself rooting for people to survive much more than in previous films. Also, I loved the back story of William Eastman, one of the main characters. I won’t go into details because I don’t want to spoil it, but this film does the best in creating genuine anger toward its “victim”.

The film explains more of jigsaw’s back story and information about Hoffman and Amanda. There’s also a character returning that you might not expect.

As always, there are some fun and interesting twists and turns, although one is more predictable than in previous installments. The ending sets up a very interesting premise for “Saw VII” if they make one (which they will).

The Bad: After all, this is a “Saw” film, and just like in “Saw” one through five there are problems. The acting is spotty in places, and lines come off as unintentionally hilarious. It does require a big suspension of disbelief in parts, and you can tell this is director’s Greutert’s first film. The gore is disturbing in parts, and the ending doesn’t seem quite as satisfying as in previous films.

The Final Word: If you like “Saw”, this is easily one of the best ones of the series. If you hate it, this won’t change your mind. That being said, “Saw VI” was an enjoyable film, and proved once again why the series is a cut above the normal “horror porn” films that are out there.

La noticia ha saltado hoy en todos los medios de comunicación, ya hayan sido revistas, televisiones o periódicos. Y es que el estreno de la nueva película de la franquicia “Saw” estaba previsto para el día 23 de octubre, y así se anuncia incluso en los carteles del  metro, sin embargo parece que “alguien” va a retenerla hasta nuevo aviso.

El estreno de “Saw VI” en España ya estaba previsto en más de 300 salas de ámbito nacional, pero no podrá verse. No obstante, la Comisión Calificadora del Ministerio de Cultura le ha otorgado la calificación de X que según la Ley solo reciben las “películas de carácter pornográfico o que realicen apología de la violencia”.

Es la primera vez en nuestro país que se cataloga a una película como X en el apartado especifico de la violencia. Lo malo es que muchos que esperaban pasar la tarde del viernes metido en el cine viendo una película de las películas más esperadas del mes, ahora solo podrán hacerlo en los cines catalogados como X, que en España solo hay ocho.

El esquema se ha repetido igual en las cinco películas anteriores de la saga: sangre, violencia, torturas, mutilaciones, miembros fracturados, escenas imposibles… todo ello para probar la pericia de aquellos que, bien escogidos, jugaran al juego que nuestro maestro tiene preparados para ellos. Y la pregunta es obvio ¿por qué catalogarla de X? de toda la vida las únicas películas con ese distintivo habían sido las de contenido pornográfico, y la viendo que la violencia ha pasado ya por cinco fases ¿es necesaria está medida?

A mí personalmente me encanta esta saga, tiene sus mas y sus menos, pero dentro del género es una de las mejores que he visto. Espero que a pesar de todo, pronto cambien de parecer y se pueda estrenar en las salas de todo el país, porque sino las perdidas serán increíblemente grandes. Despues de mucho mucho mucho tiempo, regreso con excelentes noticias (al menos para la gente de Mèxico) la sexta pelicula de la saga “El Juego Del Miedo” ya tiene fecha de estreno oficial en nuestro pais y en algunos de Latinoamerica.

Asi que, la fecha de estreno para “El Juego Del Miedo 6 (Saw VI) en  México es el proximo 30 de Octubre del 2009, Gracias a Toxeri por avisar que la fecha fue movida una semana antes, al 23 de Octubre, y esperemos que ahora si sea estreno simultaneo en todo el pais.

In Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, Benz gets to play the ultimate female badass, FBI agent Eunice Bloom. All Saints Day isn’t the only buzzworthy item on Benz’s resume; Dexter just kicked off its fourth season and the tension is higher than ever. Rita, Dexter and the kids may appear to be the perfect family, but Dexter’s dark passenger is sure to stir up some drama.

Marcus Dunstan si Patrick Melton vor scrie scenariul pentru Saw 7. Anuntul vine cu cateva luni inaintea lansarii Saw 6 , regizat de Kevin Greutert, pe 23 octombrie. Pentru Dunstan si Melton nu e mare problema sa mai scrie un Jigsaw, din moment ce tot ei au scris partile 4,5,6. Cei doi au experienta in domeniul seriilor horror, scriind si doua sequeluri pentru Feast. Saw 7 va fi lansat in octombrie 2010, in preajma Halloween-ului.

…That nursing home smell? Yes…that is what I smell like, and what my car smells like too. It’s kind of like that doctor’s office and dentist’s office smell, except not as bad, it doesn’t make you puke. Well, it’s what I get for working at a nursing home.

…That hard-boiled, dyed, egg smell? Yes…that is what I will be a parent of for the next week. Tomorrow, I get to meet my egg “baby”. I hope it’s a boy, and I hope it can fly. Haha, just kidding. I have to make it a baby book, and you’ll be seeing pictures up soon here and on facebook of my little egg. Name ideas, unique ones, anyone? If it’s a girl, I’m thinking Adeline. If it’s a boy, I’m thinking Maverick.

…That clean house, shampooed carpets smell? Yes…that is what my house smells like. Blech. I hate the smell of carpet shampoo, ever since my mom shampooed the basement carpet and then I watched Saw I down there and then got sick, had nightmares, and stayed home from school (while puking) for a week. Did you hear their coming out with a Saw VI? Lame. V should’ve ended it. Jeez, people, new ideas, much?

…That—well, enough with the smells (Actually, I just can’t think of anymore!). I have to be to work at the nursing home in 50 minutes. My dad’s coming back from MN today, and I go back to school tomorrow. It’s been a nice weekend, I guess. Long though. I’ve finished all my homework (and late work!) and made my egg it’s bed so I can take it home tomorrow. It’s a pretty cute bed, I took tons of kleenexe’s and cotton balls and tape, along with a cut-up red and pink dyed t-shirt and some glue to make it. Pictures of that up tomorrow, after my camera’s done charging.

Hace unos días le comentaba a mi amigo imaginario el hecho de que no subiría nada de Saw 6 hasta que una foto, o algo de información sobre Amanda Young (la asesina favorita de este blog) salieran a la luz.

Hoy (o ayer, no se, he estado “estudiando”), nos mostraron la primer foto de la aprendiz de Jigsaw, que si mis cálculos son correctos pertenece a un flashback de la tercer película… Y se ve algo asustada y con rastros de sangre (de alguien mas seguramente) en la cara.

What was I thinking? I actually sat down and watched Saw V the other day. All the way through, too.

And yes, I have seen the other four as well, although I could tell you next to nothing about any of them. I think I must have been trying to punish myself for having been stupid enough to watch the first four. I can’t think of any other explanation.

Yes, it was rubbish. No, it had no redeeming features whatsoever. I just hope to God they don’t make a sixth…

Si creian que el anterior poster de Saw VI era bueno, hay que darle un vistazo al nuevo cartel con el que la pelicula se esta promocionando.  Se trata de una imagen mucho mas “estilizada” que la que nos mostraban en las primera peliculas, aunque eso si, menos sangrienta.
La frase: “Confia en el”, lo que Jigsaw pedia a todas sus victimas.

A chaque SAW, une nouvelle infirmière déjantée débarque, et une nouvelle campagne de pub originale est lancée.

Celle de cette année crée par Ignition Print et photographiée par Tim Palen bénéficie d’un esthétisme finement travaillé. Une oeuvre d’art gore délicatement tendance!!

Le costume a été crée par The Blonds (David & Philipe Blond), tout droit sortis du monde fashion de NY. A leur actif, les costumes de Beyoncé, Katy Parry et de Rihanna…

Le poster de la campagne 2008:

Este, como en todos los años anteriores no podía faltar el “Blood Drive”, la buena obra que realizan los promotores y sobre todo fans de Saw, que consiste en donar unidades de sangre a la Cruz Roja, que recordando en post anterior se llevaban recaudando casi 18,000 litros hasta la tercera parte de la saga.

En esta ocasión la sexy enfermera (o enfermeras) fue modificada por una un tanto caricaturesca y hasta cierto punto intrigante enfermera de senos firmes que parece sacada de alguna película de Burton.

Un ingenioso poster (bueno, 2 ) para una generosa idea.

Tercer post consecutivo de Saw, y es que hoy ayer a exactamente 3 meses de su estreno nos muestran el primer tráiler de la sexta parte de la saga.

Un trailer muy parecido al que pudimos ver hace 2 años con Saw 4, la cámara se mueve por una serie de pasillos en los que se ven (sin apreciarse completamente) en monitores y pantallas de televisión parte de los juegos, que como ya nos confirma el video serán 6.

En espera del siguiente, uno en el que al menos hayan mas imágenes de la película que pasillos computarizados.

Las primeras impresiones que Saw 6 me esta dejando son muy buenas, ayer con el poster oficial en que se nos mostraba parte de la trampa del carrusel, y hoy con el video que nos muestra el funcionamiento (o parte de el) de dicha trampa.

De mas esta decir que esta idea me parece original, ya que el jugador (un personaje llamado William) tiene que decidir quien vive y quien muere, enfrentándose a las suplicas y lamentos de cada uno de ellos.
