I love ScanDisk. Onestamente, devo fare.

I love ScanDisk. Onestamente, devo fare.

Come si usa in Windows 98/98SE/Me:

1) Chiudere tutti i programmi.

2) Fare clic sul pulsante "Start".

3) Vai su "Programmi"

4) Scorrere fino a "Accessori"

5) Fare clic su"Utilità di sistema"

6) Selezionare "ScanDisk"

5) Cliccate su "Check Now" in "Controllo errori" sezione.

6) Controllare la "Correggi automaticamente gli errori"

7) Fare clic su "OK" per l'esecuzione.

Opzioni Testing in Windows 98/98SE/ME:

Opzioni Testing in Windows 2000/XP/Vista:

É a melhor solução.

ScanDisk checks and repairs file systems and bad data clusters. ScanDisk is a system utility which is bundled with and all Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
Scandisk was programmed to check the integrity of the hard disk drive to ensure that there are no significant issues which could corrupt your computer data. It is used to scan your hard disk for errors caused by improper shutdowns, viruses, etc.
It was first seen in MS-DOS version 6.2. Previous versions of MS-DOS had only a very basic, purely text-based program called CHKDSK. From Windows 95, SCANDISK added a GUI (Graphical User Interface).
The disk scanning utility bundled with Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP is also called CHKDSK and has the ability to check NTFS disk drives. From Windows 2000 onwards, it has been integrated with Disk Properties under the title of “error-checking”.
The ScanDisk utility is owned by Microsoft, which originally purchased it from Norton (now Symantec).
Scandisk can scan and correct errors in your computer and can fix damage caused to critical Windows files, thereby improving system performance.
You can find Scan Disk in Windows 95 and 98 by going to Start Menu. Afterwards, go to Programs/Accessories/System Tools/ScanDisk.
In Windows 2000 and other later versions of Windows, Scan Disk has been given the title “Error Checking” under disk properties.
In order to run Scan Disk in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, you need to press the Start button and click on My Computer. On the list of disk drives, select the drive you want to scan. Then, click on the File menu and choose Properties. On the Tools tab page, click on the Check Now button. As a final note, you should ideally use the Scan Disk feature once a month in order to ensure that your PC is free from errors.

Windows annoying so called “feature” is CHKDSK being automatically being run whenever you don’t shut down your computer properly. You get the blue colored screen that says “Checking checking file system on C ( can be any hard disk drive in your PC) .

Looks something like this

Simply pressing any key would stop CHKDSK from running but when you restart your computer, you’ll get this prompt again. Sometimes even after letting CHKDSK scan the drive that it wants to, CHKDSK would still automatically run at next boot!

Here’s how to disable or stop CHKDSK at Windows bootup.

Open Start–>Run–>cmd then type the following command and press ENTER.

chkntfs /x c: (replace C by other drive letters)

Caution: There are some experts believe that it is better not to disable CHKDSK from scanning your hard drive.

If your system is checking Scan Disk after every restart then it means some of your system files have been corrupted. Main reasons for this error are
•Improper Shut Down
•Not letting Scan Disk to be completed at first time
•Any of your External Hard Disk and Portable Drive connected to your system may cause this error after every boot.

Want to create fake windows errors ?

Here we have given the simplest solution to solve this error.
•Click on Start and choose Run
•In Run menu, type “cmd” (without double quotes” to go to the DOS prompt.
•Then type “chkntfs /x drive letter” (without double quotes) For example :chkntfs /x c:. You have to type as given only if your system runs Scan Disk for C drive.
•If your system runs for C and D drives you have to type chkntfs /x c: d:
This command will modify your system registry. Just navigate to the following path to check the correction.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\Session Manager

The default value is for BootExecute is autocheck autochk *. When you use the /x switch, it will add a /k parameter prior to the asterisk. The /k parameter excludes volumes from being checked during system boot up. After fiishing the above command just restart your system, your trouble will be fixed.

Lost Clusters on HDD

Frequently running Scandisk or chkdsk can help save your data. Hard drives can develop bad clusters over time, and those utilities can help retrieve corrupt data, and also prevent data from ever being written to those bad sectors again. Running these disk management tools will help reduce crashes and further loss of data. They may also help make you aware of impending hard drive failure.

Lost clusters in a lost chain

A typical error, such as “lost cluster in a lost chain” indicates that data is present but there are no pointers pointing to that data. You can run chkdsk to attempt to recover the files, or you can simply repair the errors by selecting N when prompted for action. This will correct the errors but not save the data. Or you can press Y, which will attempt the associate a folder to that data. If a folder cannot be found, it will save the data in a folder labeled .xxx. The “xxx” is a sequential number, so the folder will probably be named .000 if the folder does not exist.

ScanDisk
This utility exists in Windows 9.x systems, such as Windows 98 and ME. To access this utility, navigate to START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS, then scandisk. You will be given the option to do a Thorough Scan, which is recommended as it physically scans the surface of the drive for errors. You can also specify if you want the errors corrected automatically, which is normally fine unless you want to attempt to recover the data.

Chkdsk
Chkdsk is available in Windows 2000 and Windows XP. To run a chkdsk, go to My Computer and right-click the drive you want to scan, then select Properties. Under the Tools tab, you will see a section for Error Checking. Click Check Now. Again, you will be given options Automatically fix the errors, or to attempt to recover the data. You may be prompted to reboot so this utility can run before Windows loads. This is normal.

Disco duro hace ruidos inusuales.

Being an exhibition of photography and camera increasingly demanding both in terms of capacity and speed of reading and writing data, nobody was surprised that they presented a series of memory cards within this new framework that is being held in Las Vegas. What strikes us most of these ads is the incredible storage capacity that is being achieved with this type of flash memory, which means that every day we have more clear that the future does not pass storage systems such as Blu-ray or HD DVD, but has fully flash memory and storage online. I am more with a TV slot for memory cards or disk SSD high-capacity integrated and Internet connection to download content with an obsolete player Blu-Ray or HD DVD. Sorry, but that is what I believe will happen.

Having said that we are introducing the new SDHC Sandisk card with a capacity of 32 GB and SDHC Class 4 and 16 GB of Kingston. As the second is less impressive, we turn to a series comentaros data model Sandisk.

The new card belongs to the range Ultra II of the mark, is a 4-speed and ensures working with her 15 MB / s, which makes it ideal for camcorders that use SDHC cards to store content AVCHD format, or to the new digital SLR already are moving to this type of card as a storage device.

Will cost about $ 350 and will go on sale in April along with a USB card reader.
