Heads Will Roll says…

It’s time to get your credit cards ready and get officially excited as Perth’s 2010 Summadayze line-up is announced and the presale begins September 9 at 9am. Considering how fast Fake Blood and Sinden, who are both on this line-up, sold out Villa expect tickets to this festival to be very hard to come by in a very short time. If you’re regular reader of Heads Will Roll you may have noticed how excited we are about seeing 2manydjs “live show”, click here and here to possibly understand where we are coming from. Also on the line-up is James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) in DJ mode, which means disco to the max. Carl Cox is making good use of his Australian residency, Sharam (Deep Dish) is sure to impress. Eddie Halliwell should make Perth’s trance community stock up on their novelty paraphernalia. The chin strokers will be pretending they aren’t impressed, but secretly wetting themselves for Danny Howells, Josh Wink and Nic Fanciulli. The blog kids have Treasure Fingers, Riton, Fake Blood and Sinden. As this is just the first line-up you can expect more artists to be announced in the coming months, hopefully the Proxy is one of those included.

“I juni månad återuppstånden”, som det står i TAjTs heliga skrift. Vi på TAjT börjar vädra en fantastisk sommar med stora mängder elektronisk musik. Detta gör oss så pass exalterade att jag, Surikaten, bestämde mig för att återuppta bloggandet. Låt oss se om TAjTs övriga direktörer även de tar upp stafettpinnen.

Om ungefär en månad åker halva TAjT-styrkan ner till Tyskland för att hänga på mycket lovande festivalen Melt! för första gången. Och om endast två veckor är det ju dags för våra polare på Arvikafestivalen att skapa stordåd i den värmländska skogen.

Tänkte viga denna återkomst på bloggscenen åt en man (eller mus?) som vi har bloggat om ett flertal gånger. Nämligen extremt hajpade, feta och extremt begåvade Deadmau5! yep, it’s time to resurface some remixes of Justin’s 2007 hit, What Goes Around.. Comes Around from his (in my opinion) best album yet, FutureSex / LoveSounds. the Wookie mix is nothing special in my opinion, but Paul Van Dyk does a pretty good job with his one. Junkie XL does a decent job, while Mysto & Pizzi’s remix is way hot, but it’s Sebastien Leger who makes the best one, – it almost makes me cream when i hear it, no joke. enjooooy.

This month I have a mixtape packed with nice tracks!!! Included in the mix is my upcoming tracks Era and Somewhere wich artwork you can see in the previous post!

Other than that I had to put in some tracks there has been some buzz around lately like Leave The World Behind wich is one of those big tracks that does´nt come too often anymore and the upcoming monster of Mark Knight & Funkagenda “Good Times”. Tristan Garner provides with a very uplifting edit of John Dahlbäcks Pyramid wich should rock any dancefloor played on!!!! More french with Sebastién Legers booty of Daft Punk´s One More Time and Seb Drums, Tom Geiss & Eric G “Funky Beep” making a lot of buzz at this years WMC in Miami so one to watch!!!

I´m happy to announce that my Era EP will come out on Emotive Sounds around mid may and will contain Era and Unrra and will have a follow up remix pack from some pretty well known names!
