This is a Fawn Mainstore

So a good way to pass time in SL that gets exposure to lots of different creators and meet some new people is to participate in some of the Gridwide Hunts. So are tens of thousands of people, and tens of thousands of sims, and from my observation very few of us see more than a hundred or so of either on much regular basis. The gift quality varies, the difficulty in finding hunt objects is also wide variety (some i just give up on if they are too hard) but overall is a good passtime.

Anyhow I’m on one of the gridwide hunts and so is best to dress for low lag. Winter weather though, well sometimes you don’t fit in so good.
Main keys for low lag attire is detatch most or all of your attachments especially the high prim/scripted hair, jewelry and footwears. Simple things work best.
Avatar Rendering Cost: 1118 (so i could make less by going barefoot and using system hair but have to draw the line somewhere with some concession to still being presentable)

Another trick of grid hunters is one borrowed from builders, that is use of Wireframe view, which is like giving you x-ray vision. Mileage will vary depending on build, if is lot of details then is not much better in wireframe than not, but sometimes helps find things hidden.

Anyhow that’s how SL looks in Wireframe, and this place the clue didn’t help me enough and wireframe didn’t reveal the stocking I was looking for so I moved on to next hunt location. Maybe later I come back and try again.

Ok.. I’ve had these outfits for about a week now even though I’ve been faithfully blogging every day (I think lol).   So much fashion, so little time.  So it’s time to show you the rest of the outfits I got from Zipz.

These two outfits are Alor Dark on the left and Zephthys Red on the right.  Both outfits come with two skirt options – short and long.  The hand drawn ruffle detail on Alor is amazing.  The long skirt is almost Gorean with it’s long strips of fabric hanging from metal rings attached to a leather belt.  I had a difficult time fitting the skirt, and it won’t work with some AO’s but it is so sexy and gorgeous.  The jacket layer can also be worn with a different panty/pants layer to give a nice, long shirt that extends over the left hip and buttock, while keeping the other side bare.  Finally, you can also wear it without any skirts but with another pants layer that give you a long top and booty shorts effect – warning, your butt will be mostly bare.

Zephthys comes with two skirt options, plus two pants options, so that you can wear it as a pants outfit without the skirts.  I love the richness of the red.  I had to put on my favorite shoes – Adam n Eve’s Bien Fait Victoriana – the red is a perfect match.  The hair is a cool find – Rock Candy has some freebie hair upstairs – use the teleporter.

This is Zephyr and it also comes with several options – a flirty, short skirt or a choice of two types of pants.  The leather straps and metal details are so well done.  I’m wearing the Black Friday earrings from [glow] studio.  You should slap yourself if you didn’t grab these – they have a wonderful sparkle to them – and the set included a lovely scarf with the same sparkly effect.

This last outfit is called Arache and it comes with three skirt options – the mini skirt on the left, long skirt, and the short flirty skirt.  It also includes two pairs of long pants – one textured to match the top and the other plain.  The shirt has a little keyhole opening over your belly button.  I have no idea why my belly button looks dirty in these pictures.  lol I know it’s not because of my beautiful Mei Li skin, so it must be part of the top’s design.   I really should have accessorized this outfit more, but my head was spinning and my hard drive was smoking by the time I finished shooting all these pictures.  0_O  Hope you like, and if you do, please head over to Zipz to show them some love.  The prices are amazing for this level of workmanship.

Well, Sachi Vixen did it yet again.  Last night she released four more makeups in the Mei Li skin line.  I don’t know what rock I was hiding under, but I missed the original release of Mei Li (and Amanda, actually – another beautiful skin).  These four makeups are a special package – all four makeups with 8 options each (see my previous post on Sasha for an explanation) in one tone, plus a manicure and pedicure to match each makeup, as well as a pubic hair option on the underpants layer — all for L$1600.  A bargain that is (channeling Yoda, sorry).

I’m wearing the hairbase with cleavage option in all makeups above, and they are, from left to right, Hai, Idol, Otaku, and Yaoi.  I am not showing the body of these skins because they are essentially the same as Sasha’s, which I posted earlier.

So, I think I’m turning Japanese. (See song explanation here).  I’m also soooo happy because I’ve *finally* found eyes that I like.  I’ve been wearing my same Miriel eyes for at least a year now.  I’ve tried other eyes, but none really pleased me.  Someone on the feed yesterday blogged Shine’s new eyes, and so I tp’d over to check them out, as I usually do.  Oh My God – I grabbed the freebie, along with two others.
