Can you believe it! I’ve been so busy bouncing all over the grid from sim to sim with my girl K-Rubb that I’ve totally neglected my bloggles! So what’s the skinny, minny? Well, aside from moving like three times since the last time I updated, I’ve also gotten a lot more srs about my burgeoning photography career. I use to term “career” lightly because, as it stands, I’ve yet to receive linden one for my clickity-clacks.

But Rubble has been exceptionally supportive of me actually having a paying job instead of mooching off of her and her husband. So she’s been pimping me left and right, including featuring a set on her own flickr with pictures that I’ve either taken or edited myself. You can view them by clicking here! Thank you so much for that, my sister from another mister.

You should also check out the rest of her flickr, because she not only takes gorgeous pics in her own right, she also has some snapshots of the latest in a long stream of residential surroundings. I chipped in what I had for our own private island sim, which she wrote about so much better here. I LOVE IT!!! I love Olivia and I having our own, real house, instead of just a room. Our first day there, Olivia rezzed a bunch of posters she made just for me, including personal faves like Katy Perry and one for the movie Ghost World, which would totally be a cinematic metaphor for our lives, if only Enid and Rebecca made out and felt each other up a lot. WHICH THEY SHOULD HAVE!

I recently applied for a job at Kiss My Camera, a really hip studio that I hope my lack of experience doesn’t keep me from landing a job at. I’m keeping my fingers crossed guise! Until then, it’s Sundays at Gnarled Oak and Wednesdays at Lounge of Dreams to watch my sister do her deejay thing. The other nights are all about Olivia, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She really needs to get a blog though – NOT THAT I SHOULD TALK!

Me gustan los días nublados, y los soleados… y los soleados de día y lluviosos de tarde, o al revés

Sin embargo, cuando está nublado me da como antojo de ir a tomar café… de un capuchino, de plática de amigos… de un cigarro y conversaciones de esas de cuatro horas o más.

En uno de mis paseos encontré este cafecito que está padrísimo y es la simulación de aquel donde pasaban su tiempo libre los amigos de FRIENDS, la serie americana tan famosa. Está ubicado en un sim de Francia, y el lugar está cuidado por el chico de la barra y sus dos gatitos.

Me gustó mucho el lugar… tan tranquilo y acogedor. Y se me antojó un capuchino. Tendré que ir por él al cafecito de por mi casa. Nomás me hace falta la compañía de mis amigos, pero todos andamos en RL, ya será hasta el próximo fin, ja!

Last night I was allowed to rez a free skybox I found over at Kosh. I want to thank Lizzie Lexington for her generous donation of 65 prims and a little airspace. Because of this generous act, I am no longer SL homeless. Yay!

In other musings, I am really on the fence about underwear in SL. Not the frilly kind the ladies like but honest to goodness plain underwear.  I suppose the immersion aspect of it makes sense, but really do we need undies in SL? I’m thinking we don’t but I always wear them haha.

There are undies now with prim , um, well…’fronts’. You know,  the bulge aspect of the undies. I wonder who sat down and said “hey people in SL need this!” But they do exist (see photo for evidence).

In other general musings, I’ve noticed there are more and more people thriving on their various ‘haters’ and choosing to focus good energy there instead of positive fun stuff. People, this is the fucking internet. Stop e-balling and just have fun with it. I long for a return to the day when you were not judged by how many people hated you, when that wasn’t cool.

Why is it cool now? That’s the thing I don’t understand.  Perhaps I will never understand it. I spose’ if it makes you tingly that a throng of , basically, anonymous nobodies hate you, go for it?

That’s it for the musings today, boring and rambling as they are. I hope Monday finds you in a better frame of  mind than I am in today. It’s been a hectic day so far with having Friday off.  A day off always sounds good until you go back and have to do double the fucking work. You pay for it eventually. You always pay..lol

Well, I guess Sweethearts ain’t Vegas……

It all started with Kevin and I going to Sweethearts to dance…. it was so laggy at that place it took about 15 minutes for things to rez. For whatever reason I kind of got bored and I am saying to Kevin I am going to attach my gun. “WHAT IN HERE”? Look of horror on his face….. “THE GUN” an nifty little attachment a friend once gave me for target practicing…. Oh goody Sas is online, so I passed her a copy of “THE GUN”. Next thing I know she wants a TP…. so being the good friend I am, I figured why not. At the same time Kevin TP’s Vel… (yes, I am sure she just wanted to make sure things did not get out of control…… Ha!) I think if we would have gotten banned it would have been because of Sas’s hair, I mean what was she thinking!
