I find that this book will also be very useful for students in the school of engineering, especially those who are taking Diploma in Aerospace Avionics, Diploma in Aerospace Engineering and Diploma in Civil Aviation. In the beginning of “Big Wings”, you will read about the history of bombers (military aircrafts). After I read through it, I felt that it is very important to understand the history of the aeroplanes. This book clearly depicts how the military planes developed from those old days when technology was not so advanced. I am very impressed with the engineers as they managed to succeed even though they faced numerous obstacles when developing the aircrafts. There is a huge collection of photos in this book and you can evidently see the evolution of the aeroplanes from the past to the present. This book also mentioned the making of the world’s largest plane – Airbus 380, which broke the world record as it is able to carry a maximum of 800 passengers on one flight. If you are interested in physics but you are not familiar with it, here is the book for you to understand all the basics of physics. This book covers the key Chapters of physics  which are Mechanics physics and Thermodynamics physics.

 Mechanics physics is quite an interesting topic among all the other topics because it’s quite similar to our daily life. For example, in Chapter 4 and 5, the author explained about Newton’s 1^st law, 2^nd law and 3^rd law of motions. From these, we can understand how things move and how they can be moved. For instance, the driving of a car. But we cannot forget the importance of “Friction”. Without it, we can’t even walk. You can find out more in this book. Another interesting topic is Chapter 14 which include nature of fluid motion, laws of fluid motion, etc. After reading them, you would probably understand how water comes out from your hand shower when you are taking a bath. 

I personally like this book because in every chapter, the author explained all the theories clearly, followed by fully worked problems and practice problems with answers so that you may work them out on your own. This allows you to study the topic independently.

This book is a good reference, especially for the students who are taking A211-Advanced Mathematics I – differential equations.

Based on my experience, at the start of the lessons, this module introduces the part about differentiation equations (mainly talk about the derivatives).  By simply following the worksheets, it is difficult for most students new to the topic to solve the questions. With the help of this book, which provides more information starting from the fundamental to more advanced level, not only can students learn better but also challenges them. For example, in Chapter 3 which is on the derivative, instead of plunging into the topic itself, the book guides the students to learn rate of change in physical phenomena such as the speed of a car, growth number of bacteria and so on. Following the topic, it shows the proof and relation of linking rate of change into derivative function. Then it introduces main rules used in derivative calculations such as product rule, chain rule and power rule. For each rule, the book shows detailed proofs for the theorem and provides graphs for explanation. So when student read through those chapters, they won’t be bored and those graphs strengthen their impressions about the rules. What’s more? It attaches examples and practices for students to practice and gain improvements. Indeed, I have to say this book teaches me more than the school’s 6^th P. The later part of the module on Advanced Mathematics I covers a lot of problems about integration which is much more difficult than derivative. This book will ease your way in learning it well. It provides good and detailed explanations about the symbols used in integration so that when you are questioned, you will be able to react faster and answer better.

This book also benefits students who are taking E336 Biomedical Signal Processing and E204 Linear Circuits and Control. These two modules require students to apply math knowledge in some problems. For example, in Chapter 10, the Euler’s method is introduced. This is a very important part for application in most SEG modules while doing calculations.

Indeed, this book has benefitted me in my studies at RP for two years. I would like to share my learning experience and pass the good things to my juniors and help them gain achievements at RP.

I believed this information is very relevant to our daily lives as we use electricity everyday and in understanding it well, we can handle it with care for our own safety.

Moreover, the author has covered a lot of interesting topics like atomic and nuclear physics, properties of light, etc. Since the author has generously offered such abundant topics, you can easily indulge in one of the topics of your interests.

Many concepts are illustrated with relevant examples and there are even sample questions and answers to test your level of understanding on the topic. The authors have definitely covered sufficient breadth and depth on the subject.

This is a very useful and good book for the students who are from the School of Engineering (SEG). For SEG students taking E203 Circuit Analysis and E219 Analogue Electronics in Year Two, this book is your best tool to score As for these units in both your daily grades and UTs.

The book provides detailed information about theories and derivation of formulas. It also allows the reader to learn things in a more systematic way. It covers a lot of information about AC and DC circuits, especially capacitors, inductors, RLC circuits and resonance, etc.  All these are required knowledge in E203 Circuit Analysis. 

Based my experience, it is not easy for the freshman to solve the problem statement and gain good understanding of the topics if he depends only on the worksheet provided. Some may go online to look for resources but information from the internet may not be reliable.

Your best choice would be to borrow this book. For example, in part II, Chapter 10, the book guides you in understanding the relationship between current and voltage in an RC circuit first, followed by the sinusoidal response of RC circuits. It provides both graphs and detailed calculation procedures. Explanatory notes accompany for each step. What’s more, it has practice questions as tests for students. By going through those practice questions, you will be able to understand the circuit better and remember the formulas used. I greatly believe that ‘practice makes perfect!’. As you go through more practices, your UT grades will definitely be higher and better.

As for E219 Analogue Electronics, the book covers topics on diodes and amplifiers. Based on my experience, the module doesn’t guide you through on how the semiconductor works and how it becomes a Diode. I think it will be better to get an understanding of the biasing of the PN junction first because it really benefits our understanding about diodes.  This book provides detailed information about it and provides practice questions as well.

Most importantly, this book will make your study of E203 Circuit Analysis and E219 Analogue Electronics easier and more effective because you don’t have to spend too much time in searching online and filtering information. By making full use of this book, you will be able to learn more systematically. Indeed, if you face difficulties in circuit analysis or analogue electronics, please get help from this book. You would learn more than expected.

Egentligen är jag seg i hela kroppen men huvudet är nog värst. I Want a Justice System to Protect ME, not the Perverts 

Dear Honourable Judge,

I am writing to express my outrage. Recently a good friend of mine broke down and confessed to me the torture she experienced at the hands of Randy Price of Sweet Entertainment and Diverse Talent in Vancouver BC. Simply put, she was cooerced and coned and tricked into signing a consent form BEFORE the torture. Why not sign a consent form before AND after if their practices are little more than “theatrics” as claimed by the defense lawyer Kent Snowsell (appropriate last name for this sell job The Honourable Judge R.R. Low obviously received).  Sadly my friend just heard about this court case that took place in 2002. My friends ordeal is still going on today. The pain of humiliation and degradation she sufferred at the hands of four men. Randy Price, Stephen Lyons, Reyfenel Damasco (Ray Ray) and Geoff Baker (aka Tom Sweet) lied and deceived and commited acts of torture on a young, barely legal lady.

How dare the “Honourable Justice” R. R. Low claim that the violence and humiliation suffered by these women at the hands of these four men be deemed “tolerant”.

In this article you will read about this company Sweet Entertainment Group headed by Randy Price dehumanizing and torturing women. They will claim its within the standards of BDSM play but I beg to differ. My friend was pushed into cooperating or else. How confident would you feel thinking you were signing up for something “normal” and being NAKED in a room with 4 adult men. Where can you hide your bear spray to prevent attack…or hide a key to jab someone with in self defence. I don’t know about the rest of you…but if I were standing naked in a room with 4 men…I wouldn’t have much ability to object either.

This case was a new benchmark in obsence. We must express our outrage…how dare these people judge what is decent by COMPARING IT TO HOLLYWOOD MOVIES LIKE AMERICAN PSYCHO ETC.  Newsflash for you ”Honourable Justice” R.R.Low…HOLLYWOOD IS MAKE BELIEVE! When people are electrocuted, poked, prodded, pee’d on and in, beaten and whipped….THE MOANS AND CRYING AND PAIN IS REAL. I wonder if the “Honourable Justice” R. R. Low would  take offence if I shot someone….that happens in Hollywood  TOO. If I was holding a cam corder and had my murder victim “sign” a waiver prior to my shooting them…would I too be able to change the standards of decency and set a new precedent.

Quality Engineering is a subject whose applications can be found in various industries, including manufacturing or service industry where knowing how the company is performing and taking the necessary actions to rectify any discrepancies is essential for its survival. This book by Summers gives a good basic introduction to the field of Quality Engineering, and contains a number of examples and workings to give you a good grasp of the subject and foundation for further readings.

This book is particularly relevant for students from Diploma in Industrial and Operations Management who is taking E332 Quality Control module. Some of the topics that will be covered include: Control Charts, Process Capability, Design of Experiments and many more. Statistics is an essential component in the field of Quality Control, and with the numerous examples contained in the book, readers can expect to practise on the statistical concepts for a good understanding of the subject.

I came across this book when I was in second year of my studies. Being interested in the field of Quality and curious about the subject then, I took it up and started reading it. I have to say that even though this book doesn’t cover as much as some other Quality Control books do, however, it had definitely given me a good basic introduction to the subject and provided me with some prior knowledge during my Quality Control lesson. Nevertheless, this book suits everyone who wishes to have an idea of what Quality Engineering is about before pursuing deeper into the subject.

Hoppas att D somnar lite tidigare idag för att igår somnade han vid 11 tiden eller senare kommer inte ihåg exakt vilken tid det var. Men det händer typ aldrig att han inte somnar vid 9 tiden. Hoppas att det inte upprepas i kväll.

Det är en sådan där dag när man bara känner säg seg. Pappa Sebbe vill bara va Sebbe för en stund haha.. Neh så seg känner jag mig inte men nästan..

Längtar tills morgonen för den härliga frukost i säng med D, S och massa kaffe. Nooooooo kom på att S ska ju ner till sin mamma och käka frukost imorgon får bli kaffe i min ensamhet istället haha, kan var skönt ibland. Men det bästa på dagen är ju den där mysiga morgonen med D o S.

Tur att det finns flera dagar i veckan..

Det är ute med mig nu.. garanterat. Det är kört.
Hostan har ändrat sig under kvällen. Bara så där… huxflux
Bara på några timmar så har den ökat och hostan är på annat sätt.
Tidigare så var den tung, tung, tung och satt långt inne
och jag hostade mest då jag lagt mig. Knappt någonting på dagen.
Nu är den “Lättare” och sen så får jag upp en massa skit… Bluäääk!
Sen har jag då börjat hosta mera… Mysko.
Antagligen så har jag fått en ny infektion på den gamla…
Så nu hostar man väl snart dygnet runt…
Jaja… så kan det gå ibland!!
Så länge jag inte tappar förståndet så må jag väl ha lite hosta.
Jag kanske blir en sådan tvångshostkroniker på kuppen..
Då ska man iaf inte gå på föreläsningar eller bio..
Då blir man väl lynchad… Haha

Men det suger… vill sova på nätterna faktiskt
Utan att vakna av allt hostande i min imaginära säng.
Ja den som är 160… och har dubbla madrasser
som typ en… Continentalsäng eller vad dom nu heter. Medelmjuk.
Dunbolster, stora underbara kuddar i massor… ja ni förstår.
Att det sen är en smal soffa som jag ligger på.. säger vi ingenting om.
Drömma är skönt…

Hanna var trött idag… hon somnade vid 20 tiden.
Hon gäspade stort redan när jag hämtade henne från fritte.
Marcus la sig inte långt efter… Han har varit lite smågnällig.
Så där småirriterad  och olustig i ett par dagar.
Dom stora grabbsen verkar vara sega dom med…
Bara dom inte är trötta och gnälliga för att dom börjar bli sjuka..
Tycker mig också höra en och annan hostattack då och då.
Nu håller vi alla tummar så att barnen håller sig friska.

Sa till en av grabbarna i Söndags att det kanske kommer snö i veckan.
Hanna var i ett annat rum man hon snappade upp det.
Sen dess har hon tjatat om snö…
Hon tog fram sin overall och pussade på den… Haha
Hon vill verkligen att det ska komma snö så nu får det göra det också.
Hon blir ju så glad över några flingor..
Hon tjuter av lycka… som många andra barn.. dom flesta säkerligen.
Det är en tjusning med den första snön… eller hur??

Klippte håret på Elias igår kväll…
Ja jäklar vad tjockt hår han har grabben…
Duschar han så blir överhåret blött men det är torrt under.
Det tog ju sin lilla stund att klippa av hans kalufs..
Det vart ju en helt annan kille som kikade fram under pälsmössan..Haha
Skulle gärna skicka alla grabbarna till frissan..
Eftersom min rygg tar storstryk när jag klipper ungarna..
Står ju i en konstig ställning hela tiden.
Men det kostar ju money och sådant har vi inte så mycket av.
Pengarna behövs till att mätta ett antal munnar med…
Nu står båda Johannes och Marcus på tur för klippning..
Idag så pallade jag inte klippa så det blir väl i morgon.
Det är väl bara preparera sig med dubbla doser värkpilurer…
och en stor dos vilja.. det kommer man långt med =)

Ja ni ser…
Man är inte bara mamma man är frisör också… =)

Jag skulle verkligen… alltså verkligen behöva ett jobb.
Men Köping är ju en varslad stad så här är det svårt.
Pendla till Västerås är ju en möjlighet…
Men då måste det vara ett heltidsjobb som ger hyfsad lön
För jobba deltid och pendla kostar för mycket.
vill ju gärna behålla lite av lönen ju.
Ja sen så måste det vara dagtid..
Har ingen barnpassning på kvällar och helger.
Men någonting måste det ju finnas för mig här i Köping.
Är inte ett dugg kräsen faktiskt…
Snart är julen här och jag ser mig själv… som situationen är nu
på ruinens brant. Hualigen… en jul till, så här, lockar inte speciellt.
Men det går som med allting annat ju… så är det bara.
Sen tar det en 6 månader att återhämta sig..
Lagom till semestern… och sen är det kört igen.. Haha
Fan, det är ju ett heltidsjobb med att hålla sig flytande ju.
Synd att man inte får någon lön… =)

Jag har ju Mina vackra värdefulla ungar…
Det är ju dom som räknas… och får mig att gå framåt.
Det är dom som ger mig hopp..
Och som jag sa i Expressens “Fattigartikel” i somras att:
Vi står på kö… Det är våran tur snart”
Ja så är det ju… någon gång är det ju våran tur att ha det ok
som ekonomiskt… någon gång.
Tills dess så är det bara se glad ut och gilla läget =)
Och jag klagar inte… konstaterar bara att så här är det =)

Onsdag i morgon…
Det är ju attans vad det går fort fram nu…
Snart är helgen här och sen kommer härliga underbara Måndag.
Måndag är faktiskt en dag jag gillar attans bra..
Efter en helg med vilda huliganer så är ju Måndagen bra att ha.
Det är ju första skoldagen för veckan och man kan få andas ut
ja i alla fall ett par tre minuter…Haha
Det är ingen som ropar “Mammaaa kooom…” eller “Jag vill ha…”
Utan det är så, så tyst… Ljuvligt ju… Haha

Nu ska jag göra lite nytta…
Få undan disken och hänga tvätt…
The Show must go on…

I find that this is an extremely helpful book as it provides a clear structure on how to write a formal project report. It also goes down to details such as length of the report, spacing and fonts requirement. This book also talked about the difference between an abstract and an introduction, general grammar, language and style tips. I think most of us are not so sure on how to write a beautiful report. Fear not, help is here! Read this book and it will help you clear your doubts and prepare a satisfactory report or improve on your existing one.

This book is nicely divided into 5 chapters, which follow the flow of a report. In Chapter 1, it indicates the basic requirements of the project, which gives you a primary understanding on report writing. Chapter 2 is the main section, which talks about the framework and elements in a report. Following that, it shows you the formatting and the final draft. Last but not least, it provides a sample of a final year report for your reference.

This is not a thick or complex book, but it covers a lot of areas. It is definitely worth your time to read it.
