The launch party for Rihanna’s Rated R album was held last night at the Juliette Superclub in the Big Apple and pure hotness ensued from the islandistas in attendance.

They were led of course by Ri-ri herself in a spiky gold dress and gold Louboutins that aren’t even being sold to the public yet – ye, a so de girl hot.

She was accompanid by BFF Melissa and changed into a red look later that night which we’re not quite as enamoured of… though she is working the sheer black stockings trend that is making some waves right now.

Trini-descended ’socialite’ islandista aka the chick people love to hate, Ms Genevieve Jones in a dress that looks like something a slutty pixie would wear – with the sheer bodice and kerchief-hemmed skirt. Only Genevieve could get away with it.

Ya know… If I had to pick between a Comme des Garcons show and a Victoria’s Secret show, I’d pick the latter. I like hoe shit what can I say…

It would be fun, have Bellinis  first, The Fishy would have to help me to my seat, because, I’d be dancing/happy/buzzed and about to fall. The music would be pumping, gooooood times.

Foi na última quinta-feira, 19/11, o esperado desfile anual da Victoria’s Secret, um dos eventos fashion mais esperados do ano, que aconteceu no The Lexington Armory, em Nova York.

O desfile reuniu algumas das maiores modelos do mundo, que obviamente desfilaram seus corpos esculturais vestindo… lingerie: Alessandra Ambrosio, Izabel Goulart, Miranda Kerr, Isabeli Fontana, Marisa Miller, Selita Ebanks, Doutzen Kroes, Heidi Klum, Ana Beatriz Barros, Chanel Iman, Candice Swanepoel. Aliás, foi a primeira aparição pós-gravidez de Heidi Klum, que surgiu na passarela lindíssima como sempre.

A cantora Fergie, que comandou o som, não ficou para trás e exibiu seu belo par de pernas em apresentação com o grupo Black Eyed Peas, que levantou a galera com a música Boom Boom Pow.

A modelo Marisa Miller adentrou a passarela usando um sutiã com diamantes, que custa nada menos que U$ 3 milhões! Confira os looks:

As the holidays approach, islandistas have been making some moves on the modelling scene – both the professional catwalkers and the celebs.

Selita, Selina and Shena have all been visible recently.

Teenaged newcomers, Martinique’s Selina Khan and Jamaica’s Shena Moulton, both scored holiday campaigns for Gap. Selina is featured in the American Gap posters, getting skippy with other models in a red flannel look, while Shena is part of the crew backing up rapper Pharrell in the Japanese Gap promo. Check out the pics below.

Estelle is also featured in the Japanese Gap holiday print campaign, on her own, in a menswear inspired look that we really like.

Meanwhile, Selita walked the runway last night with the rest of the Victoria’s Secret Angels in their big annual holiday showcase – and looked fabulous both on the runway, rocking out with the Black Eyed Peas and on the red carpet after the event, as you can see below.

German supermodel Heidi Klum made a surprise appearance on the runway at yesterday’s annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Heidi wowed the audience as she took the catwalk just six weeks after giving birth to her fourth child, Lou Sulola Samuel.

It was a fantastic show last night on Times Square: Tons of energy, major fashion, great music, amazing Angels!

Supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Miranda Kerr, Selita Ebanks, Marisa Miller and a bevy of other beauties were back in New York City for the sexiest show on earth.

The show themes fell into 4 categories: Enchanted Forest, Star Trooper, Romantic Journey and Pink Planet.

The highlight of the show was the $3 million worth ‘Fantasy Bra’, modelled by Victoria’s Secret Angel Marisa Miller. The ‘Fantasy Bra’ is studded with 2,350 white, champagne and cognac diamonds placed in a harlequin pattern, with a rare 16-carat heart-shaped champagne diamond in the center.

The 2009 ‘Fantasy Bra’ is $2 million cheaper than last year’s modelled by Adriana Lima who was absent from this year’s fashion show as well as Karolina Kurkova who are both taking maternity breaks.

No more than a week ago I ordered some stuff from Victoria’s Secret with my mum’s dear friend Sabrina, on my receipt it said I would arrive around the 11th of December, perfect for Christmas right? Imagine my surprise when this massive brown box of love, rainbows and unicorns arrived at the front door. It is no less than 70×70x50 and weighed 8 kgs.

I am so excited! Everything fits so perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised by how fast it got here! And look at the cute flower detail on the ruffle undies!

Now, uh… who’s gonna clean up the mess?

Som du säkert har märkt har det hänt lika lite på wtmfd de senaste dagarna som det har hänt med Amy Winehouse tuttar senaste månaden. Eller inte, mer tvärtom. Jag har varit bortrest ett tag på en väldigt viktig affärsresa eftersom jag är en väldigt viktig affärsman och många viktiga människor vill ha tag på mig väldigt ofta. Det finns en möjlighet att jag bara har varit hemma också men fått tag på användarnamn och lösenord till en väldigt bra och intressant hemsida, men hur kul hade det varit att säga det direkt? Imorgon börjar jag skriva igen, men tills dess får ni stirra på Selita Ebanks där uppe och låtsas som att jag skriver någonting kul om henne. “Hahaha, nu är han jätterolig igen!” kan du säga för dig själv när du kollat på bilden ett tag och låtsats klart, så känns det autentiskt!

Og: Pretty Party, heite damer edition.

En natt denne uken ( i går natt) hadde jeg og  Morten en liten diskusjon over MSN. Samtalen gikk ut på hvem som er heit her i verden, og disse kom vi fram til:

Morten sier: Stam SKAL være øverst!

Jessica Stam, eller “gjett hvem jeg tror jeg gikk forbi i SoHo” som Morten liker å kalle henne. Faen ta Morten. Jessica Stam er i hvertfall det heiteste kvinnfolket jeg vet om, og min favorittmodell i hele verden. Jeg kunne gitt hva som helst for å være en tredjedel så vakker som henne. True Story.

I rekken av heite britiske jenter med heit aksent troner Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Jeg tror Morten har vanskelig for å huske navnet hennes, for han kaller henne bare for Heitfrabladet.

Det var usikkert om Angelina skulle få være med først.

Ida: har vi glemt noen viktige nå?
Morten:Angelina? Vet ikke om hun teller lenger?
Ida: Vi har jo megan. Hun får holde for de begge
Morten: Er det kontroversielt å ha begge?
Ida: Hva er vel vi om ikke kontroversielle? ANGELINA ER IN!!!
Morten: HAHAHAH
Ida: jeg elsker at jeg tar dette så sykt høytidelig!!!
Morten:Hun fortjener nesten plass over Megan. Bare fordi hun er en klassiker.

Jeg har egentlig store problemer med frøken Fox her, men hver gang jeg leser et intervju med henne liker jeg henne mer og mer. Og herregud, hun er jo heit som fy. Blir nesten svimmel.

Morten visste ikke hvem Selita Ebanks var, så når jeg sendte han et bilde av han svarte han bare “skjer med heit?” Jeg tok det som et tegn på at Selita fortjente en like stor plass i heitfesten som alle de andre.

Ååh, det skal lønne seg å være halvt svart og halv asiatisk. Chanel Iman her er et resultat av denne herlige blandingen, og hvilken herlighet er hun ikke å se på?

Coco Rocha gir ordet heit en helt ny mening. Litt sånn rar heit, men fortsatt heit heit!

Morten visste ikke hvem Daria Werbowy var heller, og når jeg viste han et bilde av henne svarte han med et “tynn, men heit” dermed var også Daria i listen. Bare greit spør du meg. Hun var tross alt med  i mitt aller første pretty party.

Det var det for i dag. Siste kronen på verket er lagt, og barei tilfelle mamma skuller sjekke bloggen min og se en masse lettkledde kvinner: Jeg er ikke lesbisk(eller bifil).

We all look forward to the gorgeous scantily clad Angels who know they’re the hottest commodity – because they are – but you won’t be seeing a few regulars, seeing that the stork is delivering mini-angels in the next several months. But, it’s not such a horrible thing to see new faces – and i know you will agree.

Although Heidi Klum’s post-pregnancy silhouette is less than Victoria’s Secret ready, the Aphrodite-esque mother of four is sidelined from walking but will be hosting the show. Adriana Lima continues to sport her bump and Karolina Kurkova has recently given birth to a boy.

According to Modelinia,

Erin Heatherton, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Candice Swanepoel, Lindsay Ellingson, Chanel Iman, Liu Wen, Izabel Goulart, Isabeli Fontana, Shannan Click, Flavia de Oliveira, Lyndsey Scott, Aminata Niaria, Caroline Trentini, Caroline Winberg, and Lily Aldridge are all confirmed to walk in the show this year! It’s an especially exciting moment for Liu, as she’s the first Asian model to take part in the Victoria’s Secret show, and just as thrilling for Chanel, since she’ll be walking for the first time as well!

Alessandra Ambrosio and Selita Ebanks will be walking as well.
