<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>I&#8217;d always assumed that if you&#8217;re riding for more than 30 miles, you&#8217;re going to be in some saddle-related discomfort. Apparently not.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve never used a women specific saddle before. I&#8217;ve always found the non-WSD Fizik and Specialized saddles pretty comfortable, though as I said &#8211; that&#8217;s with the assumption that I&#8217;m going to be wriggling around trying to change my position for comfort after 30 miles. I have a fairly well broken in Brooks on my touring bike, and that&#8217;s great while you&#8217;re on the bike up to about 80 miles &#8211; but I find if I get off the bike for a break and then get on it again I&#8217;m in all kinds of pain.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m intending to start racing next season, and I&#8217;ve just sorted some WSD bars for my road bike, so figured I may as well try out a WSD saddle too and this one came highly recommended from other female cyclists.</p>
<p>Now, admittedly I&#8217;ve yet to use the Lady Gel Flow for more than 90 miles in one go &#8211; I&#8217;ve done about 150 in total on it so far &#8211; which isn&#8217;t a huge amount. But so far, I&#8217;ve been getting off my bike barely feeling like I&#8217;ve been on it. As soon as I can afford it, I&#8217;m buying another one to replace the Brooks on my touring bike.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not the lightest in the world at 290g, but for comfort it&#8217;s the best I&#8217;ve used yet. RRP is £70, but it&#8217;s a bit cheaper on Parker etc.</p>

Es wurde vor ca. 10 Jahren bei Real gekauft und inzwischen ist ausser dem Rahmen nichts mehr original. Das Rad wurde ausgiebig in diversen Facetten des Bikens genutzt, so überstand es tägliche, quälende Ausfahrten zur Schule und Arbeit. Diente als Lastentier  für ausgiebige, um 100km weite Touren, überstand sogar Einsätze in Krisengebieten des Trial.<!--more--></p>
<p>Gaben Fahrradteile den Geist auf, so wurden sie ersetzt. Inzwischen verfügt das Rad über ein XTR Schaltwerk, XT Umwerfer, XT Zahnkranz, Laufradsatz von Shimano, Kurbel und Innenlager von Shimano, Deore Schalthebel, Sattel von Selle Italia und Magura HS11.</p>

<p>Nach dem letzten Singletrail, wo sich meine Kurbel wieder fast verabschiedet hat (sämtliche Schrauben haben sich an den Kettenblättern gelöst, da anscheinend durch eine zu hohe Belastung das Gewinde zerstört worden ist) steht fest:</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><p>Here it is, my most recent acquisition, a full columbus SLX 1989 Duell track pursuit frame in fantastic condition.</p>
<p>Built with what parts I had lying around it is now absolutely and perfectly rideable but I am still on the lookout for a few &#8216;choice&#8217; parts&#8230; Namely a Steel, 65 degree drop variation of the Nitto &#8216;Jaguar&#8217; stem, somesort of chrome aero seatpost and a set of decent cranks, oh and that white tyre has got to go! But for now I marinade and simply enjoy it. </p>
<p>It is a bit like riding permanently on the drops but the fact it takes a 700c up front makes it a little more forgiving on your wrists, thank goodness! The sheer tightness of the frame makes toe overlap a bit of an issue but not too much of a big deal, I mean it is not like I plan on doing barspins or anything! This thing is made to go fast in a straight line and that is what will continue to be done.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Nachdem wir jetz schon wieder eine Woche aus Mallorca zurück sind, ist mit etwas Verspätung auch die]]></description>

Na endlich, das hat ja auch lange genug gedauert! Unter der Woche hab ichs, nach den recht anstrengenden Tagen auf Malle, etwas ruhiger angehen lassen. Montag wie immer beim Spinning, Dienstags die Beine hochgelegt, Mittwoch bei strahlendem Sonnenschein gute 2 Stunden und 60 km nach der Arbeit gefahren, auf der ich auch meinen neuen Sattel, den <em>Selle Italia SLR GF TEAM EDITION</em> testen durfte. Absolut Schicht im Schacht war dann am Donnerstag nach dem KA Training im Studio. Flasche leer, aber sowas von! Deshalb hab ich vorgestern dann nochmal nen exzellenten Gammeltag eingelegt. Und oh Wunder: Gestern gings mal richtig gut, bei 14 °C Außentemperatur morgens 88 km in 3:05 abgerissen und anschließend direkt we<img class="alignright" title="Samstag Morgen" src="http://fstatic1.rennrad-news.de/img/photos/8/7/0/6/_/thumb/Bild041.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="113" />iter zum Spinningmarathon in Wermelskirchen, wo ich einen meiner Teamkollegen ablösen durfte.</p>
<p>Nach Adam Opel standen abends ordentliche 6 Std 20 Min auf der Uhr. Sehr akzeptabel.</p>
<p>Obwohl die Wetteraussichten für heute eher bescheiden aussahen, hats sich heute doch noch ganz gut gehalten. Ums kurz zu machen: 72,7 km in 2:38 Std mit diversen KA Einheiten am Berg. Bergisches Fazit: Et reicht für heute. Zumindest bis morgen.</p>

Han jeg kjøpte det av måtte gi opp etter en halv time. For meg var en time ikke noe problem. Jeg kunne så vidt kjenne at det var mindre polstring i setet, men komforten var omtrent den samme som som setet jeg byttet ut (Selle Italia SLR XC Gel Flow).</p>
<p>Ser ut som dette kan gå bedre enn jeg hadde regnet med.</p>

Jeg har aldri skjønt hvorfor det heter C64. Først trodde jeg det var fordi det veide 64 gram, men etterhvert så jeg jo at det stod 76 g på høyre side av setet. Kanskje det veide 76 gram, da? Nei, så enkelt er det nok ikke. Selle Italia oppgir vekten til 88 gram. Det er sikkert pluss/minus en eller annen %. Mitt sete veier i alle fall 92.5 gram.</p>
<p>Sa jeg mitt sete? Ja, det stemmer, jeg har kjøpt meg et Selle Italia SLR C64! Brukt. En halv time. Jeg kan ikke se at det er brukt. Men jeg fikk det i alle fall til brukt pris. Og jeg visste hva det veide før jeg kjøpte det, så jeg ble ikke lurt eller skuffet på noe vis. For meg er 92.5 gram lett.</p>

<p>Hva i all verden skal jeg med et sånt sete? Det lurer jeg på også. Jeg har ikke kjøpt det med tanke på komfort i alle fall. Grunnen til at det var brukt kun en halv time var nettopp at han som eide det ikke orket mer. En halv time! Lover godt. Det skal sies at jeg har hørt om andre som liker setet, så jeg håper at funker ålreit for meg også. Jeg har to andre seter i SLR-familien og de liker jeg veldig godt, så fasongen passer meg i alle fall.</p>
<p>Nei, det har nok noe med drømmer å gjøre. Første gangen jeg så dette setet kostet det mer enn sykkelen jeg syklet på. Jeg skjønte det simpelthen ikke. Hvordan kunne man lage noe så lett? Og så dyrt? I tillegg syntes jeg det så fantastisk ut. Det finnes karbonseter som er lettere. Ja, dyrere også. Men for meg har Selle Italia SLR C64 alltid vært det ultimate sykkelsetet.</p>
<p>Timingen var slik at jeg hadde noen huller på delelista for Spideren min. Et av hullene var sete. På Luziferen har jeg SLR XC Gel Flow. Et fantastisk komfortabelt sete. Derfor kikket jeg på lignende seter, men kanskje en av variantene som er litt lettere. (XC Gel Flow veier 177 gram.) Å kjøpe nytt er jo litt kjedelig, så jeg fulgte med på bruktsidene på terrengsykkel.no, men ingenting passende dukket opp. Før mitt Selle Italia SLR C64, altså. Plutselig lå det der. &#8220;Karbonsete selges&#8221;. Og prisen var akseptabel. (Det var bare litt dyrere enn setet som var bare litt dyrere enn det jeg opprinnelig hadde tenkt.) Jeg slo til.</p>
<p>Nå har jeg et karbonsete som kler min fantastiske Intense Spider FRO i Works Red. Når den dukker opp, altså. Kan du se for deg det blanke svarte karbonsetet mot den knallrøde ramma? Det kan jeg.</p>
<p>Og jeg gleder meg.</p>
<p>PS. I utgangspunktet ser jeg for meg å bruke setet på rundbaneritt. Altså ritt som varer en times tid. Håper det går bra. Hvis ikke ender det som pynt i sykkelbua. For meg er dette nemlig et kunstverk.</p>
