Also don’t miss the last submission combo he does it is pretty cool!!!

The first introduction of the TAO Metaversity and its newly announced campus @ Kayenta, Utah came to fruition on the 19th of November. Many of those who attended have commented on this blog, facebook, through e mails and over the phone. They are expressing their sincere excitement about this “Sanctuary in the Desert”.

All that attended this meeting, whether physically there or through the reading of this blog, mirror the “Running Ambassadors” of the Mayan civilization. Each of us have the choice to become a clear vessel to what has been introduced. Referring to a past and present linage of ”Running Ambassadors”, those attending this meeting received an image of the TAO Metaversity and can now begin to share that knowledge by giving it voice. Through each Running Ambassador’s sharing, the TAO Metaversity keeps on gaining strength thanks to the help of other people’s thinking.

After the meeting, one of the present day Running Ambassadors recognized , “The statement you made about, ” The TAO Metaversity is already here”, was so true. It lives in all of us and what a beautiful place to have it.” Another Running Ambassador stated, “I’ve got the folder telling all about the TAO Metaversity right here on the table with me. I’m so excited about what is already in action.” And a small exerpt from another Running Ambassador commented on this blog, “I applaud the vision and energy- keeping the fire lit and gleaming brightly. Congratulations on this latest Development.”

I’m going away again tomorrow. Actually, that’s not strictly accurate (but when has this blog ever been?). This time I’m not just going away, but being sent away. Work is sending me on a seminar. A two day seminar… the two days being Friday and Saturday(!) in Cologne. So we (my colleague and I) are leaving tomorrow straight after work. Annoyingly, I should have been going to Vienna with Jan this weekend – it’s a friend of his 30th birthday and there’s a party. But it cannot be helped. At least I’ll get to see the Cologne Christmas market though… it’s supposed to be nice.

And now I have to go and figure out a way to get 2 pairs of socks washed and dried in time for me to pack them in my going away for the weekend bag. The radiators shall be on full blast tonight methinks…

Every year, thousands of folks attend corporate events all across the world, whether they are confer

Every year, thousands of folks attend corporate events all across the world, whether they are conferences, conventions, or seminars. And every year, they spend a great deal of money on airfare to get to their event. What can these folks do to make the most of their visit to that location?

For example, if you’re flying from Japan into Seattle to attend a conference for 2-3 nights, what other activities could you do to take advantage of your time in this region? You could visit the Space Needle, the Pike Place Market, and do normal touristy activities, but if you really want to experience the beautiful Pacific Northwest, you would go on a cruise to Alaska for 7 nights.

So you might be wondering, what is the real attractiveness of a pre or post cruise and why should one consider it?

When folks come into a city for an event, whether it is Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami, or New York, they are there for more than just one reason, or at least they would like to be. They don’t want to simply come into town, attend the event, and then head back home. Many folks want to experience more of the region they are in. A perfect opportunity to do this is by going on a pre or post cruise. You and your fellow event attendees can take a leisure cruise vacation and not have to worry about coming back again in the future to experience it and spending all that money again on airfare.

A pre or post cruise can last anywhere from 3-7+ nights, all based on your location and desire to cruise. The bottom line? You enhance your overall experience during your visit to the region. You might be thinking, “Going on a pre or post cruise can become really expensive and I don’t want to spend extra money.” Actually, it’s quite the contrary.

Cruising offers you the best value in vacationing out there as everything is included in the price of your cruise, such as meals, accommodations, and entertainment. Compare that to a land resort and you’ll see what I mean. And if you wait to come later, you’re going to have to spend money on that airfare again. So why not take advantage of a cruise while you’re already there?

With that being said, if your event is in Seattle, have an open mind and consider going to Alaska for 7 nights. If you’re in the Southern California area, think about doing a 3-4 day Baja Mexico cruise, or if you’re a true vacationer, a 7-night Mexican Riviera cruise. If you’re in the Florida area, consider a Bahamas or even a Caribbean cruise from anywhere between 3-7+ nights. It’s up to you!

You can even have special events onboard the ship just for you and your colleagues as a continuation of your event. Whether that is a cocktail reception party or an actual portion of the event, the possibilities are endless. You can even take advantage of the meeting facilities onboard as they are absolutely free!

Everyone always talks about money well spent, and to get the most bang for their buck – a pre and post cruise offers you just that, and much more.

Continuing education is an important compliment to quality dental care. To that end the doctors and staff attended the “Detroit Dental Review” convention in Detroit on Friday November 20,2009. The seminar “Achieving Extraordinary service” presented by featured speaker Mrs. Rosemary Bray was fun and informative.

Relentless Forgiveness Brings Couples Closer Together.

Spiritual teacher and life coach Mark Van der Gaag will hold an exploration and training in the principles of Relentless Forgiveness on Sunday, November, 29, 2009, 10am to 12pm at the Circle of Miracles Church, New Britain, PA.

Training Principles of Relentless Forgiveness explore questions such as:

Is your love life less than what you want?

Do you feel tired, angry, hurt, lonely or unfulfilled?

Do you feel like something is missing?

Do you want the arguing to stop?

Do you want the pain to go away?

Do you want more warmth, sex or affection?

Do you want more love?

Mark Van der Gaag is the founder of CorePower Coaching. His coaching technique approaches all projects, goals and conditions from the perspective of relational dynamics. He believes that relationship is all that is ever happening. He views all forms of relationship as an expression of the universal dance between the masculine and feminine forces. Mark uses a practical application of these spiritual principles to support people in becoming masters of opening their hearts, enjoying the dance and having what they want. CorePower Coaching is designed to help clients improve clarity and focus, strengthen commitment, take action and be open to receive.

Through personal coaching and group training Mark supports individuals, couples and groups in achieving the extraordinary relationships, careers and lifestyles that they desire. He also facilitates exclusive weekend coaching intensives for couples designed to break through blocks, improve communication, inspire cooperation, and amplify joy, passion and intimacy.

A professional coach for more than 5 years, Mark trained and worked closely with world renowned author, orator and spiritual leader, Marianne Williamson and was trained and certified as an Integrative Coach by best selling author Debbie Ford at the Ford Institute for Integrative Coaching in La Jolla, California. Mark was the director and teacher of a spiritual program for teenagers for more than 3 years, has helped establish over 50 groups for an international non-profit organization for peace, and has facilitated over 700 group sessions designed to help adults manifest their vision.

Additionally, Mark has completed trainings and programs with such cutting edge institutions as Sierra Tucson (addictions and co-dependency), Landmark Education (The Curriculum for Living), the Institute for Self Actualization (The Isa Experience), and The Philadelphia More House (Basic Sensuality); and has studied and attended workshops, retreats and lectures with numerous highly acclaimed teachers and best selling authors in the fields of spirituality and personal development such as Deepak Chopra, T. Harv Ekar, Shakti Gawain, Don Miguel Ruiz, Robert Bly, David Deida, Neil Donald Walsh, Wayne Dyer and others.

Well GNOME Asia Summit 2009 is finally over – I think it was pretty good, I met some cool developers – Vietnamese as well as expats from a couple of different countries. I think it was a success – some of my Vietnamese buddies we very happy to attend the event and learn new things.

Generally in Vietnam due to the very easy availability of any software (unlicensed off-course) no-one tries to work with open-source much, they find .NET easier and faster to work with. Any software CD/DVD can be obtained for less than or equal to 1 US Dollar.

Hello All,

Upon my looking thru youtube today I found a clip of Sensei Yori Nakamura demonstrating the Shoot Wrestling Lock Flow series 1 and it is amazing!!!

For those of you who don’t know who Sensei Yori is here is the background that I have been told on him. He trained at the Super Tiger Shoot Wrestling Gym in Japan under Satoru Sayama in the 1980’s and came to the Inosanto Academy (www.inosanto.com) in 1989.

At the Inosanto Academy here is a small list of the people that he taught

Guro Dan Inosanto (www.inosanto.com)

Sensei Erik Paulson (www.erikpaulson.com)

Sifu Dave Hatch (www.attributivemartialarts.com)

I know that there are many more people that he taught while at the academy. Those 3 have had a huge influence on me and my training. I remember when Sifu Dave would go to the academy and get to train with Sensei Yori he would come back and rave about him and how dynamic he was. There are many clips on Youtube of Sensei Yori this one stood out to me.

You have the right skills to be successful in your job. You have served your company loyally for yea

You have the right skills to be successful in your job. You have served your company loyally for years. Why are you not the boss yet, then? Probably, you lack interpersonal skills. You may be impressive in accomplishing papers but not in interacting with people. It does not matter how superior you are intellectually. You should understand that using smarts alone, is not going to lead you to success. Having interpersonal skills is a big plus in today’s corporate world. It helps you leave great impressions to people and could thus serve as your stepping stone to success.

Some people were born with great interpersonal skills, but techniques on how to effectively communicate with people can be learned. Not all of those people who could communicate properly were born with that skill — some of them might have just learned it by going to interpersonal skills seminars. You too should attend one! There are many organizations out there that offer such seminars to those who are willing to learn. LearningDB.com, JobsDB Singapore’s management training and development arm, for instance, will be having an interpersonal skills seminar aptly named “Powerful People Skills” this December. Right now, they are accepting people! With Heather Hansen, Professional speech and language trainer, public speaker and voice-over artist as speaker, this seminar aims to teach its participants how to build powerful relationships and strong rapport with anyone from the moment you meet.

Why choose to go to this seminar when there are thousands of others out there? For one, it features Heather, a well-known figure in the industry of public relations and communications. You will definitely learn a lot from her. Another is that attendees will be receiving Heather’s brand new book about improving interpersonal skills.

Have you been staying in the office longer than the usual lately? Has your boss been giving you more

Have you been staying in the office longer than the usual lately? Has your boss been giving you more work these past few days? If you have become quite irritable because of these office routine changes, one thing is for sure, you have caught stress. It is not unusual to get stressed out of course; however, too much stress can get you out of control. Too much of it can make you emotionally unpredictable! If you find it difficult to avoid outbursts of anger and helplessness after being given more office tasks, you might have become dangerously stressed out. You might not have noticed the changes but your extra hours at work have already influenced how you react to things. And you should do something to remedy the situation as soon as possible. Sartre once said that our emotions define our being. These mental states largely influence how our lives progress. Stress should not be thought of as an inevitable part of building a fruitful career, that having said. Getting overly stressed out is not a step that has to be passed in order to get to the highest level of success.

To some people, a cup of black coffee is enough to relax away from stress, but there are also some that need professional help to do so. If you belong to the latter crowd, it is best that you seek the assistance of EQ and stress consultants. Dealing with stress will be much easier once you fully understand how human EQ works. The primary purpose of Stress management and EQ seminars is to give advice and support to people like you. Enrolling to stress management seminars may cost you quite a handful of coins, but is worth it. You will not only learn new techniques to cope with stress but also improve your concentration, memory and immunity to common illnesses.

Career Events, under JobsDB Singapore, is going to have EQ and You this coming January. EQ and You is a lecture concerning Emotional Intelligence. EQ and You aims to “create awareness of the significance of Emotional Intelligence in one’s professional as well as personal life.” Why should you attend this seminar? EQ and Youwill not just teach you how to cope to stress effectively but also how to master your emotions. Attending the said seminar will teach you how to master your own destiny! How interesting, right?
