How we Tell our Stories

Last Sunday, worn out from Anniversary festivities I decided on a kick-back afternoon. I went to see the movie, “Guardians of the Galaxy.” What a cast of misfits – Peter Quill who calls himself Starlord” though no one else does, Gamora, a green assassin from another world hoping to betray her master for an infinity stone, Yondu a blue space pirate, who will betray anyone, Drax, a big guy – yep – that’s pretty much his role – Big Guy, Rocket who is an upright and armed raccoon, with a nasty vocabulary, the victim of way too much laboratory experimentation, and Groot (played by Vin Diesel) who is a walking tree. 1,675 more words
