One Year Later

July 29, 2013 – I never thought a year would pass this quickly. I can still remember the moment I passed the May 2013 board exams, the moment I prayed for direction in terms of my career, the moment I applied to different auditing firms, the moment I took the pre-employment exams, the moment the HR staff told me I qualify for the next round of interview, the moment they called me for an interview with a manager, the moment that manager interviewed me, the moment he asked me what internal controls are, the moment I kept on saying “Uhm, internal controls are, uhm”, the moment the HR manager told me I got a job offer, and the moment I finally knew what internal controls are (haha). 878 more words
