Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan says Shah Rukh Khan left him in a jovial mood after the latter called him to confirm his presence at the premiere of upcoming film “Paa“.

“Shah Rukh has remained with me in the late afternoon. He is a very funny man and shakes me into joviality when I inform him about the premiere and his absolute presence there. He tells me, `He is already there, black suited and with anticipation of seeing `Paa`,” Amitabh posted on bigb.bigadda.com.

“Aamir too communicates today and confirms his presence,” he added.

The cast and crew of “Paa” – including Amitabh, Abhishek and director R Balakrishnan have major plans for the film`s premiere December 3 in Mumbai.

Amitabh plays a 12-year-old progeria patient in “Paa” and he had to stick on several pieces of specially crafted clay to get the right look for the movie. The disease causes premature ageing among children.

International make-up artist Stephan Dupuis designed Big B`s look and the megastar had to sit for five-six hours for the make-up.

The 67-year-old says he is now anxious about how the audience and critics will react to the film.

Sushmita Sen’s up coming movie Dulha Mil Gaya is set to release in the early of 2010. This release date was postponed many times due to the delay in the shootings. Finally movie makers completed the shooting part and announced the release date.

Trailers of this movie recently came out. Before the promo release, Bollywood audience haven’ expected more from this movie. But trailers are very promising and looking very lavish. Mudussar Aziz has directed this movie, Vivek Vaswani produced it.

most of the movie was shot in beautiful Caribbean islands. Shahrukh Khan has played the guest role, Fardeen Khan and Tara Sharma are the other lead cast in this film.

3 Idiots

‘Three Idiots tells the story of three friends whose dismal grade point averages at their college influence their friendship, romance and career choices. It is rumored to be loosely based on a famous novel, Five Point Someone by Indian writer Chetan Bhagat.

The movie is directed by Rajkumar Hirani ( Munnabhai, Munnabhai 2) and  stars Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi aswell as  Madhavan. It is ‘the’ most anticipated movie of the year and is expect to hit the cinemas on the 25th of December ( exactly 1 year from ‘Ghajini’). It will be Aamir Khan’s second movie in a calendar year something he hasn’t done since 1999.

Also interesting to see is Kareena Kapoor who also stars in the movie as Aamir’s love interest. This will be the first time they will be seen together on screen, and already there is a hype after the release of the video for the song ‘Zoobi Doobi’ which is picturized on the pair.

Teen Patti

Teen Patti brings together the two legends, Amitabh Bachchan and Sir Ben Kingsley. The movie also stars Madhavan (again) and Sushmita Sen.

Teen Patti is a fast paced thriller which has gambling as its back drop.

Ben Kingsley, who essays Perci Trachtenberg, widely regarded as the word’s greatest living mathematician, meets Venkat, played by Amitabh Bachchan, a reclusive math genius from India, at a high rolling casino in London. Venkat tells Perci about an equation that could not only change the dialogue on mathematics forever, but one that has already left an indelible impression of guilt – for many painful reasons – on Venkat’s life.

Their are rumours that this movie is similar to ‘21′ but with no promos or videos out nothing can be proved yet. The music is given  by Salim Suliaman and hence is hoped to be par with their recent chart breaking tunes and songs.

The movie is due to release mid February next year.

My Name is KHAN

Directed by none other than Karan Johar and starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol this movie is the biggest movie to hit the screen early next year (12th Febuary, same as Teen Patti). This will be Karan Johar’s first movie as a director in 4 years after Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum.

Rizwan Khan (Tanay Chheda) is a Muslim child he grew up with his mother (Zarina Wahab) in the Borivali section of Mumbai. Rizwan has Asperger syndrome. As an adult (Shahrukh Khan), Rizwan falls in love with a Hindu single mother, Mandira (Kajol) who …lives in San Francisco. While not focusing on the events of 9/11, the storyline explores the period afterwards. At that time, authorities arrest and detain Rizwan, after interpreting the visible aspects of his condition as “suspicious” behavior. After his arrest, he meets Radha (Sheetal Menon), a therapist who helps him overcome the ordeal. Rizwan then begins a journey to find and meet President Barack Obama (Christopher B. Duncan) in order to clear his name.

The music is given my Shankar Ehsan Loy (who recently got average response for the music of London Dreams) and will be hoping to start the next year on high.

Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan were acted together for the movies Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om. Both the movies bagged huge hits and broken the Box Office records. Many days back only they have announced their next flick.

In Kollywood she has played the role which was played by Kareena Kapoor in Jab We Met. In many remakes, heroes or heroines simply copies the original version stars action. But Tamanna did in her own style and gave required energy to that role.

My Name Is Khan which is coming from the successful combo Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar bagged huge profits pre-release only. Fox Star studio’s bagged the world wide release rights for 100 crores. It has broken Ghajini record which was sold for 90 crores.

Ghajini enjoyed the record almost one year. But My Name Is Khan, record time limited only for one month. Hrithik Roshan starred Kites which is set to release by the early 2010 broken this record. Big Pictures has bagged the world wide release rights of Kites for 150 crores.This movie proved the stamina of Hrithik Roshan.

Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut were paired opposite Hrithi Roshan.

Why is October 12 so special for me? (No… it’s not my birthday and I am still single)

October 12… sounds like an ordinary date doesn’t it? But for me, it’s worth a thousand smiles. Something happened on this day which I so dearly wanted to happen since my childhood. I am sure many would consider my excitement as over the top but I can’t help. Three years back, I finally saw him in real and spoke with him (not her by any means). And before you start thinking, God knows what, let me come to the point and stop your weird imaginations. It was the day when I met the great Baadshah of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan!

I and my classmates, who were completing PG Diploma in Journalism, were sent by our college (K C College of Management Studies) to a talk show on NDTV show where SRK was the guest. I clearly remember how desperate I was to put in my name in the list of those who were interesting in attending the show. Thus began my wait for that Thursday, which finally arrived. After we reached Mehboob Studio for more than an hour, King Khan finally arrived dressed in a shirt and blue jeans. I could hardly believe my eyes and luck.

Pranab Roy, the host, quickly began the show. As Shah Rukh started answering questions on his daily life, we soon came to know how down to earth he is. We were all pleasantly surprised to see the biggest star behaving in the most simplest of manners just like any other common man. The show began to progress and so did King Khan’s friendliness with us. Also we were awestruck by his witty humor.

In between he also gave attitude tips in a totally non-preaching manner. It’s after listening to one of his tips that I have started doing every small activity with utmost dedication. SRK had said, “Even if you are just brushing your teeth you should brush it in such a way as if it is the last time you are getting a chance to do so.” Initially I wasn’t sure of this but still gave it a try few days after the show and today I am still enjoying doing every small activity enthusiasm.

Later in the show, selected few got a chance to ask Shah Rukh a question and of course I was one of them. While all were desperately pleading for the mike with all excitement, I just politely signaled Roy for a chance and it paid off. If there was a moment where calmness scored over desperation, this was one!

As I tried asking a question to SRK, I could feel my hand shaking, heartbeat thumping and my breath going irregular. I asked, “Are you looking forward to becoming a director ever?” and he answered humorously, “Yes, maybe after 4-5 years when nobody will give me work.” I won’t explain my reaction after this cameo of a talk with him because I will never be able to do so! And lastly, we broke the rules of the organizers and ran on the stage. Needless to say I was one of them. I can still feel his handshake.

The show ended as Shah Rukh Khan danced with few members from the audience. And this time, I, being the worst dancer in the world, was happy sitting in the audience as I had no intentions of making a fool of myself on national television! Thus, the show ended and so did one of the best moments of my life.

When my course ended, majority of my classmates felt the money spent on the fees wasn’t worth. In fact, almost all of them felt that… except me. Those few hours spent inside Mehboob studio never allowed me to feel that way.

My Name Is Khan one of the most awaited movie in Shahrukh Khan’s career. Recently director Karan Johar has completed shooting of this movie final schedule. Present this movie is in post production stage.

Ze dat daar maar, in die vreemde kamer, met op haar man na alleen maar vreemde mensen. Ze kon niet verstaan waar ze het over hadden, maar ze had wel door dat alle mensen meer of min in paniek waren. Er werd geschreeuwd, en een keer iets voorgelezen, en daarna iets rondgedeeld. Maar Aishwarya verstond niets, en op de brief stonden wat haar betreft ook alleen maar rare tekens.

Toen drie vrouwen opstonden en wegliepen, nam Shahrukh eindelijk eens tijd voor haar, en legde alles uit. Nu snapte ze nog minder waar ze aan toe was!

‘Maar, ik begrijp het niet. Kunnen we dan niet weg? We zijn hier toch ook gekomen?’

Shahrukh schudde zijn hoofd. ‘Nee, we zijn gisteren in de buitenlucht in slaap gevallen, de meesten van deze mensen weten niet precies hoe ze hier zijn gekomen. Maar er is geen deur, en de brief zegt dat we hier moeten blijven.’

Aishwarya voelde wat bewegen en legde haar handen beschermend om haar buik. ‘En waarom moet ik dan leren lezen??’

‘Ik weet het niet. Misschien wil hij dat je de brief zelf kan lezen; er is niet voor niets voor ieder een eigen exemplaar. Maar je moet ook engels leren. Zodat je met de rest van de mensen kan praten.’

Aishwarya zuchtte. Ze had haar hele leven al gehoopt dat ze ooit naar school zou gaan, en zich er al lang bij neer gelegd dat dit nooit zou gebeuren. En nu? Nu zou ze ineens toch leren lezen en schrijven! Van haar eigen man. Ze zag er tegen op omdat het moeilijk leek, maar het was een langgekoesterde droom die nu in vervulling zou gaan.

Maar een vreemde taal leren? Dat kon ze nooit. Ze was maar een dom plattelandsmeisje…

Er waren 14 versies van de brief. Twee in het Nederlands, twee in het Hindi, een in het Tagalog, een in het Fins, een in het Russisch, en zeven in het engels.

Percy deelde de brieven rond, en ze lazen haar allemaal nog eens over. Shahrukh en Aishwarya praatten zacht.

In een Nederlandse brief stond nog een toevoeging: het is verstandig om binnen twee maanden engels te leren, anders zouden er wel eens vervelende gevolgen kunnen zijn. In een Hindibrief stond dat ook, maar dan met drie maanden.

In de andere Hindi brief stond: Het is jouw taak er voor te zorgen dat je vrouw leert lezen. Doe het snel.

Het was Wayne die het eerst ontplofte. ‘GEEN UITGANG? Dat zullen we nog wel eens zien! Desnoods haal ik een stuk muur weg!!’

De rest probeerde hem te bedaren. ‘Blijf rustig!’ zei Shawn. ‘Natuurlijk zullen we alles op alles stellen om hier uit te komen, en het zal uiteindelijk wel lukken. Maar driftig doen lost niets op.’

Wayne spuugde op de grond. ‘En wat lost rustig doen op? Wat lost hier zitten thee drinken en babbelen en schattige liefdesbrieven van onze gijzelaar op? Wat heb je daarop te zeggen, vuile homo??’

Percy, die net een doekje te voorschijn had gehaald en de vlek op de vloer weghaalde, verstijfde. Hij had de hele avond al naar Shawn zitten staren, en vroeg zich af waar hij hem van kende. Maar de woorden vuile homo waren alsof er een klik in zijn hoofd omging, en hij voelde een stevige hoofdpijn opkomen.

Vuile homo. Shawn. Die man daar was zijn zoon.

‘Goed, zei Alexandr die de leiding nam, ‘laten we maar beginnen met onze naam te noemen, en hoe we hier terecht zijn gekomen. Ik begin, en daarna met de klok mee? Maar laten we het kort houden!

Ik ben dus Alexandr, uit Rusland. Ik ben gisteravond gewoon in mijn eigen bed gaan slapen, en werd hier wakker, naast Isolde.’ Hij wees naar de blonde vrouw die tegenover hem zat.

‘Ik ben Bep, een Nederlandse boerenvrouw. Ik zat even thuis op de bank, met mijn ogen dicht, en toen ik ze weer open deed, zat ik hier op een stoel. Die man daar is Klaas, mijn echtgenoot. Hij liep de schuur van onze boerderij in, maar kwam hier uit.’

‘Anna Lisa, Fillipijnen. Ik kreeg een brief van een oude vriendin, of ik haar wou bezoeken. Op het adres stond dit gebouw, dus ik ben zo naar binnen gewandeld.’

‘Shawn, uit LA. Ik zat rustig op mijn eigen kamer te werken, toen Anna Lisa op mijn deur klopte, en plotseling bevond mijn kamer zich in dit gebouw. Even later was mijn kamer gewoon weg.’

‘Emily, Londen. Ik nam een lift aan van iemand die ik niet kende, en hij duwde me met geweld hier naar binnen.’

‘Isolde, ook engeland. Ik werd hier wakker, net als Alexandr.’

‘Samantha, Finland. Ik was in de disco, en volgens mij gooide iemand iets in mijn drinken.’

‘Ik ben Joseph, ik woon in Israël, maar had het vliegtuig naar Amerika genomen. Een taxi bracht me hier heen.’

‘Percy. Ik had een betrekking aangenomen op een eiland in zuid-schotland. Daar stond dit huis.’

‘Ik ben Shahrukh, dit is mijn vrouw Aishwarya. We vielen in India in slaap, maar werden hier wakker.’

‘Wayne. D’r was hier net nog een parkeergarage onder. Ik hoop maar dat er waar-dan-ook goed op mijn auto gepast wordt.’

‘Mara… Sharon. Ik, ik ben Sharon. Ik ben hier gewoon naar binnen gewandeld.’

‘Waarvandaan?’

‘New York’

‘Goed, zei Alexandr, we zijn hier gekomen vanuit Rusland, New York, Los Angelos, Engeland, Nederland, India en Finland.’

‘En de Fillipijnen’ vulde Anna Lisa aan.

‘precies. En het gebouw is gezien in de Fillipijnen, New York, en…’ hij keek Joseph en Wayne vragend aan.

‘Kansas.’ Texas.’

‘Okee, en de rest was hier zo maar ineens? Al dan niet slapend?’

de aanwezigen knikten. ‘Ik slaap nog steeds, zei Emily, dit kan niets anders dan een vreemde droom zijn.’ Iedereen begon weer door elkaar te praten.

‘Okee, even centraal, riep Isolde. Volgens Emily is dit een droom, volgens Shawn een spookhuis. Toevallig nog iemand met een logische verklaring?’

‘Ja!’ riep Percy, en iedereen keek ineens gespannen zijn kant op. ‘Of tenminste, hier ligt iets dat geschreven is door iemand die er meer van af weet.’

Toen de thee en sandwiches opwaren besloot het gezelschap nogmaals naar boven te gaan om te ontdekken wat er aan de hand was, of misschien iemand tegen te komen die hen wat kon vertellen. Dit keer met de lift.

Maar net toen ze in wilden stappen kwamen zeven andere mensen uit de lift, en even later praatte iedereen door elkaar. ‘KOP HOUDEN’ schreeuwde Alexandr ineens en iedereen keek hem aan. Laten we terug naar de salon gaan, en één voor één zeggen wat we te zeggen hebben.

Maar de salon van net was weg, en in plaats daarvan zagen ze een gezellige huiskamer, met een open haard en een paar banken en stoelen, groot genoeg voor 14 mensen om elkaar niet in de weg te zitten.
