I remember first readin Yuta’s blog,  it was the only blog  I could find about an S30. Anyway here’s Yuta’s famous Z. Blessed by the stance gods.

I’m not even a fan of flares, but this Z is pullin it off really well.

I’m not going to gush over this thing. I’ll leave that to the rest of the internet. I’m here to look at this example of fandom-causing automobilia objectively, which I’ll keep to myself. I hope Mr Akaishi doesn’t mind me using his photo. Any man worth his life is never too proud to have his work considered by others.

It intrigues me how infatuated others can be with the opinions of the world. It shouldn’t matter, why should it? It’s not even as simple as the now-over-used concept of doing what you want. You don’t, and shouldn’t need to be told that.

To quote a great man,  Howard Roark, to a foul man, Ellsworth Toohey, who shared only one thing with Mr Roark, their lack of existence. This is upon being asked by Mr Toohey what Mr Roark thought of him.

It’s the things we love and desire that enslave us. Don’t let those things be determined by the opinions of others.

The car looks fantastic, there is no doubt, but does it deserve the accolades it has recieved? Has there been a great feat of engineering involved? Does it do something new and innovative? No. But then the owner hasn’t claimed it does. It exists in it’s own right.

It’s only a car. You’re a person, capable of such greatness your mind likely doesn’t know of it. Reserve your admiration

This Y33 Cima is owned by a service station attendant in down town osaka. drove past this a few times and had to take a few pics when we refuled the kei truck.

The Y33 has some amazing lines to the car stock, so the subtile body kit with window shields, small boot lip, rear window lip, fog lights, winker door mirrors, coilovers and epic fitment with 19’s set this car up very well.

Its amazing to see a car like this in real life drive around as a daily driver with this ride height.

A couple of times a year a car pops up and is suddenly on every single blog and forum on the planet. The full rust BMW 5 series is a good example of this phenomena. I’m gonna jump on the bandwagon and post the latest one eventhough I’m sure you’ve seen it, Yuta Akaishi’s ratty shakotan style 240Z. I wasn’t going to since it’s already everywhere, but damn it deserves to be. I’ll at least do a non-JCCS pic.

Thanks to Dave and xBtony for hitting me with updates on this one. I posted this box a while back when it just had the pipes and I mentioned I hoped it was the start of something big and the owner has NOT disappointed! Rears are an absolutely mind blowing 15×13 -119. Yea, let that sink in a minute. I love it because there’s no going back, you can’t just unbolt a few things and have this one back to stock in a weekend. He’s all in and not done yet, this one’s going to be crazy, and I love crazy! It clocks in at 84 inches wide, for reference a Hummer H1 is only 2 inches wider. Shouts to the gang at clubxB for keeping the fun in the car game.

Speaking of seeing some Boso flavor show up in the US dig this Xb from Toyota Fest. Hate on it all you want I bet homeboy has a blast with this thing, and that’s what it’s all about.

Hot damn do I love Bosozuko style. Yea yea I don’t care if you think it’s gay. I love seeing some of that style trickle into the the US scene. Well, I think I do. I love seeing it, but actually I hope it stays rare and doesn’t become a big trend and get ruined the way anything that blows up eventually does. Anyway, dig on the Boso inspired pipes these US guys are rocking.
