When I am very sick, lying on my bed, I feel like I am leaving my body. I do not feel my legs and my arms. I feel my chest and my head, however. They seem to be the anchors that keep me from levitating, flying, vanishing out of this body. Sometimes I close my eyes and I feel like I see things underneath, in between and beyond the darkness.

When this happens, I appear to travel at very fast speeds in worlds I cannot comprehend or describe. Everything changes its own shape extremely quickly. At some point, aggressive, repeating images keep coming back and I have to open my eyes and rid my mind of this madness.

When I am very sick, lying on my bed, I often feel like I am very skinny or very fat. When I dream, I experience violent and disturbing events. They become so disturbing that they wake me up.

Sometimes, when I think of these moments, I feel like something is desperately trying to use this feeble state of mine in order to do something to me. I have the feeling that some sort of entity, a being, is attempting to do me harm. I cannot explain it even to my own self, but it seems obvious in some way or another. There is something evil that is fueled with envy and hatred towards us.

My first alphabet

The letters supposedly spell out the usual “the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog,” but for some, I just can’t see it. Cool looking font regardless.

These pebbles were all photographed within a few metres of each other on the beach at Whiteford Point, Gower. A relatively small selection showing a wide  variety of shape, colour, texture, pattern and composition. There are limestones, sandstones, conglomerates, and fossils. Ovals, triangles, rectangles and boot-shapes! Red, yellow, orange, brown, buff, grey and blue-grey. Rusty patterns made by the inclusion of iron minerals within the stone. Patterns made by an assortment of rock types of different sizes cemented together. Designs formed by the inclusion of fossil corals. Patterns made by quartz veins in the mother rock. Pebbles derived from local rocks like Old Red Devonian sandstone, Carboniferous limestone, Millstone Grit and Coal Measures. Pebbles delivered to the Point from much further afield courtesy of an ice sheet.

* Are you a person with a plus-size body? If this is your body type, which means you have extra large body, you also should stay away from small handbag. Moreover, even if you will use other bags like shoulder bags, you have to make sure that it has a long shoulder strap. Using larger handbags however better improves your personality.

* Are you a person with curvy body? Definitely you are lucky enough compared to others for you may use almost any kind of handbags. But it would be much better if you can have the bag which hits just above your waist, this is to accentuate your waistline.

Mischief, mischief, mischief!

What mischief have I, or should I say we, been up to? Well venturing into yet another aspect of this, our Second Lives(tm)! This time, under the banner of “T&T Designs and Consulting (2009) (c)”, husband and wife team Takeshi and Tempest Kiama have added their experience in SL’s fashion industry, and their RL artistic ability, and brought about the first line of their ‘body business’.

Gentlemen! This one’s for you!

Owners Tempest Hennesy and Takeshi Kiama have had a, combined, experience of six plus years in the Second Life(tm) fashion industry.  Combined with their real world artistic abilities, and the invaluable advice of Ohren Beck of I.N.X.X., each shape has been painstakingly created to be proportionally balanced and  as realistic as SL will allow.

With the philosophy that, compared to the standard building, Second Life metrics are a bit off, these shapes may appear exceedingly tall but when, for example, compared to the door frame of the average prefab home, they are perfectly ‘normal’.

My writing group is meeting in the Napa Valley this weekend to write.

Usually we meet to read and critique each other’s work.

I am encouraged by the little frog outside who stops croaking if I open my door and from the shapes and colors inside and out.

Having played on ACT albums by everyone from Nils Landgren (featured here) and Viktoria Tolstoy to the late Albert Mangelsdorff, drummer Wolfgang Haffner is adept at tailoring his percussive contributions to individual requirements. His own tastes, however, judged by the twelve compositions he’s included on this, his debut album as a leader, lead him to that mix of ambient sounds, minimalism and drum-programme music frequently described as nu jazz. His strong backbeats, slurping and slithering electronic percussion, washes of synthesised sound and chattering/insect swarm effects form the backdrop for a series of simple melodic hooks and haunting fragments of tunes, sometimes stated by Lars Danielsson’s acoustic bass, at other times by Landgren’s crooning trombone, Sebastian Studnitzky’s trumpet or acoustic piano, or Frank Kuruc’s acoustic guitar. The result is a fascinating, at times downright mesmeric selection of textures and timbres underpinned by Haffner’s drums and effects, the music’s jazz elements (the odd solo on ethereal muted trumpet or luminously delicate acoustic piano) leavening a sound mix that occasionally veers too close to being an end in itself, but which usually works well as a gelling agent. Mood music, certainly, but tellingly informed by a jazz sensibility.

The world has different kinds of faces and races. Every individual is kinda unique. Every person possess different qualities or characteristics. Take a look at the pictures below…

Which do you think is  Hip?  Square?

Just by looking at the pictures, any person can tell that the one on the left is a square and on the right is a hip.

Before we start, let us first get acquainted with the definitions of these two common slang words, Hip means being stylish, trendy, familiar or updated with the latest trends, developments, ideas, and styles. Square is a a person who is ignorant of or uninterested in current fads, ideas, manners, tastes some who is regarded as dull, rigidly conventional, old fashioned and out of touch with current trends. Despite all these negative values, Square also means  being fair, just or honest.

Out of nowhere, something just popped out my mind, why not be Hip and Square at the same time. perhaps lot of people are gonna ask me “Is that possible?”.  Believe it or not, something thought impossible, will now be possible through the help of this video

Based on the video and some resources, square is a four sided figures, which meets at right angles. The meeting point of the sides are called vertices. The diagonals of a square are the two lines joining opposite vertices; they are of equal length and are the perpendicular bisectors of one another. We can get the perimeter by adding the lengths of the four sides, or by using this formula, P=4 s, where s is the length of a side. For the area, just raise the length of the side by itself or by using the formula A= s² . The square is one of most familiar geometric figures and has long had various symbolic meanings in religion and art.

To be a hip square, just follow these tips; first, be updated with the latest trends, second respect the traditions of the old third practice honesty, even-handedness and fairness to everybody.

Of all people I know Christian Bautista, a Filipino singer, actor and model, would be a perfect example of a hip square. Just by looking at him anybody will be able see that he acquainted with the latest fads and styles. If you did deeper at his background, being a Born Again Christian, he wakes up every 3 o’clock in the morn to pray and seek His words.

I assure you with the tip  a sprinkle determination and willpower, and hard work, someone can be Hip and Square without difficulty.

White is sooo incrediblly difficult to wear as it needs a huge amount of detail to make it work.  However, this beautiful gown, Nardya’s Hallucinations in White by one of my favorite Couture houses, Phoenix Rising is a tribute to what a combination of huge amounts of talent, patience & dedication can produce.  The Gown is adorned with pretty, prim sculptie flowers & lots of beautiful touches like the lace detail on the bodice & raised buttons on the belt which gives it a really lovely feminine feel.  This Gown is stunning enough not only for your masked balls, but it can also be worn as a wedding gown or even bridesmaid dress!  I have added the funky choppy Hair by OH to give it a modern feel.  Skin is Masked Skin @ Lunas Boutique. My first male shape… ever (!) is called Fabian. When I first saw this post by Tarsis, I had to grab the gorgeous Belleza skin for myself, it’s sooo yummy!! Definately great inspiration for my first male shape. Hope you like it! xxx enjoy ^^
